Dallas Arbiter - Fuzz Face
"Owned and used by Zoot Horn Rollo throughout his tenure with Captain Beefheart and modded by Zappa’s tech in the late 1960’s.
The mod may be one of the first ever done on a fuzz face. If the knob is full counter clockwise and off – the fuzz face functions as normal. When turned, the tone goes to complete sputtery and gated in the max position.
The pedal is functioning great and is missing its back plate. The silicon transistors are stamped IFK BC 108 C
This pedal comes from a musician whom has worked and recorded with Zoot aka Bill Harkleroad in various projects."

using this as a method of simultaneous self-deprecation and as a method to find possible mutuals.
I REALLY have to go to bed earlier :)

WIP. Flat colors.
Osaka trying to sing "Bat Chain Puller outside when she spots a worm coming out of the dirt. She then gets onto the ground and bullies it into going back in its hole while still singing the verse she's on.
I noticed backgrounds in Don Bluth films illustrate cracks in dirt patches with grids, effectively conveying its 3D space. So I kind of wanted to try it.

aw that’s a cute story. apparently the last time Beefheart called Zappa when he was sick & dying in the hospital he didn’t say a word and just played the old blues records they used to listen to as kids over the phone for about an hour. First time they had ‘talked’ in years
vide that other cute story of Zappa saying for that documentary video ‘I had an album of sea shanties when I was a kid I lent to Captain Beefheart, and he never returned it’ and Beefheart seeing the doc years later and screaming ‘He GAVE IT to me!!’ cute
here’s a unique version of them doing Beefheart’s normally a cappella ‘Orange Claw Hammer’ live in the studio on the radio with Zappa on acoustic. A very weird sea shanty
