Supernatural season 14

Oh boy!

So Alt-Michael has taken over Dean’s body and absconded to parts unknown - what an unprecedented plot twist who could’ve possibly seen this coming, certainly not Dean, the one guy who doesn’t trust angels and has a history of being short-sighted & making shitty deals.

Since this is season 14, and there’s only 1 more season after this, I presume Dean will never grow out of these bad qualities 🤦🏾‍♀️, so…moving on.

Check you out Sam, leading your new band of hunters, like some sort of Hunters Incorporated©️. I’m glad Sam gets to spend more time with his mom, but he won’t let her take care of him 😔😭

Was it me or did that Michael & Anael scene feel like Jensen x Danneel role play 🤣 - at least when he caressed her face. Like really bro? I don’t think the scene would’ve played out that way if the actors weren’t actual husband and wife ����

Also lol karma for Dean in 14x02 when Jack is like, ‘Dean doesn’t matter’, Michael has to be stopped. Ahahahahahahaha. He was the so called pragmatist when it came to Jack, now it’s Jack’s turn. Castiel’s face when jack said it tho…

Dean got stabbed by AU Kaia? What?? Oh look yet another instance of Dean running away from his problems and pain and being a dick to Kaia (though she's technically a different person) again! Good for you tho AU Kaia for giving Dean a taste of his own medicine and telling him off.

So some necromancer gets away from Jack & Dean but we’re not gonna see her again, right??? There’s just a little over 30 episodes left in the show at this point. They probably didn’t know that at the time though.

Shoutout to the devil for basically condemning his child to die from a lack of grace :/ while Cas was able to survive (cuz plot convenience most likely) Jack as a nephilim was unable to do so. Gabe’s spare angel grace couldn’t help (I wonder if he were still alive in canon, if it would’ve made a difference. Oh well).

The nerve of Dean to challenge Alt-Kaia to either hand over the weapon or kill her. What if she just killed him? Also, can't they just replicate the weapon for their own uses? All they would need to do is ensure they're using the same materials Kaia did when she forged the weapon in her own world.

How many hits to the head is Sam supposed to fuckin' take? I feel like it's happened more in this season alone than the entire show so far? He should probably be dead at this point 🤣

Jack got taken, oh no! why didn't Michael kill him? To take him as a ward? Seriously? Whatever.

And it turns out the past episode was a long con to get Dean right where Alt-Michael wanted him. I know there was a catch to him letting Dean go in 14x02.

So Alt-Michael chose to trap Dean in…contentment? With Pamela Barnes? And they weren't even a couple, just friends. She called him out on something.

Why not have him be with a real girlfriend of his, like Lisa or even Cassie? I’m supposed to believe Dean's dream is an unsuccessful bar living out his days with a platonic lady friend??? Really??? Bullshit!

John returns for the final time to go back to 2003? Okay. His hair is cut and grayish. Lol so I’m gonna see that as John gained some weight (from food/drink or muscle training idc) and dyes his hair black but the root are grey and come out every so often 🤣 but yay JDM I wish you had been in more episodes! Oh well.

So no one’s gonna talk about:

a) Adam’s existence

b) Bobby X Mary or how Bobby essentially replaced john as the father/husband by getting involved with Mary AND being a surrogate father to Sam & Dean (with a clear preference to Dean but whatever)

I’d care more about Sam & John’s convo if we had more time with them together on screen. But it was nice to see them squash their beef.

Dean & John’s convo was faaaar too brief. But insightful to their relationship. John wanted dean to have a family, echoing his wishes for his eldest in season 1 in his convo w/ Sam.

But Dean was like I have a family 🥺 my emotions!

Back to the Michael bullshit – a fight with a gorgon fucked up his containment so he literally broke out of Dean's body and killed all the hunters who were conveniently at the bunker when they brought an unconscious Dean back there. Even poor unfortunate Maggie. For a second I thought Mary would be there since Maggie mentioned she was on her way back but no, he ended up possessing Rowena.

Then they bring the old angel torture device of disabling our heroes' ability to breathe, like in the season 5 premiere, making them blind (that's new) and making them hurt.

Jack gets his chance to take Michael down, and takes his grace??????

Oh Sam bby, it's not your fault. Those people were doomed no matter what. TBH I'm surprised they lasted this long. But cuz he's a Winchester and he was raised by Dean & they've rubbed off each other too much at this point (nobromo), he decides to focus on yet another case even when Dean himself isn't willing since big bro has pointed out they have done 3 cases back to back. They're not the young men they used to be lol.

Cas goes with Sam to a milkshake town and given his legendary levels of awkwardness he's immediately seen and called out for his inherent queerness by the townsfolk (in all senses of the word).

Aw Sam wants to stay, ofc he does. This town is simple and peaceful. He could use some of that. Too bad this place is making people's heads explode.

Oftentimes since Jack started in this show, he's felt like an intern and 14x16 is one of those times. They don't wanna bring jack along so they think to leave him alone doing chores. Good Lord.

Oh honey Sam you didn't have to tell the sheriff you're not FBI, just stick to the monster stuff. He knows what's up.

And Jack sweetie pie you don't need to impress those kids. He should be hanging out with kids his own age. Just Jack with a bunch of babies 🤣. So cute! My headcanon is that he can actually talk to them. At least then it wouldn't have ended with a stabbing. Thankfully he cleaned up his mess, even though the local kids are terrified of him. It’s a shame he doesn’t have friends. If only he was allowed to have Claire in his life.

They finally resolved the Nick storyline (I hope) by killing him off via Jack but Mary is not happy. She’s concerned. She’s been concerned about him the whole frickin episode since he sassed her as they tried setting up a game night with Dean.

It’s like these people keep forgetting what Jack is capable of.

He didn’t have to relish the kill though. On the other hand, it felt like Mary’s concern was a bit much — if it were me I would’ve kept my mouth shut as to not upset a powerful fledging being into killing me by accident.

So Mary dies…again.

This is also why we can’t have nice things. I know Dean’s never gonna let this shit go. Sure Cas has fucked up a bunch, but killing a direct blood relative of Dean’s…nope. That’s unforgivable. I know they’re not gonna let Dean kill off a kid but I know he’s NEVER ever gonna forget Jack’s role in Mary’s (second) demise.

The boys show up, did they not circle back to pick up their mother? Seriously? Goodness Lord. So depressing watching the brothers just assuming their mommy’s coming back 😭

Cas (cuz of course this shit went tits up while Daddy was away) calls Dean to get caught up on what happened the last episode and is concerned that the Winchesters left their mom alone with Jack. Then why did you leave him Cas? You could’ve taken him with you. Like it would’ve been better if one of the brothers was alone with Jack? Badasses they may be, but they would’ve ended up just like Mary let’s be honest. The only difference would’ve been whichever brother got got would’ve come back. Mary will not be getting that special treatment…

Jack is tripping out since he murdered his foster G-maw - ends up flying all over the world (so his soul is definitely gone? But if it were gone, would he even care about killing Mary? everyone’s trying to track him down IDK why he doesn’t just destroy the phone he has. We get flashes of Mary & Jack’s time together and technically I believe she spent the most time with him (at least in season 13)

They’re still giving Mark P work on this show making him the manifestation of Jack’s subconscious cuz the kill is driving Jack insane 😭🥺 He’s reacting so much like a little boy who knows he fucked up it that makes this so much sadder 😭 Jack’s being driven mad with grief.

Sam was outed to love Celine Dion (I love her two Sammy it’s ok, her songs are AMAZING! My favorite is it’s all coming back to me now, I crush that shit in karaoke.) Dean follows a mommy blog 🤣 of course he does, probably cuz he identifies with her more & loves that her life is so full of shit (like I said, he identifies with her).

It’s just like I said in season 11. God doesn’t owe anyone anything. But everyone owes Him everything. He gave everyone the freedom to choose, for better or worse. But this iteration of who God is seems to watch what people and creatures decide to do with their lives. He made the weapon to see who among Sam, Dean or Cas would take it and strike Jack down.

So ultimately when Dean tracks Jack down and Jack throws Cas into a tombstone and Sam is running dramatically to stop it, Dean ultimately decides not to kill Jack. But why though? He kept talking shit about how Jack needed to be dealt with, but when the moment comes, he won’t do it?! I mean I’m glad but it doesn’t really make sense?!

Was it the puppy eyes? Did Sam teach Jack that trick? But Jack closed his eyes at the last second???

Oh Dean, you’re such a fucking softie. That’s on you God. You made him softer than Mr. Pillsberry.

If anything, Dean is the step daddy. Cas is Daddy. And then there’s Uncle Sam 🤣

Sam is many things, but stupid is never one of them. Naïve maybe, trusting, desperate. But not stupid. And not crazy, this time 🤣

I will say what makes this story compelling is the fact that the Winchesters find themselves locked in a cycle of violence at the hands of their Creator, and they’re refusing to commit further acts of violence in effort to stop it all and rebel against their cruel, dispassionate maker. But they have no means to back it up…today.

Side note - Sam & Dean still don’t know about Castiel’s bargain with the Empty (kinda seems pointless since God killed Jack anyway…Cas basically fucked himself for nothing 🤦🏾‍♀️ [I know how it ends but yeah still])

It’s not about the destination though, it’s the journey (I keep telling myself that).

God said fuck y’all. Shouldn’t’ve poked the bear…now these poor innocent people gonna die like sheep to the slaughter. Y’all got a lot of cleaning up to do and with so little people to help you.

summary: what the SBI plays/acts like on a high school volleyball team

Now let’s talk about our starter’s positions

Tommy is our setter no doubt

It mainly has to do with the fact that he has the right height and hands for it

Like he’s quite tall and lanky, so it’s quite easy for him to get to the ball without disturbance and his hand’s shape are just perfect for setting 

I feel like he’s been playing forever because of his brothers

Like when he was little, he saw Wilbur and Techno playing so he was like “I want to do whatever they’re doing”

They ended up roping Tommy into their game (reluctantly) and showed him how to set because they wanted to spike

He picked setting up surprisingly quick, so he was forever their personal setter, even now– especially now

Now Tommy loves to taunt the other team, like it’s a problem

Though the rest of the team doesn’t mind because at least he takes it out on someone else instead of them (they’ve learned to ignore it anyway)

One way or another, Tommy loves to set and very good at it for how young he is

Tubbo is our libero

I mean he’s kinda tiny, but it works out for him because being tiny mean being closer to the ground

Unlike Quackity, Tubbo has been playing as long as Tommy

And like Tommy, Wilbur and Techno also roped him into it

Tubbo came over to their house one day to hang out when Wilbur and Techno we starting practice

They went “tiny man” and grabbed him before telling him to try to keep the ball off the ground when they spiked it

Conveniently enough for the brothers, Tubbo absolutely loved it to the point when he’d come over every time they’d practice to join in

Besides that fact, Tubbo can dive like no other

Like I said before, the perks of being shorter means being closer to the ground, meaning that you can get to the spiked ball faster

And on the terms of taunting the other team: he doesn’t. Tubbo is more tame, so he mainly whispers comments to himself, meaning: he doesn’t actually say it to the other team’s faces unless they’re being dicks

Technoblade would be our right side hitter

He might not be super tall but he definitely makes up for it with his build and timing skills

Unlike Wilbur or Ranboo, Techno can’t just stand with his arms up to block because he not 6’5+

So over the years he’s learned how to time when someone will spike or push the ball to the point where it’s almost impossible for him to not block a ball

He’s also been playing since he found out about the sport which actually led him to become the captain for the SBI team

During elementary school, he went to the first game his father, Phil, coached

I mean, he knew that Phil played back in highschool and college, but had absolutely no idea what it was

From the moment the game began, he knew that he wanted to play volleyball

But, like Punz, he gets injured so much

Being a right side hitter is known to cause many injuries, because of spiking, but holy shit it’s a lot

Everyone’s pretty sure he like getting injured, because whenever he starts bleeding he plays better

He’s literally been like “I can feel my nose bleeding… I love it 👹” it freaks everyone out

Wilbur plays middle, I mean look at him

This man towers over almost everyone, like it’s insane

The first time you see this man on the court, it’s absolutely terrifying

It doesn’t help that he has a 100 yard stare when he walks out onto the court

People think it’s because he wants to practically kill his opponents, but he’s really just zoning out to think of how to fluster the other team

Yeah, he’s a flirt on the court– big surprise

When he starts it up with the other team, they become so shocked by the change in demeanor that it has messed up more people than anyone on the SBI team can count

The whole team actually has a counter for how many people Wilbur’s caused to mess up because of the surprise

He gets a point almost every time, because the guys who are supposed to block him get disoriented to the point where they forget to block him

And Wil has been playing as long as Techno

The night Techno and Phil came home from the game, Techno rushed into their shared room to rave to him about the wonders of volleyball

He was so intrigued by Techno’s excitement that he decided that he’ll try it with his twin

And bada bing bada boom– a star player!

Jack plays outside hitter

He’s a very lanky guy and about average height, so those two combinations make it very easy for him to play both backrow and front row

Though, he’s mainly in the back, his build allows him to be able to jump very high if he needs to 

Like, when he first started playing, he went to jump to block and didn’t realize how high he could jump

This man near ended up on top of the net because of how hard he freaked out when he found out he had a five foot vertical

The team now calls him Spring Bean and you have Tommy to thank for that one

Now Jack like to taunt people

He tried flirting with the other team, but got humbled so fast when they just laughed at him for his attempts

He once had a big ego, now he just has hurt feelings and a slightly smaller ego

But back to taunting

He and Tommy like to gang up on other people and get very loud with it, because they’re on different sides of the court starting out

And like I said before, the SBI have just learned to block them out, because they’re absolutely obnoxious

Ranboo plays the opposite hitter

As we all know, Ranboo is a giant

And with being a giant comes the ability to block so much easier and have a massive arm on him

Because he’s so big, it’s very easy for him to spike the ball to the point where some teams have slightly coward, because of his infamous abilities

Now Ranboo discovered volleyball with the help of himself

He had to stay after school one day and heard something coming from the gym

He investigated and found Wilbur and Techno absolutely whaling the ball over the net to a poor Tubbo who was still digging them… reluctantly

He was already friends with Tubbo and Tommy’s self-proclaimed “rival” so the both of them noticed him by the gym’s entrance and had two completely different reactions

You can probably guess what they were

Anyway, Ranboo wanted to try spiking, so Tommy (reluctantly) set him up and he slammed the ball at Tubbo

Yeah, Phil begged him to be on the team

Then we have our lovely coaches Phil and Schlatt

Let’s just say that they have very different approached when it comes to coaching, but at least the ways mesh well with each other 

Phil, we love Phil

He’s our main coach, who does the majority of the coaching and training for the boys

He’s the one who will legitimately train the boys and keep them on track while Schlatt does what he does

Schlatt, the assistant coach, is mainly there to do drills

Like that’s the only reason he’s there

He loves making up drills for the team to do

They’re really helpful in the long run, but they’re an absolute pain in the ass now

Both coaches treat the team like family: Schatt’s more like that one uncle from your Dad’s side who gives you Vodka when you’re 12 and Phil treats the team like he’s they’re father (and he is to 3 of them)

Phil and Schlatt get along mostly, besides when Schlatt first started coaching and their two different coaching styles didn’t mesh yet

It wasn’t pretty

Now for how they act on court… yeah

They’re just a bunch of menices on the court like it’s not even funny

I mean: Techno and his weird blood thing… that’s enough to freak someone out let alone the rest of the team

I feel like it took the team a minute to be able to work so well together, because of all their quirks

They became fast friends, but each of them have their own monstrosity that they add to the court so the rest of the team had to get used to it

What can I say? They’re a rambunctious team.

The amount a chaos that radiates off of the SBI is enough to disorient anyone

The only team who doesn’t get seriously affected it the Feral Boys, but that’s only because they have they’re own set of quirks to practically cancel out the SBI’s

There’s a reason they’re rival teams

Now, like every team, there is some crowd favorites

And one of those players is most definitely Wilbur

He just has that charm to him that makes so many people swoon and he knows it too

Then you have Tommy who the crowd finds oddly endearing and he hates it so much, because he just wants people to think he’s tough

 It’s okay Tommy, we love you anyway

But it’s not just the boys who are rambunctious, it’s Schlatt too

Poor Phil, he has to deal with both his assistant coach and his team’s antics

He tried to hone them when he first started coaching the boys, but later realized that it was pointless and just gave up

He actually started giving them tips on how to still do what they wanted, but with a bit more class

It somehow worked, literally no one knows, but whatever

In the end, the SBI team is like one big, dysfunctional family who never let’s any other team mess with their players

They have their whole history together and it’s quite respected in the league

All they know is that everything’s all part of the game

It wasn't weird that the great Captain Hook found a woman, Emma Swan, attractive. He mostly found most woman attractive when they have a sort of bite, what he didn't expect was that it could happen if a man that was handsome did the same.

Jack was as normal as the next guy, son of the famous Prince Charming and Snow White; complete opposite in personality since he would not give a fuck about anyone's feeling if it was a life or death situation; he was a little bit impulsive too but still a great guy. When he found out there was a pirate hitting on his twin sister, who literally looks nothing like him, he decided to take action on it unlike his nice-to-the-bone father.

Captain Hook pov

I'm walking down the docks when I see a gorgeous man; he was perfectly build, had beautiful curly black hair with some stunning grey eyes that popped out because of the slight eyeliner he had on. He was wearing a pair of tight jeans and a black long sleeve shirt that still showed of his perfectly sculpted arms. Apart from all of that he was wearing some beautiful black boots.

"Aren't you jewel?", I thought while I looked at him as discreetly that I could. I guess I didn't do such a great job since he started walking my way. He didn't stop when he reached where I was standing so I instinctively started to back up until I finally was against a wall.

When he finally reaches me, I put my hands up out of instinct, well a hook and a hand, in a try of self defense but he simply grabs both and puts them on top of my head preventing movement and one of his legs ended up pressing against my crotch while he leaned over to see my face better. I can now tell that his grey eyes have specks of blue and his face was littered with freckles that just added to his beauty. What I definitely couldn't help but notice that the pressure of his knee on my crotch brought a sense of pleasure that wasn't intended by the beautiful man.

— You're quite handsome which doesn't help on threatening you but stay the hell away from my sister — the man said with a voice that just matched his look. This is bloody intoxicating.

— Mate, you may have to tell me who your sister is, aye? — I said while straining my voice slightly at the feeling of his knee moving a bit.

— Emma Swan and I'm Jack Swan — said Jack while he held eye contact in such a way that made me swallow harshly.

— I won't bother her again mate, you can trust me in that — I said while I clench my jaw harder at the feeling of his leg moving but he seemed to notice and he smirked while he moved his leg harsher making me whimper against my will.

— I believe you — Jack said before letting my hands go and walking away with a slight sway on his hips. I watched as he walked away while my eyes trained at his ass after I looked at front he floor (like in the gift). I smile to myself since I now need to woo the handsome man know as Jack Swan.

I'm taking a sip from my coffee at Granny's when I see Jack enter with Henry next to him. I can't help but overhear their conversation.

— Let me get this straight, little man. You want to check out the mines that everyone is banned from because of security issues because there might be some magical thingy that might help stop Rumple from killing Captain Hook aka Killian Jones? — asked Jack while sitting two or three seats away from me, not noticing my mere existing.

— That's correct — said Henry while he looked at Jack expecting an answer.

— So my opinion's are, get killed by Regina aka your mom because I didn't stop you, get killed by my sister aka your other mom because I didn't go with you or get killed by my nephew aka you because you dragged me to the mines? — asked Jack while Henry nodded while he looked at Jack with hope. Jack looked like he was thinking before I saw him shrug.

— I'm going with the third option, just let me change and get actual things we need in a mine. Just wait for me, here have some money and buy yourself a hot chocolate or something while you wait — Said Jack before walking off after giving Henry the money.

Some minutes passed and I see Jack with a tight white shirt and some loose military pants making me swallow hard yet again.

— Let's go little man, adventure and possible death from your uncle awaits — said Jack while he and Henry walked off towards the mines. I should probably tell the Charming's that their kid and grandchild are both going towards danger.

I finally arrive at the apartment and knock on the door. I'm received by Snow White otherwise known as Mary Margaret and Prince Charming also known as David. I can see in the background Emma Swan and Regina, or the Evil Queen, talking over a cup of coffee.

— I'm going to make it short mate's and lassie's, Henry and Jack are going towards the mines that she banned the public from going to — I said while I pointed at Regina while everyone looked at each other in what seemed to be panic.

— Well, what are we waiting for? — asked David while everyone started to leave the apartment heading towards the abandoned mines.

When we get there, the first thing we see is Henry looking around in panic until his eyes land in us where he makes a sign to follow him.

— C'mon, hurry! — said Henry as we all ran after him, following him. I can't help but wonder where Jack is.

We look around and see Henry running towards Jack whom is laying in the ground while some blood come from his head and from a big shard of cristal stabbed in his leg.

I run towards Jack and pick him up while I let the other's guide me to the hospital. I look at Jack face and see how his eyes open slightly making him stare at me. I smile at him and see how a small blush spreads though his cheeks before he closes his eyes again with a sight.

— You told on Henry and me, didn't you? — Jack asked me while his face scrunched in slight pain while he snuggled closer to my chest. I look at him and smile to myself.

— Aye, mate — I said while I kept on following the rest of the Charming's. I feel some lips in my check making me stop for a second before going back to running. I look at Jack and I see him smiling like if he didn't do anything, like if he won a game.

I stop in my tracks and give Jack a kiss. I gave him a peck but then I gave him another one and another and another until we were kissing passionately. I feel him moan quietly when I enter my tounge in his mouth and with that little insetive I started sucking and exploring every single corner of his mouth.

— Hook! Stop kissing my son and get your ass inside of the car — screamed David making me pull away from Jack's mouth with a smile and a bit of embarrassment but Jack gave me another bruising kiss while he pulled my hair and then let me run to the truck.

Looks like I won a battle but it seems Jack won the war, yet again...

Okay I can't actually answer this because I don't know, and I also don't think they'd have a cool ship name. Fans might make their own (much like how some people have custom tags for fandoms/ships), but I don't think there'd be a fandom wide used one. Just Jack x Tricks or perhaps The Captain x Tricks for when fans want to pay homage to Tricks' choice to not call Harkness by his name.

💘: Why would people love your ship? Why would people dislike your ship? How might it start debates?

People would like the ship because of the buildup between the two. Since Tricks would've been traveling with Nine, he's there to first meet Harkness. And each time he shows back up, the two would have scenes together. People would absolutely point out various times where "THE WRITERS WERE TELLING US SOMETHING HERE" and read the subtle interactions or even things that happen "in the background" of shots.

Additionally, people would like the ship because Monster Fucking. And also for the fact it's another very gay ship. While I don't think Tricks would be confirmed as trans I do think MANY fans would take how he's written and view it directly through a trans lens. And so, Harkness flirting with and wanting a (trans) man means a lot to many fans and it helps them feel seen.

People wouldn't like the ship because it feels forced and takes away from Harkness' character. Especially when demon lore is rewritten and is clunky and patchy.

Fans against it would argue that shipping Harkness and Tricks takes away from Harkness' character because it's cheap to "suddenly" have him know and love a character who's like him in some ways. Those fans would say that it completely takes away from Harkness' unique pain of being the only one who can't die amongst his various partners.

I think also people would say that everyone is making up the romantic undertones and that Harkness is only flirting because. He doesn't REALLY view him as a romantic partner.

Additionally, re: like him, fans would argue over this a lot. Fans of the ship would get increasingly mad about people saying it's stupid that Harkness suddenly got a new guy in his life that can't die. Because, technically demons CAN die. And that Tricks' story is supposed to mimic The Doctor and that Jack and Tricks have MORE in common and you should ship them because of the shared experiences

One of THE scenes that would be used as "THEY'RE LITERALLY DATING OFF SCREEN" would be something throwaway where it's confirmed they hang out when Tricks isn't with the Doctor.

But also? Everytime Tricks says Harkness' name and not his title. A favorite scene would be the one where Tricks is holding a (dead) Captain Jack and when he shoots up and goes to flirt Tricks drops him and scoffs about him being "the same as ever".

Also, the time he's absolutely flirting and Ten tells him to knock it off. Jack would make a cute little comment on "Well, dad doesn't approve. But that's never stopped me before" and the fans went fucking WILD

Like Stede's a bitchy guy (lovingly, honestly some of his funniest moments when I'm laughing with him and not at him, I love him) at some other points but he's only this much of a dick from the start to Izzy and I don't think the first couple times were even ABOUT Izzy?

Stede is being a dick for the purpose of His Reputation/Self-Steem both times isn't he? He wants the hostages back because he sees it as the clear way to prove he's an Adequate Human Person Pirate Captain and then at the bar he's in reputation building mode too! He HAS to be mean he cannot back down bc he's pumped up to be an Adequate Pirate Captain and he can't affort to lose steam. He doesn't want to fuck it up and also he's having a shit day off the ship both times. Also. He probably likes how it feels to be openly confrontational after being stuck with passive aggression being the most he's allowed himself to be so far! I get him! (He may even like that Izzy snaps back since he says so after the hostage stealing)

Afterwards yeah they're both catfighting over Ed (that "trouble in paradise" comment and Izzy's entire deal lol) or just setting each other off, but by then the dynamic has been established. Even Calico Jack has to do A Lot to get Stede to be rude to his face so openly and Stede hates him more than he hates Izzy lmao

Honestly this makes me think back to the interview W David Jenkins saying that casting Rhys was essential to getting a dickish-yet-likeable Stede, and that with all the actors they tried for the part before Rhys, the character came across too dickish to be sympathetic.

I pretty much agree with your point about Stede having something to prove, absolutely, and Izzy being the first Real Pirate he encounters brings that out of him. Stede wants to be seen as a real pirate by both his own crew and other pirates, and sure, he's a dick to achieve that. But it's so interesting considering his dickish moments with his own crew are more "catty" than anything, reactionary outbursts, sometimes funny for the audience, sometimes less so.

I do like the point about him finally being able to confront a 'bully' but considering what Stede actually sees of Izzy, I feel like Stede is projecting a lot of his own issues onto Izzy here. Is he also flirting or caught up in some good old fashioned Repression in that scene? Who knows. Maybe he wants a romaticised nemesis to play opposite him? Idk man

But I find it funny tho that you mention reputation, because the way that he treats Izzy is so oppositional to the brand he's trying to build when they encounter each other again in ep3.

He's literally The Gentleman Pirate, but he acts like anything but that to Izzy (especially in ep3 onwards).

The Gentleman Pirate, with his "kill them with kindness" attitude, has found an exception with Izzy in that scene.

Again, Stede's going Thru It at that point (but when isn't he tbh) but he's polite enough to both old-mate-behind-the-bar and Spanish Jackie, considering.

You could ague he's just giving as good as Izzy in that scene, considering the way Izzy walks into the bar and straight away is dickish to everyone else, but Stede is still considering their encounter from earlier, and is showing a lot of unfounded hostility.

It had been a while since you’d been aboard a proper ship, a month or-so. You’d never have figured it’d be a pirate ship you’d be on let alone one as infamous as the Black Pearl but there you were. Leaning over the railing slightly you looked down at the water rushing past.

James, the only reason you were even here, sat half a metre to your left. He was slumped down against the railing, legs stretched out before him. You turned your gaze to him only to see him staring at something on the other side of the deck. Following his gaze you sighed softly. Elizabeth and Jack were talking, closer than you would’ve figured they should be. Why James was watching them you could only guess. You hoped it didn’t have anything to do with his previous engagement but you knew that hope wouldn’t change the truth.

“What do you think Turner would say if he could see them now?” James asked with an undertone of bitter humour.

“I think it would break his heart a little bit,” you answered as you watched Jack’s gaze flick to Elizabeth’s lips. You hadn’t really known Will Turner back when the both of you lived at Port royal but from what you were familiar of him he definitely wouldn’t be happy with his fiancee - the woman he’d die for a hundred times over - flirting with Jack Sparrow. To make matters worse the lot of you were on your way to rescue Will.

“Hmm, suppose it would,” James said, “It’s almost ironic.”

“What’dya mean?”

“It seems dear Elizabeth had a pattern of committing to a person until someone more interesting comes along.”

You huffed in amusement. “Seems she does. Interesting doesn’t always mean good though.”

“How do you figure?” James pressed, turning his gaze up to you.

“Well, sure, Jack’s interesting by some degree but he’s also, admittedly, a terrible person. I’d much rather be with someone kind, intelligent, and reliable. Everyone’s interesting but not everyone is exciting all the time, not like Jack,” you said, staring at the Captain completely missing James looking up at you with soft eyes.

“So you don’t want excitement?” he asked.

“Not that I don’t want it, it’s not a high priority,” you said, turning again to look out at the sea, “Though I don’t think I could stand someone boring.”

“Is that why you ran?”

“Sort of,” you said. You watched as a bird flew high above the water only to tip and dive into it a moment later. “It sounds stupid but I wanted to know who I was before I became someone else’s. That and I couldn’t stand being the baker’s wife. Early morning everyday, the exact same routine, ugh. No thanks.”

James chuckled. It wasn’t even particularly funny, it was just so you he couldn’t help yourself. But he couldn’t help but think about the rest of your statement. Since he’d abandoned his rank you’d pulled him out of both figurative and literal holes, quick to brush dirt off him (though it generally did nothing to the general state of him). You’d jumped on a pirate ship with him on a whim. Back at Port Royal he’d probably spoken to you once, maybe twice, and now you were such an integral part of his life.

“I’m sorry,” he said.

You turned to him, brows furrowed faintly in confusion. “For what?”

“Dragging you into my mess. Putting you in harm’s way. For what end? My pride?”

“You didn’t drag me into anything, you asked and I said yes of my own volition,” you said, waving off his guilt, “And I don’t think you’re doing this out of arrogance. Not to say that you aren’t a bit arrogant, but, I think you’re doing it to prove that you’re not a failure, that you’re not a bad man.”

“But I did fail. Miserably for that matter.”

“Doesn’t make you a failure. Everyone fails at something or another,” you reassured him.

“Really? What have you failed at?” he asked, picking at a stray thread on his sleeve.

You thought for a moment before replying. “Nothing. Guess I’m the exception. I’m just perfect.”

James laughed. “Quite possibly.”

“I failed my family by running away,” you admitted.

“Maybe they failed you,” James suggested, drawing one of his legs back to him and resting his elbow on it.

“Why are you on this ship?” you asked. The wind whipped your shirt collar into your face from the side and you turned to face it.

“Regain my honour,” he said simply. How he was going to do that you had no clue and you hated yourself a little for knowing that wherever he went you’d follow right behind him.

“Hmm,” you hummed. He got to his feet slowly, using the railing for support before he turned to lean on it, looking out at the sea like you had been a minute ago.

“Why do you ask?”

Choosing your words carefully you answered, “What does that look like? What will your life be like once you have your honour back?”

“I’d like my job back for starters,” he said wistfully, “I reckon I made a good commodore.” You nodded in agreement. “Then I suppose I’d go back to how things were before Jack Sparrow happened.”

“Can I come?” you blurted out. He turned to look at you with what you mistook for faint horror. Oh God, oh shit, why did you say that? “I mean, just because, I’m not really a ‘sea gal’ y’know and I miss my family and not being covered in salt water all day, but obviously you don’t, like, owe me anything so if you don’t want me too that’s alright.”

He didn’t respond immediately and your heart pounded like a war drum. You’d just royally screwed yourself over. Every time you’d fantasised about spending the rest of your life with him was falling apart before you’d even told him how you really felt. Months of watching him when he was turned away and trying not to grin when he looped an arm around your shoulders all flooded into your head and you’d never felt more ashamed. Idiot. Idiot. Idiot.

“Would you?” he asked softly. You didn’t understand.

“Would I… what?”

“Come with me?”

“Wha-” You were so confused. “Yes, of course I would, James.” He nodded to himself. You frowned. “I would go to the ends of the Earth if you asked,” you whispered, “A million times over.”

James froze at your words while it took you a moment to process your vague confession. He slowly stood up to his full height before you and you felt everything in you plummet.

“You wouldn’t even need to ask,” he replied. Your eyes widened as you stared at him.

“Oh.” It was all you could manage. Two sentences and your entire life had changed. One moment was all it took.

“Indeed.” The smirk that appeared on his face had you utterly perplexed. “And here I was thinking my affections weren’t returned.”

“Well, they are, so…” you trailed off. He tipped your chin up so you were looking straight into his eyes.

“Once I have my life back, would you do me the honour of being a part of it?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll be sure not to fail this time round.”

“I’ll be right here, either way.”

Okay, here’s an idea:

Cheerleader! Davey AU: Sarah and Davey are co-captains of the cheerleading team. I think that either of them could’ve been captain alone, but they’re happier sharing the responsibility and it makes it a lot more manageable. Sarah’s really great thinking of the bigger picture: creating goals for the squad, identifying ways to grow the team/become stronger as a unit, and coming up with the overarching theme/storyline of a routine. Davey’s strength lies in the detail work - choreographing individual stunts/tumble routines, figuring out how to utilize each person’s skills the best, etc. I think Sarah’s got the mindset and heart for cheerleading, and Davey’s better at the actual athletics of it.

Davey’s a fantastic tumbler. He’s got such long legs that he can get serious height in his flips and tucks, and it genuinely seems like he’s flying. Just watching him you can tell that he could’ve gone into gymnastics competitively, but I think he prefers the team element of cheering.

Also, Spot’s also on the cheerleading team and he’s their main flyer, mostly because I want him to be. He’s easily the most competitive person on the team and regularly intimidates the opposing team’s players just by glaring from the sidelines. (He has a very aggressive Pom-Pom shake)

Jack’s the quarterback. I debated about if I wanted him to be on the football team at all for this one, but then I thought about putting Katherine on the team as well as a running back, and that sold the idea for me.

(The main friendships in this one would be Jack & Katherine and Davey & Spot)

Sidebar, kind of really feeling a Albert/Race/Spot background pairing. Al and Race would also be on the football team, and they’re constantly teaming up to flirt with Spot. Spot tries very hard to pretend that he’s not interested in them, and it almost works, except Albert manages to make him laugh, then blush, once after a really stupid joke, and then they’re both hooked.

Albert is a linebacker. Race is the kicker in honor of Ben Cook kicking himself in the face during livesies

But anyway, Jack has an extremely obvious crush on Davey, but in typical (for me) fashion, Davey does not notice. I’m not sure how close they’d be in this one, but I kinda love the idea of them having a relationship built on friendly waves in passing/quips before games/teasing & flirting with undertones of genuine appreciation and respect underneath.

Oh, I just had a thought! Jack and Davey decide to team up to finally get Katherine and Sarah together, and while they’re scheming about that, they also start to fall for each other. Because I do so love my basic tropes lol.

There’s going to have to be a least one instance where Davey ends up wearing Jack’s letterman, and I am absolutely not sorry

There’s also going to have to be a moment where, the football team and the cheer squad are warming up before practice, Jack jogs over to talk to Davey really quick while he’s doing his stretches, and Davey unknowing causes Jack’s brain to melt by doing something very flexible without breaking a sweat. Davey does Not notice that anything’s amiss.

I’m also going need there to be constant, ‘the head cheerleader always dates the captain of the football team’ jokes from literally everyone around them

The vibes for this are fluffy, goofy, idiots to lovers (x3), and Shenanigans. And lots of Ciarra pretending to know literally anything about sports, or carefully writing around it despite this being a football/cheer au lol

Meeting and Dating Oliver Wood

- Oliver... what can we say about Oliver.... Handsome, charismatic, sweet, ...and far too obsessed with Quidditch to use his very desirable traits to land himself a girlfriend.

- Truth be told: Oliver has never met a girl capable of sparking his interest enough for him to choose them over more time with his favorite sport. Well, no girl except you.

- You and Oliver first met when you were seated next to each other in one of your classes. Since you were seated together, whenever one of you had a question or had to do work with another person, you did it with each other.

- Oliver likes you. Oliver really likes you. He’s never gotten on with a girl so easily before, ...and you’re pretty; really pretty, and you don’t even care for Quidditch all that much and that somehow doesn’t even bother him!

- Every time there’s going to be a game, he asks if you’ll be there; surprising himself with how much he cares about your attendance. He feels this surge of pleasure every time you wish him good luck and he yearns to kiss you “for it” as well.

- I should probably give you guys a fair warning: Oliver may have a bit of a prejudice against you if you’re in Slytherin; considering they’re his main rival. He’d obviously prefer to date someone in Gryffindor but a Slytherin girl is the only one that would really throw his feelings for a loop.

- So Oliver has a crush on you for a fair bit of time, and he’s adorably shy about it because he’s never really had a crush on someone before. He’s lost count of how many times he’s had to look down at his paper to try and hide the blush and/or smile on his face because of something you’ve said or done.

- He first asks you out after a big Gryffindor win. You’d gone over to congratulate him before returning to the school like everyone else but before you got too far away, he’d called out your name, causing you to turn back to him.

“I was jus’ wonderin if ya’d go out with me?” He asked, to which you obviously agreed to, causing a relieved and happy smile to spread across his face.

- For your first date, the two of you sit out in the field together and talk. He confesses that he’s liked you for a while and is very happy and flustered when you say that you liked him for a while too. He also talks to you about Quidditch, though at the time, you had no idea just how much the game would come to affect your life....

- You share your first kiss a few weeks later. You’d offhandedly mentioned that you wished he didn’t have to go as he got ready for practice. He’d paused, smiling and asking “you do?”, momentarily forgetting about what he was doing.

- Soon enough, he was leaning in closer and closer before pressing his lips to yours in a soft, quick kiss. He pulled away, insisting that he really had to go and giving you a quick peck before he happily made his way to practice.

- And just like that, Oliver finally found something that gave Quidditch a run for its money.

- There’s quite a bit of Pda in your relationship; usually on the more innocent side of things. He’s a fan of being adorably affectionate with you.

- Handholding. It’s the easiest thing for him to do; especially when you’re walking together and he’s holding a broom in his other hand.

- Long hugs.

- Getting softly pulled into forehead kisses.

- Soft, sweet kisses.

- Celebratory snogging after he wins a game.

- Shutting him up with kisses; usually when he’s been talking about Quidditch for an hour. As much as you love him, you sometimes just can’t sit through hours of sports talk that you don’t even really understand.

- Where do you think you’re going? It’s his favorite thing to say when you move to get up from under his shoulder as you’re sitting on the couch together or when you’re hopping out of his bed while the two of you are/were cuddling.

- He’s the big spoon when you cuddle. It’s his favorite position since he can hide his face in your hair; away from the sun, and feel you pressed close, his arm wrapped around you and keeping you there.

- He probably consistently falls asleep on you whenever you cuddle. The two of you usually take naps together after practice or a tough game.

- His favorite nicknames for you are Angel and bunny. There’s just something so sweet and fitting about them.

- He likes when you call him captain. He thinks it’s really cute ...and hot; depending on your tone.

- You wearing his jersey is his kink. You asked if you could try it on one day, just out of curiosity, which he’d obliged and ever since, the vision of you in that damned sweater invades his mind.

- You gave him some kind of good luck charm at some point and now he won’t go through a game without it, whether it be something like a little heart drawn on his hand or a bracelet of yours.

- Cheering him on at games.

- Checking on him after he takes a tumble in Quidditch. He always insists that he’s fine but he does find your fussing to be pretty cute.

- Getting taught all the intricacies of Quidditch at length. He can talk to you for hours about it so let’s hope that you learn to like it or are just really patient/love him enough to suffer.

- Even though you may or may not be clueless about it, he still likes to run through his Quidditch ideas/plans with you; at least if you’re in Gryffindor. You find it sort of touching that he genuinely cares about your opinion.

- Oh the things that can happen on an abandoned Quidditch field....

- Letting him rant to you about Flint and the other teams or when practice is being canceled, etc.

- I’m sorry but you’re not the only one who’s dating Oliver, okay? You’re sharing him with Quidditch and you’ll occasionally have to vie for his attention against it.

- You know that Oliver has to be lowkey jacked from all of his training, right? He probably likes lifting you up while you’re hugging/kissing or throwing you over his shoulder, or chasing after you and grabbing you around the waist to spin you around.

- He likes being able to warm you up. He’s always all smiles when he takes your hands in his and/or breathes hot air on them, or when he just pulls you in close to his body.

- Dates at the Three Broomsticks.

- Laying out on the grass of the school. You’ll usually lay between his legs with his arms wrapped around you.

- Taking walks by the Black Lake together.

- Just being in the same room and enjoying each other’s company while doing your own thing.

- Sitting up in the astronomy tower.

- If you’re going to special events with him than be prepared to see a kilt. The first time you did, he told you not to laugh as he came out and you were; probably, speechless for far different reasons.

- He can always make you laugh. He’s hilarious; even when he’s really not trying to be.

- Teasing him about his accent every now and again. You’re the only one who’s allowed to do it and it’s only because you’re so cute.

- He is fully convinced that Scotland is the best place on Earth and he will not take any other answer. He promises that he’ll take you there over one of your breaks and prove it to you if you don’t believe him.

- Compliments, compliments, oh how he loves them. He jokingly pretends as though he knows how good he is, stretching out and brushing off your praise with a poorly concealed grin.

- Trying to cheer him up when his team loses a game. He’s always bummed out for at least a day but you do make him feel a little better just by being there.

- Giving him a light slap on the shoulder to stop him from saying something or to scold him when he says the wrong thing/something very unhelpful.

- Patient boy. He’s really good at explaining things to you, always giving you a soft chuckle and some reassuring words before going over whatever it is you don’t understand again. He finds your frustration to be sort of cute.

- He can always see if you’re not doing alright and softly checks in on you, giving you a little squeeze on the arm and tilting his head down to meet your eyes. He asks if you’re alright or makes you a little promise to make you feel better, usually asking “How does that sound?” before giving you a “Yeah? Good.”.

- He tries to be comforting but he’s not very good at it. It’s the thought that counts, right?

- He probably doesn’t immediately notice when someone is flirting with you but can’t stop thinking about it after you or someone else mentions it. It bothers him but on more of a itch that can’t be scratched level.

- He’s not overly protective but he does defend you if need be and likes to make sure that you’re safe.

- The two of you really don’t fight all too often but you will occasionally have one; usually solving it in the same day/same place after a few minutes of arguing. Sometimes, when he’s really mad, his accent gets so thick that you literally cannot understand him and have to stop and just say “what?”.

- You both expect the other to apologize if they’re in the wrong and he has no problem doing so. He’ll give a “‘M sorry alrigh’?”, taking you by the shoulders and giving you a small smile before pressing a kiss to your forehead.

- He doesn’t say “I love you” a ton but he does say it occasionally, usually out of nowhere when he just gets this sudden rush of realization that he is so lucky to have you.

- Look me in my eyes and tell me that Oliver wouldn’t want to make a little army of Quidditch playing babies. Why stop at one or two when you can make a whole team?

Literally no one asked but I Do Not Care, so have a more detailed description of all the important characters in the Somebody I Kissed Once AU

Katherine Pulitzer

Only child of Joseph Pulizter, the richest man in the county. He gives his daughter everything she could ever want but cares far too much about his own reputation. He puts a lot of pressure on Katherine to "represent him well", thus why she's super involved in extracurriculars, gets top grades, and has the "perfect" boyfriend.

Has been the head cheerleader since junior year and loves her team so so much. They're all best friends and just want to support each other.

Editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and the best reporter/writer on the team. Absolutely loves it and wants to study journalism in college.

Is dating Jack Kelly-Larkin. They met sophomore year, most of which they spent biting each other's heads off (affectionately, though). Jack asked Katherine out at the beginning of their junior year and she said yes. Her father doesn't actually like Jack all that much (he's weird about the fact that he's adopted) but they appear to be the "perfect couple" so he doesn't make them break up or anything.

Sarah Jacobs

Oldest child of Meyer and Esther Jacobs by about twelve minutes. Has a twin brother named David and a younger brother named Les who's in middle school. Family is Jewish because yes.

Plays the marimba in the school marching band. (Idk anything about band kid stereotypes, but this is gonna take the place of the pottery scene in the original because reasons) Mostly joined because her brother and a few other friends were in band, but she does really enjoy it. She's the pit captain but could have been drum major if she wanted to, just wanted to have time for other activities.

President of the botany club, obviously. None of her friends really get it but she loves plants and she grows fresh herbs so her family doesn't complain that she's taken over the back porch with an army of potted plants.

Is a raging lesbian and very proud of it. Doesn't exactly tell everyone about it but it's incredibly obvious to anyone with eyes. Has had a few girlfriends but no one recently.

Jack Kelly-Larkin

Middle child of Miss Medda Larkin. (someone mentioned in the discord that Jack has middle child energy and I will never not use that from now on) Has an older brother named Charlie who's in college and a younger brother named Race who's a grade below him.

Captain of the football team and is hoping to play in college. Doesn't want to go pro, but it's his best shot at getting a scholarship so he's been training hard for the past several years. Loves his team, wants them to do well because some of them do want to play professionally.

Also on the school newspaper, mostly (entirely) because of Katherine. He draws a weekly comic strip and occasionally helps take photos. Prefers drawing to photography but he has a good eye and is one of the only people who can be trusted with the camera. (he's on thin ice after the incident)

Met Katherine because Race joined the cheerleading squad and he liked watching practice. Does not know how to flirt besides being absolutely insufferable so it took a year for Katherine to agree to go on a date with him. Genuinely likes her as a person, enjoys her company, and cares about her a lot.

Buuuuuuut if a certain someone has been catching his eye lately and he's started wondering if he and Kath are better off as friends... well... there's only two months till graduation, he can hold out until then.

Antonio "Racetrack" Higgins-Larkin

Youngest child of Miss Medda Larkin and you can tell. Loves his older brothers dearly and shows them affection by being a little twerp.

On the cheerleading squad and one of the top candidates to be captain once Katherine graduates. Also does dance (ballet and tap), but loves cheerleading especially because he gets to tumble. Probably won't cheer in college so he's getting the most out of it now.

Not in any other school clubs, he just does dance with a studio in town and that's all he has time for. But, he loves going to all of his friends' stuff to watch and support them. (kinda has to be at all the football games, but he reads every word of the school paper and has a few friends in the band so he goes to all the winter concerts.)

Has been dating Albert DaSilva since the middle of sophomore year and they're that couple. So in love that even the people in relationships feel single around them. They're some of the only openly gay students in their school and the only public queer relationship. Some people are rude about it sometimes but they have more than enough friends to stand up for them and it's definitely a minority.

And if Race has noticed Katherine looking oddly jealous of him whenever Albert surprises him at practice, despite her boyfriend (who just so happens to be his brother) being about ten feet away, well... he doesn't comment on it

Other important characters I don't have the mental capacity to talk about rn:

Joseph Pulitzer - Katherine's father and well-known businessman; holds a lot of influence in town; very paranoid about his image

Darcy - Katherine's best friend of whom she tells everything; she can tell Kath's hiding something though (Darcy's a girl in this, deal with it)

Albert DaSilva - Race's boyfriend and the unofficial co-captain of the football team.

David Jacobs - Sarah's younger brother by twelve minutes; plays in the band, haven't decided what instrument yet.

Medda Larkin - Everyone's favorite person in the world; Jack and Race's adopted mother; owns the local theatre.

Alright so I’ve seen people want more female content creators, more POC content creators, more LGBT content creators within the Dream SMP and YES- I want that too- but... we should take a moment to hype up the content creators who already fit these categories!

Here is my list of the POC, LGBT, and women content creators who are regularly active on the Dream SMP and my personal takes on them and their content! So please give these content creators some love and more attention because they all deserve it so much!!!

Women Content Creators

+ Nihachu

- If you like sweet, adorable, more laid back streams than you’ll love Nihachu. Able to play around with both more playful funny moments and then be a great dramatic actor for deep lore moments as well.

+ Captain Puffy

- So wholesome and the only stable adult on the Dream SMP. She is SO funny- like her roasting Skeppy and Badboyhalo is the highlight of my day. A very fun energy and can also jump between lore and jokes like no one’s business. If you like Ranboo then I’m sure you’ll love her.

+ Hannah Rose

- I’ve only just started watching her but her streams so far have been so relaxed. She’s the perfect mixture of sweet as sugar but also sassy and able to hold her own. She gave Tommy a rose then jokingly roasted him over his constant demanding over it. Also her builds are so aesthetic and her stream set-up is gorgeous to look at.

LGBT Content Creators

+ Eret

- All of their streams are chill as fuck, literal vibes. He has the best music tastes ever and has public Spotify playlists if you ever want to hear more of her tastes. Very open about being LGBT and the chat for them is continually one of the nicest I have seen and very supportive to those coming out. Eret is a great streamer to watch when doing homework or classwork because you can watch him vibe without being too distracted unlike Tommy or Quackity’s streams.

+ Nihachu

- Please just... Nihachu in lore is so overlooked but you can clearly see the hell she’s gone through as a character and seeing her go from a starry eyed running mate of Fundy’s to a women determined to destroy Tommy and Dream for the pain they’ve caused her and her former nation... it’s so good. Also her and Jack Manifold have the best Team Rocket dynamic of all time.

+ Captain Puffy

- Captain Puffy in plot as a sweet older sister figure to all the disturbed minors is iconic and her therapy office is so cute. She is the mom friend to Awesamdude’s dad friend energy and she is equally as commited to taking down the egg so watching her continually try to avoid the Egg and help those she cares about is the best.

+ Antfrost

- Go check out Antfrost’s twitter first and formost because he and his boyfriend (Velvetiscake) pop off with every tweet. Secondly, Antfrost is generally a chaotic presence but in a much more lowkey way than most other SMP members. As a character his motivations are pretty hidden right now but him and Badboyhalo are a great villian duo. Antfrost also regularly streams Pummel Party stuff and Jackbox stuff with his other friends (and his boyfriend) which keep me in stitches. Stg if he and Velvet flirt like that on their Jackbox streams one more time I will lose it 😤 (/lh)

POC Content Creators

+ Skeppy

- He doesn’t stream often but every time he does he pops off. Also, not super involved in lore but whenever he joins he pops off. Him and Badboyhalo’s dynamic is iconic and just- so fucking funny! But also Skeppy does Youtube videos on his Youtube channel which are usually rather short but honestly so funny. He mainly trolls Badboyhalo or does like Minecraft challenge videos and as simple as that may seem he always makes me smile with his high energy and general chaotic nature while still being pretty family friendly and relaxed. Very good if you mainly watch Youtube or don’t have time for long VODs and streams.

+ Ponk

- I have only just found out about him but he is SO wonderful. His voice firstly is oddly soothing so that’s a plus but he streams frequently! And he usually streams at an earlier time than most other SMP people (aka not late at night like Quackity and shit) and he genuinely is so funny. He talks to his chat a bit more than the bigger streamers and goes between a casual, chill vibe and a specific kind of chaos that reminds me of like- when Ranboo is hyper. Please I can’t express how much I love Ponk please just watch his streams. Also Ponk in the Egg Plot makes me cry with laughter- mans is so picky “Can I have an iced mocha please?” like sir you are literally being trapped with an evil egg.

+ Quackity

- Quackity is an icon. Stream his song “Any Askers” on Soundcloud. Watch any of his Roblox, GTA, or Soap Opera streams. He shouts a lot and is high energy so he’s perfect if that’s your vibe. He sings like an autotuned angel, is so sweet about donations and gifted subs, and has amazing chemistry with everyone he streams with. Within the lore he is also an amazing actor with a really complex character and I am so glad he is getting his time to shine with his capitalist arc. Though he does tend to stream later at night.

(yet another ollie/wicks ficlet, but this one got slightly out of hand, clocking in at 1.3k for absolutely no reason, so there’s a line break. this is set during the november of bitty’s sophomore year.)

don’t treat him like a mind reader

It’s mid-November when Ollie and Wicky first notice.

They’re on their weekly coffee date at Annie’s, trading sips of each other’s drinks and proof-reading the other’s most recent paper, when Jack Zimmermann walks through the door. Ollie knows that he should probably be on a first name basis with Jack Zimmermann at this point, considering the fact that he’s their team captain and they’ve been attending the same weekly bonding sessions at the Haus since the beginning of freshman year. 

(However, it’s Jack Zimmermann, and Ollie doesn’t think he’ll ever get over the fact that he knows this guy in real life and that he’s met Bad Bob and he’s playing on the same team as someone that will be a shoe-in for next year’s Calder winner no matter which team he signs for and Ollie is an obnoxious fanboy, and this is why he largely steers clear of Jack Zimmermann, lest he embarrasses himself.)

Anyway, it’s a surprise that Jack Zimmermann is in Annie’s for 2 reasons.

Everyone knows that Jack hates paying money for coffee, when he just drinks it black (because he has no taste) and we have coffee at the Haus, why would I buy some extortionate cup of overly sweet sludge?

He’s just had his history class with Bitty, and everyone knows that Jack immediately goes back to the Haus to make his notes from lectures, because Jack Zimmermann works harder than God.

(Okay, so maybe not everyone knows these things, but Ollie absolutely does because these are crucial details in his plan to avoid Jack Zimmermann at all times.

Well maybe the coffee thing isn’t part of that plan; it’s more the fact that Jack complains loudly about it at Team Breakfast, despite the fact that he is a millionaire with more money than Ollie will ever see and can definitely afford an extortionate cup of overly sweet sludge.)

Ollie flicks Wicky’s forehead where he’s leaning over his most recent Econ essay. “Dude, what’s Jack doing here? Shouldn’t he be back at the Haus, making his obscenely perfect notes?” His eyes tracked Jack’s movements as he ordered two coffees and made his way to a table. “Hold on, is Hockey Robot Jack Zimmermann on a date?”

Wicky frowns at Ollie’s fingers as they come away from his forehead, and runs a hand through his hair. His eyes flick up to Jack’s table. “Nah, he’s probably waiting for Bitty; he’s tutoring him in French this semester.”

As if on cue, Bitty walks through the door, evidently having been challenged by Jack to a run across campus and evidently having lost, despite being the fastest guy on the team. Ollie watches as he grins at Jack and makes his way to the table, not looking at the barista once. 

“Huh,” he mutters, “you were right.”

Wicky’s head snaps up, affronted. “Why do you sound so surprised? I literally saw them here last Tuesday.”

“Why didn’t I know this then? I’m always here with you.”

Wicky rolls his eyes. “Dude, you were at that meeting with your Bio professor; the reason I was here is because I was literally waiting for you. They’d just left by the time you were done discussing carbohydrates or mitochondria or whatever it is you do in Bio.” Ollie grins at him; STEM professors always rub Wicky up the wrong way; it’s a side effect of being forced to go to a science specialist high school when you have no interest in STEM. “Anyway, I’m still trying to work out if they’re doing tutoring or tutoring.”

Ollie furrows his eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

Wicky gestures not-so-discreetly at where Bitty and Jack are laughing over their French flashcards. “Look at Bitty; are you seriously telling me that he’s not in love with Jack?”

“No!” Ollie holds up his hands. “You know that I would never deny the fact that the straight boy that Bitty is pining for is Jack, but do you really think that Jack Zimmermann, Hockey Robot isn’t straight?” Ollie watches the aforementioned Hockey Robot grin down at Bitty, eyes softer than Ollie’s ever seen them. “Actually, you know what, Jack Zimmermann isn’t straight. He looks like a fucking movie star out of the 1950s with the way he’s trying to flirt with Bitty over there.”

Wicky stares at him. “That sentence was incomprehensible, but I think I get what you mean.” 

The two of them turn to face Jack and Bitty, as their hands brush together as they each reach for another flashcard. Ollie gapes openly at how Jack Zimmermann’s face flushes red at the contact. “Fuck it, I’m just gonna ask Bitty when we’re at the Haus tonight.”

The rhythm of Beyoncé throbs through the hallway of the Haus and his feet as Ollie knocks on the door of the kitchen. Bitty’s voice struggles to reach over the music as he shouts “Come in!”

Ollie opens the door tentatively and the music goes silent. “Hey, Bitty. I was wondering if I could ask you something?”

“Of course, honey!” Bitty whirls around from where he was faffing next to the oven. “What do you-? What on God’s green Earth are you wearing?” 

Ollie glances down at the orange and white striped outfit that Shitty’s making him wear for his dibs, including fins and a tail. “I honestly don’t know. I think it might have once been a tangential joke that Holster made about Ransom being a coral reef that eventually spiralled into this hell. Wicky’s dressed as Dory if it’s any consolation.”

Bitty removes his oven gloves and places them lovingly on the stove. “It is absolutely no consolation whatsoever, but it is quite entertaining.” His eyes roam up and down Ollie’s body (a move that Ollie would have thought was flirtatious if Bitty hadn’t been quite so in love with Jack Zimmermann) and he giggles in that way that only Bitty can. “Anyway, what did you need?”

A slice of pie appears in front of Ollie on a plate. He doesn’t question it; he’s learnt not to question how baked goods suddenly materialise around Bitty.

“Oh, yeah.” Ollie takes a mouthful of pie. “Me and Wicky were wondering if Jack was like tutoring you in French, like how Wicky tutors me in Philosophy?”

(Ollie and Wicky have long since established that they don’t want to be out to the whole team, so they came up with a code word for date night that they can use with the people that know about their relationship, which is basically just Shitty and Bitty, but whatever.)

Bitty nods enthusiastically. “Yeah, exactly like that!” He takes a bite of his own pie. “He’s such a great tutor; he’s so good at French!”

Ah, that clears that up then.

Ollie grins at Bitty. “You know, if you ever want to discuss tutoring, I’m always willing to listen, and I know Wicky is too.” He stands up, wipes his mouth, and claps Bitty on the back. “Good talk.”

“Oh, was that all you wanted to know?”

“Yeah, I’ve got to get back to reenacting scenes from Finding Nemo. Just keep swimming.”

“Yeah, they’re dating.”

“Oh, thank God, for a second I thought that they were just that oblivious.”

(A year later they get a text from Bitty announcing that he and Jack were dating. 

oily: thanks for letting us know officially bro! we were happy to keep it on the dl til u were ready to come out!

candle: thanks in return for keeping our relationship a secret! we knew that you could keep it a secret!

itsy bitsy baker: how did you guys know about us?? i never told you we were dating??

oily: yh, u did??

itsy bitsy baker: 

we didn’t get together until the summer after sophmore year??

also, did you guys say you were dating?!?

candle: yeah, we told you at the end of freshman year, bro. you literally caught us making out in your room??

itsy bitsy baker: i-?? what???)
