One of my favourite Captain Tuttle moments was when he started a food fight in the mess tent.
And during this food fight he squirted some tomato ketchup at Frank. Tuttle doing that made me laugh really hard
I might post about some more of my favourite Tuttle moments in the future
What are some of your favourite Tuttle moments?

Tuttle and Marilyn episodes but they both happen at the same time
Hawkeye is running separate rackets with Trap and Charles, and he gets his wires crossed:
Tuttle ends up in Hollywood and Marilyn Monroe is pronounced a casualty of war.

there was a post about sitcoms turning into more serious shows once the characters become aware that their situation is not normal and it always made me think about mash. mash was so extremely funny, i really couldnt remember the last time i laughed as hard as i did watching the captain tuttle episode... but then, as you steadily watch the show and you get to know the characters and begin to care about them, suddenly you begin to see all the jokes and pranks and the shenanigans as this... completely and utterly desperate attempt at finding some comfort, some normalcy in an entirely awful and traumatizing situation. by season six everytime hawkeye cracks a joke it feels like its coming out of a raw place, like hes holding onto his sanity with rope-burnt hands, its just so... disheartening. the episodes remain funny of course, but the laughs feel stolen somehow. and i fuckin love it dude
