Note
The way I wanna learn so many silly hobbies!! Like I wanna be able to walk on my hands and contort and speak fictional languages, just so I can entertain people with a mystery bag of talents
But alas I am poor
no i know right. but. you do know that you don't have to pay to learn how to walk on your hands, right? or speak fictional languages? you should probably pay for a contortionist coach tho yeah

How I blend colors and fiber on my drum carder:
You will need: the carder tool of "getting the batt of the carder" some tool to comb the fiber closer to the drum and a long enough needle to get between the fine needles of the drum
Tumblr media
Also a drum carder (obviously) and some fiber of your choice in my case: 4,6 g hand dyed silk (acid dye) and 25 g south German merino (plant dyed with onion skin) (i have 100g of merino and 18,4 silk in total. Separated into 4 chunks, so i can make 4 batts. how big your batt can be depends on your carder. I can make 35g batts, but that stretches it already)
Tumblr media
Then you'll have to separate your fiber into smaller chunks. I ripped the roving in 1/4ths to make them a bit slimmer. The silk however it worked. It is quite messy from the dyeing.
Tumblr media
Now you need to prep that fiber for carding. How you do that depends on your taste and the fiber. I pulled the silk into a long pencil roving, because widening it out was tedious. With the merino it was the other way around .
If you have a pencil roving, start on one side of the carder and gently (very gently) guide it to the other side to distribute it evenly over the drum. The front drum will grab it and pull it in. Just let it to it and if fore fiber ends up on one part of the drum then the other. It's no big deal
Tumblr media
If you widen the fiber out make Shure it is thin. I once heard that you should be able to read a newspaper through it. Important is, that it is not to much. Otherwise you have to work harder to get the fiber through AND you risk bending the needles and break your carder in the long run. ( I separated the 1/4th rovings in the middle to make two shorter parts)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Repeat that until all your fiber is on the drum. From time to time fiber gets stuck on the front drum. That means the back drum is getting to full. You can combat that with a hand card and card the fiber on the drum (mind the needles and their directions)
Tumblr media
Next you pull the batt of the carder and make a picture for your blog
Tumblr media
Now you basically repeat what you have done the first time. Ripp it apart
Tumblr media
Pull it into a slimmer card band
Tumblr media
Feed it to your carder from one side to the other
Rest of this will be in the reblog, got to the picture limit 😬

My thoughts on drawing wings (an unofficial tutorial)
Do you want to get better at drawing your favorite winged character? Do you have winged OCs? Just want to learn something new? I can't promise this post will help, but maybe it'll give you some helpful tips.
I know, I knowww, wing tutorials have been done to death. I don't care. This was initially inspired by a conversation on twitter, but actually I've wanted to write down my notes on the topic for a long time lol. Basically wings are one of my special interests so it's very important, for me, to draw them both nicely and also realistically.
On that note, let me first show you my resume *distant sound of floodgates opening*
Tumblr media
Like what you see? Read on! (Oh, and I will only be covering feathered/avian wings bc those are the type I know best.)
Now, I'm not here to give you a step-by-step guide on wing anatomy and aerodynamics, because there are plenty of other resources that cover this already, and I'll list my faves at the end of the post. Right now, I'm going to give you some easy guidelines and tricks that I wish more artists knew.
1: Wings do, in fact, have bones (crazy, I know) and are actually very rigid because they have to support the weight of a living creature. There are some positions you cannot physically force a wing into irl.
Tumblr media
2: Flight feathers are not placed willy-nilly on the wing, because then they wouldn't catch the air properly. Again, like the bones, they are rigid and strong, so don't draw them like fur or ribbons. All wings have the same pattern of feather placement, with slight variation depending on species. If you learn the feather sections, it will automatically improve your drawings a lot.
Tumblr media
2.5: Feathers overlap each other like a handful of playing cards, and this looks different depending on which side of the wing you're drawing. They always do this unless they're extremely untidy.
Tumblr media
3: The size of the wingspan is important if you're going for a more realistic design. There is no "scientifically accurate" measurement when it comes to fictional creatures, but my general rule is when in doubt, you probably need to make them bigger. Personally, for my original winged human species, I give them wings that can be up to 12 feet long each (the artistic sacrifice is that it's really hard to fit the wings on the dang page lmao, so make your own call).
Tumblr media
4: Get used to drawing folded wings. Most of the time, birds keep their wings folded because it prevents them from getting damaged and it conserves energy. The trick is to get good at visualizing how the joints bend and overlap (look at plenty of photos!) In general, they can fold much tighter than you think.
Tumblr media
5: Wings and feathers take a lot of patience to draw, but the results are worth it. I've seen so so many incredibly beautiful and skillful artworks that are---well, maybe not ruined, but still negatively affected by a pair of wings that look like an afterthought, or not even like wings at all. You have no idea how much a little extra time and practice will add to your work until you see for yourself.
Tumblr media
Finally, some notes on "stylized" wings: Of course it's perfectly ok to draw more simplified/cartoony wings if that's your preference!! BUT there is a difference between a stylistic choice and a lack of effort/poor understanding of the subject matter. Even cartoonists have to learn the fundamentals of realism so they know how to make their designs logical and appealing. Here are some examples of more stylized wings that I feel retain the core principles of anatomy/aesthetics:
Tumblr media
And last but not least: A list of helpful links I use personally for reference and inspiration!
I made this pinterest board for general artsy inspo, and this board to curate my very favorite tutorials/refs/information, focusing on the scientific aspect of wings and flight in general. Feel free to use both! (I also suggest pinterest in general for pose refs and such, but try to only practice using photos at first and not other drawings.)
I highly recommend this blog and this blog if you want examples of artists who draw more realism-based winged creatures!! They are both huge inspirations for me and I think you should totally follow them even if you don't plan to draw wings lol <3
If you're REALLY serious about it, my favorite ref books are: Winged Fantasy, a lovely drawing book by Brenda Lyons; Proctor & Lynch's Manual of Ornithology; and Angelus vincens by R. Spano, which is essentially an artbook by someone who (I believe) designed biologically plausible "angels" for their senior thesis.
Ok, idk how to end this lol but I hope it helped! I know it's not my normal kind of post but I'm super busy with college stuff rn and this was all I had time for. If you guys have any questions or feedback, please let me know!!!

The Care Package II
Got your first, shiny new gacha character you were working oh-so-hard to get? That's great! Don't know how to care for it? No worries! This guide will have you covered!
-
Summary: not doing this, its in part 1 here, this post has Aventurine and Sunday. The previous one has Dr. Ratio and Argenti. Have fun reading !
-
The Gem-Deluxe Package
You receive a lavishly decorated box at your mail! It is covered in jewels and black ribbon, and similarly to the Red Rose Package, users may experience difficulty in unboxing Aventurine from his gift box. Please watch this tutorial in case you are unable to do so aswell.
The gift box is lined with a soft material, and several, smaller layers that act as a makeshift bed for your sleeping Aventurine. Please let your Aventurine wake up on his own accord, or you may halt his growth process from Beginner to Intermediate by communicating urgency if you wake him up too soon. When Aventurine wakes up, he will make his presence known very well, and he will naturally call out to you regardless of wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
Aventurine comes with a unique combination of accessories that are specific to each model – thus a specific user manual is provided for each of his items. You may receive either one of the following SSR items; Gold Coin [I], Pack of gold Cards [I], Small Aventurine Stone [II], Teal Peacock Earring [I]. Please note you may only be able to request another copy with your specific user manual when you open the package - if you are unable to find it, search Aventurine's pillow or ask him about it. Some users express their delight at Aventurine's tricks of hiding certain things, but it is advisable to warn him of certain valuable items before he hides them to entertain his user.
Aventurine may seem as though he does not mind being picked up in any way, however, he wishes to be held with great care. Please hold out both of your hands so he may feel cared for, and wait for him to feel comfortable enough to climb onto your hands. Aventurine may tell you it doesn't matter, but it is advisable to take great care and consideration of his emotional and mental wellbeing regarding your actions towards him.
Beginner Aventurine enjoys enclosures that are bright with natural light and open, but also safe and guarded well. You may keep him near your windows, on your bed, or any designated spot where he is free to explore that is well-illuminated. However, if he is picked up in the middle of his exploration process, he may whine and sarcastically compliment your furniture.
Beginner Aventurine is more personally closed off, so users are advised to be patient. He is, however, comforted by the sight of beautiful jewels, a comfortable bed, and warm food [Please refer to Care Package for accessories, especially regarding jewels. You do not need to buy real diamonds to impress Aventurine.].
The longest stage is the Beginner stage, so users may not be pleased with the delay in level up when it comes to Aventurine. He is not comfortably accustomed to change. It is advised he grows according to the rate he deems fit. However, the new Companion Feature allows Aventurine to interact with Dr. Veritas Ratio, and Aventurine's level up may be encouraged further if he witnesses Veritas Ratio level up, or receive his advice and help. Users are advised to supervise their interactions closely, as Intermediate Aventurine and Advanced Veritas Ratio are prone to petty arguments.
Intermediate Aventurine shows not much difference with the later stages of Beginner Aventurine, however, he may start interacting more openly with his user. He will frequent your personal space, initiate more friendly conversations and become inquisitive about your personal life – please tell him all about your Friends and Family. Aventurine feels closer to people the more he knows about their personal relationships. Users are also encouraged to compliment Aventurine whenever he decides to explore an area he tends to avoid – this will level up Aventurine's premature skill “Lost and Found [I]” to “Observe and Retrieve [II]”. Aventurine may find objects of precious value to user that may have been lost before, and will help the user find misplaced items with greater ease. It also supports the continual growth until he reaches Advanced level.
At the Advanced Level, Aventurine finds it very easy to accustom to User's routine. His skill may also level up from “Observe and Retrieve [II]” to “Initiate and Succeed [III]”. Advanced Aventurine will be more open to user and relay his personal feelings without hesitance. He may also choose to be called Kakavasha at this stage [Our users are informed that Kakavasha was the name of the previous model Aventurine is currently based upon, and to not fear any errors]. Aventurine at this stage may grow exponentially overnight depending on how deep the bond between him and his user is. If you reach a close bond level, Aventurine grows up to a size of 5’6-5’7 overnight, and delight in his own growth. Users are advised to prepare in advance once Aventurine reaches Intermediate stage.
Congratulations! You now have a full grown Aventurine, who may choose to go by Kakavasha in private. Aventurine is extremely skilful in managing the user's finances and personal relationships, offering advice and deciphering actions of others around his user. However, Aventurine is prone to safeguarding seemingly invaluable things, such as handwritten notes, old jewelry the user may have wanted to discard, and frequently visits the user's personal space. Aventurine, however open he may be, still hides some of his personal feelings. Users are advised to be comforting and patient with Aventurine, and oblige with his unsure nature regarding trust and belongings. Aventurine is prone to Neglect [IV], and users are heavily warned to never ignore Aventurine, especially in times of need or when quarrels occur. You may comfort him during your busy schedule by offering him handwritten notes of small reassurance, or provide him with the Gold Card Pack provided within the Care Package.
-
The Raven Package
The box is very fragile, and contains many pieces of accessories, so please do not shake it. It is light blue in colour, and is adorned with a small golden brooch the user may keep as a decorative piece. Inside, you receive a transparent box encasing a sleeping Sunday, and a plethora of neatly arranged accessories beside him. Please handle it with great care.
Sunday does not mind being woken up, but he will be displeased if you let him sleep too much. You may use the clockie accessory to wake Sunday up at an appointed time.
Handle Sunday with dignity! Users are advised to not haphazardly hold Sunday, he holds himself in high regard and does not like being carried with impropriety. However, users may occasionally hold Sunday by the back of his collar like the scrunch of a kitten, for short durations of time.
Beginner Sunday requires a well-organised area with neat schedules and planners. He prefers yellow-lighting and if the user has a study lamp, Sunday may occasionally nap under it. He is open to talking but will maintain an ample distance with his user; but do not be discouraged. Beginner Sunday may become more open if the user manages to help him to their haircare products and share tips on preening his wings.
Intermediate Sunday is a bit difficult to deal with, according to user experiences. Sunday may demand more attention and become more meticulous with manner and speech. He may advise the user in their appearance and presentation. However, Sunday does not mean ill. He is simply trying to help his user. If the user becomes agitated due to his constant advice and expresses their feelings, Sunday may enter Sulking [II], and hide in his gift box. You may comfort your Sunday by arranging his accessories Conference Table Prop 2, Office Chair (8), and Sandpit Prop 1, Musical Instrument Violin Prop 2 and Documents Prop, and asking him to check the current layout which will lure Sunday out of Sulking and into Curiosity.
Intermediate Sunday may experience difficulty reaching the Advanced level, so we advise users to be more supportive during this stage. Sunday may act irrationally or out of character, and pace around in a space, supervise you constantly, meticulously manage seemingly insignificant things, and try to manage things by himself, which will leave him prone to Overworking [II] and Exhaustion [I]. You may comfort Sunday by offering reassurances and feeding him small, sliced strawberries, or sweets.
Advanced Sunday becomes much easier to handle. Sunday will become self-sufficient and engage in many conversations, mainly pertaining to your duties and responsibilities and help you become more efficient at them. Sunday specialises in Planning [II] which greatly supports the skill Initiate and Succeed [I]. He will also greatly help the user form connections and relationships, giving them social advice. However, at this stage, Sunday is also prone to Overworking [III] and Loneliness [I], which affects him in a greater degree than Intermediate Sunday. The user has to directly engage with Sunday and lure him out of work actively, and provide long hours of company.
Congratulations! You now have a full-grown Sunday. He may grow up to 5’6-5’7, and does not require much maintenance. You may request a copy of accustomed accessories with the appropriate specific manual provided in the care package. Sunday's Companion Feature works greatly with Robin, and it creates more resistance to Overworking [II], [III] and Loneliness [I], and helps him feel less lonely. However, users are warned to not use this Companion feature with Aventurine or Dr. Veritas Ratio, as it may create animosity between them and stunt Sunday's growth, along with weakening his resistance to Overworking [III] and deleveling his skill, Planning [II] to Planning [I].

genshin men as types of influencers—part two
part one
cyno has a prank channel, but “prank” is a loosely-defined term. sure, he acts like everything he’s filming are pranks, but are they really? he laughs at them meanwhile the person being pranked ends up more confused than anything else. the ends of the videos include an in-depth explanation as to why the prank is funny and why the audience should be laughing (they’re still not).
dottore has a very bland account dedicated to his research and experiments. this includes hours long, unedited videos of him going through the procedure, and barely explaining anything at all. he doesn’t get a lot of views, except for one random video with millions of views, likes, and comments. it’s definitely not pinned on his channel either.
albedo also has an account dedicated to his experiments, except that his videos are more like tutorials. he’ll explain the procedure, what materials you’ll need, and go through step-by-step on how to set up and complete the experiment. struggling high school and college kids love him, and he even takes his time to respond to some comments.
heizou is the host of a true crime podcast. what started out as him bragging about his escapades turned into biweekly uploads about true crimes around teyvat. sometimes he’ll bring on co-hosts, other times it’ll just be him. heizou knows the ins and outs of the detective side of things, and he’s such a naturally-gifted narrator that he’s swiftly amassed a legion of loyal fans.
tighnari has an account dedicated to nature and the environment. you’ll find several videos of animals, wilderness survival guides, and even a glimpse into his own day in the life. he most certainly has a couple rants about travelers and adventurers getting a little too friendly to hostile animals—he tells his audience to learn from their mistakes, no matter how funny the story may be.
kazuha posts pictures of short videos of his travels over teyvat, and his account is very aesthetically pleasing. he has an overall neutral color scheme and the photos he takes breathe serenity and peace—even if his day-to-day life can sometimes be anything but. he always includes where he’s currently visiting and comments on the county in the caption.
lyney posts card tricks. he is able to captivate his audience with such tricks, even fooling the most keenest of eyes. his shuffling is also impressive; can he split the deck and have the cards arranged in whatever order he wants in under a minute. his audience begs for a tutorial that lyney will never give—a magician never reveals his secrets, after all.

It's finally time for the February summary!
And you NEVER guess who won again!
Richarlyson

Be really into bugs
Have a dinosaur hyperfixation

Be able to name every local animal species by name

Eat flowers and judge them by color and taste
Make Valentine's day cards for everyone on the island

I'm glad to see her higher up on the list this month! I can't wait to see if her model gets redesigned, I'm confident it will look awesome.
Chayanne
Tumblr media
Coming in just under his sister with 4/58 polls, Chayanne has been voted most likely to:
Be concerningly excited to go fishing
Read Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War'
Play the drums
Make a pillow fort to comfort a sibling after a nightmare
He may have come in lower this month, but I'm sure he's happy his sister is getting the attention.
Ramón
Tumblr media
These next three are tied, with 3/58 polls won! Ramón has been voted most likely to:
Get really into Hide and Seek
Be on tech for Tallulah's musical
Join Richas in the plot of 'The Parent Trap'
Leonarda
Tumblr media
With 3/58, Leonarda has been voted most likely to:
Pretend to be a werewolf on the full moon
Be raised by Wolves
Wear Heelies
Empanada
Tumblr media
Now the last with 3/58, Empanada has been voted most likely to:
Sew cool outfits for her siblings
Exclusively eat poptarts in the morning
Have a sugar crash from all of the Valentine's day candy
I'm noticing a theme with those three.
Pomme & Chunsik
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, Pomme and Chunsik did not win any polls in February. While Chunsik is the newcomer, Pomme hasn't won a poll yet! Although after that wonderful Paintball poll, I imagine that will change for March! Better luck next time, my complimentary-colored eggs.

Tumblr media
Summary: Y/n and Kaz bond over magic tricks.
Warnings: I’d say ooc but we all know kaz is a nerd when it comes to magic tricks. Also, I explained how two sleight of hand tricks work. The pen vanish, which Kaz performs during season two of Shadow and bone (pic above) and, raise rise, a famous sleight of hand trick. So if you don’t want to know how those two work, I recommended skipping this fic.
Note: If you wanna learn any of the tricks, the vanishing pen trick is easy and there’s a lot of tutorials out there. It only requires practice and angles. For Raise rise, the creator is selling the “tutorial”. It’s not very expensive, and in my opinion it’s worth it and a really good party trick.
As the sound of shuffling cards filled the dimly lit room, Kaz Brekker sat across from y/n, his eyes trained on her hands with a curious glint. He had always admired her dexterity, but little did he know that her skill went beyond mere nimbleness of fingers. Y/n had kept her abilities as a magician hidden from the entire crew of the Dregs, including the infamous Kaz Brekker.
"What trick are you going to show me today, Kaz?" y/n asked, her voice tinged with playful anticipation.
Kaz smirked, a mischievous glimmer dancing in his eyes. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pen, holding it up for y/n to see. "Today, I'll teach you a little trick I learned when I was younger. It's a classic, really."
He demonstrated, swiftly flicking his wrists, causing the pen to disappear. With a sly smile, he slowly opened his hand, revealing an empty palm. "See? The pen vanishes right before your eyes."
Y/n chuckled softly, her fingers tracing an invisible pattern on the cards on the table. "Ah, yes. I remember when I first learned that trick. Although, I’ll admit, I couldn’t quite get the pen to flick back correctly for a while. I kept using to much strength and the pen kept flying off."
Kaz raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Is that so? I've never heard you mention your interest in magic before."
She shrugged casually. "Well, I suppose everyone has their secrets, don't they? But since we're sharing tricks, how about I show you one I've perfected?"
Intrigued, Kaz leaned back, giving her the stage. Y/n picked up the deck of cards she was previously playing with and shuffled them in a skilled and professional manner, the movements fluid and precise. Once satisfied with the shuffle, she held the deck in her hand and took the card from the top, showing it to Kaz.
"Well, that's not a very good trick," Kaz commented, feigning disappointment.
Y/n chuckled, her laughter filling the room. As she laughed, she carefully placed the card in the middle of the deck, allowing a portion of it to stick out just enough for Kaz to see its position. She then proceeded to make a cut between the card sticking out and the bottom of the deck, so the card sticking out could be at the bottom and not the middle.
Undeterred, y/n began flicking her wrist upward, each motion causing the card to move incrementally higher within the deck. Kaz's eyes widened as he observed the impossible, the card rising through the deck as if defying gravity. Y/n's fingers danced with practiced precision, the card inching its way to the top.
With a triumphant smile, y/n revealed the top of the deck, showcasing the returned card. "Ta-da! The card has returned to its original place."
Kaz stared in awe, his skepticism replaced with fascination. "How did you do that?" he asked, his voice filled with wonder.
A coy smile played on y/n's lips as she uttered the words Kaz himself often used. "A good magician..." y/n started "...never reveals their secrets," Kaz finished, his admiration for her talent growing with each passing moment.
Y/n continued to amaze Kaz, showcasing an array of tricks with cards, coins, and even small objects she made disappear and reappear at will. Each time, Kaz marveled at her finesse, the way she effortlessly deceived the eye and brought wonder into the room.
As the evening wore on, y/n and Kaz shared their hidden magic tricks, delighting in the joy they found in these illusions. The bond between them deepened, their shared secrets and the enchantment of their tricks creating a connection unlike any other.
“You really want to know how the Raise Rise trick works, Brekker?” Y/n waited for a couple second for Kaz to either deny or accept the offer. After a quick nod from the man himself, she held the deck in her hand and began to explain the Raise Rise trick.
“Ok then, this is how the trick works,” y/n began, her voice filled with excitement. “First, I’ll show you the top card, just like before. After showing it to you, I’ll place it in the middle of the deck, sticking out slightly, so we can keep track of its position.”
Kaz nodded, his eyes fixed on y/n’s every move.
“Next, watch closely,” y/n continued. “As I perform a cut, I’ll be carefully switching the position of the card sticking out with the one below it. This allows the original selected card to move back to the top of the deck while the switched card is now the one sticking out.”
With a swift motion, y/n performed the cut, executing the subtle switch seamlessly but slowly so he could see what she was talking about. Kaz’s eyes focused intently, trying to catch any hint of the sleight of hand.
“Now, every time I flick my wrist, my thumb pushes out a new card to stick out, while my index finger makes the previous card go back in,” y/n explained. “The key is to execute these movements quickly and smoothly, ensuring that the switch is imperceptible to the audience’s eyes.”
With practiced finesse, y/n flicked her wrist, causing the card to rise slightly. She repeated the motion, each flick elevating the card higher within the deck. The illusion of the card defying gravity took hold, captivating Kaz’s attention.
“You see, Kaz,” y/n said, her voice filled with satisfaction. “By swiftly alternating the movement of the cards, I can create the illusion of the selected card rising through the deck until it reaches the top again, even though it has been there for some time now.”
Kaz’s awe and admiration were evident on his face as he watched the mesmerizing display.
“Now it’s your turn, Kaz,” y/n said, handing him the deck. “Give it a try.”
Kaz accepted the deck, feeling a mix of excitement and determination. He observed y/n’s graceful movements, committing them to memory. Holding the deck in his hands, he prepared himself to execute the trick.
With a flick of his wrist, Kaz revealed the top card to y/n, mirroring her earlier demonstration. However, as he attempted the cut, his gloved fingers fumbled, causing the cards to slip from his grasp and scatter across the table.
Undeterred, Kaz let out a frustrated grunt and gathered the scattered cards, determined to try again. He meticulously reshuffled the deck, his focus unwavering. Once more, he lifted the top card to show y/n and attempted the cut. But once again, his fingers failed to execute the maneuver with the necessary finesse.
A sense of disappointment gnawed at Kaz as he made several more attempts, each one resulting in failure. The smooth flow of the trick eluded him, and he let out a long sigh of frustration, finally giving up.
Y/n reached out and slightly placed a comforting hand on Kaz’s gloved one, her voice filled with empathy. “It’s alright, Kaz. The cut can be challenging, even for the most skilled magicians. It takes time and practice. Don’t be too hard on yourself.”
After that night, Kaz spent weeks practicing tirelessly. He analyzed every failed attempt, dissecting the intricacies of his movements and making subtle adjustments. The deck became an extension of his being as he honed his skill, his gloved fingers growing increasingly deft.
One night, as the moon cast a silvery glow upon the city, Kaz burst into y/n’s room, his expression a mix of exhilaration and triumph. “Y/n, I’ve done it! I can finally perform the trick!”
Y/n’s eyes widened with anticipation, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. “Show me, Kaz.”
With a calm yet purposeful demeanor, Kaz picked up a deck of cards and expertly shuffled them. His gloved hands moved with a newfound grace and precision, a testament to the weeks of relentless practice. The deck seemed an extension of his being as he held it steady.
As he lifted the top card to show y/n, a spark of excitement danced in his eyes. He carefully placed the card in the middle of the deck, executing the cut flawlessly. With a flick of his wrist, he initiated the sequence of movements, each one executed with absolute control.
Card after card rose and fell with seamless fluidity, defying the laws of gravity as if dancing to an otherworldly rhythm. Kaz’s fingers moved with practiced elegance, every flick and shift executed with unyielding precision. And then, in a crescendo of astonishment, the selected card resurfaced at the top of the deck.
Y/n applauded, her voice filled with genuine admiration. “Kaz, you’ve done it! You’ve mastered the Raise Rise trick!”
A sense of accomplishment washed over Kaz as he met y/n’s gaze, his usually stoic expression softened by a proud smile. “Have you got any other incredibly hard tricks for me to learn, y/n?”
As y/n took the cards from his gloved hand, she said “this is called Ascanio Spread”
