Early in the morning 5:00am. We got here by taxi from LKF. The last day in HK, as I didn't think too much, from the day I decided to go to Australia for working holiday until visa approved, booked my ticket, to everything got ready was just in 3 weeks. I wasn't afraid to go on my own, didn't plan anything, didn't know where am I gonna stay, what am I gonna do. The only thing in my mind was "it's ok, knowing English and you will survive." However, the Aussie accent was just way too different from what I hear back home. That wasn't easy at all to understand what people saying, more often that people thought I couldn't speak English and yea I was like a idiot lol.

So the only person I know in Australia, thanks to him waiting at the airport and took me to the hostel in Burwood, inner suburb, heaps of Korean and Chinese living there. It wasn't easy to find a job, plus I had no idea what documents is needed, didn't even have a CV. After that, I realised people using Gumtree literally searching for everything.
Tumblr media
And so I found the first job as a flyer girl:') Hourly pay was 20AUD, cash in hand. I guess I was lucky as I heard some café offers 12AUD per hour.

Sunny weather and the beach. I truly love Bondi Beach. While I was paying $220 per week with two another roommates, huh.... True one of the most expensive place to stay. But I must say it was worth to pay, at least I could walk to work, to beach.

Swiss and German. So much fun while staying in Kings Cross. I had met many people from different countries , it was the best experience when you were first time to leave home for long, stayed in a new place, and you had no idea what's going on, nothing that you can rely on. The only way was to get involved in the group. And it will never be the same as the first time.

Good old days, when you had the best team to work with, doesn't matter where we from, we all proud of being a backpacker, as we are the legends XX

Hey folks! December is here and we all know what that brings right? Holiday!!! It’s the month of Christmas, it’s the month of a New Year’s eve, and the perfect time to take a breather from your hectic work schedule. New Year’s is certainly worth planning for a family travel trip. It’s time to make your festivities memorable.
But which is the best place to go celebrate a new year? Which is the best place to be when the clock strikes midnight on December 31st? We’ve scouted some wonderful destinations around the world where hearing the midnight gong is a surreal experience. From the beaches of Rio de Janeiro to Berlin’s Brandenberg Gate, there are some iconic destinations on our handpicked list. We will cover one destination each day this month starting from today. Expect epic fireworks display, all-night dance parties, one-of-a-kind cultural traditions and lot more.
All You Need To Know About Quick Travel Loan
Travel Season
We millennials love to work (or at least pretend to). We are so engrossed in our daily tasks, PPT presentations, client meetings, smoking breaks, unending gossip that we forget about the more important things in life, such as family, friends, pets and pizza.
Many of us promised our family that we would go on family vacation by the end of this year. Some of us might opt for spending the start of 2019 in a different country. Some might want to see the sun rise in the east (literally) or some would prefer ogling at the fireworks of Burj-Al-Dubai. We all have our individual plans and travel itinerary to follow.
Some of you might want to go on a world tour perhaps. Whatever the reason for the travel or whichever destination you want to visit, you will need funds. It is not easy for salaried individuals to keep aside some form of travel funds when there are so many priority expenses to cater to. So, what do salaried individuals do in order to go on a holiday? Apply for a travel loan of course.
What makes a travel personal loan so perfect for salaried millennials?
Travel Loan at Loan Singh
The unsecured aspect of a travel loan in itself makes it a potent financial solution in times of travel cash crunch. Suppose you remove the offline paperwork, delayed verification, repeated trips to the bank and delayed approval, from the travel loan availing process.  And then you turn the process online, with only 3 documents (to be uploaded), an approximately 5-minute application process and doing all this from the confines of your home. These features, my friends, make an online travel loan even faster to avail.
An online travel personal loan is a fantastic option during times of sudden travel plans. Sometimes, your savings might not cover the cost of a complete travel holiday. You might sometimes need to supplement your emergency travel fund with a shot of cash from other sources. It is true that a number of traditional lending institutions provide travel loans. But, isn’t an online travel personal loan synonymous with quick, instant and requiring less paperwork?
So, what’s the best source of travel funds to plan a sudden ‘zindagi milengi na dobaara’ travel trip? How can you travel the world with the least of hassles and no tension? How to apply for an instant travel personal loan? Are there any online travel personal loan providers in India? The single answer to all these questions is Loan Singh.
Which are the popular beach destinations in the world?
Travel Loan Features
Travel loans are a type of personal loan. These are provided to salaried professionals who are seeking funding for travel. More and more millennials are opting for online digital lending platforms to apply for travel loan. These platforms marry the instantaneous facet of online lending along with the swift backend processing of credit underwriting.
A simple travel loan application process is further coupled by instant e-approval based on credit worthiness. Even applicants with no credit score can apply for a loan, albeit with a 6-month salary credit. Thanks to travel loans at Loan Singh, millennials can now avail up to 10 Lakh for travelling to some of the most gorgeous and stunning locales around the world.
With travel personal loan being secured in nature, you do not need any collateral, guarantor or security. The travel loan can be used to cover travel (airfare, train, bus, Uber, Ola cab etc.), sightseeing, pilgrimage, accommodation, tours, excursions and shopping. Travel personal loan can be used for either domestic travel holidays across India or a foreign trip to go see the world.
Need funds to go see any part of the world or explore India?
Travel To Sydney
There are 2 reasons why Sydney Australia is the perfect place to celebrate New Year’s eve with your family – Firstly, Sydney is the first major city in the world where the clock hits midnight. Secondly, it puts on the world’s largest display of fireworks. One set of fireworks go off at 9 pm and the other one at 12 pm. A waterfront show at the Sydney Harbour Bridge attracts viewers from all over the world. Aerial acrobatics, water show, Harbour of Light parade, flotilla of more than 40 illuminated boats, Aboriginal smoking ceremony and a spectacular air show fills you with a vibe that you won’t experience anywhere else in the world.
In case you do have time to explore Sydney post the New Year’s celebration, we are glad to discuss in brief, some prominent places to visit at Sydney Australia. First up, the Sydney Opera House. I mean, it’s clearly one of the most famous monuments in the world. Take lots of selfies and enjoy the ambience.
The Bondi beach is a famous beach in Sydney for beach surfers. If you visit Sydney early, maybe during the Christmas week, then you will find the beach filled with backpackers. Try the coastal walk between Bondi and Coogee. The Sydney Harbour Bridge or the ‘Coathanger beach’, is the perfect place to go on a bridge walk. Closer to the bridge is a place known as ‘The Rocks’. It is a 5-minute walk from the Circular Quay. Here you get to learn about Australia’s prison system thanks to the Justice & Police Museum. The market close by lets you shop till you drop. The shops, galleries and cobbled streets really give you a glimpse of Australia’s roots.
If you are interested in ogling at wild animals, then the Sydney Zoo is the perfect place. Located at the Darling Harbour, the massive zoo plays host to the Big 5 – Wombats, Platypusses, Crocodiles, Koala’s and Kangaroos. The zoo is divided into various sub-dens such as The Devils Den, Gumtree Valley, Nightfall, Butterfly Tropics and Kangaroo Walkabout. Staying with ecosystems, the Sydney Aquarium is a cool place to checkout too. You get to witness sharks, rays, penguins and a whole lot more.
Get up close and personal with some of your favorite celebrities by visiting Madame Tussauds. Another must visit place in Sydney is the Sydney Tower Eye. It offers a 360-degree view of entire Sydney. Getting back to the beaches, Manly Beach is perfect to not just experience the sun, sand and sea, but also indulge in some local market shopping. The Powerhouse Museum houses pieces from Australia’s rich history and culture. The Hyde Park (named after the namesake from London), is a nice place to chill out, with the popular Archibald fountain close by too.
Some places that deserve your visit are The Royal Botanic Garden for exploring the beauty of a blooming garden, the Art Gallery in New South Wales for getting a chance to look at some contemporary pieces of art and many more.

a way to journey cheaply In Australia
Tumblr media
i've lost song of how many people which have advised me that Australia is an pricey location to tour. They need to be dwelling the luxury life-style if it really is the case. Australia, if something turned into one of the most inexpensive places i have ever travelled spherical, a lot in order that I made bucketloads of money when i used to be there, indeed sufwiwireless to take four months off work. human beings, and wi-fically young backpackers are really going to the incorrect spots, or possibly unwell-knowledgeable, badly organized or in reality spending money within the wrong way. right here's 12 reasons to prove the parable incorrect, all from my personal enjoy of living in Australia:
camping out - reasonably-priced and pleased
1. slumbering - although hostels are wonderful, Vape Shop South West take a break from them. don't be spending your complete time in hostels getting inebriated! tenting is the wi-fi alternative for journeying cheap in Australia. A tent may be bought for $15 - 20 and some nights you may camp out without cost. Make it your private home for the next few months as you "backpack" spherical the land down beneath. most campsites have bathrooms and showers, lots of them are even near places where you can get part time/brief jobs.
2. consuming - in case you insist on consuming out - then head to pubs that do $10 steaks and such offers. They regularly throw in a beer or a smooth drink for this. one of the hints I used even as in Australia is tracking pubs that did cheap massive meals and the instances they apply. i found that most of them are lunchtime specials. wherein case, it's infrequently a big deal to switch your foremost meal of the day from dinner to lunch. consume cereals and toast for breakfast. do not be afraid to undertaking into Hungry Jacks or McDonald's for a cheap breakfast either. Hungry Jacks also provide limitless rewi-fills - take your flask in. they're now not going to chase out paying customers. And McDonald's has loose c084d04ddacadd4b971ae3d98fecfb2a. If all else fails stick with vegemite sandwiches! terriwiwireless!
"He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich"
three. shipping - don't be flying round Australia! I spent nearly 2 years living there and didn't once use an internal flight. Use Greyhound and book early, or higher nonetheless - meet up with others, buy a automobile and stale you cross - you've got your personal automobile now which you could sleep in and power to campsites with. proportion the petrol costs and even get a process and percentage lifts to paintings. And if getting a Greyhound, of direction get it at night time to shop cash on accommodation (simple obvious matters by using the manner). Gumtree, hostel notice forums and travel web sites additionally provide carshare options.
four. Get a operating Visa (of a few kind) - I cannot understand how those that are eligible for a operating holiday visa in Australia don't use it. the amount of travellers I met in Australia that stated "we are only here for three months so we're not working" then observed it up with the aid of "this location is dear", properly why did not you just get a operating visa then? Even running for just a week or two in Australia can earn you over one thousand Australian dollars.
wi-fi. front fees - again it sounds apparent but do not be paying access into locations - there are hundreds of unfastened matters to look and do in Australia. trekking for one, some outstanding landscapes to see, seashores (absolutely loose), fancy get dressed events (make your own costumes free of charge), museums are regularly additionally free entry (consisting of the excellent war Memorial in Canberra), as is walking throughout Sydney Harbour Bridge. if you want to look Koalas and Kangaroos - those can all be wi-finished at no cost. Kennet River on the tremendous Ocean road is a wi-fi spot for Koala watching at dawn. Kangaroos and wallabies are toughwireless to miss.
Why pay for stuff when this type of view is free? (dawn in South Victoria, 2010)
6. Coupons, vouchers, tokens - the amount of travellers I met who by no means trouble picking up the ones brochures, fliers and many others. that lurk in bus stations, airports, pubs, hostels, visitor data centres and so forth. - I stored selecting up those brochures and wi-fi money off coupons, wi-fi on excursions and many others. Bars regularly even give out a unfastened beer to lure you in - move in, take your unfastened beer and go away.

Melbourne fintech startup Assembly Payments has announced today the city will serve as its global headquarters as it gears up to hire more than 60 new team members over the next 12 months.
Founded in 2013, the startup formerly known as PromisePay has already brought on former Xero marketing director Kylie Kneale and Julia Bearzatto, previously tech lead at IBM and CPO of SecurePay.
With 64 employees spread across its offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, and St Louis, Assembly was exploring the idea of heading offshore before the Victorian government offered support in the form of a cash grant.
Simon Lee, CEO of Assembly, said that while the company has a global team, it is committing to make Melbourne its biggest base.
“The local ecosystem and environment are hugely important to us. We think Melbourne has the potential to be one of the most important financial technology centres of the world; it’s one of the most diverse, creative and forward thinking cities in the region, and those are the exact traits we search for in our people, so we think some of the best tech talent in the world can be found right here at home,” he said.
Lee added that the startup doesn’t see staying put rather than heading overseas as “a sacrifice”.
“Silicon Valley companies sell all round the world, as can we. A couple of years ago people would ask why we don’t move to San Francisco or London, but now we’re seeing other Aussie tech companies build international offices but keep HQ at home, so it’s becoming more normal.”
It comes just a few months after the startup signed a deal with the eBay-owned classifieds platform Gumtree to power its Gumtree Connect platform. The service will enable customers to post jobs for tradies, who will then submit quotes, with Assembly taking care of the payment side once a job is done.
Gumtree is one of more than 100 companies using Assembly globally, with the likes of Carsales, Airtasker, and hipages also customers.
Described as a flexible payments platform, with client companies able to manage things like escrow and fraud detection, the startup last June raised $14 million in a Series A round led by Carsales, with participation from other investors including Rampersand,Westpac’s Reinventure, and 99Designs cofounder Mark Harbottle.
Assembly is just the latest company to get support from the Victorian government to base itself in Melbourne.
The government has over the last few years splashed the cash to get global names including Zendesk, Square, and Slack to open offices in the city; Melbourne-founded logistics software startup GetSwift also returned down under after a stint in New York thanks to a push from Victorian Minister for Innovation Philip Dalidakis.
Chairman Bane Hunter said at the time, “We met with [Dalidakis] in the US, where he delivered a pretty compelling pitch as to Melbourne should be our first choice for a move back home.”
Taking a slightly different approach to luring companies to its state is Queensland with its Hot DesQ program, which offers international startups and Australian startups outside Queensland a grant and free coworking space to relocate to the state for six months.

Allgemeine Situationsinformation vom Heldengespann aus Down Under...
Verkauft man nichts, bekommt man nichts.
