Probably, many people would treat Raziel's true children in the same way. And it is unlikely that the human race would want to be constantly sent to die to the demons. A war would have started. Humans could easily defeat the Nephilim. Man has so many dangerous military technologies that Shadowhunters haven't even heard of. A Nephilim cannot use a submachine gun, but a human can easily shoot a Nephilim with it. Valentine definitely underestimated people. He hinted that people start all wars because of the influence of demons (what if all politicians are actually higher demons?🙃) but still, man is a cruel creature, and without the intervention of a demon, he is capable of atrocities. They not only create, but also destroy. People would have destroyed them all.
