so my mom was asking me how my psychiatrist appointment went today, and we've joked previously about how an appointment is about 5 min long where he just checks to see if I'm having any reactions or think I need to up my meds. cause I have a psychologist for therapy, so I just go to him for medical prescriptions. anyway, I didn't have anything to change, just needed a new script and I told her that and she immediately asks: "Have you ever been tempted to tell him your hearing things just to see how he'd respond?" - or I assume that's how her question was going to end because about halfway through I yelled no in response. And I'm lying on he sofa, like no mom I've never considered lying to my doctor about mental health symptoms that I don't have to change my medication that I N E E D in order to get out of bed in the mornings for kicks. And she looks at me like I'M the weird one?

like tipping people is so hard? ive never worked a service job, what is the right amount? my mom was like 10% for beauty/health stuff and 20% for food, but i feel like 20 should be the minimum unless you physically saw the person spit in your food or hair dye or whatever (in which case i'd still probably tip 15% because service jobs sound like a bitch, i might have been a jerk to prompt that, and even if neither of those are true i tend to go for the long run end goal in revenge cases). also is there a minimum tip? like when i buy a cheap meal and it comes out to like 80 cents and a piece of lint for a tip. i just assume $3 as a base tip?

Also, another headcanon. Hunger Games, Year 3000 (by the Jonas Brothers), and 2012 (the 2009 movie) all exist in the same universe. See in 2012 the big scandal was that the scientists, high ranking governmental people, and the rich(est) people were the only ones to score tickets to survive on the 'arcs' when the tsunami hit. As this was an American movie, it really only focused on America, thus this (more overt than normal) ogliarchy places the richest at the top in America. When the waters eventually recede from the first tsunami wave, the survivors are left with only a sliver of America left, the part seen in The Hunger Games. The ogliarchy quickly maneuvers the lower class and military (which would have been the old upper class that wasn't the 1%) into menial positions (the 13 districts). At this point the rest of the word quarantines America, leading to the Hunger Games. Meanwhile the rest of the world develops to the point where they expand into living underwater. Thus Year 3000.
