Tim never becoming robin but his parents still dying and him taking over Drake industries as a teenager which turns out to be actually very successful somehow and then uses that exclusively to fuck up lex luthors evil plans

Nicky returns from wherever he's been and is like "Well I want to be an active part of my kid's life and try and make up for lost time. I should go to his parents' evening, find out how he's doing in school, and meet his teachers. Especially this Mr Marlowe guy, Taylor seems to think he's awesome." And walking right into that classroom/hall to find his ex-boyfriend best friend sitting there in a dorky sweater and tie combo

Cue Terry, without missing a beat, greeting them as if nothing is wrong

Like first you kill her mom (JULIA NOOO) and erase her YEARS of history growing up around diana (the thing that actually made her villain turn [if you can call it that w the level of manipulation involved] interesting and fucking heartbreaking) for some shitty "oh I saved you we were friends" run of the mill whatever. Then to use that and say Nessie had a crush on her OWN SISTER (Diana, so like informally adopted, but still 😡) now????

And then they took away her curls and made her a redhead but not even the realistic kind. DC SHE DOESNT LOOK LIKE THAT

It just makes me so mad. Freaking guys. They could have used another name like oh my god. She's not even the first silver swan why the fuck would they do that if they're not going to explore her history w diana (which she no longer has!!!!) or how intensely fucked up everything got for her. What is even the fucking point of this then other to drag a main character of the ww supporting cast through the mud again for genuinely no reason. Hmm. I didn't want to do this, but after receiving a lot of harassment here and on Ao3 I'm debating abandoning ACOHAS. It is just... not fun to go there and expect negativity all the time about THAT ONE THING so my internet experience would be much better by simply stopping with that one fic BUT it also is the fic of my heart and I have so many arcs I want to complete, so I have really mixed feelings on it :(

#most of the ire is over just that fanfic and not others because people arent capable of understanding that charaters can *gasp* have growth #and that *gasp* just because you write them thinking something doesnt mean their POV is correct actually #like tamlin is very much of a rhysand like mentality right now. 'what i did was bad BUT it was necessary'#and he still has a long journey though his mental health and healing is better. but SOME PEOPLE dont get that #ive hinted at it before but a major plot point of the ending is him groveling at feyres feet. and uh something else he he he #he ruined my ship and its cathartic for me to watch him grovel OK???#but he still has a journey to GET there #same thing with nesta! and lucien! they need to have their own individual journey. ad i'll miss sanara and kya and cassie #but i just dont know if i can do it anymore #so i might abanon it BUT write like a summary of the second half of the fanfic because i feel so bad for my readers #which is the main reason why i havent abandoned it yet #but im just tired #bookish rambles

THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR IS JUST SOOOO. like imagine the debt collectors looking for mork at the garage like they usually do but they can't find him there anymore so they start following him and discover that he goes to this huge expensive house every day. maybe they think mork is cheating them out of money and decide to remind him how things work, so one day, after mork leaves, they go knock at the front door. in the house there are only day and night and thinking that mork must have forgotten something and came back for it, they open the door without even looking who is it. and like.. no one gets hurt, those debt collectors just went there to throw around some threats as a warning to mork (and i want day to be amazing through it all, standing proud in the middle of the room and talking back to those assholes without fear), but it's a big scare for night and no matter how much day begs him to not tell their mom what happened, he still does it, and things escalate from there

cue day's mom wanting mork out of her son's life, mork feeling incredibly guilty and scared because day could have gotten hurt which prompts him to leave thinking that's for the best, and day being forced back into isolation. BUT ALSO!!!!!! mork marching up to those debt collectors and punching them in the face because he's never been a violent man, never dared to fight back, but no one - NO ONE - thinks about hurting day and gets away with it. and that's when he knows he has to leave: that's the first time he has someone to protect, someone he loves and wants and needs so completely, and he can't stand the thought of losing day or day coming to hate him

thankfully day is gonna have none of that and get him back AND NOW IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME IM GONNA GO SCREAM INTO MY PILLOW FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT
