No but like Colman Domingo wasn’t wrong when he said Sam Levinson “likes to smash expectations” cuz that was literally what he did all throughout S2 of Euphoria!
What most fans thought would happen:
1.) Cassie ended S1 basically saying “Fuck relationships. I don’t want that to be my main focus anymore” and we thought she would find her self-worth and stop seeking validation from men because of her daddy issues.
2.) Maddy would still be with Nate’s abusive ass and they’d be that evil toxic couple that ruins everyones lives like they did to poor Tyler.
3.) The Jules vs. Nate storyline would still be one of the main conflicts in the series.
4.) Nate would either die or go to jail.
5.) Kat and McKay’s storylines would progress further.
6.) Kat and Ethan (aka the best couple in S1) would have some kind of relationship drama, but would be able to bounce back from it.
7.) It would be revealed that Lexi has a crush on Rue and she’d either confess at some point and they’d get together or she’d find someone that treats her better than S1-Rue.
8.) Fez would either get killed by Mouse or continue to be a side character with like 3 minutes of screen time.
___
What we got:
1.) Cassie seeking validation from NATE JACOBS OF ALL PEOPLE!
2.) It didn’t take 5 seasons for Maddy to learn that she can live without Nate.
3.) The Jules vs. Nate storyline was pretty much forgotten about except for like 4 very short scenes that showed Nate’s creepy ass was still thinking about Jules (don’t get me started on that “blink and you’ll miss it” flash of Jules while Nate and Cassie were fucking 😭)
4.) Nate’s bitch ass is still alive, not in jail, and he got one of the happiest endings of the season 🙄
5.) Kat turned into a background character cuz Sam Levinson was mad that Barbie didn’t want to do whatever weird storyline he had written for her and McKay faded from existence.
6.) Kat and Ethan had relationship drama and certainly DID NOT bounce back from it 😭
7.) We still don’t know if Lexi had a crush on Rue, but she sure did find somebody to love…But absolutely NO ONE was expecting it to be FEZ!!!
8.) Fez was moved up to series regular status and had tons more scenes this season.
_____
I say all that to say, don’t be surprised if some important storyline from last season gets dropped or is only mentioned a few times in the next season. Cuz if it’s one thing Sam Levinson is gonna do, it’s build up a storyline only to let it go absolutely no where.

mckay had to be crazy.
when they broke up, mckay swore off setting foot in the school again but word gets around of a play lexi is doing.. and color him a little curious as to see what had been going since he vowed to stay away. mckay watched with a blank expression as everything unfolded on stage, from cassie’s meltdown, to maddy chasing her off the stage & into the hallways.
someone had to go check on her, that was the first thing in his mind. though the two had broken up, it didn’t stop him from.. from being a good person, a.. a shoulder of support, maybe if cassie had needed it. so when he saw her sitting out in the empty hallway, resting by some lockers & nursing the injuries she sustained during her fight with maddy, mckay had silently moved to take the spot next to her-- pulling his knees up to his chest. eyes silently finding their way to hers, a look of concern in his brown hues as he looks her over.
‘‘--its stupid of me to ask if you’re.. okay when you don’t.. y’know, don’t look okay. we don’t gotta’ talk.. or anything. just know i’m here.’‘

wyocmwyh? — nate jacobs x reader
☄. *. ⋆
content warnings and genre: reader is a bigger jackass than nate, swearing, unprotected sex, sex under the influence, marijuana consumption — smut/angst
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
synopsis: he's been full of issues for as long as he could remember, and you were aware of his reputation. the last thing anybody has expected when you started hooking up—was for him to get a taste of his own medicine
✧.*
he didn't know what to expect, talking to his friends about you. mckay and the others weren't sure how to feel about you, not that they knew much. just that you were a knockout, and that you and nate had been seeing each other for a while now. they supported their friend, listening to his rants and ongoing rambling about how you were the first woman to change him, he had started to turn over a new leaf. to be fair, they weren't aware that you had other intentions.
nate jacobs, the enigmatic figure who had once reveled in the shadows of manipulation and deceit, found himself drawn into the web of your allure. it was a mystery even to himself, how your presence had shaken the very foundations of his carefully constructed world. in the past, he had been the puppet master, the maestro of control, orchestrating lives to dance to his wicked tune. but now, he was dancing to a melody entirely of your making, and he didn't know how to stop.
as he sat with his friends in a dimly lit corner of their favorite hangout spot, the neon lights casting an ethereal glow on their faces, nate couldn't help but talk about you. his voice, once laced with arrogance, had softened into a tone of wonder and vulnerability.
“guys, you won't believe it,” he began, his words infused with an unusual sincerity that caught the attention of his friends. “(y/n), she's really something else.” mckay, his closest confidant, exchanged a knowing glance with roy, silently acknowledging that nate was treading on unfamiliar terrain. they had witnessed his conquests, his manipulation, and his cunning schemes, but never had they seen him like this—bewildered, captivated, and undeniably smitten. “she's different, man,” he continued, his gaze distant as if lost in a reverie of your image. “i don't know what it is, but every moment i spend with her, it's like i'm discovering a whole new side of myself.”
troy, the street-savvy yet compassionate friend, leaned forward, curiosity etching his features. “nate, you sound like you're in deep. what's so special about her?” his lips curved into a faint smile, a testament to the genuine feelings you had stirred within him. “everything, man. she's smart, funny, and beautiful, sure, but it's more than that. when i'm with her, it's like i'm not the same person. i want to be better, for her.”
cassie, who had once been entangled in nate's web of deception, watched him intently, her heart a peculiar mix of relief and apprehension. she had seen the damage he could cause, yet she couldn't help but hope that you truly had the power to change him for the better.
as the night wore on, nate's friends listened to his impassioned monologue about you, how he felt like he was falling in love. they offered their support, unaware of the hidden motives that lurked beneath the surface of your relationship. in their minds, this was a story of redemption, a narrative of a man transformed by love. little did they know that you were the puppet master now, pulling the strings in a clandestine game of your own design. nate was merely a pawn in your intricate plan, a taste of his own medicine, while he unknowingly surrendered his heart to you, falling deeper into the snare you had skillfully woven.
amidst the haze of dimly lit conversations, the sultry aroma of late-night revelry, and the comforting embrace of his friends' camaraderie, nate's phone buzzed on the table. he fished it out of his pocket, his gaze lingering on the screen as your name illuminated the darkness. without a second thought, he answered, the anticipation palpable in his voice. “hey, (y/n). what's up?” on the other end of the line, your voice held a carefree, almost nonchalant quality that was starkly different from the emotional depth he had been discussing earlier. “hey, natey,” you purred, your words languid, as if drifting through a cloud of smoke. “i was thinking it's been a while since we hung out. wanna come over? got something that might make the night more interesting.”
nate's curiosity was piqued, and he glanced at his friends, their expressions a mix of amusement and intrigue. he shrugged, trying to act cool, as if your request was nothing out of the ordinary. “sure, why not? i'll be there in a bit.” as he hung up the call, he couldn't help but notice how his newfound sense of vulnerability clashed with your seemingly carefree demeanor. it was as though you were operating on a different wavelength, a wavelength that had suddenly shifted the dynamic between you two.
minutes later, nate arrived at your doorstep, his heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and uncertainty. he was met by the hazy glow of dimly lit candles, their flickering flames casting dancing shadows across the room. the scent of something herbal hung in the air, mingling with the faint notes of incense. you were sprawled on the couch, smoke tendrils swirling around you as you took a languid drag from a joint, your eyes half-lidded and distant. when you saw nate, your lips curled into a slow, seductive smile.
“hey, babe,” you drawled, your voice low and sultry. “come join me.” he had hesitated for a moment, his analytical mind trying to make sense of the stark contrast between your current persona and the person he had been gushing about to his friends just moments ago. but the pull of your presence was undeniable, and he sank into the couch beside you.
as he took the joint from your outstretched hand and inhaled deeply, the world seemed to melt away, and he felt himself slipping into a state of euphoria. the weed wrapped its gentle tendrils around his consciousness, leaving him feeling strangely warm and at ease. you leaned closer, your fingers tracing an absent-minded pattern on his thigh, and he couldn't help but notice how the haze in your eyes had transformed into something altogether different. it was a vulnerability he hadn't seen in you before, a tenderness that seemed to mirror the emotions he had been expressing earlier.
in that moment, as the room swirled around them and the intoxicating effects of the joint continued to envelop them, nate found himself drawn to you in a way he couldn't explain. he had come seeking a taste of your enigmatic allure, but now he was discovering a depth to you that transcended the surface. unbeknownst to him, the lines between manipulation and genuine emotion were becoming increasingly blurred, and the intricate game you had set in motion was taking an unexpected turn.
nate's bruising grip on your hip tightened as your knees buckled, making you stay upright and exactly where he had placed you, making sure that you could feel the way he split your pussy open. the wet squelching of your cunt urged on the filthy words coming for his lips and the moans that left his mouth, filling your ears as he held onto your ass, groping it with an ulterior motive of possessiveness. you were enjoying it, with much difference from the normal way that you two would have sex. with much softer touches that wouldn't leave green and purple marks for the days after or guilty looks from you for even doing this to him, using him—never letting him know it.
a shocked moan came from you as nate moved his hand from your neck to your clit, rubbing fast and tight circles with his other hand, barely nudging from the squirming that you were doing. only loud, growled out words came from him, loud enough for you to hear him and for more and more shockwaves to build in your stomach, adding to your release.
the nirvana of the mindless self-indulgence clashing with the exruciatingly hard orgasms produced something mesmerizing. nate came, filling you up with his hot, sticky seed and, in that moment, his grip loosened. his tight, possessive touch had been replaced with a sweet tenderness that even you had noticed. he came with a moan, as did you, your juices dripping down his shaft as the balloon in your stomach finally popped. the euphoria didn't last forever, it never did. it had come to his knowledge that whatever it was he was feeling for you, relished in a sense of unrequited feelings. he didn't know it at first, but he figured it out rather quickly, unable to stop the words from tumbling out of his mouth.
“i love you, (y/n),” he was met with silence, something he wasn't used to. he was used to girls throwing themselves at his feet, knowing how little he cared for them. this time, it was different. for the first time in forever, he wished he could take it back, the silence deafening. the only thing he could hear was the way his heart shattered from within.

NATE
The summer vacation had not been easy for Nathaniel Jacobs. Between the divorce of his parents, Cassie who was just stalking his and his going to college, nothing was right.
Two weeks before homecoming, he decided to go to Chris Mckay’s, he was happy that Mckay was still talking to him about what happened between him and Cassie.
They were in Mckay’s room playing a fighting game. They were focused in their game when Nate was talking. "Dude?". Mckay turned his head to look at him. "Yeah?" he said.
"How’s college, I mean is there a lot of hot chicks?" Mckay and Nate laugh, Nate laugh to hide his anxiety.
Nate wanted to leave, college was one of the best ways. What Nate was afraid of was not being number one. He was afraid that he would not be THE best football player. That he is not indispensable to his team.
"Nah, man, college is where you can fuck whoever you want, it’s not like high school, people don’t give a shit about who’s fucking who, as long as it’s not cheating." Mckay said.
"How do you get respect?" Nate asks. Mckay seems to think long." I had sex with the cheerleading captain and the opposing college captain. Nate opens his eyes wide. "Two cheerleaders but not the same team or the same college?"
"You’re gaining huge popularity and a huge repsect. You’re teammates will trust you after that." Mckay laughed." So if I understand correctly, a good fuck with a cheerleader captain is the deal?" asks Nate. "Got it all figured out, man. But one advice, close the door of your room when you’re inside."
Mckay’s expression changes, it becomes empty and hard. Filled with hate and sadness. Nate nods, and as he was about to speak the door opens. Drawing the attention of Nate and the latter.
"Chris, your aunt is here, comes to help her carry her boxes." said his mother. "Is she already there?" asked Chris sighing." Yes, she’s already here, with her daughter, so be nice and come now." Demands her mother.
Chris gets up and Nate follows him, they go outside where, his head car is parked. Chris hugs his aunt and takes boxes, Nate only says hello and helps her carry her boxes.
Nate poses where he needs to, he goes back out when he crosses a small head out of the bathroom.
Nate looks at the girl and he feels something, he doesn’t move me and she doesn’t either. He looks at the girl.
She is small, her hair is black braided, long eyelashes that put her brown hazelnut eyes in values , black skin but which shone thanks to the passage of the sunset in the long corridor. Nate begins to detail her body, she has beautiful boobs, a slim waist and beautiful hips that enhance her legs.
She’s wearing a Brazil jersey with black shorts, a cyclist? He doesn’t know, but anyway, this girl makes him feel what no other girl has ever made him feel not even Maddy.
"Y/N" says Chris enthusiastically. Y/N looks at Nate looking away at Chris. "Did you miss me?" she asks trotting towards him.
Chris laughs and hugs her. Nate remains in his thoughts for a short time.
______________________________________________
Nate learned a lot about Y/N. She’s her age, she likes to read, write and fine art, she doesn’t have a boyfriend and something that makes Nate want to have her, in two weeks, they’ll share the same campus.
They go to the same college, she looks so pure and kind, Nate intends to make sure that she lives only by him.
Nate falls in love every time she talks to him and that’s a big problem for our football star.
Especially when Y/N won’t just attract his attention.

     Cassie Howard was a lover girl. She loved love, she loved being loved and she loved loving others. She had been in a few relationships here and there, and she fell hard for every guy she was with. Many of those guys had just been with her for the sexual benefits that came with being in a relationship, some of them because they really liked her. Regardless of the reason, every one of those relationships ended the same way; her being broken up with.
"I'm not looking for anything serious."
"I'm not into you like that."
"I'm interested in someone else one."
"I just want to work on myself."
She'd heard every reason in the book, and they all hurt. Breakups always were painful, but having a bullshit excuse come with it made it even worse. Out of all of the excuses she'd heard, there was one that stood out the most. One that hurt more than all the rest, one that was more common for her to hear.
"You're just too clingy, it's too much."
She would rather hear anything but that. The word clingy cut her deep, it was a continuous wound that never healed regardless of who she was with. She couldn't help it, she wanted the person she was with to know she loved them and she wanted to feel that love was reciprocated. She often seeked out reassurance, none of them ever gave it. Her love ran so deep, all she wanted was that same type of love in return. Granted, she had also never been in a healthy relationship, until she met Y/n Y/l/n.
Cassie met him during her senior year a little while after her split from Chris McKay. She knew of Y/n, even if she didn't know him personally. He was a hockey player at East Highland, one of their best players. He was a senior just like her, and was relatively popular. The party— that was being hosted by someone whose name she couldn't remember— was being held at a large house with hundreds of people from their school. She and her sister Lexi arrived with their group of friends after spending hours getting ready together. She hadn't been single for this long until a while, but for once, she didn't mind. She was okay, she felt alright. She enjoyed spending the time getting ready and looking pretty for herself and not for someone else, it felt so good. Even knowing she would possibly run into McKay at the party didn't bother her or make her feel pressured to look perfect. She wanted to look perfect for herself. She was proud of herself for that.
     It had been a while since her and her friends went to a party together, they were making the most out of it and living it up. Maddy and Nate just so happened to also be split up, so they weren't spending the evening clinging to their man's arms. They were dancing with their girls, laughing, and having fun.
     At some point during the night, Cassie decided she wanted a drink, as anyone attending a party would. There was a bar area she had been told was set up in the middle of house, and as she made her way to said bar area, some people who were mindlessly dancing bumped into her rather aggressively. Which then sent her flying into another person, sending them to the floor. That person just so happened to Y/n Y/l/n.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! Are you okay? I'm so sorry," she frantically told him, helping him up from the ground.
"No worries, I'm okay," Y/n said, rubbing the back of his head as he accepted her help up.
"I feel horrible. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to knock you over. I was trying to get through and there were people dancing and—"
"Hey, seriously, it's alright. No need to apologize," He gave her a small smile, "I'm used to it from Hockey." He joked.
Of course, that didn't stop her from feeling bad for knocking into him. Every time she tried to apologize, he was wave her off, assuring her that it truly was alright and it was no big deal. She offered to make him a drink as a final apology, claiming she knew a special recipe she could make with the liquor that was present. He took that opportunity to make an agreement; if he accepted the drink, she would stop apologizing.
      "Okay, fine. I can agree to that," Cassie chuckled, grabbing two cups and a couple of the bottles. Before she could start pouring, Y/n put a hand on her arm.
     "We have to pinky swear," He grinned, holding his pinky out to her. She playfully rolled her eyes before locking her pinky with his, squeezing it slightly.
     "Pinky swear." That lead to the two spending the whole night talking to one another, getting to know each other. He was such a gentleman and so kind right off the bat in a way none of the other guy's at their school were. He was also strikingly handsome, which was just an added bonus. They spent quite a lot of the night chit chatting, not realizing how long it had been until Maddy came looking for Cassie.
"There you are, come dance with me!" Maddy exclaimed, taking Cassie's hand and trying to drag her away.
"Hold on, one sec Maddy," The blonde said, motioning to the boy next to her. Maddy made an o"o" shape with her mouth before smirking at her, giving her a thumbs up and walking away.
Y/n chuckled the interaction, "Well, I better let you get back to your friends. I've kept you held up long enough," he stated.
"Yeah, I guess. It was really nice talking to you, Y/n. We'll have to talk more soon," Cassie responded, a large grin on her face.
"Yes, definitely," Y/n said before quickly grabbing his phone from his back pocket. "Would you... maybe want to give me your number? So we can keep talking more? Only if you want to, only if you're comfortable with that." His cheek flushed a light shade of pink as he waited for her response.
"Of course, I'd love that." They exchanged phone numbers before bidding their goodbyes, both smiling equally as wide.
That was just the start of their story. They quickly began texting all the time, every day. They would meet up every now and then at school, hang out after school, and before long Cassie began to develop feelings for the boy. This time, it was different. Y/n was unlike any other boy she had ever met; He was funny, kind, respectful, and cared about more than just her pretty face or body. He cared about all the little things, just as much as the big things. He knew all her favorite things, all her little habits and ticks, and he knew how to make her smile.
About two months later, Y/n decided he was going to ask the girl he had fallen so hard for to be his girlfriend. It started with him asking her in a date, to which she said yes. He had arranged a surprise dinner at her favorite restaurant and got her a big, beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers. After dinner, he took her to his house where he decorated the finished basement with lights, flower petals, and candles. He set up a cozy movie station for them to watch her favorite movies.
During the movie, they went from sitting next to each other to Cassie snuggling into his chest. As the credits rolled, he shifted upwards causing her to look up.
"Y/n? You okay?" Cassie asked, her eyebrows furrowing together.
He took a deep breath in, preparing himself in his head. "Cass?" He said.
"Yes?"
"I need to ask you something," he kept his sentences short in order to not word vomit due to his intense nerves. Cassie sat up straight, looking him in the face as she felt her heart start to beat faster. Could this be it? Is he gonna ask what I think? She thought to herself.
"So, I'm sure you can probably tell based on me asking you on a date, but I really, really like you," he began, feeling himself blush.
"I really like you too, Y/n." She beamed, unable to hide the pure joy on her face.
"Yeah?" He asked, grinning like he'd just won an award. The girl nodded, and he inched his hand towards hers. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"I would love to be your girlfriend, Y/n."
Just like that, they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Y/n swore he'd never been happier in his whole life, and he made it his mission to show her every single day. He brought her flowers on a daily basis, took her on all kinds of dates every week, made sure she knew how beautiful she was every day, and made sure make his devotion known.
In every relationship she had been in at this point, she had been spoiled, but not to this extent. Nobody had ever shown her this kind of affection, let alone kept it consistent no matter how much time passed. She had never felt so loved, and it made her fall in love with him even harder than she already was. She couldn't believe how lucky she had been to find him.
     Months passed, the two were more attached at the hip than ever. At school, Y/n walked Cassie to all her classes, sat with her at lunch, and drove her to and from school. After school, she would attend all his practices and games for both sports depending on the season. He would go to all her ice skating practices, and anything she found important. They spent all their free time together, it was hard to get one away from the other. Y/n's friends made fun of him, but he always shut them down and made sure they knew not to make any comments that were anything but nice about his girl. He didn't care what they had to say, all he cared about was Cassie. He pushed her to make time for her friends as well as him, but he didn't mind not hanging out with his friends that often. None of them were as close as Cassie was to her friends.
Eventually, they met each other's parents and families. Casie invited him over for dinner and it was safe to say Suze absolutely adored Y/n. She made sure to point out the drastic change she'd seen in her daughter since he came along, she hadn't seen her that happy in a long time. Not even with McKay. When meeting Y/n's family, Cassie was invited to their annual bowling night. It was the family's thing, it was very rare for them to invite newcomers. But, Cassie was different. They gladly made the exception, and ended up all loving the girl just as much as Suze loved Y/n.
Their relationship was relatively flawless, though they definitely had their struggles every now and then. Cassie had never been in a relationship that was healthy, and had plenty of work to do to make this relationship stay that way. She had insecurities and fears she needed to stay mindful of, and Y/n was there to help her every step of the way. He reassured her, comforted her, and was very patient and supportive of her. For the most part, she learned to feel secure.
One thing Cassie hadn't learned to handle though, was her clinginess. Sometimes, she wouldn't even catch herself being clingy. Other times, her ex's voices rang in her mind telling her she was "too clingy" and "too much" nonstop. When that happened, she would begin to pull away a little bit in fear he would think the same thing as the other's did. Y/n only ever noticed a difference when she would pull away from him, which left him confused. He would try to pry and talk to her about it, and every time she would just brush it off like it was nothing. He could clearly tell it was something, but she wouldn't budge.
That was until she began acting that way in the middle of date night. It was their date night in for the month, where they typically would cook together and watch whatever show they were currently binging together. One date a month they would do this, the rest of their dates they went out and about. Cassie was usually rather cuddly and touchy with her boyfriend, she never found herself overthinking during their dates. This particular day was a Friday, and at school she heard other cheerleaders talking very loudly about her boyfriend in the locker rooms after practice.
"I can't believe Cassie and Y/n are still together," one girl said. Cassie, who was in a bathroom stall, tried her hardest to ignore them. At first, she brushed it off, until they kept going and would not shut the fuck up.
"I know right! How is he not sick of her?"
"She literally throws herself at him 24/7, it's insane."
"She is so fucking desperate, he must get so tired of it. I swear I saw him move away from her when she tried to hug him today."
"It's about time, maybe he's realizing he can someone less pathetic."
The blonde couldn't get their words out of her head, no matter how hard she tried. If other people thought that way, surely he did too, right? People she barely even talked to could sense how clingy she was, and apparently how annoyed he appeared. That right there was enough to send her into an overthinking episode, one much worse than she'd had in a while. As Y/n dished up their places, she was leaned against the counter, staring off into space as she thought it all over. She was pulled from her thoughts when her boyfriend wrapped an arm around her, telling her the food was ready. She quickly shied away from him, bidding him a thank you as she took her plate and headed towards the stairs.
"Hey, babe?" Y/n called out, his tone laced with concern. She turned around to look at him as he grabbed his own plate and began walking towards her. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," she whispered, staring at the ground and going down the stairs. The boy furrowed his eyebrows, following close behind her. They sat on the couch together with their plates in their laps, Y/n taking a seat close to his girlfriend. She scooted over the slightest bit, but wanting to appear like she was all over him. Many red flags were going off in Y/n's head, she wasn't being her usual, lovey, talkative self. Something was definitely wrong. The boy kept making advances in attempt to be close to her, just to be rejected each and every time.
After a half hour of them going back and forth, him silently trying to fix the problem, he decided to speak up. "Baby?"
"Hm?"
"What's going on with you today?" He finally asked, staring at her with a look of concern. She shifted uncomfortably under his gaze as she tried not to make eye contact.
     "Nothings going on," she lied, looking everywhere but at him.
     "Yes there is," he stated. "I know you like the back of my hand and you've been acting super off since after practice. Talk to me, love."
     "I don't know what you're talking about," Y/n knew what she was doing; she was bullshitting him to avoid talking about the problem. If it was over something small, he would wait until she was ready to talk about it. This was different, and he wanted— no, needed to know what was wrong so he could fix it.
     "You've been really quiet, which isn't like you. You haven't really let me touch you, and you haven't been touchy with me either—"
     "What's so bad about that?" she cut him off, her voice just barely above a whisper.
      "What? What do you mean?" Y/n asked, feeling even more confused and concerned.
      "I mean I'm too clingy, anyways. And I'm too much, what's so bad about me not acting like that?" As she spoke, her eyes filled with tears. The moment Y/n noticed, he was taking her face in his hands and moving her head to face him. She still avoided his gaze as she tried to keep her tears at bay.
     "Baby, look at me," she shook her head no, but that didn't stop him. "Cassie, please. I need you to look at me,"
     After what felt like forever, she finally met his gaze and he swore he felt himself melt in her eyes.
“Cassie, you are not too clingy or too much.“ he told her firmly.
“But, I’m all over you all the time. It’s pathetic,” the girl scoffed as her boyfriend wiped her tears with his thumbs.
“Why would you say that, love? You’re not pathetic,” he whispered with a sad frown.
“Because it’s true, and you know it too.” She moved backwards away from his grasp before wiping at her own face with her hand.
“What?! No! I don’t think you’re pathetic baby, not at all. I would never, ever think that of you.”
“Maybe not now, but you will! They always do! I’m— I’m always too much, or I’m too clingy or desperate and everyone thinks so! Everyone always gets sick of me, just like you will because they’re all right!” Cassie cried out, letting her head fall into her hands as soft sobs escaped her lips. Y/n couldn’t believe his ears, it broke his heart right in half to hear that his girl thought so low of herself— and even more so that she thought he believed it, too.
“Woah, woah, woah. Who said that?” He was quickly moving to wrap his arms around her shoulders, being weakly shoved off. He didn’t let that stop him, and he pulled her into his chest and held her tightly as she cried. He stroked her hair and kissed her forehead, rocking her back and forth. They sat like that for who knows how long before Cassie calmed down, feeling embarassed about her outburst.
“Are you ready to talk, baby?” Y/n asked as he reached for a nearby box of tissues. Cassie nodded before blowing her nose. After that, she told him everything from all of the things her exes had said to her to what she overheard the girls saying in the locker room. He felt his heart shatter even more, all he wanted was to scoop her in his arms and love her forever. “My love, I need you to know they are all wrong. So wrong! I could never get sick of you, and I will never get sick of you or annoyed with you. Sure, maybe you can be clingy, but I love it. I love your clingy, because I am just as clingy to you if not more. I love how attached and touchy you are with me, I love all of it… I love you, Cassie.”
Cassie’s head perked up, fearing she misheard him. “You what?”
“I love you, Cassie. I am so in love with you,” he whispered, tucking her hair behind her ear and cupping her cheek. “You don’t have to say it back if you’re not ready, but I just wanted you to know.”
“I love you too, Y/n.” She grinned, cutting him off.
Y/n chuckled as his own smile grew. He pulled her in and gave her a soft, passionate kiss. He knew he wasn’t going to just skip over what she was worried about, and was going to continue to reassure her, but right now he was so ecstatic to know that she loved him just like he loved her.

Cat and Mouse (Nate Jacobs x Reader)
Warnings :toxic relationship, swearing, some elliot x reader afab reader, Degradation if you sqiunt?? sorry this is a kinda long one i got carried away
Tumblr media
Halloween night was in full swing at McKay's house, and you were both nervous and excited to attend the party. Dressed in a sleek black cat costume, you knew heads were going to turn, espically Nate Jacobs, your ex boyfriend. The breakup had left a bitter taste in both of your mouths, and you couldn't help but hope that he'd see what he was missing.
As you entered the lively party, you couldn't help but notice Nate almost immediatley. His presence loomed over you like a dark cloud.
Nate was surrounded by friends, laughing and acting like he didn't have a care in the world, but the moment his eyes met yours, the laughter died down.
As you mingled with your friends, you spotted Elliot looking just as dashing as ever in his coustume. He had a natural charm that drew you in. Striking up a conversation with Elliot was surpisingly easy, and the two of you quickly fell into a comfortable banter. He made you laugh with his witty remarks, and his genuine smile put you at ease.
You decided to let loose and have some fun. You and Elliot ended up goofing around together, taking photos in the photo booth. He draped his arm around your shoulders, and you posed with a big smile, feeling the warmth of his presence next to you.
From the corner of you eye, you noticed Nate watching you and Elliot from afar. His jaw was clenched, and there was a tension in his body language that hadn't been there before. It was clear that seeing you with Elliot was getting to him.
As the night progressed you and Elliot continued to enjoy each other's company, dancing and laughing. The more you interacted with him, the more Nate seemed to grow agitated.
At one point, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning around, you saw Nate standing there with a forced smirk on his face, "Having fun with the druggie, huh?" He sneered.
You kept your composure, refusing to show him any sign of weakness. "Yes, I am. Elliot is a great guy, and I'm enjoying our time together."
Nates eyes flashed with anger, and he grabbed your arm a bit too forcefully. "You think you can just forget about me and move on with someone like him? Its laughable." He hissed, "You really can't get enough attention can you? Its pathetic how you're flaunting yourself in front of everyone."
"Flaunting? I'm just having fun with my friends." Your patience wearing thin.
"Friends? Is that what he is?" Nate spat, glancing at Elliot with disdain.
You frowned, hurt by his words. "Yes he's a friend. Whats your problem?" "My problem is that you're acting like you're over me so easily!"
"I am over you, "You shot back "And I'm not going to let your jealousy control my life."
Nate's eyes narrowed, and before you knew it, he had grabbed you by the arms, pulling you closer. The anger and frusrtaion between you between you were like a powder keg, ready to explode. "I don't believe you."
The proximity was overwhelming, and before you could think, you were kissing him out of sheer frustartion. The kiss was fuled by a volatilie mix of emotions. He pulls back, "I hate that you still affect me like this," He confessed.
"Nate, we can't just forget what happened." You said, trying to reason with yourself as much as with him.
"I missed you." Nate whispered."
"I missed you too."
And in that moment, it felt like you were both getting a second chance. The cat and mouse game had brought you face to face with your ex and led you back to each other.
~~
The next day at school, news of your reunion with Nate spread like wildfire. The whispers and gossip filled the hallways. The news quickly reached your closest friends, Maddy and Cassie.
Maddy, with her outgoing personality was the first to speak up. "Okay spill the tea, Are you really back together with Nate?"
You took a deep breath. "Yeah."
Cassie chimed in, "Are you sure thats a good idea, I mean he hurt you before.."
You nodded. "I know its complicated but we've both grown since then. Nate says he wants to do things differently this time, and im willing to see if we can make it work."
Maddy seemed uncovinced, "Promise you'll be careful."
"I promise."
And they were right.
It was a chilly Friday night, and you had decided to surpise Nate as his house. You let yourself in, planning to sneak up and suprise him. However, the sound of hush voices caught your attention. Your steps faltered and a sinking feeling settled in the pit of your stomach.
You walked closer, your heart pounding in your ears. And there, in the dimly lit living room, you saw Nate in an intimate embrace with a half naked girl.
Your voice trembled as you managed to speak up, "Nate? What is this?"
Nate's face turned pale, "Y/n, I'm so sorry, its not what it looks like."
Tears streamed down your face, and you could'nt understand how he could break your trust like this. " You promised you would change Nate."
"I know and I'm sorry. I messed up. But please, just hear me out."
The pain in your heart was overwhelming but a part of you couldn't let go. The bond between you and Nate was strong, and you still loved him deeply. "Okay, one more chance, Nate. But this is it."
But as days turned into weeks, his jealousy and possessiveness took a dark turn. He began isolationg you from your friends and family, claiming he was the only one who truley cared about you.

Inspo: Ruel - END SCENE
Pairing: Maddy Perez x Perez!Male!reader x Cassie Howard
Summary: The two of you watched it fall apart, yet one of you couldn’t stay for long...
Tumblr media
Warnings: Angst and character death
Words: 1836
DNI IF YOU’RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
From the day you were born, you and Maddy were joined at the hip. There wasn’t a day that went by that neither of you was separated from one other. So many experiences the two of you shared had made the inseparability strong. The two of you saw destruction with your friends take place and you were there through the traumatizing experience Maddy experienced with Nate. Promising her that if things were going downhill from there, the two of you would be by one another's side. The two of you would just watch the world fall apart around you and enjoy every second of it until your guys’ last breaths.
And you? What was your traumatizing experience? Well, you had your heart shattered when finding out your girlfriend was hooking up with Nate behind your back. Not even sparing you by ending things before doing so. You didn’t know if it was the fear of what might happen. But you did know that her doing so made your mind fracture. Morals you held high now seemed to dim with you trying to understand how things turned out the way they did.
Why did she cheat? Was it you? Did you not give enough?
All these questions with not so little as an answer for any of them.
But maybe you should’ve understood and expected the worse when things first started. Because they were great for a time, but McKay did warn you of the troubles. Of the possibility of things turning out different from what you may have expected. But being lovestruck, you dismissed them.
And it ended up with you drinking a fifth bottle of Rum. Hoping that the recent events that had transcribed with you and your ex may be forgotten. Maybe you could be happy. Maybe you could just lose your mind a little and be plunged into the warmth of darkness.
It didn’t seem fair in the grander scheme of things. You had to stand there, watching the foundation the two of you built come crumbling to the ground. Levels of the structure being core memories you had of the blonde that had solidified your love for her. And now, it was rubble surrounding your fractured existence in a world that didn’t seem real to you at this point.
Maddy had to stand on the outside and watch what was left of her brother, you, slowly crack and fade. The closure you maybe expected in return for Cassie’s harsh breakup was dismissed with weed and alcohol. She watched you run. Try and escape the pain that reality had placed in your path. And it scared the shit out of her seeing you so broken. So incomplete without Cassie.
But she thought bringing you to this party might allow you to reconnect with people. Hoping that an attempt to heal might be made. She was sadly mistaken. She should’ve known that when she remembered that most parties involved the addition of alcohol. Leaving her to submit to her mistake and try and take care of your drunken state that could barely stand up on its own.
She was scared. Fearful of how long you were going to put yourself through this.
You had managed to get away from your sister. Sitting on the edge of the couch and smoking some dude’s joint that he offered. But your gaze and mind were set on Cassie, who coincidentally was standing in the kitchen with Lexi. And you should’ve stayed sat down. Kept your mouth shut and enjoy this feeling of freedom for a little longer. But the growing knowledge of the fact that she was here built until you couldn’t handle it. Standing on your two untrustworthy legs and stumbling toward the kitchen.
And when you entered, even with the pounding music, it seemed everyone around you quietened down. Not out of some romanticizing way that all these kids try to describe. But like a bad joke in a bar. An awkwardness that was physically painful to be succumbed to. That’s what you got when you entered the kitchen to grab a drink. Feeling the gaze from the sister’s eyes as you poured the Rum into a red solo cup.
Things weren’t supposed to be like this.
Glancing over your shoulder, you found that Lexi had slipped away. Cassie is left to stare down at her feet and sip from her cup. Not daring to make eye contact with you for whatever she may be feeling. Either out of respect or fear of what you might do or say if she says anything or looks at you.
“Night been good?” Your question shook her from her forced gaze. Lifting it for a moment to find you facing her now, a tired look on your face. Circles under your eyes with a casual and slow flow to what you did. If it was blinking, licking your lips, or taking a sip of your drink.
Cassie exhaled heavily. “As much as I like parties, this one is not my taste,” she said, flashing a tiny smile. One that you missed. “Hard to feel welcomed or relaxed when almost everyone hates me.”
You sighed, shrugging as you glanced around. “Yea’, that’s part of it. But half of these people aren’t even going to remember you or me when we all go on with our lives.” You hiccuped, running a hand through your hair. “We will all just be ghosts that won't be thought upon in ten years.”
Something about that made Cassie purse her lips. Tilting her head slightly to stare at you softly with a concerned look taking its place on her face.
No matter the time that may pass, you knew you belonged to her. To the time she made for you. To the way she saw you. Or to how she saw the world. Maybe it was still the pain that made you think this. But you knew that when you tried to place a different girl in her place, you could only see her in their place. Leaving you to pick apart the imperfections of the girl compared to Cassie. And it always left you in a shittier situation.
“Please, Cassie,” you drunkenly pleaded. It was a weak murmur. A pitiful one. Maybe it was the fear that you had for anyone to see you like this. But this was the girl of your dreams you were thinking about- Who was standing in front of you! You couldn’t act like none of this didn’t hurt you. “I need you. We can forget what happened. You are the only thing that makes me care about this life.”
Cassie, being sober and clearly worried about your state, sadly shook her head. “Y/n, we can’t. I’m with Nate now,” she told you. “And I can’t act like I didn’t hurt you. I’m saving you from getting together with me.”
You shook your head, hands grasping hers desperately. “I can’t do this without you-”
“Get your hands off her, Y/n!” Nate appeared, shoving you back, making you stumble back. “Get the fuck out of here before I kick your head in.”
“Fuck off, Nate,” you spat, wiping your eyes. “You being here ruined my relationship. I deserve to talk to her if you decided to take everything away from me.”
“You clearly weren’t giving enough to her, Y/n,” he said. “So, grow the fuck up and move on.”
His words were harsh and a painful reality check. Even through the drunken, wobbling haze resting over your senses, you understood and agreed to a certain extent. But it didn’t alleviate the pain in your chest, unable to restrain the shaky weep that sounded from your trembling lips.
And in an extension of that, you couldn’t stop yourself from shoving Nate back. Having enough strength that moved him back a few steps. “You are a fucking joke, Nate!” You spat. “You put a gun to my sister’s head! You blackmail people to get what you want-”
“Y/n, I suggest shutting up-”
But you interjected the warning. “Or what? Hmm? You gonna beat the shit out of me, Nate?” You barked. “I bet your father would be really proud of you-”
And no one was able to react in time when Nate punched you across the face. The pure strength knocked you on your ass, bashing your head off something in the process.
“What the fuck, Nate?” Maddy exclaimed, running to your aid. Kneeling down and holding your face that twisted and turned in agony. Looking up at her ex and yelling, “You are a real fucking piece of shit Nate, you know that? He’s too fucking drunk to even defend himself!”
I told him to stop, Maddy. He’s too drunk to even fuckin’ listen!” The boy defended. “Keep your brother in check or I’ll fully beat his ass- What the fuck?”
Maddy frowned upon seeing Nate’s eyes flicker to you. But when she looked down, she saw you start to seize. Body shaking violently, eyes rolled to the back of your head. A pool of blood begins to build around the back of your head making everyone start to freak out.
“No. No, no, no. Y/n? Hey, Y/n! Wake up- Wake up, Y/n!” Maddy’s trembling body managed to pull yours onto her lap. Whimpers that had fallen from her lips were now evolving to uncontrolled sobs as foam pooled from the corners of your mouth. “Hey, hey, hey! You’re alright! You’re gonna be fine!” She wiped desperately, hoping you might come back to reality.
“Maddy, is there anything-” Cassie, who was just as worried as Maddy, tried to speak up. But when she looked down at you, she found you still. Far too still. At that point people
But her words were halted when she received a glare that sent a chill down her spine. The complete hatred and wrath that sat in front of her eyes scared her. “Yeah.” Maddy pulled your lifeless figure into her chest, inhaling your scent. “Save everyone the trouble and go fucking kill yourself, Cass.”
Cassie stared at her friend, unable to hide the tears and hurt that she felt. She should allow to hold you just like Maddy was. She should be allowed to mourn you. But from the way Maddy held you so protectively, so desperately, she wasn’t given the privilege.
As everyone filtered out of the house, Maddy still stayed sat on that dirty kitchen floor. Legs feeling the warm touch of your blood with her thumbs stroking over your cheeks. Her bottom lip caught between her teeth as she stared softly down at your lifeless features. The hollowness in your eyes. She used to wonder what rested beyond them.
She guessed she would have to continue to speculate…
Her hand softly held your face, smiling brokenly down at you. A harsh stutter of a inhale racked her chest. Her warm breath fanning your cold features. “We were supposed to lose our minds together.”

Being Cassie Howard’s crush
Warnings : none.
fem!reader x Cassie Howard from Euphoria
— — —
Tumblr media
- Cassie wasn’t into girls.  Not that she was totally repulsed by them, it’s just that she always saw herself in the strong arms of a hyper masculine man, someone that could take care of her and support her in life.  She’s dated guys in the past, but ever since her messy break up with Mckay, she found herself single for the first time ever, as Maddy said.  But she would never for once in her life dream of someone of the same sex, let alone renowned figure skater y/n no no, because that just wouldn’t make sense.  Could it?
- The first time you caught Cassie’s eye was when all her friends were talking about the figure skater that came to the weekend party and just how well you do on the ice.  “She’s literally a swan and I aspire to be her.” Maddie says as everyone looks at her phone, “See did you see that?  She’s fucking amazing.”
- At first, with how much everyone was hyping you up, Cassie labeled the burning sensation in her chest as a raging jealousy.  How could someone like you just show up out of the blue and take something Cassie loved and was good at?  You couldn’t possibly be better than her.  In fact, her dad who got her into ice skating in the first place told her no one was better than her.  And she believed that.
- That was until she saw a recording of your last performance to a classy, instrumental piece that not only enhanced your skating movements, but your beauty.
- Of course, she was stunned and too starstruck to say anything but little gasps of disbelief; One thing was for sure though, she had to see you on the ice herself.  And that she did.
- There was just something so off about you, not off, but so right that it felt so wrong to Cassie.  Almost like she wanted to be you and she was mad at the fact she isn’t you.
- Cassie packed a bag and go to your ice rink after school and pretend to want to skate.  But she didn’t have the money, and her mom didn’t care enough to give her any, so she just sat on the bench and waited for you to get there.  Thankfully, it was packed well enough so that she wouldn’t be seen as suspicious, but still, it felt weird that Cassie was so determined to see you in action.  Like she didn’t believe that someone could look so divine in a leotard and metal skates.
- When you finally show up, Cassie immediately stares at you.  For a moment, she’s full of relief but at the same time she finds her hands starting to sweat and her throat starting to close up.  Surely, this is still jealousy.
- The second you lace up your shoes — your pristine, white shoes — and head out on the ice, is the same second that Cassie is unable to look away.  She questions everything you do, probably because she’s not as advanced as you are in your craft, like how it’s possible to do jump up and spin like that or how it’s possible to twirl for so long.  She’s in awe.
- When you’re done practicing, it’s already well past 4 hours and it finally sinks in that Cassie has been there the entire time, hypnotized by the way your hair swings around and how the corners of your lips curl up into a soft smile as the cold air hits your cheeks.
- That’s when you notice a sort of familiar blonde face, sitting on the furthest bench from the railings, staring at you.
- “Hey,” you wave as you glide to the exit of the rink, “You’re Cassie, right?” Holy fucking shit she fucking knows who I am— “Mhm, yeah.  You’re y/n?”
“Yep.” You smile, “What're you doing here?”
“I...skate.”
“You skate? No way! I thought you just did cheer?”
“I do both, well, I haven’t skated in a few months, I’m a little rusty.  I wanted to practice today or at least get back on the ice.”
“Why didn’t you?”
Of course she can’t say the real reason, “I packed my sisters skates, instead of mine. You know, different shoe sizes.” Nice save, Cassie.
“I hate when that happens, I grab my cousin’s all the time.  Hey but, it’s late and I was actually going to grab dinner from like Panera or something, did you want to come along?  I know someone there and I could actually get our whole meal for free.” You laugh.
Yeah, jealousy, “Sure, I-I’d love to.  Let me just text my mom real quick.”

15- Snowflakes, 🍋
Completed, 30 chapters, “Grey” Fezco O’Neill x black fem reader
Content- nsfw, edging, p in v sex, clit rubbing.
"Oh shit." Rue said, walking into your room. "You actually cleaned it." she was talking about her room.
"I told you I would."
"Yea, I know, but I didn't like actually believe you."
She took a seat on your bed and grabbed the stuffed that Fezco had won you at the carnival.
"You talk to Fez since the raid?"
Her tone is casual, but there's a hint of concern in her voice.
"No, but the police didn't find anything." You said, voice matching hers.
She nods and presses her lips together, and you can tell that there's more Rue wants to say. She plays with the bear for a moment before turning to you.
"I know whatever you and Fez have is complicated and kinda fucked up because of me-."
"Rue, it's not your faul-" You quickly try to tell her, but she speaks over you.
"But it's not gonna like trigger me if you guys get back together." Rue half jokes, trying to ease the sudden seriousness of the conversation. "I know you miss him. Plus, I doubt Fezco has like moved on. He never stops talking about you."
She waves the bear in your face as a sign of his commitment to you, regardless of your official title. You roll your eyes playfully, but your lips hold an embarrassingly genuine smile and take the bear from her. You set it in your lap of and for some reason try to think of an argument against
what she was suggestion, but you didn't know why. Rue was quite literally giving you the green light, but still that instinct to put her first was there.
"I don't-" You pause, unsure of your words. "I don't wanna be a bad sister, Rue. I just- I wanna keep you safe." Your words were raw and you spoke sincerely.
"Thank you." She says your name with the kind of softness you haven't heard from her since you were little kids. "I am safe, and you'll always be a good sister for trying to keep me that way. You and Fezco mean a lot to me, and so does you being happy."
Rue gives you a smile before returning to her room. You sigh and throw your head back, lying flat on your bed with the big stuffed bear lying on you. Gripping like you do before you sleep, you take a breath and let the weight lift from your shoulders. The crossroads seemed to come together as one. And the path lead where you knew it always would.
As a senior, you felt sorta obligated to go to any and every school event, considering that it would be your last chance. At first, you didn't want to go, but truthfully, you couldn't miss the opportunity of seeing Jules and Rue dance together. You weren't completely sure how you felt about her or them together, or even if they were actually together. But Rue cared a lot about her, you just hoped that Jules felt the same way. Walking through the school gym behind them, you smiled as you took in the decorations.
After the three of you found an empty table, you were quickly joined by Cassie, Lexi, and Maddy And eventually Kat. You all greeted and Complimented each other, but there was a clear unspoken separation between you, Maddie and Kat. None of you had spoken since Cassie's McKay dilemma. In all honesty, you weren't really too focused on the two of them, or anyone at the dance for that matter. This year's winter formal would be your first without a date freshman and sophomore year Fezco took you and Junior he who shall not be named did. And yet you were only daydreaming about one of them. Your mind lingered around the idea of him being here. You laughed to yourself at the thought of dancing on him to some song that was definitely too inappropriate for highschoolers. But soon it turned into a sigh and a new thought appeared. Swaying back and forth to the slow music, pressing your head to his chest and just being held.
A notification flashes your phone, you blink and suddenly the fantasy is gone. It was Rue telling you her and Jules were leaving. If it was the beginning of summer you would have maybe freaked out and checked her location to follow her, but right now you didn't really feel the need to. You trusted Rue, and the fact that she told you meant she trusted you too. Things were different now better. You sent her a quick text before taking a big leap of faith and texting Fezco.
"Damn." Fezco comments as you get into his car. "Shit, I see you."
Your glossed lips grow into an ear to ear grin. It's almost embarrassing how giddy he already made you feel.
"Looking all for fine for the school dance, huh. You have fun? " He asks genuinely, his eyes more on you than the road ahead of him.
"Not really." You tell him honestly. "But Rue did, though."
"And why didn't you? I thought you like to dance." Fezco's voice is softer but still carries its natural husk.
"I do, but there was only one person I really wanted to dance with tonight."
Your response is not as ambiguous as you hoped it was, clearly it was pointed at Fezco. He frowns at the thought of him not being there to make your night better. He was occupied with Mouse, but regardless, he still felt bad. Picking up on this, you decided to steer the conversation in another direction.
"But the night ain't over yet, and I really don't feel like dancing no more."
You scan his body up and down, then smile. Before he answers, Fezco does the same.
"Well, what chu feel like doing."
He spoke lowly with a playful teasing tone matching your energy. You shrug and play coy for the rest of the ride. But by the time you got to Fezco's place, you quickly drop the act and make your intentions crystal clear.
"I've been thinkin' bout you all night." You confessed between breathless kisses to Fezco's neck.
He doesn't respond, and instead uses his hand on your jaw to guide your lips to his. He kisses you with a need, a hunger you hadn't felt from anyone except him. It shoots a heat through you, and you stumble a bit as you both walk to Fezco's room. He catches you with his free hand, hooking it around your waist and holding you close to him.
"I got you, baby." He whispers in your ear before pressing a kiss to your jaw, and you hold back a moan.
The two of you were all over each other giggling, laughing and stumbling on the way to Fezco's room. Your dress already unzipped and Fezco's large hands already under it. Gripping at your ass and thighs. Somehow you managed to make it to the room without alerting Ashtray and immediately your dress falls to the floor.
Pulling away from Fezco, you sat on his bed and gave him a moment to admire your body. It had been such a long time since you and him were like this. The last two times you had sex with him were more spur of the moment things fuelled admittedly by alcohol or weed, and that's not what you wanted you and Fezco to be anymore. It's not what you and Fezco ever were or would be.
"All night huh."
Fezco says with a smirk, his cheeks dusted with a darkening pink blush. His voice was deeper than it was in the car, rougher. Quickly, he discards his tracksuit and meets you on the bed.
"All … night." You repeat with a tilt of your head, running your hands over Fezco's now bare chest. "Longer than that, actually."
You take a moment to feel him, and he does the same. It feels different, almost new, but certainly far too familiar. It was like your mind had memorized every small detail of him, every freckle or beauty mark, every scar. All of him was carved on the inside of your mind in a place one but him could reach. You could blame it solely on memory, but you both knew it was more.
Brining his hand to your face Fezco cups your cheek leaning into his touch you give his palm a kiss. He smiles and moves the hand to the back of your neck before pulling you into a kiss. You gasp, but it's caught between each other's lips. With his free hand on your. Taking his free hand off your ass, Fezco hooks it under your thigh and pulls your body closer to his with a grunt, leaving your leg atop his parted from the other one.
A light sparks within you, and you whine as Fezco cups your pussy. He applies pressure gently to your clothed clit, and instinctively you grid into his hand, already desperate for more. The cool air hits your face and the warmth of Fezco's lips find a new home at the base of your neck.
"F-fez." You moaned.
"I know." He mumbles against your sensitive skin. "I know baby."
He intensified his movements, his lips traveling at the same pace as his palm. Slow deep circles matching the strong sucks and light bites send waves of pleasure crashing through your lower stomach. Shamelessly, you lose yourself in the moment and let the feeling grow stronger without any interruptions. Fezco chuckles lightly, and you laugh in response, but it cruelly twists into a sharp gasp and stuttered moan.
Pulling you closer to climax, Fezco whisper dirty little nothing's into your ear. Teasing and conflicting you.
"Just like that." He coaxed, falsely guiding you towards the edge while simultaneously keeping you from it. "Not yet. Not without me." He groaned.
Fezco knew edging was a challenge for you. Your body and mind went against each other, so ultimately the choice was his, and he knew this. But instead of reveling his choice early Fezco rather watch you try to choose of for yourself. Undecided, your hips squirm into and away from his touch, pushing and pulling yourself back and forth, stuck atop that mountain of pleasure and need. And even when you did make the decision to fall off the edge, Fezco throws you back down that hill. He pulls his hand away and the lack of him hits you quick instantly. Before you can react another feeling hits, completely taking over your body, with a harsh smack Fezco brings his hand down to your clit. It catches you off guard and your reaction is immediate, you gasp and attempt to close your legs, but Fezco keeps them open.
"All night." Fezco teases with a cocky smile. "I got you thinking bout me all night, huh. Sitting in that cute ass dress waiting for me."
He continues to work your overstimulated clit with his palm, and you struggle to respond with anything that isn't a broken moan. He laughs at the interesting sound that leaves you, and your heart swells. Your lips can't help but to grow into a hazy smile. Fezco's hand leaves where it was and gently trails up your body, the mood shift to something more peaceful. Hooking his index finger under your chin, he moves your head to better face him before Fezco kisses you.
"I been thinking bout you for a long time." He admits against your lips before away.
You sigh opening your eyes already you miss the feeling. Rolling your tongue over your bottom lip, you try to hold onto what's left of it. It was confusing, even though you were both present and both of your minds were clear. Even though you just being here ensured that things would go back to the way they were before. That fog of confusion and uncertainty still hung over you.
The snap of Fezco undoing your bra instantly clears your mind, and you're met with Fezco's gaze. Those beautiful light blue eyes of his you were sure you'd looked into at least a million times by now. But still every time felt brand new, this one especially. There was just something about looking at someone and seeing everything you could be and everything you were.
"A long time, huh." You joke.
Fezco's chuckles and smiles a toothy grin.
"Longer than that, actually."
He copies your previous words, and you laugh as your head falls onto his shoulder. Fezco wraps his arms around you and falls back on the bed before flipping you onto your back. Leaving him between your parted legs.
"I don't know why you laughing at me, you the one who said it first." He says, pressing his lips to your jaw.
"I'm not laughing at you." You tell him, still laughing but no at the feeling of Fezco's lips on your sensitive skin.
He continues to shower you with kisses as they grow less and less gentle. Fezco releases you from his arms and grips your hips with his hands. Giving them a generous squeeze before pulling them to his with a groan. You gasp and moan at the sudden feeling of Fezco's dick pressing into you. Truly, it caught you by surprise, you'd both been so focused on you that you hadn't realized Fezco was even hard. But now that you were aware, you pushed in, wrapping your legs around him before happily grinding and causing him to take a sharp inhale.
"You somethin' else." Fezco comments, and you smile, taking it as a compliment.
Swiftly, he unwraps your legs and takes your underwear off for you before simply pulling his to his knee's. A cold shiver ran through the both of you as Fezco teases your entrance with his tip. Collecting the result of his edging before stroking himself for a moment. You were both a bit worked up, so it all happened a bit quick. Fezco bottoms out with ease and soft moans, as always he gives you a second to get used to the feeling before moving. But after that he gave you no breaks Fezco picks up a quick pace and keeps his thrust deep shooting pleasure through both of your bodies with every rock of his hips.
"Damn, you feel good." Fezco whispers. "Fuck, I miss this."
His words only add to the complete ecstasy of the moment. God, you missed him, missed this. Every little and large detail. The light, easily ignorable or even unnoticeable feeling of Fezco's gold chain hitting your face as he fucks you. The tickle of his bread as his lips press to your ignited skin. You could feel release speeding towards you, Fezco pushing you closer and closer to the edge. His name spewed from your lips like a broken faucet. Flowing over and over nonstop.
"There you go, there you go." Fezco whimpers, encouraging you through your impending orgasm, knowing his would come less than a second later.
The familiar feeling grows strong and stronger. Wrapping your arms around him, you beg. Beg for him to right there with you. To keep you pinned under him like this, to stay like this forever if it meant never leaving this moment. Your orgasms came and went as they always do, yes you were left feeling satisfied but for some reason more than that you were left feeling exhausted physically, emotionally. And ironically even empty.
"Can we stay like this for a minute." You ask. Beg. Plead with Fezco, who you still hadn't let go. "Please."
He doesn't respond, he isn't sure how to. His instinct was to comfort you any way he could and staying in this position cradling your head and kissing sweet unspoken promises to your skin was at this moment the right way to do it. First your left cheek then right, then forehead and lastly your chin.
Balance and stability.
Fezco's small pink bag had really come in handy tonight. Sex with makeup on was never a good idea, and right now yours was hanging on by a very thin thread. Quickly you cleaned your face then washing and moisturizing it before meeting Fezco in his bed. You climbed into bed next to him, and sleepily he presses a kiss to your forehead. Fezco wraps his arms around you, humming at the contrasting feel of your body on his now and compared to just a few minutes ago. You both say goodnight and there's a beat of silence. Nothing but calm breaths and synchronized heart beats for the one sweet moment, but Fezco could tell there was still more left for you to say, and truthfully there was. You and Fezco were definitely something good, great even, but you weren't some fairy tale. Just because you kissed and "made up" didn't mean that everything could just be swept under the rug. You both wanted to move forward, and conversations like this was how you made it happen. But regardless of the importance or even need of the talk, you were still hesitant on having it.
"You gon tell me what's wrong, or we just gon lay here all night."
You sigh at Fezco's words, hoping he couldn't feel the tension you felt.
"I love you, Fez." You start off on a good foot, but no time getting straight to point. "And I promise that you mean the world to me, but Rue gets into some shit and I find out it has anything to do with you, I'm never gon speak to you again. And I'm definitely not letting you anywhere near Rue."
The words leave your mouth much easier than you thought they would, it wasn't much of a threat, but it was definitely a promise. You were redrawing a line that Fezco had already crossed in hopes of moving forward together. But more important, you were setting a boundary and letting him know what would happen if he broke it.

exactly what he needs, pt. 1 ♡ ⋆。˚
— pairing: nate jacobs x fem!reader
— type: ficlet (going to be multi-chapter)
— summary: nate asks you for private tutoring, using the excuse that no one can find out, due to who his father is—the über perfectionist & king of east highland. you agree, since you've tutored others, and do so through a school program, at that. as such, he'll be no different than the rest who've needed your help. as time goes on, though, and the gifts, phone calls, and texts begin to pile up, as well as him driving you to and from school, and his near-constant insistence on "hanging out", you wonder if nate ever really needed academic help in the first place., or if it was all a ruse for something more troubling to take place.
— tags: homework, studying, tutoring, nate lusting after/fantasizing about you & wanting to make you wholly his
— tw: misogyny, lying, dollification, sexualization
— word count: 4,144
— a/n: this is going to be part of a series, as indicated above. this post will serve as part 1. i promise it will get juicier going forward, i just needed to lay some groundwork for the reader & nate.

After McKay's party and Maddy's fucking another guy in his pool for all to see—completely humiliating and emasculating him—Nate was done with her. No, beyond done. He'd wasted how much time, money, and effort on her? All for her to turn out to be the whore he'd always known her to be.
She was always too loud. Too attention-seeking. Too selfish and spoiled. The kind of girl who used the excuse of being "brutally honest" and a refusal to "take any shit" just to be a bitch to whoever she pleased. And she always got away with it, too.
Well, not this time. Not with him. She was going to learn what being on her own finally felt like.
Besides, she'd never been his type. Not really.
She was nice to look at, sure, and he'd thought her loyal. How fucking stupid he'd been to do so. But that was all she'd had going for her in the end.
And then there had been Cassie—one of the biggest mistakes he'd ever made had been hooking up with her. He'd thought her different than who she turned out to be. She pretended to be so pure and wide-eyed, when in reality she was fucking psychotic and obsessed with him. He couldn't stomach that level of desperation from a girl.
The night she had completely lost in his bedroom, screaming about how "crazy" she was had been the last straw.
And the fact she'd so easily betrayed Maddy? Who knew how long before she did the same to him. That was the last thing he needed to worry about.
Tumblr media
Nate leans back, barely paying attention to what Ms. Clark is teaching the class at-present. His attention is instead focused on you.
You, who's been there since Nate was five-years-old and in kindergarten. You, who's always been quiet and soft-spoken, reserved and smart, sweet and shy, and who had no reputation whatsoever to speak of—he'd even gone so far as to check for you on SlutPages, and you'd been, unsurprisingly, nowhere to be found. You were the very definition of innocent.
You, who didn't dress like a slut or go out of your way to get attention. Hell, you didn't even go to parties or football games. Not that he'd ever seen you at either, at least.
He may've looked for you in the stands last Friday night, for whatever reason, despite knowing you wouldn't be there. But he had hoped, even for a moment.
Personality-wise? You were perfect for him. Exactly what he needed; had needed all along. He could kick himself for not seeing it sooner. But better late than never that he did so now.
The way you dressed? He wasn't sure how he felt about it. It suited you well-enough, sure, but he liked to imagine you in cute babydoll dresses, with your hair down and softly curled, a pair of ballet flats on your feet, as opposed to your usual sweaters or blouses, with plaid or high-waisted skirt, your hair typically in a high-ponytail or bun.
He saw your potential, your beauty. Your potential beauty, even.
He knew he needed an excuse to talk to you again after all these years, as he couldn't remember the last time he'd done so—the beginning of middle-school perhaps? He knew you tutored, so he chose the subject you seemed most passionate about—history—and his plan was set.
He spends the remainder of class watching and admiring you. Your delicate handwriting, the soft look in your eyes, your dainty hands, slim shoulders, and your perfect posture. He becomes so engrossed that he jolts when the bell rings, signaling the end of class, ripped from his daydreams of walking down the halls, your hand in his, soft feminine dresses hanging from your frame, your hair falling in soft waves down your back as every guy sees that you're his now.
As every guy realizes that they can look, but never touch, as he presses kiss after kiss to your pink lips, your soft body pressed between his and the lockers, you quietly giggling as he whispers sweet nothings into your ear as he walks you to your next class.
Ever-polite, you wait until nearly everyone else has rushed out of the classroom before you follow suit.
Nate's already standing behind you and notes how cute it is—your complete obliviousness to his presence. It was refreshing, actually, for a girl not to be throwing herself at him for once.
"Y/N," he says, softly.
You jump, nearly dropping your books. Before you can speak, wondering why he's wanting your attention in the first place—as the two of you never speak—he reaches out, gently taking your books from your arms. He then nods his head toward the door. "I'll walk you to your locker. There's something I'd like to talk to you about."
Completely bewildered, you simply head in the direction of the door and go to your locker. You fumble with the dial for a moment, screwing up the combination the first time, but thankfully getting it on the second.
You take your books from him, placing them all back where they belong before turning to him. "Thank you"
He immediately likes how polite you are. "Welcome," he replies.
As you ready your materials for your next class, you speak again. "So, what did you want to talk about?"
He leans his side against the locker next to yours. How had he never noticed that you were just a few rows down from his own before?
"Before I tell you, I need you to promise me it stays between us. I don't want other people finding out."
It was both a truth and a lie. The lie being that it was, more than anything else, a test. A test to see if even this early on, you'd simply make yourself agreeable to him, if you'd keep a secret simply because he asked you to.
He wants to know how much you'll prod before just caving and giving him what he wants.
You look at him, then. "I..." You trail off for a moment. The first time he speaks to you in how many years and that's the first thing he says to you?
He smirks in understanding of your hesitation. "It's nothing bad, I promise. I'm not about to ask you to hold drugs for me or something."
A bit of reassurance—that much he could offer without issue.
"Okay, I promise."
He fills with satisfaction. Already he can tell you're easily submissive. He hopes for as much, at least.
"I'm uh...I'm not doing too well in history. I got a D on the last test, and I'm close to failing the class as a whole. I was wondering if you'd be willing to tutor me?"
You turn fully toward him, then, filling with understanding. He's ashamed.
You give him a kind, sympathetic look and he adores you all the more for it.
"You don't need to be embarrassed about asking for help, Nate. It's why the school has a tutoring program. You're doing the right thing for yourself." You remove a flyer for said program from your locker, placing your heart-shaped magnet back where it goes. "Here, there's a list of resources and tutors for—"
He immediately cuts you off, shaking his head, placing the flyer back under that same magnet. Because of course you had pastel-colored magnets of hearts and clouds and flowers on the inside of your locker.
He looks at you. "I asked you for a reason. It needs to be kept a secret for a reason. I mean, you know who my dad is: King-Asshole-of-East-Highland. If he found out that I'm almost failing one of my classes, and much more asking for outside help, instead of just taking care of the problem myself..."
He shakes his head again, hoping the my-dad-is-too-tough-on-me-and-expects-nothing-less-than-perfection routine has worked.
You shift from one foot to the other, unable to understand how anyone could see their child taking the steps to actually get help as a bad thing, as a failing, or short-coming. But Cal Jacobs did seem to be nothing if not perfect. Perfect image, perfect job, perfect business, family, home—you name it.
"Why me?" You ask, genuinely curious. There was a whole roster of tutors signed up with the school, not to mention a couple teachers who also offered academic help after-hours a few times a week.
"I've known you my entire life. I trust you to keep this just between the two of us."
Simple enough answer, you think.
You close your locker then. "What subject?"
"History."
Your favorite one, at least. You'd never been the best at math. Had he said it instead, he'd be finding someone else, whether he liked it or not. You'd just get him worse grades in the end, if nothing else.
"Ok, we could um...we could meet at the library. They have study rooms for—"
He interrupts you again. "No, it needs to be your place, if that's ok. I don't want to risk anyone seeing me getting help in public."
Once again, a truth and a lie. More than anything he just wanted—no, needed—to get you alone and all to himself.
"Oh." You hesitate for a moment, but don't really have any excuse as to why you can't do it at your house. So, you relent. "That's fine, I guess. When did you want to start?"
"Today, if that's cool with you."
That soon, you think.
You nod. "Today is fine." Your brows furrow. "Do you know where I live? If not, I could give you my address?"
He smirks. "Or I could just drive us there. I have my truck. You won't have to take the bus."
Wouldn't that arouse suspicion among his friends? Them suddenly being seen together? "Your friends won't ask questions?"
He'd not thought of that. Stupid. He simply shrugs, pretending not to care. "If they do, I'll just tell them to mind their own business."
You raise a brow for a moment, doubting they will, but suppose it doesn't really matter to you either way. It was his secret that he was desperate to keep, not yours.
The bell rings, letting you know you have two minutes to get to your next class. "Ok, I'll see you after school then."
"See you then," he replies with a smile.
Tumblr media
Once school has let out for the day, you nearly go to get on the bus, then remember just before walking up the first step, that you're being driven home by Nate today.
It was strange to think about: you, with Nate Jacobs, in his truck.
Even when you were little the two of you had never exactly been friends. But you supposed that could always change. Not that you were sure that you wanted it to.
It seemed like wherever Nate went, drama followed. First with Maddy and whatever had happened weeks ago at McKay's party. Something had happened the night of the fair—something bad—but no one would talk about it. And then he'd apparently gotten with Cassie, which was...a recipe for disaster, to put it plainly.
You didn't like drama. Didn't like the people who seemed to thrive on it. And he certainly seemed to be one of them. Someone who was always in the middle of it, at least.
Then you tell yourself you're just being silly. You're going to be tutoring him, that's all. You doubted it would ever even build up to friendship.
Once you've made it into the parking lot proper, you begin to scan it, looking down row after row of vehicles until you see Nate watching you, a smirk on his face as he leans back against the front of his Dodge pickup.
You wait as a car passes, then finally come to stand in front of him, suddenly feeling nervous.
"You ready?"
As he looks down at you, you only just now realize how much of a disparity there is between your heights. You look up at his towering form, suddenly incredibly self-conscious of how short you are. Somehow it makes you feel childlike...
Meanwhile, Nate absolutely eats it up. It'd be all too easy to toss you around on a bed like a ragdoll, he thinks.
Finally, you nod.
You both walk around to the passenger side, but before you can ask him—your brows now furrowed—what he's doing, he opens the door for you to get in. "Oh, thank you," you say, climbing into the oversized truck. Who needs vehicles these big...
"Welcome," he says, shutting the door.
As you buckle yourself in, setting your backpack at your feet, you watch as he walks around the front of the truck to get in and internally cringe, wanting to try and climb down into the floorboards to hide, when you see Cassie staring directly at you. If looks could kill, you would've been dead instantly.
You want to get out and tell her it's not what she thinks it is, but you're broken from your staring straight back at her when Nate closes his door and the truck revs to life. After buckling himself in, he looks at you, noticing you've now gone pale.
No way you considered him opening your door as him having already gone too far in your mind.
"Everything okay?"
You look at him. "Cassie is staring at us. I think she might think that we're-"
He puts the truck into gear, pulling out of the lot. "Who gives a damn what she thinks."
Tumblr media
Once the two of you are on the road, you clear your throat. "Do you know where I live?"
In truth, he doesn't. "No, sorry, you'll have to give me directions."
And you do, until, finally, he pulls into your front driveway.
You're not sure why your stomach is full of butterflies. Perhaps because no one comes over to your house. Ever. You're almost always here alone. Your dad is the only parent you have left—your mother having signed over full-custody of you to him when you were too young to even remember her, and he's always away for work—so hosting company isn't exactly a regular thing.
The house is clean, and you'd also recently been grocery shopping, so it isn't as if you have anything to worry about.
The two of you exit his truck and you make your way to the front door, quickly unlocking it.
Once you've both entered the house, you watch nervously as he takes in the living room.
Your house isn't anything special. It has all the necessities for living and comfort, but it isn't like something out of a magazine.
You tell yourself you're fine with that.
You silently slip off your shoes and Nate does the same, following your lead. You then step onto the plush carpet and turn back to him, still standing before the door. "I'm going to go change and then we can start. The dining room is this way," you say, nodding your head to the right.
You walk through the entryway, into the aforementioned room. You set your backpack down on a chair, then walk straight ahead, through the kitchen, and into your bedroom around the corner.
It's only a moment, but while you change, Nate snoops.
He notices how little your house seems to be lived-in. How neat and tidy and damn-near spotless it is.
And that the two of you are alone.
He silently unzips your backpack, quickly rifling through it. A couple textbooks, some fantasy novel, and your binder. He wants to go through every folder, but refrains, knowing he doesn't have the time and it's too big of a risk. He's fairly certain he won't find anything interesting in it anyway.
Finally, he sits, pulling his history book and tonight's homework out of his own.
When you finally enter the dining room again, Nate looks up. He isn't sure what kind of outfit he'd been expecting, but sweatpants and a light-purple t-shirt hadn't been it.
He wishes you'd worn something that shows off the beautiful body you have instead. Not...that.
He mentally shrugs. You're in your home, trying to be comfortable. He actually really likes that you hadn't put on something meant to impress him.
You aren't fake. Another thing he really likes about you. Not that he's making a mental checklist, or anything.
He sees you eye the other side of the table, but before you can take another step toward it, he pushes out the chair next to him with his foot.
You stop for a moment, then decide sitting next to him is fine, too. So you take the seat he's offered you and notice he's already pulled out his history book and the worksheet you'd both been given for homework as well.
You'd already done yours during your free period.
You slide the book over to yourself and flip it open to the period of history your class is currently working through.
"You're in luck, because the period of history we're going over right now is actually my favorite."
He rests an arm on the wooden dining table, turning toward you. "Oh yeah? What's that?"
You raise a brow. "You don't even know what time period we're working through?" You ask with a smile.
He grins in response. "To be completely honest, I don't really give a shit about history. I know, I know. The whole, if you forget, you're going to repeat it shit. I guess I just don't believe any of that."
"I don't think it's that serious. But if you hope to pass and get past junior year, having the credit for this core class is imperative. And it's the Dark Ages, by the way. Also known as the medieval period."
He snickers. "Imperative, huh?"
You withdraw into yourself. He's making fun of you.
He quickly notices the smile disappear from your face and realizes how he'd sounded. "I'm sorry, I'm not trying to mock you. It's just... Nobody talks the way you do. Not at East Highland, at least."
You pretend to take interest in the book sitting before you. "And what way is that?"
"I don't know. Intelligently, I guess." He says it with a shrug.
You give a small smile at that, and he knows he's off the hook.
He sets the worksheet Ms. Clark had given for homework between the two of you.
"Do you know all of this?"
You look at him and nod. "I already got mine done."
"Of course you did. So," he looks down at it. "What is the name of the English civil war fought between the years of 1455-1487?"
He looks at you then.
You glance down to the book. "I don't know, what was the name of it?"
He shakes his head, a playful look on his face as he begins to skim through the pages. He looks up to you, then. "I could just Google all of this."
You lean back in your seat. "You could. But the point of reading the material and studying it, is so you have a chance of actually remembering it when there's a test. Hopefully for even longer, like, once you've graduated as well."
He shrugs again. "It's not all bad, I guess. Also gives me an excuse to talk to you."
He was putting his motives right out in the open now. But instead of you seeing this study session, this request for tutoring as exactly that—a motive to get close to you and make you his—you blush.
You don't know what to say in response, so you just give him the answer. "It's the War of the Roses."
He stares at you for a moment longer, then writes down what you've said.
He leans back. "So, why is this your favorite period of history?"
You look at him. "I guess the romanticism of it, even if it wasn't an entirely romantic time period. Civil war, the plague, men beheading their wives... Did you know most high-fantasy takes its inspiration from this time period?"
He shakes his head, content to continue listening to you talk about something you're passionate about. He likes the way you light up when you do so.
You grow quiet. "Sorry, that sounded stupid."
He shakes his head, resting his arm on the back of your seat. "I don't think so. I may not care for history, but I think it's sweet that you do. I mean, I'm into football. But I'm sure that, just because you're not into it, you'd never call me being on the team stupid."
You look at him. "No, I wouldn't."
He looks over the next question. "Have you ever been to any of our games?"
You shake your head. "Sports aren't really my thing."
"Not everybody comes for the actual game. Some just come to have a good time; get out of the house." He looks at you. "We have another game next Friday. Think you'd be interested?"
He can just imagine it now: you in the stands, your hair in pigtails, wearing one of his old jerseys, cheering him on. And then you running into his arms as he scores the winning touchdown, wrapping your legs around his middle as he lifts you, you bringing your lips down to his.
You telling him how proud you are of him.
You shrug, now feeling awkward at wanting to tell him no. So you don't. "Maybe."
Better than a no, he thinks. He has nearly two-weeks to convince you into a yes.
Tumblr media
Once Nate has completed his worksheet and you've checked it for any wrong answers—he'd surprisingly only had a couple—he packs up his things to head home.
You walk him to the door. "You did really good today. Only two wrong answers."
He slips on his shoes. "Well, I have a good teacher."
You smile, letting out a small laugh. "We'll see just how good after our next test."
He clears his throat. "So uh, I was thinking, maybe I could pick you up tomorrow morning? I could start driving you to and from school as a whole. I'm sure my truck beats riding a bus twice every day."
You blanch. "N-no, it's fine, really. I don't mind. And not that you have to continue doing it, but driving me home is more than enough. I don't want to be any trouble."
He shakes his head. "No trouble. It's on my way, really. I'd like to."
He dislikes your hesitancy, even if he understands it. He knows he's coming on too strong right now, but he feels like he can't fucking help himself.
After sitting there with you for the past hour, listening to your voice, smelling your sweet scent, you blushing and laughing at the things he said—not to mention him having to excuse himself to the bathroom at one point to get the erection you'd given him to go back down—he knew he needed more of you. Afternoon study sessions weren't going to be nearly enough.
He leans against the doorway, refusing to leave until you've given him what he wants—how little do you know that's soon to be your future as a whole. Him not stopping until you've caved for him. "Listen, I'm the one who's the burden here. I know tutoring is a thing you do anyway, but not like this. I really appreciate it; you have no idea how much. This is just some small way of me trying to say thank you. Of trying to repay you."
You shift from one foot to the other. "Only if you're sure..."
"Positive."
He fishes his phone out of his pocket. "We should probably exchange numbers, just incase something comes up one morning and one of us is sick, or a I get a flat, or whatever. Or if one of us has to leave school early."
You nod. "Ok."
After you give him your number, he shoots you a text. A simple 'hi'.
You smile at him. "I got it."
He puts his phone back away, determining that today was full of small victories, bringing him a step closer to making you his. "I can pick you up a little after seven. That work for you?"
You nod, your stomach now full of butterflies again. Not because of some crush you'd suddenly developed in the last hour. No. You were worried about vile rumors being spread around the school.
You getting into his truck today, you were sure, had probably already bred one or two of the vicious things.
What the hell had you gotten yourself into?
You nod. "That's fine."
He gives you a smile. "See you then."
"See you," you reply as he leaves.
You watch from the front door as he drives away.

East Highland's Notorious - Chapter 2
AO3 l Chapter 1
Fezco x reader
Summary: You never proclaimed yourself to be a nice person or a good girl because no one expected you to be one. If someone perceived you as one that was their fault. Life wasn't easy but Fez made it bearable.
Tumblr media
Things had been weird since the whole Mouse incident as (Y/N) was ignoring me still pissed about the money and she was ignoring Fez too. She didn’t hate him she was just putting distance between them to give her time to get over her crush. So it went from talking every day, to every other day, and less and less. If she did respond it was just one-word responses. She missed staying at Fez’s as things were starting to get rough at home. She was depending on the money that she saved over the summer to feed her and her parents since the money they got they used to buy drugs and on nights when they were on a bender she would end up locked outside the house having to sleep on the porch until they got back. She was having a bad week.
“Bitch are you listening?” Maddy said snapping me out of my thoughts. “No stopped listening around long-distance.” I said remembering the last thing we were talking about was Cassie and Mckay.
“What’s up with you?”
“It's been a rough week.” I said with a sigh as I got another text from Fez which I ignored leaving him on read. “Still ignoring Fez.” Maddy asked.
“I’d rather go back to talking about Cassie and Mckay.”
“Stop being such a coward and fucking talk to him, you put up a fight for everything else. Why not him?”
“I’d rather die than put myself in that situation and once I get over him I’ll talk to him like normal again. Besides I have bigger worries right now.”
“Like what?”
“Money problems.” I said glaring at Rue from across the cafeteria and she looks away when our eyes meet.
“Hey do any of you guys know how BitCoin works?” Kat suddenly asks. Maddy and Cassie shake their heads and I take advantage of the situation. “No, but for 10 dollars I can take you to someone who does.”
“You can’t just take me for free.”
“Did you not just hear me say I’m having money problems? I need gas money and you got the friend discount I usually charge 25.”
“Fine.” Kat agrees and I tell her to meet me after school.
After school I call Ash asking him if he was at the store and I was gonna bring a friend who needed information on BitCoin. “Why? You know how it works.” He said.
“Ok we know that but she doesn’t and I need cash, so I ain’t telling her for free.” I said and saw Kat coming my way. “Just do me this favor.” After hanging up we get in my car and after she gives me the money I drive her to the gas station. I was so busy focusing on getting cash I completely forgot that Fez would be here too. Fez was outside smoking when we got here and I avoid looking at him as we go inside and I call for Ash.
“Hey, (Y/N).” Fez said as I sat atop the counter next to the register.
“Hey…” I said staring at my feet finding them entertaining. I was glad Ash had come out from the back and he sat down next to me on the counter to breakdown BitCoin for Kat.
“It’s a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system.”
“I literally have no clue what you’re talking about.” Kat said and I shake my head.
“There’s literally no easier way to explain it.” I said and she looks at me suspiciously. “I thought you didn’t know how it works.”
“I don’t, but I can’t help you if you’re stupid.” I said and she looks at me taken aback. “Shit sorry, I’ve been getting no sleep.”
“Look why don’t you just tell us what you’re trying to do, and we can tell you how we can help you.” Fez said.
“Unless it’s human trafficking. I don’t fuck with human trafficking.” Ash said.
“I’m not human trafficking.” Kat clarifies. “Yeah, us neither.” Fez said.
Kat starts to explain what she was trying to do but I quickly stop her. “First give me another 10 dollars.” I said to Kat holding out my hand and rolling her eyes she gives me the cash. “I was just wondering if it’s like a good way to anonymously get money online.” She explained.
“That’s literally what it’s made for.” I said like it should have been obvious.
“Dumbass.” Ash said and I nod my head agreeing. “What a waste of a trip. Oh wait I got 20 dollars out of it.” I said laughing. “If you give me 5 dollars I’ll drive you home.” I said and she glares at me.
“I’m fucking with you. Get in the car.” I said getting down from the counter. I say bye to Ash and give a half-hearted wave to Fez as we walk past him but he grabs my hand.
“Yo, can we talk for a second?”
“No time I gotta go to work after I take her home sorry.” I said slipping my hand out from his.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I started taking on more hours to make up the cash I had lost which meant getting off later and getting less to no sleep if my parents locked me out. But it made avoiding Fez easier except for when he showed up at the restaurant giving me no choice but to talk to him. I should have expected to do this sooner or later, especially after blowing him off at the gas station.
“How long are you gonna stick around?” I asked him as I came to clear his plate and give him the check.
“Till you get off, didn’t see yo car thought I could drive you home and could finally talk.”
“I’m working late, so no need to wait up. I’m sure there’s money to be made somewhere.” I said and left for the kitchen setting the plate down. I go back to Fez to get his money for the bill and he hands me a 50.
“Keep the change.”
“That's too much for a tip.” I said not wanting to take his money. “Don’t worry about it.” He said not taking no for an answer and reluctantly I keep the change.
After clocking out I go to the bathroom to change out of my uniform and I consider just sneaking out the back to avoid Fez but like he read my mind he waits for me near the bathroom giving me no chance of escape. Once we’re in the car he doesn’t start it right away so we just sit in awkward silence as I find anything to stare at out the window.
“So like what's going on with us?” He breaks the silence.
“Nothing, just been crazy busy.” I said playing with my fingers.
“Can you at least look at me.” He said and hearing the sadness in his voice I comply. He reaches for my hand but I pull it back from his reach “I’m really tired so can you just take me home, please.”
“Can you at least tell me, why you been avoiding me? Like for real.” He said starting the car. “I’m just trying to get things back to how they were, you know before the summer.”
“And like what does that mean?”
“You see me like a little sister and I don’t see you- look I don’t know how to explain it.” I said frustrated and looked out at the passing scenery.
“Don’t do that, just say what you gotta say.” He said and finally taking Maddy’s advice to stop being a coward I decide to just spill. I could always just jump out of the car and hope it kills me if it doesn’t work out.
“Fine. Am I really just a little sister to you? Like nothing more?” I asked looking down at my lap. “That’s what- hold on.” He said and pulled over. He brings his hand to my chin making me look at him and I become even more nervous under his gaze.
“Is this about that shit, I told Mouse?” I nodded my head at his question. “Nah, I just said that so he wouldn’t try no shit on you. Of course, you are more than that to me.” He clarifies but it's still not enough clarification for me.
“Like a friend you fuck around with more or like-”
“Like your my girl, more.” He states cutting me off and I smile. “I would love to be your girl.” I said shyly and leaning in he kisses me.
“Can’t believe you’ve been giving me the cold shoulder over that.” He said in disbelief.
“What did you expect from me? You weren’t exactly defining what our relationship was and I was trying to figure it out all summer.”
“Didn’t think I had to, thought it was obvious. And shit, you didn’t say nothin.”
“Like hell I would, you know what this isn’t about me.” I said kissing him as a distraction. After sharing a few more kisses he continues taking me home and as my house comes to view I see my dad’s car gone which meant the house was empty and I was locked out. I didn’t want to worry Fez so I didn’t tell him and pretended everything was normal. After much convincing, I told him he didn’t have to wait for me to go inside and after kissing him goodbye he leaves. I walk up to the front door hopefully trying the door knob but it was locked and I sigh defeated.
I sit on the ground leaning against the front door and prepare for a long night outside again wishing I could just change the locks and lock them out for a change. However, I would never do that cause even though my parents were practically fucking useless except for somehow keeping a roof over our heads I’d seen them angry and I’d hate for it to be targeted at me. It’s just a rule you don’t piss off a drug addict especially when you have to live with them. As I was accepting my fate I was considering sucking it up and calling Nate and hear a car stop in front of the house and when I look up I see Fez getting out of his car. I should’ve known he was gonna circle around and catch me in my lie.
“How’d you know?” I asked him as he got closer.
“Yo dad’s car is gone which means they’re out doing whatever and you're locked out.”
“Well aren’t you a great listener.” I said sarcastically as I stand up and hug him. “Thank you.” I whispered into his chest and he kisses the top of my head. “Let me take you home.” He said grabbing my bag for me off the ground and taking my hand with the other.
“Your house feels more like home than mines does anyway.” I said as I got back in his car.
“Good to hear, 'cause even though he won’t admit it Ash misses having you around.”
“Of course he does, who else is gonna bother him.”
When we get to his house I go to take a shower and when I get out I realize I don’t have any clothes to change into and walk into his bedroom with just a towel and see Fez putting some clothes down on his bed. When he sees me he looks away shyly with a light blush on his cheeks and I smile to myself finding his shyness cute. “Sorry, can I borrow some clothes?”
“Uh yeah here.” Turning back to me he hands me the clothes he had set down on the bed. It was actually some of my clothes that I must have left behind from previous times. “Thanks.” Without thinking I start to remove my towel and he immediately turns back around sitting on his bed with his back to me. “Sorry.” I apologized for not warning him.
“Okay, I’m done.” I told him as I sat down on his bed and he turned back to face me. We fall into a silence staring at each other before I release a nervous laugh looking away first. “It feels different, now that we’re together.” I said playing with my fingers in my lap.
“Different like how?” He asked scooting closer to me and takes my hand into his. “A good different like I’m nervous because I’m used to sleeping on the couch instead of in here with you.”
“Don’t be.” He reassured kissing me. “We can take it slow or whatever you want.”
“Thank you for everything Fez.”
“No need.” He kissed me again. I feel his tongue against my bottom lip and I open my mouth for him letting his tongue intertwine with mine. His hand goes to my hip kneading at it lightly and I lay down on his bed pulling him with me as we continued kissing until we have to pull apart for air. Cuddling into his arms I end up falling asleep as a week's worth of lack of sleep caught up to me.
I woke up early in the morning to catch up on homework and make breakfast for Fez and Ash. I was working on my homework at the kitchen table when Ash woke up before Fez and came into the kitchen smelling the food making himself a plate. “What are you doing?” He asks sitting with me.
“ Late homework. Help me out?” I said passing him my math homework with a 20. He takes it and starts working on it as he eats breakfast. Fez came into the kitchen smiling as he saw us at the table kissing my cheek before grabbing some food and sitting with us. “You want a ride to school?” He asks me.
“No need, Nate’s gonna take me.” I answered not looking up from my assignment and missing his look of annoyance. “Nah, I’ll take you.”
“And once again no need.” I said not wanting to inconvenience him.
“Just tell him, I got you.” He said and I finally look at him. “Nate already’s on the way. Why are you making this such a big deal?” I asked and my phone rings getting a message from Maddy telling me they were outside. “And he’s here. Thanks again.” I told Ash grabbing my homework from him and putting it in my bag and Fez walks with me to the door.
“See you later.” I said kissing him.
“I’ll pick you up after.”
“Thanks but-” I stop seeing his smile drop. “I would appreciate it, miss you already.” I said kissing him again before leaving.
“Uh are you good?” Maddy asked me as we were walking to class. “Yeah, I need some advice. So you know I’m used to using Nate for stuff like rides to school or getting him to spoil us on our shopping trips and stuff. And I think Fez is like…”
“Is jealous?” She finishes and I shake my head.
“Not jealous more like bothered by our friendship.”
“I get that Nate’s been your friend for a long time and you two trust and depend on each other. But you need to start depending on Fez the same way or it's gonna seem like you don’t need him and you don’t want him to feel like second place.” She explained and I sighed annoyed yet still confused.
“Is that how you feel about Nate and me?”
“No, after you set us up you took a step back giving us space, which is what you need to do for Fez.”
“Why is dating so complicated?” I whined.
“At least you’re not dating Nate he’s even more complicated along with being a dick.”
“Don’t I know. What’s the new trouble in paradise?”
“You’re not gonna believe me if I tell you.”
“Now you have to spill.” I said curiosity piqued and she pulls me aside in the hall lowering her voice.
“Okay, so last night I went through Nate’s phone and…” She looks around and I wonder if she found the messages between him and Jules. “And?”
“He had dicks on his phone.”
“Like his own or…”
“No other guy's dicks.” She said and I can’t attempt to hide my look of shock.
“I actually have no words and that’s too crazy to be made up. You don’t think he’s gay, do you? Cause Nate’s like the definition of straight toxic masculinity.”
“I know he’s like super straight but…” She says in thought.
“I think you gotta talk to Nate about it, he might not like you going through his phone but it is weird.” I advised.
“Ugh, you’re right dating is complicated.” She complained hugging me and I smile hugging her back.
After school I see Fez’s car waiting for me outside and on the way to his car Nate comes up to me to remind me about the carnival. “My parents wanted me to invite you to come to help out at the booth for the chili contest."
“Why?” I whined. I had only met Nate’s dad and brother before and that was enough for me.
“You made a good impression on him and now my mom wants to meet you and you know they both-”
“Hate Maddy.” We say simultaneously and he nods his head. “No offense I’ve met your dad and your idiot of a brother I don’t wanna meet your mom.”
“Look I’m not fucking thrilled either but just do it, just stick around for Maddy I invited her too. Stay for a few minutes and that’s it.” He said then looked at my hands. “And get a manicure.”
“I’m sorry you’re forcing me to spend time with your family and get a manicure.” I scoffed annoyed walking off but he grabs my wrist roughly stopping me. “I’m not joking (Y/N), just do what I say.” He said coldly giving me some cash for the manicure before walking away. I rub my wrist to ease the pain before remembering Fez and rush to the car.
“Sorry about that.” I told him as I got in the car. “It’s alright, what did he want?” He asks gesturing to the money in my hand and I put it in my pocket.
“Just paying me back for something.” I shrugged not wanting to explain the complicated ways of Nate Jacobs.
When we get back I got his room to put my stuff down and wanting to talk to him we sit down on the bed. “I wanted to say sorry about this morning, I’m so used to figuring stuff out myself or having Nate do stuff for me that I don’t want you to feel like I don’t depend on you or need you.”
“Nah, I get that you been friends for like a long time or whatever but I would appreciate it if you let me help you out like he does for you.” He said.
“I swear I’ll try, no I will. I just don’t wanna make you feel bad or anything.”
“It’s alright baby, we’re good.” He said kissing me and grabbing my waist pulls me into his lap. I straddle his lap, wrap my arms around his neck, and bit his lip teasingly and he squeezes my waist in response. His lips trail from my lips to my jawline down to my neck sucking lightly on the skin and I hum in delight. He goes to my collarbone and I roll my hips into his causing him to release a groan but before we go any further there’s a loud knocking and banging coming from the front door.
“You expecting someone?” I asked sliding off his lap.
“Nah, but don’t move alright? I’ma go get rid of them.” He said kissing me one last time before getting up and I nod my head obediently. The banging on the door didn’t ease up until Fez got there and after waiting for awhile I heard yelling and banging coming from the door again and go to see what was happening. As I get closer to the door I hear Rue’s voice.
“Open the door! Open the door! Open the door.”
“I can’t do it, Rue. I’m sorry.” Fez says leaning his head on the closed door listening to Rue blame him for her problems. He faces away from the door and I see the sad heartbroken look on his face and take him into my arms.
“I’m so fucking serious. If you don’t open this door right now, I swear to god, I will hate you, till the day I fucking die.” She threatens and shaking my head I take Fez’s hand and take him away from the door.
“I’m sorry.” He tells her one last time before we walk away and we sit down on the couch together just hugging each other.
“You did the right thing. There’s not much we can do but it's a start.” I tell him attempting to cheer him up. “And she didn’t mean any of it, its what addicts do, she’ll calm down and come to her senses eventually.”
“I know.” He whispered. “Thank you for being here.” He kissed my forehead and I smile at him cuddling further into him. We spent the rest of the day just watching movies Ash eventually joined us later and I can’t help feeling truly at home with them.
