Love Sky to Love Sea connection

Alright, so I was going over everything following the news that our beloved FortPeat are going to be the main couple in a new show for Mame.

And if you have been partaking in Mame BLs for a while, you may be aware that all of her novels and the shows that are based on them have existed in the same universe up until this point (a la the MCU). Following the creation of MeMindY she has not cast previous actors from her shows into new roles, instead having them return in cameos as the universe progressed forward.

It's easy to understand why she would choose this moment to recast FortPeat (and very likely BossNouel, but that confirmation will come in a couple of days). The chief reason of course being money, Love in the Air was arguably one of her most successful series, equaled only by TharnType. This is due to the stories, the performances, and also just luck of timing. The boom of BL shows for international audiences, from what I can tell, occurred in late 2021 - early 2022, with shows like Cutie Pie and Kinnporsche (and the impeccable chemistry presented in both) being some of the most common first forays into BL. I have only assumptions and inferences as to why this is, I think the popularity of shows like Love Victor and HeartStopper on streaming services led more people to essentially google more queer media, and found that there is a rather awesome amount being produced in Thailand, but in South East Asia and East Asia altogether. I also know a number of people were on the K-Drama to BL pipeline, assisted by Netflix and Viki. But back to my point, generally I think the popularity of MewGulf and JaFirst locally, or at least within SEA is fairly equal, but the inclusion of a much larger international audience at the time when Love in the Air came out has created a level of popularity that I don't think Mame expected.

I think another very valid reason why Love in the Air is incredibly popular is that while it exhibits some of her 'classic Mame' tropes like histories and instances of SA, and her ever-present 'No Kink', it is arguably one of the less problematic stories that we've seen on screen so far form her. (And this is coming from someone who actually likes a lot of Mame's stories, though I'd imagine my affection for brat-type characters is a leading cause of this.) This means that for many viewers for whom this was a first foray into Mame's universe and characters were not being immediately put off by some of the more problematic scenes and storylines presented in previous shows.

Mame has most certainly observed the potential for success in recasting these well-liked actors/pairs in other companies, top of said list being pairs like ZeeNunew, EarthMix, FirstKhaotung, and many others. So to take a pair whose chemistry and ease onset is equal to those and cast them in a new role, while breaking a previously established 'rule' is certainly a choice where the potential benefits far outweigh the risk. Literally the only 'risk' is potential confusion from those that are aware of the fact that ALL of Mame's work exists in a single universe, which if you came in on the LITA train is not likely to be something you would know. You may know of the clear connection to Sailom and Nuea presented in Wedding Plan, but connections to the further universe beyond LITA are limited to two rather small cameos that even I didn't pick up on immediately. (These cameos being the brief appearance of the twins and Leon from Don't Say No.)

So, I wanted to give an idea of what exactly is the connection between their existing LITA characters, but also the kind of show why it's really not going to be as big of a deal as far as causing confusion. This is a diagram of the existing Mame universe in terms of her novels, I've updated it as needed to include the connections to Prapai and adding in the Love Sea story as well. I have included a link to the original as well.

I've placed stars for the LoveSky/LoveStorm stories and then added ones by Love Sea and The Boy Next World (which we anticipate to star Boss and Noeul). Because the universe is so large, it is a bit confusing, so I did break it down into more simplified connections.

Hearts represent romantic relationships and the dashes are platonic. most of them are just friendships of various types, though Tharn and Pookan are cousins. But as you can see there is at least 5 people between the characters in LITA and the actors' new characters. So even in-universe the likelihood of these characters ever meeting would be slim, but beyond that the connection of LITA to the over-arching Love by Chance universe is pretty tenuous as previously mentioned.

In the case specifically of Love Sea, this is an unpublished novel, so it's possible Mame will remove or choose to leave out any mentions to the greater universe (meaning either changing the name of Kom's character if he is present in the scripted version, or leaving him out altogether). In the case of The Boy Next World, Pookan is related to Tharn, but let's be honest, do we really expect Mew to show up in a cameo? He's already moved on from Mame, TT, and the MewGulf ship. At best we may get fanservice in the way of a name drop, and it's possible we could see other characters from TT, but I'm skeptical. Since Pookan barely shows up in TT at all, the better option, especially with the passage of time since the first season of TT came out, is to have him be Tharn's cousin, but have him attending university after Tharn has graduated. And that's really only if you want to include that connection, you really don't have to. Given the amount of detail that we get about secondary characters in a lot of these shows, it wouldn't really be that difficult to simply rename any characters that cross over into the greater universe because there's just not going to be enough specific detail to really connect them.

I did also want to include the small amount that we know about Fort and Peat's new characters. We of course don't have much information yet, but there was some crumbs dropped at the recent fanmeet and appearances.

Their characters are Mahasamut(Fort) and Tongrak(Peat). Mahasamut is the son of a hotel owner who after a falling out is now living on his own. It looks as though he is quite young, along the same age of Fort IRL, and he is working as a tour guide to support himself. He is someone who is, I would say, likely lower income, and he's very ambitious and at this current time his goal is to kind of amass a certain amount of savings. He is running his own company as a tour guide and is considered very popular among foreigners both because he can speak good English but also because he is very charismatic. The information given at the fanmeet also includes that he has a diving certificate and is also good at fighting. How that will come up in the story, I don't know.😂

If their hints are to be believed, these characters will be in the same age dynamic as Fort and Peat meaning that Peat's character Tongrak will be older than Fort's character. Tongrak is a writer, specifically of romance novels. He is wealthy, though it is unclear if that is through his career or familial wealth. There's a strange emphasis on how beautiful he is, but in fairness Peat does very accurately fill that criteria. It also says that he does not talk about having a partner, he goes his own way, tends to be a loner. And this is with the implication that this is a result of past negative romantic experiences. Because Mame is who she is, there's also a possibility that part of his solitude is the result of past violence from a previous partner. Fort and Peat did state that they felt the story for this series is more challenging than Love Sky (which honestly scares me a little). But out of all of the stories Mame has told so far, I did feel that Sky's story was handled the best, so hopefully that trend continues.

It's not clear currently if Mame will be directing this series as well, previously she has only directed Wedding Plan, while all of her other series, even those produced by MMY did have other hired directors. We can see from the behind the scenes footage that even with a separate director, Mame was heavily involved in the filming, so her touch will be there regardless.

As far as further timelines, based on past series it is usually about 5-6 months from announcement of a series (and the cast) to the premiere of said series. It does depend on many different variables. The length of the show being one, as well as the level of difficulty. LITA was a more complex series with some pretty large set pieces (the night time races) and more complex scenes in terms of filming (the Stop and Payu race) in comparison to Wedding Plan. Since we don't have a published novel to study and theorize about potential scenes and the difficulties of filming, I can't really give much insight. I will say that the specific inclusion of the fact that Mahasamut holds a diving certification could indicate some diving/underwater filmed scenes. While those are not necessarily super complex, they can be time consuming, require special permits, are very weather dependent, and would require special filming equipment. I also very sincerely hope that if Mame does venture in that direction that she will also make sure that specialists with the necessary expertise are on set to maintain the safety of both the cast and crew. I know what the requirements are in western media, but not in Thailand. What all this boils down to though is that I would not expect the series to premiere earlier than February, and I'd put my bets on March. It's possible she may film a special trailer like she did with LITA, and if that happens, then we may see footage in late November or December, if not I expect a trailer after the New Year. A lot of this actively depends on when we get confirmation that filming has started.

I did also want to note, that while we expect Boss and Noeul to be the leads for The Boy Next World, since she is announcing that after Love Sea, I'm also expecting that to be filmed after Love Sea, even though we suspected that BNW was on the docket way back in March, Boss is still attached to Zomvivor with Mandee/Domundi, which could begin filming this fall, though that's not fully confirmed, it's based on the schedule presented at their look-aheads last year and what has already filmed and aired. But my point is that Boss may not be free to commit to the filming of BNW for a couple of months. There's a lot of variables that go into it.

But anyway...I hope this little rundown/update was helpful. If you have questions and I can answer them, my asks are open.

Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat And Tul Pakorn Thanasrivanitchai On Love, Travel, Upcoming Projects And More

Together, the Thai stars are rewriting the rules of being a leading man in film and television all while venturing into new territories, pursuing passion projects and living their lives unapologetically.

Forget everything you think you know about being a leading man. Thai actors, Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat and Tul Pakorn “Tyler” Thanasrivanitchai, are redefining what it means to be a household name after starring in Thai boys’ love (BL) dramas.

Unlike the uninhibited and daring characters he sometimes plays on screen, Mew comes across as a reserved, soft-spoken yet confident gentleman in person. On set, he’s polite, charming and eager for feedback despite possessing a wellspring of experience in the entertainment industry. “Are my poses okay? Do I need to do anything differently?” he earnestly asks Kenneth Goh, our editor-in-chief who was art directing the shoot in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mew’s rise to fame was gradual. The 32-year-old earned his stripes as a model before getting his first big break as an actor when he was cast as Pree in the Thai BL drama What The Duck: The Series (2018). The show was an instant hit in Thailand, and was brought back for a second season. But it wasn’t until his role in TharnType: The Series, where he played Tharn, a gay man who falls in love with his homophobic roommate (played by Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong) in university, that his star rose dramatically.

Mew is also a gifted musician. His debut album 365 ranked number three on the worldwide iTunes album chart, and was number one in 18 countries. He also became the first Thai artiste to debut an album that reached the 13th spot on iTunes’ Global Digital Artist Ranking list. He has since struck out on his own with Mew Suppasit Studio, through which he releases new music.

His success as an actor and recording artist hasn’t gone unnoticed. He caught the eye of luxury fashion brands such as Maison Valentino, Tod’s and BOSS, resulting in coveted partnerships and front row seats at Milan fashion week.

In contrast, Tul exhibits golden retriever energy. Charming and enthusiastic in the flesh, he is the polar opposite of Mew on set. Tul is playful and adventurous, taking initiative on how to better bring the concept of the shoot to life. “It might be better if I stood behind Mew for this shot so we’re both facing the camera,” he thoughtfully suggests. His energy is infectious and he’s not afraid to do whatever it takes to get the best photo. On set, they are drawn to each other, playfully tugging at each other’s clothes, while warm embraces and encouraging shoulder rubs signal a close bond. After lunch, the laughs grew louder, the boyish repartee naughtier and the hugs tighter. Clearly, Mew and Tul have a special affinity with each other.

Like his contemporary, Tul’s first foray into the entertainment industry was through modelling. “I was a drum major during the Chula–Thammasat Traditional Football match back in 2011, and I was scouted by a modelling agency,” he recalls. “I was later spotted modelling during a fashion show by a casting director and was asked to go on an audition. I started acting in my third year in university, accepting one production a year.”

The casting director’s eye for talent proved to be on the money—the 31-year-old shot to fame, thanks to the success of Together With Me (2018), where he played Knock, a sexually-confused university student who ends up falling in love with his gay childhood best friend. With his newfound popularity, opportunities within the fashion industry opened up for Tul as well.

Another similarity between the two men is their dedication to academic excellence. Mew has a master’s degree in Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, while Tul just graduated from Columbia University with an MSc in Real Estate Development and worked as an acquisition intern at Cycamore Capital in New York City.

Mew and Tul are testament to the modern idea that there’s no one way to reach the pinnacle of success, and that there’s always room for personal and professional enrichment and time for passion projects. We sat both of them down for an intimate tête-à-tête on style, travel, upcoming projects, their goals for the new year and more.

ON FASHION

Tul: How would you describe your style?

Mew: It depends. I love to mix and match. I have different types of tops that I’d mix with different bottoms, shoes and accessories.

T: Your wardrobe is huge (laughs)!

M: What about you?

T: In Thailand, anything lightweight. I’m very sensitive to the heat. I’m still experimenting with my style, but I love Korean fashion. I think the cutting is more flattering for us Asians and it’s more sophisticated. I like something minimal with details that is easy to mix and match with what you already have. For Thai fashion, I like Greyhound.

M: Handbags! You have so many bags!

T: Shoulder bags and crossbody bags. Well, the thing is, I don’t feel like dressing up much while in Thailand. So I play with bags instead.

M: I bought him a new bag last year and I only saw him use it once. You know the problem isn’t about how often he uses it. The problem is, he was whining a lot when he wanted it. But when I bought it for him, he rarely used it.

T: I used it many times! Around five times.

M: In the entire year!

T: When I want him to buy me something, I’ll send him a picture saying, ‘It’s beautiful, isn’t it?’

ON FOOD AND TRAVEL

M: Any restaurant recommendations?

T: I think Japanese restaurants are great. I like yakiniku and shabu shabu, but I really recommend grilled prawns.

M: Any good ones in Ayutthaya? Once I ate them on a raft and threw up. I guess I had seasickness. River prawns are very fatty and the raft was floating, so I felt terrible.

T: I would recommend Ginzado. It’s a Japanese yakiniku restaurant.

M: What’s your favourite food?

T: Asian food. I enjoy Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food.

M: You know what our new discovery is? Peruvian food! It’s very good.

T: Yes, Peruvian food! So good!

M: We ate it in Canada.

T: Peruvian food is like a mix of Latin and Japanese food.

M: The restaurant we ate at in Miami was very good too.

T: Yes. They have this dish that’s a lot like our Yum (spicy salad). I think Thai people will like it. If you don’t enjoy Mexican cuisine, you might like Peruvian.

M: Do you always plan your trips or just go with the flow?

T: I always plan.

M: Overplan, more like it! He’s the one in charge of trips, and the itinerary is always just nice—not too packed.

T: I told you I can be obsessive-compulsive. When we travel, I want the best things at the best price. It needs to be cost-efficient. When you need to be somewhere at a certain point in time—such as seeing the sunrise at a particular spot—I will do everything to make sure we get to see the sunrise. I plan everything in advance and I don’t want anyone in the group to have to pay for something unnecessarily expensive. If, at some time, business class tickets are excessively costly and premium economy is more value for money, then we should do premium economy. I’ll be attentive to everyone’s rewards and mileage to ensure they don’t need to pay extra when they can redeem miles.

M: He will have all the information on hand like, if we’re going somewhere and need to use a particular airline, we should apply for this and that in advance, so we have benefits like better seats or baggage allowance.

ON WHAT’S NEXT

T: What are your plans for this year?

M: Last year, I worked on many projects, series and movies, so you’ll see a lot of my work both on television and in cinema. I’ll be back working on music soon as well. In addition, I have a fan meet around my birthday in February, so I’m looking forward to meeting my supporters there. Among the projects that I’ve completed is Mon Rak Luk Thung, a remake of a classic Thai musical rom-com. This is my first time singing many luk thung [folk] songs.

T: I’m thinking of seriously moving away from entertainment, and focussing on my family business. I’m currently working as a project manager for our new project in Bangna. It’s a community mall with a fresh food market. In the future, I would love to work in property management. I enjoy exploring residential and housing projects. I want to do something that offers customers high-quality products and a good quality of life. This is also the reason why I pursued my postgraduate study.

M: What are your goals for 2024?

T: I want to have a sexier body. I want to have time for the gym no matter what I have going on at work. Another goal of mine is to make more use of what I’ve learned in the US in my life. I want to be working on more tangible projects.

M: I have never had a chance to use any of the things I learned during my postgraduate studies (laughs). The research I did… I’ve used none of it.

ON THEMSELVES

W: How would you describe yourself?

T: I’m a worrywart. I think too much about every little thing despite my image as a very sociable extrovert. But when I’m on my own, I’m quite obsessive-compulsive; I will tidy my rooms and fold my clothes.

M: Everyone thinks he’s easy-going and very laid-back, but in reality, he’s a worrywart. He really, really thinks about everything. He keeps worrying about others.

T: It depends. I thought I could handle social media better as I got older but sometimes, I feel like I’m not as good at it as I could be. That said, after years in showbiz, I’m better at letting go and not letting it affect me as much.

M: I’m the opposite of Tul. He’s a worrywart despite his easy-going image. I look like I’m overthinking but in reality, I’m much more laid-back.

T: Exactly (laughs)!

ON LOVE

T: What’s your favourite love quote?

M: I don’t know… I’ve never thought of it.

T: Just Google ‘love quote’ and pick one you like.

M: For real? Okay, let’s see… Top 10 Love Quotes…

T: My love quote is ‘Bitch, I say what I say.’

I was tagged by @waitmyturtles so here's my Thai QL Favorites Tag Game answers! Brief because arghh, not able to spend lots of time on anything bloody fun at the moment.

Favorite Thai BL: I love so many but it just has to be Until We Meet Again. For all its flaws (Pharm's blushing maiden, New's pedestrian direction etc) it's a masterpiece of storytelling and a perfect cast. And it still makes me ugly cry when I rewatch it. Bad Buddy comes a close second though

Current Obsession: I'm too swamped to have a current obsession. I'm so behind I haven't even watched The Eight Sense yet. I had to pause Be My Favourite after ep 2. I can't start anything new so currently only rewatch favourite bits of already consumed media. Sob.

Favorite Pairing: I'm wavering between PatPran and DeanPharm. And AePete...

Most Underrated Actor: There are a couple of actors that I'd just like to see in more things because whenever they appear they elevate the whole drama. Tonnam Piamchon is a proper scene stealer and I'd love to see him lead something out. I'm surprised there hasn't been a proper lead for First (not that one) Piyankul as well.

Favorite Character: Pat. He may be an eejit but once he realises how he feels he's all in, forever. I love that man.

Favorite Side Character: Can I have Toh's entire friendship group from Secret Crush On You? I love all of them.

Favorite Scene in a BL: I won't pick one and you can't make me. Some I love because they're fabulous, some because they are so bad they're good, others make my heart clench. A few of my many highlights include; In and Korn so happy on the beach in UWMA, the rooftop kiss in BB, Daisy and In's noodle flirtation in SCOY, White and Sean at Pride in Not Me, the airport scene in ATOTS, and as a gloriously over-the-top bit of pulpy goodness, Kim descending the stairs in his best Alexis Carrington imitation to confront Cherry in Unforgotten Night. Then there's this one:

Favorite Line in a BL: "In this world, you can be afraid of anything. I will always be beside you, but you cannot be afraid of me" Win to Team in UWMA

Most Anticipated BL (& Why): เขมจิราต้องรอด Cherry Magic with TayNew OF COURSE. I think we all know why. Middleman's Love because TutorYim - aww. And Only Friends because Jojo's got free rein and a fabulous cast.

Healthiest relationship in a BL: PatPran, Li Ming and Heart, despite their youth. and ultimately DeanPharm.

Most Toxic Relationship in a BL: Lots of people are going to have TharnType in this spot. I suspect these people have forgotten Dr Bright and Farm from Together With Me, or Techno and Kengkla from LBC and LBC2. Tharn and Type are pure as the driven snow in comparison.

Guilty Pleasure Series: Love Mechanics - look I just love my spiky boy Mark and my hopeless boy Vee and their messy, messy relationship.

2022 - the year I discovered BL!

(The master post no one needs but everyone gets anyway haha)

1. I fell in love with...the passion!

What you have to know about me is, that I love realness in series. Emotion vise. Like real anger, sadness and passion. I love it when you feel the chemistry. And it hit me like lightning when I saw MileApo play the Kinnporsche. If you know my blog you know that I wasn't interested in Asian TV/Music or anything related to such series. But I couldn't help myself (like many other people haha) bc of the sexiness of them boys (I mean look at them omg) and I fell deeper than I dreamed of.

2. I felt that...in my heart and soul!

It's no secret that I am obsessed with Kinnporsche. I fell in love with Mile at first sight. I love his old soul sm. And you never ever can oversee Apo with his tiny waist and bright aura. I struggled with Vegas at first. But Bibs had me from the moment I saw everything in his eyes. And him with Bui hits different. But now it's like Jeff Satur everywhere. And Barcode grew sm on me that I can't look away when they are together. And just like that all the boys grew on me like...like a family I might never see in person (sobbing) but I love them sm and cherish the moments through my phone. I don't know how you guys feel about this but it's just not explainable how much I could smile, cry and scream for them. My heart is full..

3. I feel like...I am stuck in a love circle!

And in this mood I came here. Tumblr. And the gate of BLs opened wide...haha. I got many recs. Like Cutie Pie, Lita, Unforgotten night, the eclipse, viseversa, between us,...or the slightly older ones like Tharntype, don't say no, 2gether the series... so much happend. It felt and still feels like a love circle (like the devils circle just with love haha). And the obsession grew so far that I couldn't and still can't focus on other series anymore. It's really bad. (..but so f***ing worth it!!)

4. Feeling...the music!

I love music. Show me a good sound and I am obsessed with it. And all the BLs have music! What a nice discovery! I fell for Jeff's voice like Lucifer from heaven. With no turn back. Hide isn't my most listened song of the year for no reason haha. And at all the send offs and tour and collaborations made me feel the Thai Music sm. I can't sing the lyrics well but I try haha. It was an eye opener for a new genre of feels. I especially love the rock versions of songs. The Tharntype theme song is really good also. (Give some recs pls if u know good songs though 😁)

5. ...and we all felt that!

I met @librariesperson here and we both knew that we share the same thoughts immediately. We joke that it's destiny. Kinnporsche did that. It gives us an obsession to share. Like we all are close friends. Like the cast is. And I just wish that we all stay together and be a Fandom they can be proud of. ❤️

6. I will still feel it...in the future!

I just became obsessed in the right time. The filmography and acting got better. The realness and passion on NC scenes are top tier. And it will get even better next year! The trailers of gmmtv, dmd are out and promising...and Boc hasn't even give us some trailers! The expectation is high. I am praying for a Jeffbarcode series. (With an happy ending ok!!!) And BBB will have projects. And MileApo for sure. And all the other ones. I just wanna see them happy. And Jeff will give us some good songs I know it just now...

...oh and @ all the writers of FFs. Thanks for your hard work. I/we see u. We love u. We don't know what we will do without u. Pls write more Kimchay pretty pls 🤞🏻😁🙏🏻

What is your favorite sibling relationship in bl?

Hello Anon! In true 'Me' fashion, I can't just choose one sibling relationship because I have many.

First up, the Kirigun Siblings from TharnType. My fave trio of siblings. They're all pretty, smart, stylish, and filled with love for their family. When Tharn got into fights with Type, his brother and sister (and beloved cousin) came running to his side. Honestly the family dynamics in that series was severely underrated. Also they were well casted.

Gene and P'Jap from Lovely Writer. Don't get me wrong, both older brothers from LW were great big brothers, but something about P'Jap standing up to his dad so strongly for Gene really was impressive. He also gave Gene some really sound advice in the series. I just adored their relationship.

Pat and Pa from Bad Buddy. I love them. A true big brother/little sister dynamic. They bicker and laugh and laugh and bicker. She's always in his corner and he would do anything to take care of her. I love them.

Sun and Rain from Dark Blue Kiss. I love that Sun tries his best to keep his brother out of trouble and I love that Rain keeps his brother grounded and level headed. Also if it weren't for Rain, SunMork would not be a thing.

Thai BL Favorites List

Thank you @thatgirl4815 for tagging me! Sorry it took me too long. I guess I’ll be using this game to talk a bit about some of my favorite BL shows (Thai BL particularly), especially in the past 1,5 years. I might have not watched that many shows, honestly, so maybe I couldn’t really answer a question or two and obviously for the rest of the questions my answers would be very much biased and, ehm, extended (sorry in advance for being greedy, and that in no way this would be a brief list). 

Favorite Thai BL: My top three (can’t choose one) are A Tale of Thousand Stars, The Eclipse, and My School President.

Favorite Pairing: Not trying to be diplomatic, but this is hard as I usually ended up loving any pairing of any media I was watching at a time. But to go with the ones that permanently own my soul (in chronological order of the said media release); PhupaTian of A Tale of Thousand Stars, KimChay of KinnPorsche, AkkAyan of The Eclipse, SoundWin of My School President, and TienLomfon of La Pluie.

Most Underrated Actor: I would go with Fluke Pusit. I really wanted to see him playing a main character (again). The Shipper was already too long ago, and I don’t think it was even classified as BL (I could be wrong about this, though). 

Favorite Character: Another hard question *cry in my watched list*. Ok, I definitely can’t come up with only one, so here’s the array of characters that’s so dear to me for different reasons; Tian (A Tale of Thousand Stars), Akk Pipitphattana (The Eclipse), Akk Itsara (Enchante), Tinn (My School President), and Saengtien (La Pluie).

Favorite Side Character: Also, can’t have only one; Longtae (A Tale of Thousand Stars), Wasuwat (The Eclipse), Tiwson (My School President), and Arm (KinnPorsche).

Favorite Scene in a BL: Let these pictures speak for themselves. Basically almost all AkkAyan and SoundWin scenes live in my head rent free and all are my favorite. Yes, I'm very biased, I know. *cry* These are just a few on top of my list.

Honorable mentions: PhupaTian and TienLomfon scenes under the stars (unfortunately I don't have any gifs for these, just a still set post for each).

Favorite Line in a BL: For me, nothing can top that “I love you. And I want you to love yourself too.” from Aye to Akk.

Most Anticipated BL (& why): As much as I wanted to answer with Only Friends, I found myself leaning more and more towards Dangerous Romance and Last Twilight instead. I guess my main reason would be the casts (please I need more JimmySea and also Perth and Chimon). And personally, I think I deal emotionally better watching media with single pair centered story than one with multiple/ensemble pairs. 

Healthiest Relationship in a BL: At this point, it’s Tinn and Gun in My School President. If we’re talking solely about the green flags, there might be many others beside these two. But when it comes to the relationship, I don’t remember watching any other more impressive than them. 

Most Toxic Relationship in a BL: I can’t really come up with something for this one. When it comes to toxic relationship, I usually avoided watching anything with known one in it at all or I ended up watching them in fast-forward/skipping mode so I don't think it's my place to label them as toxic as I might lose some context on the way.

Guilty Pleasure Series: Currently I don’t have any, I guess. But it used to be TharnType (I resonated a lot with Type and his anger issue) and/or Together with Me (I just can’t say no to MaxTul in any kind of media, I think).

Hi! Sorry in advance for how long this post is going to be. I have so many things to ask.

I'm mostly obsessed with Thai BLs at the moment, but I do want to diversify, so what are the top recommendations for Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese? I don't like too much angst or conflict. As in, I could barely get through series like Theory of Love and Never Let Me Go.

Your BL linguistics and honourifics posts helped me a lot when I was but a newbie in this world. Ah, good times. Anyways. What I wanted to ask is, taking inspiration from, and with (credited) reference to your posts, can i make a post of my own? It will only be on Thai. I just want to compile all the things I've learnt so far.

I was sniffing around MyDramaList (for reasons) and found Water Boyy. Is it worth watching? Also, Boys over Flowers (F4 version). I really don't want to watch het romance unless it's really, really good.

You don't have to answer this, it's just for my own curiosity. I'm thinking of making a EarthMix TharnType AU with role reversal. So far I have Mix as Tharn, Earth as Type (yes, i got the idea from Love by Chance), Tay or New as Thorn (Tong is so much better as Tankhun. Also, in this, Thorn is also ver gay, hence TayNew), Love or Film as Thanya, and of course, the crowning gem, Neo Trai as Techno. Question is, who should I cast as Lhong (better if its GMMTV since i know them best, but other agencies are also good.)

Last but definitely not least, I respect you a lot. And i love your blog. Irrelevant, but I wanted to ask, how was today's Boss and Babe (ep. 4)?

Moving on from Thai BL

1a. I'm mostly obsessed with Thai BLs at the moment, but I do want to diversify, so what are the top recommendations for Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese?

Sure thing. Read the descriptions of my top 10, they will let you know how soft the different dramas are. (I like soft and sweet a lot myself, so there are always many in there).

This one needs to be updated, I added quite a few more to my 9/10 list for Korea since then. But with Our Dating Sim and The New Employee this year is going to require it to be updated AGAIN. (Both highly recommended for your needs)

Low Angst, Low Conflict, Soft BL

1b. I don't like too much angst or conflict. As in, I could barely get through series like Theory of Love and Never Let Me Go.

3a. I was sniffing around MyDramaList (for reasons) and found Water Boyy. Is it worth watching?

NO. Avoid all versions. It's terrible. I mean, if you are completest you have to but otherwise... NO.

I am sorry to all the stans out there, but I LOATHE this franchise. I've watch a number of them, always hoping a new remake will make it palatable. NO. I hate all of them. All the worst tropes of a reverse harem. I am intersted (like Twilight) in understanding WHY it's so popular but personally, it gives me the disgust willies. Yech.

This is why I want it gay. Would that make it palatable?

I suppose the one form Laos is the only one I even kinda enjoyed and it is by far the worst production values. I gave it up 1/2 way through. I think I watched 3 eps of F4. No thank you.

Honestly if you want this kind of het toxicity, I think Heirs is a better version of these tropes. Also it's legacy Kdrama so will tell you a lot abouy that industry and what toxic tropes they love (and still employ) even in their BL.

4. who should I cast as Lhong?

I know everyone is predicting stuff for GMMTV P2 but the majority of my "predictions" (that are probably a little tin-foil hat coded) are not from that.

Do not get me wrong I enjoy GMMTV BLs. But I am honestly not as exited about new stuff from them. Once we have it I will probably enjoy most of them (unleass they fuck up in a major way again). But I can't build enough anticipations for any of it (especially since what I really want is never going to happen).

My non GMMTV BL prediction of this year and early 2025 are as follows:

CHANGE 2561 would be very very stupid to not capitalized on how much the cast of Pit Babe is close to each other and is able to create "shippable" content with non "official" ships. Also they did a bit of BL history already with Pit Babe, and I think they can do more by announcing some projects that break up the official pairs after the next one (the long bean one)

FoureverYou is not filming, that leads me to believe that the Vampire Project might not be the only project they are shopping around for. Despite the fact they are doing promo photoshoots and have all the cast ready and they did the blessing event thing (sorry I am not sure how to call it at this time) there has been no filming. Half the cast is still being managed by Wabi Sabi despite the fact that they are obviously not looking to do that anymore. SO THEORY: This is also getting shopped around. I don't think that GMMTV is getting this one, because of how fast the part 2 is coming up now. But another studio might be getting, along with the rest of the Wabi Sabi actors that are not GMMTV and don't want to go indipendent.

Barcode being at all the promotional stuff with Ta (and Copper) makes me think they might be testing the water. JeffBarcode have Wuju Bakery but then nothing, and Copper is leaving soon, so no pairing with Ta is able to happen. They might be testing the waters to eventually pair Ta and Barcode as leads in a BL ---- I am not saying I 100% want this, I would be ok with them not having a pair braind. But BOC is short on bankable pairs. So far they have one. BibleJes is getting tested with 4 Minutes and all the other boys don't have a set pairing. A third pair for them would help them a lot.

---- CONTROVERSIAL THEORY UP HEAD (It's about Mame - putting under the read more so you don't have to engage with it If you don't want)

I am not saying you have to agree - I am not even saying I am correct - I am speculating only. This thoughts are colored by my expirience and I can only speak for myself.

The BossNouel Mame series (the one that is based off the Minor Side Couple in TharnType s2 - the neighboors with the jealous boyfriend and the younger uni guy) is not going to happen. Hear me out, not only did Nouel just cut his hair in a way that would totally clash with how the character he is supposed to play looks like. It would also be very bad for them. I have recently re-watched TharnType and it appears obvious to me (although again I might be wrong - this is just my opinion) that this ship is basically less bratty Rain and less bad boy Phayu. They are basically the same dynamic at their core. And if BossNoeul does this, they will get typecasted all the way to hell.

That is what killed OhmFluke (UWMA) and it is absolutely still hurting their job prospers even now. Fluke as expressed already that he wished to do a Mafia style BL, something where he played a criminal, but he is not getting that.

I think BossNouel should not play a dynamic that is so similar to their first one.

I know I don't know these people and I am just speculating, but that haircut is not something a naive and innocent babyfied character like the one is supposed to play should have. Love Sea finished filiming. They should be working on the BossNouel series soon. So why cut his hair now?

Plus Mame re-realesing TharnType and Don't Say No on YouTube full episodes and all, might have been a way to get people to recall the characters BossNouel are supposed to play, their are supposed to play in that universe.

That is why the series got re-released (I am guessing) which means they expect to shoot relatively soon. So again, why cut his hair in a way that that character wouldn't have. Because as it stands they would have to use a wig on him.

Unleass they are doing something very very different in which case why dragged the TharnType characters back, or they are not doing that anymore.

I don't know. I might be wrong.

1) If you had to watch one drama forever what would it be?

My first instinct is to say one of the series I’ve watched a dozen times already, but they’re all pretty dramatic and emotional and I don’t know if I wanna live through that forever lol. So I’m gonna go with Cherry Blossom After Winter, I really adore this fluffy BL. It’s seriously my comfort series, it too sweet and I could easily watch it forever.

2) If you could change the ending of a drama which one would it be?

Anyone who doesn’t answer HIStory3: Make Our Days Count has either never seen it or has no heart, seriously, that is the top of the list of BL endings that needs to be changed! 😭 Kissable Lips is one I would change the ending of as well, still a better love story than Twilight tho.

3) Name your favorite drama and tell who your favorite character was.

I have two favourite BLs that take number one on my list, Until We Meet Again and Not Me. My favourite characters in UWMA are Dean, Korn and Win. My favourite characters in Not Me are White, Black, Sean, Yok and Gumpa. Yeah, there’s no such thing as one favourite character in my world lol.

4) Name a drama you dropped within the first few episodes ~ we all have at least one!

Check Out, I really really tried to like it but the characters were all just terrible people. Like I get that cheating happens, but when that’s the entire show, it gets a little dull.

5) Name a popular drama you've never watched and why?

SOTUS… I know, I know! This is like the BL that launched Thai BLs into the international market. And to be fair to Singto, he is one hell of an actor, he just has amazing chemistry with whoever he works with. But I’ve heard/read some pretty not good things about Krist concerning homophobic things done during filming, and that kinda soured the show for me. I’m queer and have no issue with actors playing gay for pay, obviously. But when an actor is gay for pay but rude about it, then I have issues. I grew up doing theatre, working both in front of and behind the scenes, I’ve been trained as an actor and I know nothing makes a working environment hell like an acting partner that just does not wanna be there, it makes you have to work twice as hard. Which is why I think Singto’s acting stands out so damn much next to Krist, because he was working his ass off to sell that onscreen romance. Also LBC2: A Chance To Love, again, much like Krist, Mean has had some pretty damming rumours and stories come out about him being homophobic. Also I just really dislike TinCan as a couple lol.

6) Name a drama you regret watching.

TharnType, what even was the god damned mess!? And why in gods name did I watch TharnType 2!? Can we stop MAME from writing gay stories until she’s actually met gay people? Because from the storylines I’m thinking she’s never actually spoken to a gay man in her life 🙄

7) Name a drama you thought you’d never watch but did and did you end up liking it?

Fish Upon The Sky, it looked seriously stupid but I actually ended up liking MorkPi and DueanMeen as well as their actors, I’m actually looking forward to seeing PondPhuwin pair up again in Never Let Me Go and NeoLouis in The Eclipse.

8) Name a pairing you want to see?

I’ve mentioned before in passing about wanting to see Gun pair up with either Mond or Sing, so I’ll pick differently this time. I’d really like to see Saint work with First, I know First is already kinda branded with Toru, what with them being in War of Y together after their episodes of Y Destiny. But I think if Saint wants to stop being cast as the cute lil uke he needs to be paired with someone slighter than him but equally as pretty, which is where First comes in. I’d love to see Saint as a cold tsundere type, softened by a sweet lil character played by First. Plus I think they would both go pretty ham when it came to any romantic scenes, possibly farther than Saint went with Zee.

9) Name a pairing you didn’t think had chemistry?

TinCan, I’ve mentioned them before and I swear it’s not just because I’m not a fan of Mean’s work lol. Seriously, I never found TinCan to have much chemistry at all. Also, I know BrightWin are some of GMMtv’s golden boys buuuutttt SarawatTine were lukewarm at best 🤷

10) Name a pairing you have seen in another drama that you like?

I really liked Na and Ja as a pairing in UWMA, Sorn and Sin were the only couple that didn’t have any awkwardness in their physicality, they existed within each other’s space, orbited around one another as a real couple would. So often in BLs I find couples have trouble with their physicality, both platonic and romantic touching as well as simply inhabiting another’s personal space. You can almost see them acting and that’s one thing you do not want your audience to be able to do, if an audience can feel/see that you’re acting then you’re doing your job wrong. Wise words from a director I once had, harsh words but wise lol. Oh it was the japanese bl's!They are getting better!

-Kabe koji : it's a mixture of bl, anime, mangá.... and it has so much soul !!! Wish I could watch several seasons of this.

-Eternal yesterday - eien no kino: it's a rollercoaster of emotions. The beauty of life and the bittersweet of grief that speaks to me in a sacred level 😭 I almost drop this one because of the pain, but i get that this pain its fucking necessary in the end, there's no way out. It breaks u and u have to put it together...I can almost figure out how this will end. 😭🖤

Old Fashion Cupcake: it's such a heart warming story to witness,with the sweet flavor of love!!! oh my heart beats so fast for those two!

...and Taiwan never disappoints me and got me some little miracle called My Tooth Your Love ❤ The intensity a serie gives with such a idiot name 😉 the pain of trauma, and going truth it to gain love back!

It has to be Kinnporsche!!!

I waited more than a year for this! I was there when they announce it,when I read the shit translation of the novel and fell in love with Kinn,when the pilot trailer premiered, when they canceled it! when it was reborn from the ashes (thanks Mile <3) and so goes on.

And it turn out to be a masterpice to me!(even with some disappointments).

A deal breaker in the industry!!! All my wait was worth of seeing my dear porsche on screen, my beloved amazing Kinn gain life (MAFIA GAY LIFE!!!)

I absolutely ADORE Gene from Lovely Writer. Gene is a workaholic, semi-antisocial, shy, and grouchy guy. He just wants to do his passion and write magical novels. I love that he comes across as this cute, non-threatening guy but stands on business. He holds people accountable and he always lets people know when he's had enough. He's quick to call people out on their BS and tell folks to mind their own business. I just love him and what he stands for and who he is as a character.

6. favorite siblings

Thorn, Tharn, and Thanya from TharnType 2. My favorite trio of siblings. Thorn and Thanya are Tharn's best friends, he goes to them whenever he's having trouble with Type. Thanya keeps Tharn humbled and Thorn protects Tharn. They're all very supportive and Thanya and Thorn love Type like a brother. They're all pretty and stylish and honestly well casted.

22. favorite veteran

I'm not her biggest fan these days, but Sammy Coates. Girlie has been in everything! She's been in the game for a long ass time and she always winds up playing a favorite character. She's appeared in a lot of my favorite series: love sick, 2moons2, Love By Chance, and UWMA. I hate that her characters are always fat-shamed tho...She's honestly underrated and it's insane that she doesn't have her own series yet.

My Drama Universe 2022 Wrap-up

For someone who’s been fussy about being in a drama-slump this year (well, k-drama slump to be exact), this wrap-up list sure proved otherwise. Not as extensive as what others might have, perhaps, but these are what showed up to me this year that I willingly embraced consumed. Mostly BLs and Thai’s series, not all that I picked were airing this year, some aired year(s) back. Even for the ones airing this year, not all I watched live. So, it will probably cloud my perception of the show, somehow. However, I’m a firm believer of that not every show is for everyone (or, in this case, me), and that sometimes I had better experience of consuming certain shows when I watched it later after its airing period in my own pace.

A bit of story nobody asked. I’ve been watching Asian tv series / movies since the mid-end 90s. Started with mostly J-drama(s) and very occasionally C/Tw-drama(s), and then followed by an intense past decade of mostly K-drama(s). It was only at the beginning of this year that I’ve been exposed to Th-drama(s) and BLs (or QLs in general) and that was partly due to some major changes I had this year (moving back home to a time zone 12-hours ahead after 4-5 years being away in a foreign land + the series of reverse culture shock). Diving into these media has somehow given me a new kind of comfort I didn’t know I needed at the time. A comfort I know I will still be seeking for the next years to come. And since I’ve made this Tumblr page as my safe zone, why not include a yearly recaps/wrap-up list for my own documentation, also as an index to refer to if later I decide to make some Best-of-2022 kind of posts.

Anyway, I don’t do quantified rating here, I’m just giving some little hearts or highly subjective brief commentary shouts, if any. But if anyone would like to talk or share some thoughts about some of these shows with me, feel free to drop by the comment or my dm or ask box :)

Oh, and when I said little hearts, I mean these: 

🤍 (white) - the show owns my soul, period.

🖤 (black) - it’s my top-something-kind-of shows.

❤️ (red) - loved any aspect of the show: the stories / the tropes / the character(s) / pair(s) / the music / the aesthetics.

Ok, now, the list(s) will go under the cut. A little notes: I didn't separate them based on the genre (QL/non-QL) or the regions for my own convenience.

First, here’s the list of the shows I watched and finished this year, supposedly in a chronological order I picked them (but maybe some were off the timeline -- I didn’t really track them real time, unfortunately):

F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (Thailand 2021-2022) -- I watched almost all adaptation of Hana Yori Dango, and I must say, the Thai version was better written in most parts. Also, Kavin-Kaning was cute here, almost a match to the Korean’s counterpart: So YiJeong - Chu GaEul <3

🤍 Kieta Hatsukoi (Japan 2021) -- my first love, ever, in BL. I adore this show so so much!

❤️ 2gether + Still 2gether (Thailand 2020) -- not gonna lie, these ones gave me comfort in an unexplainable way.

❤️ TharnType (Thailand 2019) + TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love (Thailand 2020) -- you can say anything about this show or everything about it, but to me, this gave me my #1 comfort character: Type Thiwat Phawattakun, and it hasn’t changed.

Together with Me (Thailand 2017) + Together with Me: The Next Chapter (Thailand 2018) -- the friendship in this show was one of my favorites. Also, this show introduced me to my ultimate favorite BL casting pair: MaxTul. But my most favorite part? Their hometown by the river in the Amphawa district.

My Husband in Law (Thailand 2020) -- what to say more: a drama, that I enjoyed but will not revisit.

❤️ Bad Buddy (Thailand 2021-2022) -- the 5th episode’s rooftop kiss arc my beloved, and need to say no more, a comfort show until today.

Cupid's Last Wish (Thailand 2022) -- my introduction to EarthMix; in a way I was glad I watched this first instead of ATOTS.

❤️ Star and Sky: Star in My Mind (Thailand 2022) -- another comfort show, my adorable Khabkluen & Daonuea; can’t wait to see them again in Our Skyy 2!

🖤 KinnPorsche (Thailand 2022) -- the show that ignites something in me which I cannot label. KimChay will forever hold a chokehold on me. A show that, in one way or another, I might never have a proper closure with. That said, the chaotic that is their casts ensemble had a very special place in my heart.

🤍 Manner of Death (Thailand 2020) -- my forever #1 (not so) BL! TanBunn remains one of my top BL couples.

🖤 HIStory3: Trapped (Taiwan 2019) -- Meng Shao Fei is everything I need in a lead character, and I need him to be with Tang Yi. Also, this show has one of the most adorable second couple.

❤️ To My Star (South Korea 2021) -- this show is strangely beautiful to me. Kang Seo Joon and Han Ji Woo were those unlikely pair that I need to see being together. 

Semantic Error (South Korea 2022) -- a beauty that is not for me specifically, but I enjoyed watching the growth of relationship between Chu Sang Woo and Jang Jae Young. 

❤️ A Tale of Thousand Stars (Thailand 2021) -- I LOVE everything about this heartwarming show with my whole heart. Tian is another comfort character to me. And the village kids! I just can’t stress enough how I really appreciate and love it that the show made the kids part of every step on Tian’s emotional growth all throughout. The slow burn romance, though, tested my patience to the peak, but in the end, it was all worth it. My very brief halfway thought here and final thought here. Can’t wait to see Moonlight Chicken for more of EarthMix. 

🖤 Not Me (Thailand 2021-2022) -- I don’t think any words would suffice to express my thoughts about this show, so I’ll just settle with: it’s fucking brilliant, enough said.

❤️ Old Fashion Cupcake (Japan 2022) -- this show very much feels like a hug and comforting in way that especially when you’re at the age range of TogawaNozue you will understand. The conversation and gradual growth of emotional intimacy between them was something I could relate and reflect to. 

Tonhon Chonlatee (Thailand 2020-2021) -- I’m a big fan of mutual pining, but not so a big fan of last minutes reveal. That said, this was a show with another favorite friendship squad. 

Blacklist (Thailand 2019) -- watched this during my The Eclipse era mainly because of First and Khaotung were in it. I liked the overall story and the theme it brought up, but more especially I loved the cast ensemble and their chemistry with one another.

🖤 55:15 Never Too Late (Thailand 2021-2022) -- this was my first time watching a Thai series with a kind of slice-of-life genre, and I love it, such a realistically beautiful takeaway about youth and regret. Another lovely casts ensemble with my favorite performances of Khaotung and View. 

❤️ Vice Versa (Thailand 2022) -- an absolute beauty nobody could convince me otherwise! The aesthetics (and clearly the budget) of both audio and visual were on a whole different level. I adore JimmySea’s chemistry (and so I will definitely tune in for Last Twilight). The only thing I missed was Talay’s job as a colorist. Would’ve loved to see it more incorporated during his time in the parallel universe.

🤍 The Eclipse (Thailand 2022) -- this show owns my soul. AkkAyan is my everything. I lose my mind here but would love to experience the getting lost for any one more time. As imperfect as it was, this will always be that special show for me. 

Big Dragon (Thailand 2022) -- a dynamic that’s not for me but I stayed until the end with no complaints regardless. If anything, the color-coded lighting and sets of this show were actually something I believe to mean something more.

Love in the Air (Thailand 2022) -- not gonna lie, I’m here mostly for the depiction of the architectural students’ life (which brought some nostalgia in me) instead of the romances; dropped a bit during the few last episodes of PayuRain and picked it up again once PrapaiSky started. I love Sky and he must be protected at all costs, yet I found Prapai to be that exact figure Sky needed. I was aware of the talks within the fandom about this one, and I stayed with my take.

❤️ Enchanté (Thailand 2022) -- this one comes as the nicest surprise for me this year. It might not have the best twist of the story of all time, but I did enjoy every turn and the eventual reveal. As a diehard fans of friend-to-lover trope, I had an instant massive crush on Akk Itsara (as well as a silent and slowly whinny ‘why why whhhyy’ toward Theo) only the heaven understands. The music elevates every emotion I felt. The aesthetics were specifically made for me. My highly subjective full thoughts here. 

Fish Upon the Sky (Thailand 2021) -- my introduction to PondPhuwin, and what a chemistry! This show prepared me mentally for the rollercoaster of pinched heart that is Never Let Me Go. 

Choco Milk Shake (South Korea 2022) -- adorable! A cuteness that’s not really for me, but cute, nonetheless. 

And then, this list is for the shows that I’m still watching or still ongoing, and most likely will finish:

The Warp Effect (Thailand 2022-2023) -- a chaos I’m looking for ever since Love Shuffle.

Never Let Me Go (Thailand 2022-2023) -- a new (hard) obsession detected. (a reminder that I need to make a specific tag for this as I did My School President)

My School President (Thailand 2022-2023) -- they’re cute, so cute, the cutest thing I’ve ever watched! I love these babies so so much!!! And the thematic music? My everything! -- I scream a lot about them here.

Between Us (Thailand 2022-2023) -- so far, I’m loving all the relationships in this show, but most especially the friendship trio Team, Pharm, Manow - they’re everything I wanted to see in a squad!

Remember Me (Thailand 2022-2023) -- I got a mixed feeling about this one, but Champ’s storyline hits too close to home it hurts as much.

Gaus Electronics (South Korea 2022) -- hilarious! I adore the consistency of thematic advert on each episode.

The Shipper (Thailand 2020) -- with this one, I am now convinced there are no roles that First and Ohm could not tackle. 

And here, for the ones I’ve started (mostly 1-2 or some more episodes in) but as of now the mood just never right enough to continue. Most likely will still be on my list next year, so I am temporarily reserved my commentaries.

Favorite Thai BL: This is a very difficult question 🙃 I will tell you my top right now A Tale of A Thousand Stars, Be My Favorite(is coming for my beloved show) and Cutiepie

Favorite Pairing: Earthmix, OffGun, JimmySea, Forcebook, PondPhuwin, Zeenunew

Most underrated actor: I am going to say Gawin Caskey. He finally got his main role and he is crushing it!!

Favorite Character: This is such a difficult question as well 😬 I am going to throw a curveball and say Fah from Sky in Your Heart. I just identified with him so much.

Favorite Side Character: I am going to go with Longtae in 1000 Stars because well Khaotung.

Favorite scene in a BL:

There are two scenes I have watched the most and they are the following: end of Fish Upon the Sky with NeoLouis and PondPhuwin I have never laughed so hard in my life and the end of 1000 Stars where Tian makes Phupha act cute to get on the bed and then the house is shaking as Yod walks by.

If we are going to be cute then I would say Sound and Win talking after Sound plays the song for him on their trip. I just love WinnySatang

Favorite line in a BL: I don’t know if I can find a favorite line hmmm Wait!! I know. You’re so Sodium Radium Potassium 😍

Most Anticipated BL (& why): Only Friends because of the cast and the story. It just looks like it’s going to be so good. Also excited for Dangerous Romance and Cooking Crush because PerthChimon intrigue me. Also OffGun 🤷🏻‍♀️ Omggggg I almost forgot my beloved Last Twilight. Shame on me 😩

Healthiest relationship in a BL: I am going to go with GunCher in A Boss and A Babe. They communicated all the time and it just felt so healthy.

Most toxic relationship in a BL: The ones that comes to mind immediately are TharnType and NoKengla.

Guilty pleasure series: I have to go with Sotus because that was my first BL and it brought me into this world. I loved Kongpob Arthit so much. Also Secret Crush on You because it was such crack 😂😂
