Hinduism is not a modern religion (Essay)
Tumblr media
Lord Shiva
Hinduism has one billion followers, mainly in India. It is a polytheistic religion with a continuous history dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization. However, the core of its doctrine is old-fashioned ``reincarnation'' and ``caste system,'' making it an old-fashioned religion. Social classes also remain fixed.
Hinduism is a religion almost equivalent to Greek mythology or Japanese mythology, and it is a type of teaching that teaches some kind of lesson from individual anecdotes of gods. However, in that case, the lessons will naturally change depending on the god you believe in, and there will be no uniformity.
Among the miscellaneous gods, the most famous is Lord Shiva. Shiva is the supreme god who rules over destruction and creation, but if Shiva has such attributes, what effect does it have on each person's faith and life? There is a well-known story of him having intercourse with his wife, the goddess Kali, and then being killed and reborn, but it is a story that merely recreates sex between ordinary men and women, and can be said to be meaningless. It's a completely useless story.
I've interacted with hippies; their nicknames were often after Hindu gods. "Parvati" etc. But I don't think they seriously believed in gods. It's nothing but fun.
In the first place, the fact that Hinduism is completely unable to break away from ``reincarnation'' and the ``caste system'' shows that even though it has many believers, it is a ``useless'' religion that cannot cope with modern times. Hinduism is nothing more than a collection of folk beliefs.

"In exchange for firearms with no questions asked, participants were given $500 gift cards for turning in assault-type rifles and untraceable "ghost guns." People turning over handguns also received $500 gift cards for the first weapon surrendered and $150 give cards for each additional handgun.
Those surrendering other types of rifles and shotguns received $75 gift cards and $25 cards were given out for each non-working replica, antique or 3D printed gun." If I was to do this, say take a 20k loan out, run an add saying I'm buying guns and lay it out the exact way the police did it would cost me 75,000.00 in just background checks. 3000 firearm's in any condition X25.00 per background check, if they were all single point transactions. But the state, can suck in all these firearms without background checks, no questions asked where as the Citizen (lower caste tier,) has to jump through all the hoops, ask all the questions, pay all the fees and we are still on the hook if one of those firearms has a crime attached to it and we lose the product we paid for, at the very least. That doesn't even take into account the fact that the BATF is going to crawl all up my ass for not having an FFL and buying so many firearm that they are going to say is for resale. If I sell a firearm between private Citizens, without asking questions, without a background check, I'm going to prison, I'm losing my 2nd Amendment Right for LIFE, but the rule makers can skirt all the laws in the name of public safety. What a bunch of cunts.

The current state of the caste system is wildly misinterpreted and implemented unofficially/officially in South Asia and the whole entire world.
I blame colonialism and the arrogance of humanity
It’s honestly a disgrace that people think you’re born into something by blood and not by who you intrinsically are

do you know of any blogs similar to this one that discuss stuff like casteism in media? I sent an ask quite a while back about the casteist themes in rrr and ik you guys said you didn’t know enough to really speak on it but I’ve been reading more articles about it and my general thought it i’d like to know more from people who are familiar with it as western fandom overall just doesn’t talk about this sort of thing but it’s kind of difficult to find when you don’t know where to start
I'm not aware of any blogs on tumblr sorry. which isn't to say that there isn't a blog that talks about it. Followers I would really appreciate any advice or links that talks about casteism?

I really don’t understand how any modern, active religion could have a caste system. It just feels so backwards and barbaric, the kind of thing that should have been abandoned centuries ago. but no, it’s still there, and widely practiced by the third most popular religion on the planet no less.
I just... why?
(I am well aware that sub-religions of hinduism such as Shaivism don’t recognize the validity of the caste system, but these exceptions don’t seem to be prevalent or popular enough to justify calling it an orthodox hindu belief)

Characteristics of the Caste System in India
The Indian caste system was formed to systematically discriminate between the Aryans, the conquering race, and the conquered races. It is divided into five large, non-intersecting classes. There is no detailed study on the population ratio, but it is roughly as follows.
Brahmins (priests) 5%, Kshatriya (warrior) ₊ Vaishya (commoner) 54% Sudra (Slave) 27%, Untouchable 14%
59% from Brahmin to Vaishya are treated favorably and the bottom two 41% are despised.
All religions of Indian origin are formed on the grounds of endorsing such discrimination. These are despicable.

It’s so fucked that we inherit the bigotry of caste both literally with our last names and figuratively through our upbringing.

Castes on Cybertron
The main castes on Cybertron are:
- Flyer
- Rolling
But in it there are also sub-castes, not to mention the Castes which are not in the two categories mentioned.
In Flyer and Rolling for example, there are:
- Military Modes
- Medical Modes
- Basic Modes (Those that don't fit into any of the other two sections)
- Transport Modes
- Construction Modes (Only Rolling)
But there are also:
- Beast Modes
- Unrecognized Military
- Broken Flyer
- Uncastes
- Slaves
Okay for the Beast Modes you have to guess what they are, and they aren't the most respected. The Beast Modes are considered like the animals of Cybertron. A Beast Mode that is not a slave can be enslaved by a superior Mode without anyone being shocked.
Unrecognized Military are Modes that are supposed to fit into other castes, but for some unknown reason also have a Military Mode. Onslaught for example should fit in the Transport caste, but he have a a Military Mode. So he's an Unrecognized Military. Same for Swindle, it's a Basic with a Military Mode. (Blast Off too but this is a special case)
Broken Flyers are Flyers that cannot fly until they reach a certain height. For example, Froid is a glider, and cannot fly unless he jumps from a height of at least 10 meters. Same goes for Sunder, he's a Satellite, so he can only fly in space. The Broken Flyers were recognized by a yellow triangle on them. The Broken Flyers are below the Rolling Caste overall. The Flyers had a great deal of contempt for them, and the Roulants avenged their frustrations against the Flyers against the Broken Flyers.
Uncastes are Modes that cannot move in their Alternate Mode. For example Soundwave turns into a radio, so he is part of the Sans castes. Like most of the other Castes mentioned before, they are rather poorly respected, if not terribly. But as their alternative mode can be useful, we do not put them in slavery.
Finally, The Slaves are the nameless robots or criminal. Megatron was one of them because when he was born he had no name. Slaves then become Miners, Servants or Gladiators. Most menial work is done by Slaves.
The exceptions to all of these castes are the Helicopters, as they can be anything they want. Whether Military, Medical, Basic or Transport. Of course, Helicopters rarely, if ever, do Transport, because it's considered ungrateful.
The order of Castes is therefore as follows:
· Flyer
- Medical
- Military
- Basic
- Transport
· Rolling
- Medical
- Military
- Basic
- Transport
- Construction
· Unrecognized Military
· Broken Flyers
· Beast Modes
· Uncaste
· Slaves
The Medical are higher than the Military, because respect for the doctor is essential. After all, they are the ones who save the military in times of war.
Note that the Transporters are below the Basics, because as said above it is a job considered as thankless, like for the Constructions. Optimus was considered a Transporter, but he was able to become a Librarian thanks to his Creator Alpha Trion.
Strangely, although it is the Construction Modes that make the buildings, they are not really respected either. Moreover, the Modes Constructions are not the architects of the buildings.
Now about the Conjunx Endura, a Flyer Transporter could not conjunx with a Rolling Transporter, even if both were Transporters. In fact, if two people weren't of precisely the same alternate mode, they couldn't be conjunx.
If a Mode wants to do a job that doesn't fit his Caste, he can do it. But it's a lie. In truth, if these are Modes that do not correspond to the work, the Senate, and all of society will do their best to disgust them of this work, to force them to resign. But if ever this person is stubborn, then they will discredit him, and he will be fired directly.
As for becoming a Creator (therefore Parent), it is advisable not to be single, in case something happens to the sole parent. Otherwise, the Sparkling becomes a Slave if caught by the Enforcers. (Yes, we don't readopt a Sparkling…)
A broken robot also cannot have Sparkling. For example, Scrapper doesn't feel pain, so he's listed as a broken robot and couldn't have Sparkling.
Outliers (or Robots with an Ability) weren't allowed to have any either. Indeed, Outliers were considered unstable, and unfit to have a Sparkling.
The Outliers, unlike other planets (I might talk about them in another post) are not entirely frowned upon. In fact, people are fear of them, but although it can be psychologically hard because of the gaze of others, Outliers have no restrictions in what they want to do (within the limit of their Modes of course)
Now I will clarify something. I precised that Blast Off, although he was a military shuttle, the latter was not in the Unrecognized Military caste. In fact, military shuttles were reprogrammed by the Institute as adults, to become war machines, and therefore had tendencies to be evil and violent.
Why was this the only Unrecognized Military mode that was not accepted by society? No one really knows. The difference between a shuttle and a military shuttle are their wings. The wings of military shuttles are retractable, and can be hidden behind their backs.
When the military shuttles are born by the All Spark, we put a tracer on them to find them later as adults. In truth, no one knew that except the Institute and a few Senators.

The Dark Sides of Religion (part 2/5): Brahman's Social Order. Mixed technics on canvas 45 x 45 cm by Shaharee Vyaas.
The evil of India’s caste practice is almost as old as the gods, and is the most noxious and evolved example today of how humans attempt to impose superiority and suffering on others by virtue of their birth. Hindu texts speak of four tiers, or varnas, making up a broader caste pyramid in society. On top are the Brahmins or priestly caste, the Kshatriyas or warrior class and the Vaisyas or…
