Today is Dr. Kaidun Aroo’s Birthday!
Let me see your KITTIES! <3
Today is Dr. Kaidun Aroo’s birthday! He is a Real Doctor. He has a purr-tificate for ESA work. He has a purr-HD under the Great Ceiling Cat, year 5781.
He would like to remind all of you to wash your paws more often, and play in the tub whenever you can.
He is a friend to all cats and often tries to help other animals (mostly cats but sometimes possums and raccoons) get help and get food. He is a very sweet, smart cat. Here he is, helping babysit Eris the Destroyer.
Kaidun means ‘companion.’ Kai is the constant companion of HIS SISTER, Eris the Destroyer. He adopted her after Eris’s ‘grandpa cat’ died of cancer. Here he is, showing Eris that she can play in the tub safely, if she wants.
Last year, I had a minor surgery and after, the strangest craving for Fruity Pebbles. I think this is the only box I’ve had in my life. Dr. Aroo helped Eris get her fruity cereal. Also he got slightly stuck in the box. Valiant effort was put forth for the Hissy Rissy.
I am extremely lucky that the neighbours like him. He learned how to open doors, so if they don’t lock their front doors, he will just *open the door* and walk in. I found that out after he freaking did it to someone because he wanted to play with their kids. Geesh! This guy... Even if he doesn’t LIKE another animal, he will try to help them. He has put other newly-outdoor cats at ease and taught them how to Be Outside. He is a friend to everyone as much as he can be. Dr. Kaidun Aroo is a Good Boy.

Here is a list of things that have brought me joy this week:
Soft, fuzzy socks, which were gifted by a dear friend
Discovering I’m sharing a Table of Contents with several friends
This little orange weirdo doing one of his regular visits (many pets were given)
Getting to see photos of @neil-gaiman's dog dire wolf on social media (pet photos are always a joy)
Getting a poem right after getting it very wrong entirely too many times
All my stupid little runs for my stupid mental health
Early morning quiet, when it's just me and a cup of coffee and the world hasn't intruded yet
This asshole:
Making homemade lavender simple syrup (the scent is incredible!)
Getting to talk with my friend Ace (they are the best)
Laughing with my best friend, even if it’s via text
Surprise presents in the mail!
Surprise mail!
Finding an old bit of journaling about a past heartbreak and realizing that I don’t live in that story anymore
Admitting to myself that I have a crush! Crushes are delightful. Sometimes ridiculous too. Best bits of life often are.
