oh my GOD my day started with one of my absolute favourite grooming clients today and he’s selling his house and we were like oh exciting good luck with the move where ya going and 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he tells us where (a small town right outside of the city i live in) and said that he almost called us before buying the new house to make sure we would still come out there for grooming. y’all i almost started crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭 i told him that we do service that town but that even if we didn’t we would make an exception for him bc we love him and his cat and it was probably the most wholesome experience of the last week

instagram keeps showing me advertisements for bras, which i guess is fair enough, i have spent a significant amount of time, money, and effort learning about and trying to find bras, except everything is all wireless bras, which i am Not About - they simply can't do the job--

anyway the past week or two i have been served ads for a particular company that feature a particular model and which i find compelling because of, uh, particular reasons, so tonight while talking to comrade d on the phone, i finally clicked through one of the ads to the company's page, and from there to the model's page, which is, sensibly and predictably, locked, but has a link to her own small business's page selling -- what else? -- crystals. so then i scrolled down that grid bc why not, right? and many crystals are already, well, phallic, so at first i thought it was just my brain playing tricks on me by inserting crystal phalluses into my peripheral vision but no, there actually was a crystal phallus pictured in one of the posts, and a basket full of miniature ones in another post, and then comrade d and i spent an hour clicking around this woman's website and giggling about the potential for the healing powers of mini crystal phallus pendant necklaces to close the gender pay gap and it really turned my day around, so thank you, kitty's crystals

“Well, I have no idea how Estinien would have known how much I love chocolate covered pretzels!” Olivia exclaimed.

Well… He wouldn’t know. Olivia was certain she hadn’t told him- it wasn’t really necessary knowledge for survival, and while they weren’t not friends, they weren’t close enough to the point of knowing incredibly small details like that about each other.

“And look!” Aki pointed out a fuzzy pink blanket laid out neatly on her bed. “He’s so thoughtful!”

Oh… Yes, ‘Estinien’ most certainly was…

An evil idea came to mind.

“Oh, I think i should go thank him! I think Everyone was out in the commons when i got back, yes? Do you think they’re all still there?”

The color from Aki’s face and marks drained. She sat frozen for a moment too long. It was enough time to make Olivia feel slightly bad for what she was about to do— but not bad enough to change her mind.

“Oh- Um- Well, you see!” Aki started with a panicked expression. “Estinien, you know, he’s real private and probably doesn’t want you to know it was him, and he’ll probably pretend it wasn’t him anyway, so why don’t we-“

“No, I think I should at least try!” Olivia smiled, leading Aki out of her room by her shoulders.

“No really, perhaps just leave it? I’m sure Estinien-“

“What about me?”

Aki didn’t realize how far they had gone. They were already in the common area, with each of the scions.

Olivia giggled. “Well, Aki told me that you got me a gift! That was so thoughtful,” Olivia said with a smirk. If one were to look over her shoulder, they would find a mortified Aki trying to slink away from the room. Olivia, somehow sensing this, grabbed Aki’s hand.

“I didn’t know you knew my favorite sweet! And how did you find such a wonderful blanket? I’ll cherish it forever!”

Estinien blinked once, twice. Then looked behind Olivia, seeing the now *very* desperate looking Aki behind her. Aki began nodding aggressively, silently begging Estinien to agree it was him.

There were a few chuckles off to the side as Estinien weighed the options. “No, I didn’t do anything of the sort.” He spoke gruffly before returning to his somber wall leaning.

Olivia didn’t drop the subject yet, much to Aki’s embarrassment. “Oh, are you certain? Aki was very sure it was you-“

“Nophica’s giant bleeding tits, it was me!” Aki exclaimed, bringing her hand up to cover her face. Her voice was muffled by her hands as she spoke. “I thought you’d like them, but it was supposed to be secret.”

Olivia giggled, reaching around to give Aki a hug. “I do- just let me thank you properly next time!”
