She already knew that Puss was ashamed of and regretted not showing up for their wedding, and that Perrito suggested that Puss tell her that, and she also knew that it would be hard for him to bring it up himself, so she extended an olive branch by mentioning it again and giving him a slightly easier way to bring the conversation around to an apology.
