Been seriously thinking about and looking into starting a cat rescue/sanctuary. I’m not sure where or how to begin though lol someone help any info or resources would be greatly appreciated
This is the Largo Argentina in Rome. It is the site of four ancient Roman Republican Temples. Today, in addition to being an archeological site, it is also a cat sanctuary.
I especially like the stone Pine Trees (Pinus Pinea).
I mentioned my cat possibly having to be put down in another post. At the time I was a little too shocked to think much about a plan, but my mother wants to put down my cat because he is inconvenient to her now and I highly disagree her putting him down. My cat Puph has a chronic illnesses, he requires a steroid pill every other day. Due to his illness he doesn't use the kitty litter. My mom wants to put him down because she is tired of cleaning up after him. She refuses to even let me buy diapers for him. She's "done". He is still active: he runs, plays , and jumps. He jumps on top of our 3 foot fence even though he is missing a front leg. HE IS NOT IN PAIN. He's 10 years old and needs diapers and a steroid pill every other day. His meds cost $20 every 2 months. I need help finding him a new home where he will actually be appreciated and taken care of. I can't sit back and let him be put down because he's inconvenient. He is such a sweet and wonderful cat. He has anxiety but as long as he is around other cats he is okay. If ANYONE knows what I can do, who to contact, or where to go to help save my cat or find him a good home please reach out to me. I live in Alabama in the United States. Any information would help, I would travel anywhere to keep him safe.
My surprise trip to Rome, Italy, for my Birthday. These images are of Area Sacro di Largo Argentina - the place where Julius Caesar was murdered, it is also the location of a cat sanctuary.
In regard to the cat sanctuary - look into furball farm! they do amazing work.
I actually already follow them! 😃 their videos are great and I hope to have something similar one day. For now I only plan on taking in 1-2 cats to start. I’m looking into the legal stuff as well as a vet to work with as vet bills and the health of the kitties is paramount. Thank you so much😊
You were the only one at the sanctuary that caught my dysfunction, even through the comfort of your celled cattery.
I was the first human you decided to trust since your owner got dementia. You were unabashedly asocial, but I saw through your thick demeanor and knew you desired comfort.
All the volunteers were shocked: “Is Alex letting someone pet him!?” I heard from the next room over. I’ve…
We traveled all the way to Canggu just to check out a new member of The Odd Cat named Pumpkin. Turns out that Pumpkin wasn't so friendly after all, he scratched up Endang and her dress. I guess we won't be adopting this little fella.
I have decided to use my very poor knitting skills to make a Tater Tot themed scarf and auction it off to benefit Buddies Place, a local charity that not only adopts out cats, but provides care for special needs cats and lifetime sanctuary for ones that are considered unadoptable. These are the colors - orange for his body and green and pink for his signature bonkers. 🩷 🧡 💚 Updates as I go!
Hello! This year for my birthday, I would like to raise money for Milo’s Cat Sanctuary. Milo’s takes in special needs kitties and cats that have been badly abused. Numerous times they have come through and I want to come through for them. If you can donate to help the sanctuary pay for veterinary expenses and care items, I would appreciate it.
