#there are quite a lot of videos on yewchube about cats#it's a fascinating musical bc it's like HOW did it get so popular. WHY does it exist#and the movie is such a funny train wreck#directly after seeing it in theaters I kept trying to draw charming redesigns#for a theoretical cats animated movie#like the one that was in production but got shelved#idk. it's such a spectacle and the music is good#and idk I like the costumes and choreography#particularly the 1998 version.#thinking about leitmotifs or like symbolic choreography....purposeful tempo and key changes....#it's pretty cool.#weird I just remember seeing cats the musical broadway ads on tv and being like. I spent all day today looking for my cat, standing outside in the cold calling for her and thinking she’d run away from home
Only for her to just now crawl out from a basket of clean laundry yawning and wondering what the big deal is

For Dahlia’s birthday today we rolled a catnip joint for her. Both the cats were only a little interested but not really. Then Dodson came and stole it, ate it, and rolled in whatever spilled out 😂😂😂
#literally didn’t know dogs could like catnip too#what a weird guy#but I’m glad he enjoyed himself#we were like that’s what the cats are supposed to do!#but the cats just sniffed/batted at it then walked away lol#and also I just feel the need to put this out there with this post#I don’t keep actual weed in the vicinity of my animals#this was just for fun because on Dahlia’s vet records they estimated her birthday to be 4/20#I’m very aware of the dangers of weed and pets ok

I wish that the avatar models in forces weren't so ugly. Really puts a crimp in things when you're trying to put your existing OC in the game.

He's home now and mostly okay.

We've lost two cats before to chronic kidney disease. we were afraid that he was too far gone, based on how the vet talked about his numbers on Friday.

she said he's down to somewhere between 1 and 2 right now, from being in 2. is just going to be on a prescription diet for now.
