This beautiful girl is Mary Ann. She’s 10 months-old and FeLV+. Mary Ann is sponsored by Cathy Blackstone. SNAP Cats rescued Mary Ann from Oakland, CA. Mary Ann was adopted but then retuned to the shelter because she tested FeLV+. Alane, who has surrendered FeLV+ kitties to us in the past, saved Mary Ann from sure euthanasia, and kept her safe until we could take her here. Mary Ann is a very energetic and playful kitten. She loves to run and play with the other kittens that’re about her age. She also loves human attention, including being brushed and doted over. BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Meet Rufus. He’s 4 months-old and sponsored by Will & Stephanie McIntosh. SNAP Cats rescued Rufus from Whittier, CA. Rufus is the sweetest, most loving and vocal (when it comes to wet food) kitten ever! He just got neutered so he’s ready to roll. Rufus gets along great with the other kittens and cats, is very playful, and the cutest kitten in our FeLV+ Habitat (don’t tell the other kittens!). TWO FOR TUESDAY!

Meet Frodo and Gala. They’re flying in from Dubai today where they were rescued off the streets of the UAE.

Frodo is approximately 5 years-old, and FIV+. He’s very friendly with both people and other cats. He has not been around dogs or children.

Gala is about 2-1/2 years old and FIV+/FeLV+. She’s also very friendly with humans and other cats. She’s good with children, but hasn’t been around dogs.

Both kitties should be here at about 3:30pm-ish today if you’d like to watch their arrival on our live webcams.

Thank you rescue partners, Evelyn and Mya, for arranging the flights to get these two sweeties here. And a big thank you to flight parent, Daniel, who's escorting Frodo and Gala to SFO!

This is Jerry. He's about 1 year-old and FeLV+. Jerry showed up as a stray at William’s home in Fremont. He was taken to a local cat rescue group for foster care. Jerry escaped his foster’s home and showed up (again) at William’s home. Because of Jerry’s determination, William decided to keep Jerry, so he took Jerry in to be neutered, etc. That’s when they found out that Jerry is FeLV+. William has cats so he needed to find a FeLV+ rescue for Jerry.

Jerry will be joining us this Saturday at about noon. Thank you, William, for taking care of Jerry, and driving him here from Fremont!

This handsome, floofy boy is Hubert. He's 1 years-old and sponsored by Robin Texiera. SNAP Cats rescued Hubert from Buena Park, CA. Hubert’s a very friendly boy. He loves attention and playing with the other FeLV+ cats. Despite being FeLV+, Hubert is currently very healthy and active, and will hopefully stay this way for a while. BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

This is Dahlia. She’s about 8 months-old and FeLV+. Dhalia was living in a Target parking lot until Katie rescued her and put her in a safe location in her house. Katie says Dahlia is the sweetest, most loving, cuddly, lap kitty, and too cute for words (that’s why we have a picture!).

Katie and Dahlia are flying into Santa Rosa tomorrow (Saturday) and should be here at about 1:15-ish. Thank you, katie, for flying up (commercially) to deliver Dahli to our FeLV+ habitat!

This stunning kitten is Cara. She’s almost 5 months old and FeLV+. Cara came in this afternoon from Berkeley Animal Care Services (BACS) where she was surrendered for being FeLV+. Cara’s family acquired her through an online posting about free kittens and when they took her to their vet they found she was FeLV+. Because the family had other cats in their home they surrendered Cara to BACS.

And the rest is history.

MEET MONTY! Monty is 6 months-old and sponsored by Joanne Comstock. SNAP Cats rescued Monty from Santa Rosa, CA. Monty was trapped by a local TNR group, Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County, and found to be FeLV+ when he was neutered. So, since we’re the only game in town, they asked and we said sure. FeLV+ FOURSOME!

These four lucky kitties are on their way here today from all over California. Muffy started in San Diego, Lynx Point kitty with yellow collar (no name yet) started in Fresno, brown tabby with white (mom - no name yet) and black and white kitten (mom’s kitten - no name yet) started in La Habra. The stars aligned today and we have two pilots who’re flying three of them (Muffy and the two from La Habra), and Heather, who saved the Lynx Point kitten and drove her up from Fresno.

Thank you to everyone involved, especially Michelle at Pilots N Paws, Lorena for saving Muffy, Heather for driving her kitty up, and Pilots Rob (San Diego) and Nikolai (Livermore) for donating their time and their planes to get these babies here.
