Wanda and in the MoM

Okay, I’m kind of confused to see why people are upset Wanda might be the villain in Multiverse of Madness. Considering she was a partial antagonist on her own show.

Honestly if she’s not a villain I would be livid. Coming from a Wanda fan ( comic and MCU ) Why, you ask? Because even though she is grieving, had a hard fucking life, and is mentally unstable she has done wrong. Though as you can see many of her fellow Avengers come from hard pasts (Natasha for example), have lost someone they cared about, including Monica and that’s why she understands her and is more lenient it doesn’t excuse what she’s done. She’s a complex and flawed individual and though we emphasize with her, it would be out of character in her fellow allies ( a good chunk of them for sure ) to just take her back in with open arms. Not to mention for Wanda as well. In the comics she took out half the Avengers when she realized they covered up what happened with her original twins and then deactivated most of the mutant population cause Dadneto killed Pietro in a fit of rage. But you know what. I still love her, villain or hero.

There is no unspoken LAW that you cannot like a hero or villain. There’s no unspoken rules that heroes may mess up and do some dubious things or villains might do some heroic things, for selfish or unselfish reasons. As we can clearly see the transition Loki is making to more Anti-hero in Loki and Wanda is starting to transition to a Villain in Wandavision. Why are some of you like Ohhhhh noooo they’re making Wanda bad... I can’t like her anymore. Well jokes on you, Wanda in the comics did a lot of crazy fucked up shit. Still like her, THOUGH, I will acknowledge, the writing and character growth in ( 616 ) Wanda is pathetic.

COMIC TERRITORY UP AHEAD

Comic Wanda knows she’s fucked up, acknowledges she’s fucked up and has done many things to make-up for it. Though you’ll see she still gets a lot of flack from both her friends and not so much friends. That is believable, most mutants have every right not to easily trust Wanda. It’s understandable she’s feared by most of the mutant population. She was considered a mutant a great deal of her life. ( retcon that fucking retcon marvel) Only a few mutants know her closely the X-Men and the brotherhood of Evil Mutants for example. Most of them don’t. That doesn’t excuse the current Krakoa propaganda further pushing them to fear and hate her more. That’s brilliant lets make a whole bunch of mutants fear and hate on Wanda Maximoff a bad ass chaos user who is mentally unstable and emotional fragile. Brilliant Krakoa...outstanding that’s going to end well...NOT.

Secondly the biggest beef I have is with the writing on Wanda. She’s guilt ridden and when people voice they’re hate or is just plain ass mean she just takes it. It’s too unrealistic. She’s scolded she just cries and apologizes, like woes me. After three of four times of this happening I can’t help but wonder WhereTF is the character growth in this? How many times can you expect her fellows to chastise her when she messes up or just hate on her for no reason and just take it? It makes no fucking sense MARVEL and someone who has worked with the mentally unstable I know damn right most people will snap or just don’t take any shit in general. I can see her having patience, I can see her taking a good deal of it, though, I can’t see how she puts up with all the fucking time. And as Wanda fan. I hate it. I rather see her a villain and give them a proper reason to hate her. Then seeing her used as a plot device to cause drama and then cries I messed up, please forgive me another damn time. >_>

OKAY GOING BACK TO MCU

So if Wanda is a potential Villain? SO what? Honestly there are plenty of villains Marvel can throw at Avenger still but let’s be honest. If anyone can take on Doctor Strange, Clea, Miss America, and Doctor (Brother) Voodoo it would be the Scarlet Witch. Also I’m not going to lie, I demand to see a showdown between the magic users. We got ripped in Wandavision for a magical showdown and the audience deserves to see it. Just like we all enjoyed Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man fighting in the Avengers. You’re lying to yourself if you say you didn’t. So here we go... let Wanda have her misguided spotlight I’m SURE she won’t be a villain throughout the next two phases. If anything it just makes her more relatable because we’ve all fucked up on our life once or twice.

And if she does happen to go into Cthnon Darkside, well at least my girl is going to go out in a bang.
