Season 2: Episode 12

I’ve moved Seal Team to my passive watchlist. The list American Dad is on. Something about season 2 kind of ruined the momentum that I had with my binge. I think it’s because I’m not really invested or liking some of things that are happening. And a lot of it probably changed when Alana had to be killed off due to the actress wanting to explore other projects.

The storylines I’m not caring for are:

- Killing off Alana. I much rather have seen a bitter divorce where she leaves town with the kids. So when the actress other show flopped, she could’ve been easily written back into the show. Lol

- Danny being written off for Toni to date Sonny. Like really?!

- Ray being upset about a terrorist not getting his last rites. Do you think he gave his victims last rites? Matter of fact, if he had given the needed intel sooner then he would’ve gotten it before dying. So all in all, the criminal died by his own actions and consequences.

Honorable mention: Stella picking the day of deployment to break up with Clay. Like come on girl, any other day way before could’ve been better.

Today’s episode of SEAL Team has me reeling, and I can’t believe I’m posting this. It’s always hard losing a character you loved so dearly, no matter the show or the outcome.

To Max Thieriot- thank you for everything. The past six seasons would never have been the same without you and Clay. Thank you for the laughs, the way you always cheered me on whenever I posted whatever SEAL Team-related project I had going on, for your kindness every time I had the chance to chat with you. We’re gonna be missing you and Clay so hard, but fandom loves you so much and I hope you know that wherever you’re going we’re going, too.

To Clay Spenser- Losing you feels like a shot to the heart, but it’s also knowing that Clay will live on forever; through Bravo, through Stella and little Brian. You can rest easy now, Bravo 6. Here’s to seeing you on the other side, but just know: you will always love within all of us. The only easy day was yesterday. 🤍💫

While I don’t know if many of my mutuals watch SEAL Team, this lawsuit led by America First Legal Foundation, Stephen Miller’s law firm, is the latest attempt to legally sue DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) policies into oblivion since the Supreme Court’s Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard decision struck down DEI in universities. We’ll see if this has anything to stand in, but if it does, it could completely upend who gets jobs on television.

Ok. I’ve made it to season 2. I must say I’m quite disappointed at the fact that they did nothing with Steve Howey’s character. I really thought Danny Cooper was about to be heavily used. But nope. He literally dates Lisa for 3 episodes and he randomly OD and his character is not heard from again. I wonder what happened behind scenes. Did the fans not like his character? It just seemed like a sloppy exit instead of something that was needed for the plot.

On a side note, it’s embarrassing how fast I watched season 1 😂��🫢

Bravo Team has been given devastating news while they're still stuck on an OP in Jordan. Between grief and one last high-profile mission, Jason and Ray find themselves on the roof of the stash house, grieving their co-worker, friend and brother in every sense of the way.

Writing Ray & Jason again after so long has been so cathartic I cannot really put words into it (which is kinda ironic, seeing as I'm a writer and all).

Well, we are halfway through January 2023 and I feel like I have not accomplished anything yet.

Normally I am not very open about my private life on social media. But I will open up just a little bit. At the moment, I am currently going through some major life changes that are hopefully going to be for the better in the long run for my mental health and life journey. As I mentioned at the top of the post. That we are halfway through this month in 2023. I feel like I am letting people down. By not living up to things that I post about on social media or my website. I am still watching my shows as I cope with these new lot of changes in my life at the moment. But I am just not reviewing them I hope in the next couple of months 🙏. I will work towards a better goal to review my tv shows and work towards building
