Chromatica: Conheça o conceito da arte do novo álbum da Lady Gaga

 O álbum mais esperado do Millennium está chegando com tudo, a data prevista de lançamento é nesta sexta-feira (29). 

Neste fim de semana, fomos bombardeados pela chuva de faca sutis, estilo Phillip Pullman. Tivemos o lançamento do single “Rain On Me, com participação de Ariana Grande”. A internet foi a loucura na sexta passada, levanto a #rainonme em 1# nos Trends topics do Twiiter. 

Já era de se imaginar que o conceito seria de outro mundo, o clipe foi uma facada e com referências que vão de Pokémon à Games de ficção, direção por Robert Rodriguez. Seguindo a linha de Stupid love, e também das fotos promocionais para o projeto, o novo vídeo conta com uma estética colorida e futurística, estilo cyberpunk pop. Veja o clipe abaixo:

Para a mais recente capa do Chromatica de Gaga, conheça Cecilio Castrillo Martinez, responsável pelo traje futurista e a bota de calcanhar (usada na perna direita), ambos alinhados com sua nova direção de ficção científica. Essa nova estética de ficção científica inspirada em Mad Max - chamada de pop star, parte pop machine - é uma continuação da que Gaga exibiu no videoclipe de estréia do álbum, "Stupid Love", ambientado em uma terra intergaláctica.Notavelmente, ele criou uma máscara branca com chifres que Gaga usava para apresentar "Bad Romance" durante sua turnê Born This Way em 2012

Martinez também criou o conceito icônico da máscara branca com chifres que Gaga usava para apresentar "Bad Romance" durante sua turnê Born This Way em 2012.

Conhecendo o seu lado esquerdo, a Gasoline Glamour foi uma das escolhas para ousadia na capa. Diferente de Martinez, o design desse salto não foi feito especificamente para a sessão de fotos do álbum. Mesmo não sendo especifico para ela, Shannon Coffield, design da marca, disse à revista Vogue que acha Lady Gaga uma fonte constante de inspiração.

Lady Gaga graces the cover of the September issue of Billboard magazine! In the interview she talks about ‘Chromatica’ and even announced ‘911′ as her next single!

Photography by Djeneba Aduayom, styling by Nicola Formichetti and Marta Del Rio, hair by Frederic Aspiras using Joico, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart using Haus Laboratories and nails by Miho Okawara.

Gaga and her team focused on shining some light on emerging designers or smaller labels only for this shoot, so let’s delve!

For the cover look, our girl layered various pieces from two Central Saint Martins BA graduates! The first one is her show-stopping hand-painted ballgown with constructed sheer organza bustier by Andrea Brocca.

Underneath, she rocked a red argyle knit turtleneck bodysuit by Seoul-based knitwear designer Jisoo Jang’s graduate collection. “If you look at my collections, you might ask what’s the criteria, because they are so various and individual in materials, colors, shapes, and scents. I would say that it shows me best enough to answer that it's my personality.“

Another piece is her blue silk ribbon dress which belongs to the “Young Angels” collection of American label GARB.

We’re also able to spot the gold-tone studs and spikes-embellished sculpted black leather neck brace by Spanish designer Cecilio Castrillo!

The Italian-American songstress further accessorized her look with the Air Sign black leather cuff and Trinity leather waspie with silver pyramids, made using Britex Fabrics leather, by Lance Victor Moore.

Her four gigantic statement rings are all courtesy of Gasoline Glamour!

She opted for the red crystal-embellished steer horn ring, Voodoo black skull knuckle ring, Plum Dandy 50mm purple ceramic rose ring and silver spike ring.

For the next look, Gaga sported the blue tent coat with fitted waist, puff shoulders and button-down front by Bradley Sharpe. I can’t with how good this is, folks.

She combined it with yet another knitted bodysuit by Jisoo Jang, this time in red & mustard-yellow, and a custom It-Spain brown silk skirt with super long train.

The look was crowned with a heavily studded black leather helmet by Cecilio Castrillo, which matches perfectly with the previously mentioned neck brace!

The more accessories, the better! Both her Pony silver chain body harness...

...and spike and crystal-embellished sterling silver Alice ring are Gasoline Glamour creations.

On her other hand: Blue Heart Onyx shards with bismuth crystal overlay and silver chrome spikes statement ring by Lance Victor Moore.

Her favorite Stack-301 black vinyl platform creeper boots by Demonia completed the look.

The last look comprises the forest-green 3D-printed paper coat with mint-blue oversized fold collar and buttoned front, and blue, green & pink argyle knit turtleneck bodysuit by Jisoo Jang.

Underneath, she wears one of the tiered, draped and sculpted skirts in green & purple ombré by Central Saint Martins graduate Johannes Warnke.

Warnke’s “Windows of Perception” collection evokes a sense of modern-lay luxury through his focus on stimulation and sensory experience, creating not only an outfit but an opportunity for engagement within the moment. Having worked in Viktor & Rolf’s atelier, and both Balmain and Givenchy’s design departments, the designer believes that the future of the industry lies in two opposing options: “Fashion should either be art or truly functional design.”

The final addition was a pair of bespoke SSIK black drippy silicone claw gloves!

To match her fabulous silky inches, Miho Okawara created this set of yellow to teal ombré stiletto nails!

Ο σχεδιαστής δερμάτινων ειδών Cecilio Castrillo και η Iris van Herpen ευθύνονται για την «απόκοσμη» εμφάνιση της Lady Gaga στα φετινά Video Music Awards. Με σχήμα εμπνευσμένο από μια αντιασφυξιογόνα μάσκα του Α’ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου, η ροζ μάσκα που σχεδίασε ο Castrillo ήταν στερεωμένη με αγκράφα στο κεφάλι της Lady Gaga, είχε πλαίσια γύρω από τα μάτια σε σχήμα γυαλιών, ενώ μια καλυμμένη με σύρμα οπή ήταν στο ύψος του στόματος. Lady Gaga can be counted on to make anything avant garde, and the Covid-era face masks she wore to the 2020 VMAs are no exception. The singer took to the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet last night wearing a silver circular Area coat, with a matching clear face shield/astronaut helmet by Conrad by Conrad. “I was wearing face shields before it was a thing 👆🤣”, she wrote in an Instagram post.

Gaga—who made seven appearances over the course of the socially distanced, no-audience event in New York City—made multiple clothing changes, with new face masks chosen to match. To accept her Artist of the Year award, she wore a technicolour Iris Van Herpen dress with a pink face mask by Cecilio Castrillo, a Spanish designer who specializes in exclusive handmade leather pieces.

For the Song of the Year award, which she accepted for “Rain On Me,” the singer wore an emerald green ball gown by Christopher John Rogers and an oxblood pony skin Lance V. Moore mask with tusks.

For her medley “Chromatica” performance—during which Ariana Grande joined her, also in a mask—Gaga appeared in a pink and black bodysuit, with a mask by Diego Montoya. And finally, she wore a silver mesh Maison Met mask with her two final looks—a white tulle and feathered Valentino couture cape and a silver cape by Candice Cuoco, both worn over a silver bodysuit. For the latter appearance, she added a “jellyfish” crown by Lance V Moore.

Most people that are sexually active have a fetish of some sort, whether it is something common or something a bit more unique. Mask fetishism is under the unique category. People with a fetish for masks get sexually aroused when they see someone wearing a mask. There is little research on mask fetishes, possibly because of the social stigma against it, but within sadism, it is seen to be used to depersonalise partners, and this anonymity gives the dominant partner more confidence and power against the other person. Cecilio Castrillo, @ceciliodesigns on Instagram, creates elaborate leather masks and headpieces. Although his hand-made designs are used on occasion for real life sexual fantasies, he primarily creates these masks for performance and photography.  Some famous clients he has worked for include Madonna, Beyonce and Lady Gaga. They are often used for big performances, such as Madonna’s Superbowl halftime show.
