watching series 13 (only on episode 3, so no spoilers) and really my only gripe (well, one of my only two gripes) is that I really don't like Dan. They laid it on so thick with him that I was tired of his thing by the end of episode 1. "Oh, he works at a food bank and never takes any food from it despite starving! Oh, he gives free tours of a museum! He's a little bit daft, but has a heart of gold!! Don't you like him?! He's so kind and likeable!". He is literally just a caricature and an annoying one at that

Yo do any of you ever think about Marcia (I can’t play it cool I clearly think about her all the time) and how she would have felt after she saw Milo again? If you subscribe to my own personal view- which is that Cerys, Milo and Marcia were the disaster bi trio of everyone’s dreams, Marcia and Milo got together for a bit in their late teens, broke up because of Marcia’s work commitments and then he got together with Cerys and there was some drama™️ but they figured it out- then Milo coming back was a big thing in Marcia’s life.

Like imagine that you see your best friend and mentor/father figure get murdered and then you have to deal with the fallout of that and your other best friend is now missing presumed dead and you spend ten years looking after the kid from afar and then you go through the second assassination attempt, aunt zeldas, dungeon number one and what not you find Septimus, settle into a happier life with your new son/apprentice and then Milo COMES BACK. And you just see him for the first time in like TWELVE YEARS JUST IN THE FUCKIN CORRIDOR?!???? I would need 7-12 business days to process that.

I think Marcia would need some Therapist!Alther (because lbr none of these people are getting the therapy they need and Alther is as close as they get) to work through all these feelings because like imagine all of the above happened and he came back; you’d expect to feel like that fixed something inside you that had previously been broken; but the fact her life had become something she felt she fit in since septimus, and wasn’t something she would give up- she must feel so guilty for not feeling this vital need for him like she used to. Like she only realised how much she was willing to fight for her life now when she looked back and realised Milo didn’t fix everything. If you read my post about Marcia’s day post assassination, you know how bad I think that first night was, and I think she felt like she left part of herself on the floor when she got up. So then to realise that piece on the floor hadn’t been there for a long time- and that she didn’t need him to pick it up? 7-12 business days.

That Raphael fight in act 3? Seriously one of the most fun fights in the entire game imao. Difficult, but not impossible, and extremely rewarding. The four pillars and the two phase fight, the custom music, Yughir, just, all of it. Definitely top 3 fights in the game so far
