I found larvae - probably gnats - in my string of hearts while I was pruning off branches that were damaged in the move. Defeated, I decided to remove all the soil and put it in water to prevent a gnat infestation. My mood was pretty low cause of all the trouble, I really don't want this plant to die.. then I saw them
Look how huge the root balls are!!!
Like little potatoes!!!!
I put her in a glass and she looks so tiny now.. but hopefully with those huge balls (pun intended) she will be able to grow big again!

Le Ceropegia woodii, une plante super mignonne avec ses feuilles en forme de cœur, tout à fait adorable. Et la variegata tout autant voir plus encore ! Elle se bouture très facilement. On coupe au-dessus et en-dessous du nœud de chaque paire de feuilles et hop on place les nœuds dans un pot de terre gardé humide, presque 100% de réussite, et même sur des morceaux qui ne payent pas de mine. Mon bébé ceropegia qui avait 3 pauvres tiges que j’avais laissé agoniser de soif s’est bien multiplié. Chain of hearts is back in flower with babies! (Ceropegia woodii ) is native to South Africa, Eswatini and Zimbabwe. It is a very easy houseplant to grow and has many common names such as sweetheart vine, hearts entangled, string of hearts, chain of hearts and rosary plant. Easy to propagate by taking one of the “bulbs” that form on the strings and planting it. Dániel the Euphorbia leuconeura (a gift from my neighbour)
Denny the Ceropegia fusca (the same genus as string of hearts, Ceropegia woodii, weird as it sounds)
Jambus the Alocasia zebrina (was a gift TO the same neighbour, but she found him too finnicky and traded him for a big, mature snakeplant)
