Javier for the love of god put this man out of his misery and say you know he's not from your dimension instead of poking him about it. What more proof do you need that he plans to stay and help with the County now that you're both back from Seoul!!
"I wish to wait until-" You fucked up a perfectly good good heir is what you did. Look at him. Hes got anxiety.

Miles to Go Before I Sleep
Summary: The gift of One For All came with a price. And because he was the quirk’s last holder, Izuku was the world’s last chance to defeat All For One. Chapter Seven
Deku stood in the otherwise empty Memorial Plaza in Kamino Ward, staring up in shock at the Memorial to Peace.
He’d been gone less than an hour. Only a matter of minutes.
Minutes.
And in the time he’d been gone, the statue at All Might had been defaced. Vandalized.
No. It was worse than that.
It had been desecrated.
Deku had spent a long time that afternoon standing in the square, looking up at the memorial to the Symbol of Peace. It had been carved from a single, enormous piece of granite, and somehow out of the rock the artist had managed to capture not only the likeness of the world’s most famous hero, complete with his distinctive hairstyle and his ever-present smile, but his mentor’s spirit as well, his caring soul as well as his physical strength, everything that the hero showed to the world.
But Deku knew All Might was far more than that. To Deku, he was more than a hero, more than an idol. He was a teacher, a mentor, a father figure.
A friend.
And it hurt to see him treated so badly, even if it was just a statue of the man and not the man himself.

Ochako's arc in the FINAL saga has been phenomenal and people love to shit on it!!
Ever since the final act began, Ochako has been one of the major game changers!! It all started with ch 306 when Deku left UA. THIS WAS THE START OF THE FINAL SAGA AND WE ALREADY GOT AN EPIC MONOLOGUE FROM OCHAKO ABOUT HEROES, HEROISM...AND THE HERO SOCIETY!
Heroes were being sifted out. If heroes were defined as those people called for, then the heroes disappeared that day. But even so, there were still those standing up.
When asked about "All for One" Endeavour said "I don't know" in order for no stones to be thrown at Deku and All Might.
But if a hero is a figure that never falters then who is for them when they are in pain?
Tumblr media
It was such an emotional punch on her face, because the person she considered as a true hero was thrown into an open field full of dangerous villains to fight.
And the next time we see her, she has already grown so much as a person and as a hero.
Tumblr media
Despite the odds she convinced the angry civilians to let Deku stay and recover. She understood that even heroes are people and they need help. Her build up as the next All Might starts from here, not in terms of power but in terms of impact she made or she will make on people's hearts.
It gave an answer to her own question, WHO SAVES THE HEROES WHEN THEY ARE IN PAIN?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even Principal Nezu acknowledged that "Tolerance, lack of understanding, we are just one step away as humanity struggles to make progress. Taking the first step is always hard, but taking a step at a time like this will lead to the birth of a true hero, one that will surpass All Might"
The story clearly tells us to watch Ochako as she becomes the Hero of Heroes, the 'ultimate' hero that will surpass even All Might and yet people sleep over this plot and call her an underdeveloped character.
I know, she wasn't the main focus of the story for the longest time, but ever since Horikoshi started giving her the attention she deserved, her storyline has been superb!!
Her story starts with the realisation that even heroes are normal people that need help and as the society has fallen into chaos, it will need the support from everyone to fix everything.
Tumblr media
Both heroes and the civilians will have to cooperate for a better future where they can all smile together but in the same speech, she realised that even people like Toga came in that list. She also deserves to smile and that when her arc of understanding/saving the villains starts.
Tumblr media
This arc had been building up in the background for a long time but just in two chapters, Horikoshi actually highlighted the major conflict between the two and I dare say it was done even better than Deku and Shigaraki who had no major build up or tension between them other than their chat at the mall which was like 5 seasons ago.
Tumblr media
Now, in the actual battle she held her own against Toga despite being pushed into a corner again and again by Toga's clones, and managed to get her point across.
Even though Toga stabbed her, even though Toga held Tsuyu hostage, even though everything was falling in chaos, she saw the sadness inside of Toga and made it weightless, just like her quirk.
Also, heroes were literally dying with Twice's clones!!! And they were spread to all battlefields!! If it hadn't been for Ochako, maybe the entire Todoroki family, Iida, Hawks and various other heroes would have died!!
This was literally her "I AM HERE!!" moment!!!
Tumblr media
After her quirk awakening, after her confrontation with Toga, after saving Tsu, Jirou, Hawks and various other heroes at the GUNGA BATTLEFIELD, people calling Ochako an underdeveloped character will never not be funny to me. Horikoshi even stated it word-to-word for people who were reading this manga with their brains closed...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
UNDERUTILISED YES, but UNDERDEVELOPED? NO!! NO!! NO!!

Horikoshi and Izuku (RANT)
It's to no one's suprise when I say that horikoshi hates his own main character but the problem is YOU CAN HATE YOUR OWN CHARACTER BUT MAKE THEM WELL WRITTEN AT THE SAME TIME (gege is capable of doing it with yuji)!!! Hori doesn't do this instead of logically making izuku suffer a bit in the narrative with stuff that is LOGICAL AND MAKES SENSE he literally just gives izuku BS problems to overcome and worst consequences. Look Iam not saying he has to like izuku and make everything good for him but I am saying he should treat izuku properly when it comes to the narrative and DEVELOP HIS CHARACTER. The main reason why Iam so upset about this is because Izuku is an interesting character who has so much potential to be better and he is the perfect main character for a story like MHA. I have said this before but izuku has SO MANY Parallels WITH SO MANY CHARACTERS it could be something as simple as shigaraki and izuku parallels or something as vague and hidden as aizawa and izuku.
Here are some issues that hori could of used and challenged his MC with:
Have him realise that he is WORTH more then he thinks he is - this is something very present within izukus character and hori did try/attempt to do this during the early arcs of MHA and the overhaul arc but it failed. I think this is one of the reasons as to why he is so self sacrificial is because he doesn't see his worth and lets be honest the narrative doesn't help him acknowledge it/ it makes it hard for him to do so but even if that is the case I do want to reach a point where he sees himself as worthy as of someone with worth.
Spend longer on Izuku's insecurities especially about him being an OFA user - it's without doubt Izuku has a lot of pressure to live up to when it comes to being the next and LAST OFA user which is something hori does try and tackle in the overhaul arc and a bit in ch 306 but it falls flat a bit. I feel like it would be better to have Izuku doubt himself from the get go when he gets the quirk and realises that he CAN'T AND DOESN'T know how to control it. Also, when Izuku realises he is THE LAST USER give us his thoughts, his fears, his anxieties. These are things that he would feel he is just a 16 year old with so much pressure on him that no one could handle.
Have Izuku realise that the way Katsuki and the way people treated him wasn't right also SHOW us how he feels about Katsuki and the apology in general - This is probably one of my biggest points because let me be honest katsukis redemption arc fell off for many reasons one of them being the lack of the victims opinion and before anyone tells me," oh izuku is kind he will forgive him and understand" or "obviously, Katsuki will be forgiven izuku cares for him" THOSE ARE BS CLAIMS BECAUSE IN THE EARLIER ARCS YOU CAN SEE IZUKU'S ANGER and negative emotions towards KATSUKI which hori just forgets about. Also, have Izuku acknowledge that yes people treated me badly and that I DESERVE BETTER
Have Izuku benefit from his relationships with other characters - what I mean by this is that in EVERY one of Izuku's relationships he never really gains something from them which makes it seem like he is distant with them so have the relationships he has go both way and not be one sided ( i wil go into deeper detail another time)
Focus on how getting a quirk has impacted Izukus life whether this be positive or negative - ever since Izuku has gotten into UA his life has dramatically changed but he hasn't. The only thing that cha he's about izuku is that he got a quirk that's it. Make izuku question this change make him try and understand if he likes this change or not? I mean he has friends now, his mum supports him, he has a father figure ( all might), he goes to one of the best schools and more. Have him feel confused about the change have him question if people would still accept him if he was his middle school self. Also focus on the negatives of him getting a Quirk, make him feel like an outsider he can't control his quirk etc.
Focus on Izuku's intelligence - Izuku is supposed to be intelligent this is when it comes to school work which we often DO see and his intelligence of strategy which is once in a while type of thing that WE NEED MORE OF. Have him rely on his intelligence to get by, when he is exploring with OFA have him try his own unique ways of releasing the quirk like OFA is power stockpile quirk so for it to do anything it needs to be released from the body which is something izuku can experiment with and him and mei ( a duo I love) can create support items to help this
Have him differentiate himself from all might / realise even all might is flawed as a hero - I mean NO ALL MIGHT BASHING but just have Izuku' s obsession of all might die down have him realise that all might has made mistakes and that he isn't some big great undefeatable hero but someone who tries his best and is reckless. Have Izuku understand that he can't necessarily be an exact copy of all might and that even all might caused some problems in hero society (unintentionally)
Izuku's anger - it's not unknown that when fighting and in the heat of a battle izuku can get angry especially when someone close to him is hurt. Iam all for that so I feel like it would be better to dive deep into that and explore why that happens also give him some consequences from those actions
Challenge Izuku's own moral beliefs - have him realise that hero society is flawed. That heros are flawed and so are villains. Have him question and change his morals especially when it comes to shigaraki. Can he really save him? Or is gran Torino right is death the only way to save shigaraki? Have Izuku strive for a better more equal society one that helps people and doesn't isolate others because of their differences?
Confront the problems he has with adults like trusting an adult to help you etc - we don't see this a lot with Izuku and honestly a lot of adults have failed izuku in his life which is sad like let's be honest even all might and inko failed izuku in their own ways
These are just a few ways you can improve Izuku's character and tbh there are definitely more I haven't included. You can also make izuku suffer from the narrative with consequences THAT MAKE SENSE!!!!

I thought it was even more visible how snubbed AFO is on the covers if you look at only the villain covers (Front covers). The red circles show the solo covers, the gray circles show the "versus" covers, which give focus to these villains.
The picture is even funnier when you add back covers and realize that great impact villains like Curious or Slidin' Go got illustrations.
Tumblr media
I'm truly wondering if Horikoshi is embarrassed of one of his main villains or is he trolling the "Demon Lord"-wannabe to send him to the margins of the story.
For a full picture - there are 2 color illustrations with AFO:

I need to know how you chose the names for steddies kids bc they are 👌 perf
hello can I just say that I've been dying to be asked about this bc literally it was borderline detective work on my part istg and I'd love to share the thought process.
Moe's name was the easiest for me to decide. I was already using Maureen as Eddie's mom's name (and believe it or not I really wasn't planning on this series turning into a kid-fic but here we are). A bit later I learned that my younger cousin has a friend named Maureen who goes by Moe and I just thought there was something very Steddie about that. I felt like Steve would adore the name Lucy the second he heard it, and Lucy Maureen flows well so I went with it.
Like with Moe, I already had the middle names for the younger two (Robin and James) picked out early on. Their first names were way harder bc I had to get analytical about what names Steve/Eddie would be likely to like and choose given that they liked and chose Lucy.
(Major thanks to the social security baby name records because you can narrow the stats down by state woop woop)
According to my research, Lucy ranked #306 in MA the year she was born (2001), seeing its previous peak in the late 1800s before slowly falling off – so a relatively unpopular name that they would have jumped on right before a rapid gain in popularity (it was #48 in 2022 – 2023 list hasn't been released yet). As was discussed in ch. 1 of plant a seed, Lucy is also somewhat of a compromise between Eddie's suggestion of Luciana (very Shakespearean) and Steve's desire for their kids to have "normal" names.
SO – whether Steve and Eddie know it or not, their tastes combine into:
old, uncommon names that are about to see a resurgence and are also vague diminutives of names seen in classic lit
From here, my search began.
Amelia's name was absolutely the most difficult for me to figure out by a landslide. She was originally Eleanor, which I liked but didn't love. Then she spent the entire first draft of Plant a Seed as Madeline, but I really didn't like the flow of Madeline Robin (and I see Steve as someone who absolutely full-names his kids when they're acting out so that was definitely something I considered). From there I landed on Amelia.
Amelia ranked #111 in 2003, so it was a little more mainstream than Lucy (which is part of why I didn't just go with it from the start tbh but that's just me being nit-picky). It has links to Evangeline, which Ed would have adored and Steve would have thought was too dramatic. Amelia would have been a solid compromise, and I think Amelia Robin flows really nicely.
As for Hazel, it just seems to me like a name Steve and Eddie would hear and immediately both like, especially paired with James. Hazel was ranked #467 in 2006 and over the next decade, its popularity increased exponentially. It's now regularly within the top 50 names in the US.
And then, after all that work, they go by nicknames 🙃

Chapter Six
The doctor’s capitulation to Shouta’s ultimatum had made the trip out of Central Hospital and into Hizashi’s car surprisingly easy. The entire medical staff had seen how serious Shouta had been about leaving, and had chosen to defer to a Hero’s wishes in a way they probably wouldn’t have had Aizawa Shouta been an ordinary citizen.
Given the state of Japan, the whole world actually, Hizashi wondered how long that type of deference would last. He’d been shocked by how hatred of heroes had spread like wildfire across the country, through ordinary people. Thankfully, the rabid hatred hadn’t spread to the police or to those in the medical profession. Yet. He’d heard a few pro heroes had joined the PLF movement, and if heroes themselves could be tempted by the lure of the PLF’s teachings, how long would it be before cops and doctors and nurses were pulled toward it too?
Anxious to get Shouta away from the hospital and safely ensconced at UA, once they were on the highway Hizashi shifted into overdrive, heading south, slowly nudging his car faster and faster until they were traveling well above the speed limit, grateful that Maijima had brought his car up to Central Hospital for him. When Power Loader had heard Eraserhead had been severely injured on the field, he’d dropped everything, grabbed Hizashi’s car and a couple of changes of clothes for him, and driven them up to the hospital, knowing that Hizashi would never leave Shouta’s side, not while his best friend was in intensive care.
Hizashi’s car, an early model Camaro imported from America, was his pride and joy. It had been completely rebuilt to its former glory, all the way from its powerful engine and its left-handed steering wheel to its white interior and its unique paint job: sky blue with thick white racing stripes that began at the front of the hood, traveled over the roof and the trunk, and ended at the top of the back bumper. It was perfect for hero work as the vehicle had been designed for speed rather than style, since it was important to get to a scene as quickly as possible. The car was faster, its engine more powerful, than anything owned by any of the other Pros.
Although some who were less charitable might say he was a textbook example of ostentation bordering on flamboyance, Yamada Hizashi’s alter ego Present Mic—with his leather jacket, fingerless gloves, studded belt, and trademark golden sunglasses—was known for flash. By contrast, the Camaro had far less pizazz. He loved it anyway. He loved the sound of its engine’s roar, the raw power at his fingertips. The vehicle was one of his most prized possessions, and the first big purchase he’d made after he’d gone Pro.
And right now he loved it because it was the fastest way, short of a helicopter, to get Shouta back to UA.
