Ch192, Is that Doll/Freckles?
I haven't seen any translation yet, but the person in the last panel isn't saying anything. They just grab a snake and look at it... and the snake looks back, perhaps with recognition and/or fear in its expression.
To me, as well as to many others, this looks like Doll, but dressed as the "Freckles" that our earl called her (not at first knowing she was a girl). Here's from ch29:
Hair looks about the same as the silhouette, and these look like the same clothes. Also, in ch28, Doll catches a snake with her right hand and holds it up, similarly to what this person does in ch192.
Wasn't Doll one of the few circus members who wasn't afraid to touch the snakes?
So... yeah. This might be Doll in ch192. But she probably wouldn't be going by that name or by Freckles.

“You needn’t worry about the Wind Master,” Nan Feng said. “General Pei can hurt you, but he won’t touch her. She may be younger than you, but she’s much more successful in the heavens.”
“...” Xie Lian wasn’t shocked into silence, but was instead thinking. “Who in the heavens is more of a failure than me? I don’t think there’s anyone.”
San Lang laughed. “With that backing, of course she’s successful.”
“Are you talking about the lady in black? She looks to be a strong character too,” Xie Lian remarked.
“No,” San Lang replied. “But she should also be one of the five elemental masters that make up ‘Wind, Water, Rain, Earth, Thunder’. Probably shouldn’t offend her either.”
THERE'S A THUNDER MASTER ?

Arrival. Once Again.
--
This was supposed to have gone up after Sora’s official introduction to the story but, eh, what can ya do.
Again, old art is old, also it got corrupted when I switched laptops so it’s a little yellow. But still good. Yeah. Still good.

I love their friendship so much.
Of course the top level joke is that they’re trying to make themselves look the weakest and most pathetic, but the deeper joke is that actually neither of them are cowards. They’re both realists who know the limits of their abilities (though Usopp could stand to have a bit more confidence) so this wrangling is more about practicalities than actual cowardice.

I was kneeling before him, and presenting them, one by one, to the grasp of his tiny fingers; enjoying the heavenly beauty of the flowers, through the medium of his smiling eyes; forgetting, for the moment, all my cares, laughing at his gleeful laughter, and delighting myself with his delight, when a shadow suddenly eclipsed the little space of sunshine on the grass before us; and looking up, I beheld Walter Hargrave standing and gazing upon us.
even the visual symbolism agrees with helen’s distrust of walter!

Xie Lian saw who it was and delightfully called, “Nan Feng!”
It was Nan Feng indeed, but a disheveled Nan Feng. It looked as if he was rolled in grime ten times before getting thrown into a rambunctious den of beasts to spend the night. His clothes were tattered and bedraggled to the max; hearing Xie Lian’s call, he only waved his hand and quietly wiped at his face, unable to speak.
Xie Lian lifted him to his feet. “What happened? Did those two ladies beat you up?”
someone fetch the bedraggled Nan Feng photo

I guess it's not surprising that after a week of hyper productiveness between christmas and new year I went the other way around into a sort of slow-down. Like sure it's great that I'm an adult who works on her mental health, has friends, attends events, meets new people, tries new things, but like.... is it all worth it if I can't properly focus on the vampires?
Okay actually maybe the biggest issue is that Iriam is confused and if she's confused then I'm confused. Writing from Laura's POV doesn't seem to be helping either. She's in deep denial about most of the things in her life... Ah, whatever do I do with those vampsbians...
