latest custom player model :P i think i modelled this one in january but then didnt finish it until maybe a week ago. i learned a lot about modelling and animating (ESPECIALLY animating - i've recognized some bad habits and know to avoid them in the future now) while making him so hopefully workflow in the future will go along more smoothly

havent figured out if theres a way for me to make nice turnarounds in cpm so you get this crusty gif of the editor >:)

still need to finish and polish his animations 😰😰😰 i pivoted to modelling in blockbench and then animation in the CPM editor to avoid problems during the conversion from .bbmodel->.cpmproject files (savarin got mangled up when it came time to export him to cpm 😢) but ummm.... i really dont like the cpm editor LOL im so sorry

All I See Are Red Lights

As soon as he opens the door, Seungmin’s nearly bowled over by a tallish man with shoulder length blonde hair who’s hall carrying, half dragging a smaller man into his apartment.

“You two post up on the door. No one comes in. You two, go sit in the car. Let Changbin know what’s going on.” The tall man barks at the entourage in the hallway. Seungmin wonders how they know who he’s referring to when they immediately spring into motion. Studying the two men in front of him, all Seungmin can see on the smaller man is pale skin and way too much red. 

“What happened?“

“None of your concern. You just need to fix him.” Seungmin bites back his first and second response and scoffs. 

“In order to do that, I need to know what happened.” The tall guy pauses before lifting his hand off of the injured man’s side. It reveals a protruding knife handle.

“He was stabbed.” Thankfully, they had enough sense to leave the knife be and not pull it out. 

“How?”

“Someone had a knife and a bone to pick; does it fucking matter?” The tall man snarls. Seungmin doesn’t say anything, doesn’t make a move. The man growls and pulls a gun out of his waistband, putting it to Seungmin’s forehead. “Let me make this impossibly clear: you fix him, I pay you enough that you can afford rent in this shithole for the next three months. You don’t, you die. Your choice.”

Seungmin is a broke medical student who makes ends meet by playing doctor for other, equally as broke, university students. His driving force to complete his education is to make enough money to be able to move him and his childhood best friend, Jeongin, to a city that's not overrun by gangs.

Unfortunately, gangs can't be avoided when the SKZ turn up on Seungmin's doorstep seeking his professional expertise. One can't say no when a gun is pointed to his head, so Seungmin agrees to help. After that, avoidance is no longer an option, but that doesn't mean Seungmin has to be happy about it.

Or make it easy for them.

Especially when the gang member to break into Seungmin's peaceful life, Hyunjin, manages to push every one of Seungmin's buttons. It's only a matter of time until Seungmin becomes more entangled in SKZ than he ever wanted or anticipated.

watching FMAB with The Kid (my brother's daughter). we hit the Nina episode today and as the reveal was happening onscreen I saw her face get real intense as she put the pieces together and I felt so proud can't wait to show her the rest of the show
