random JATP headcanons that are canon in my stories
Tumblr media
Alex and his inhaler/epipen in his fanny pack
Reggie is bi
Luke is on the autistic spectrum
Luke and Alex are exes from the 90s
Carrie is a lesbian
Nick has two gay dads who may or may not be Ryan Evans and Chad Danforth from HSM
Flynn is ace
Julie gets music from her mom, but her drawing skills from Ray
Alex is a Taurus
Julie is Hufflepuff, Alex is Ravenclaw, Reggie is Gryffindor, Luke is Slytherin. Willie is a Gryffindor, Carrie a Slytherin, Caleb is a Ravenclaw, Nick is a Hufflepuff, Flynn is Gryffindor. Rose was Gryffindor, Ray is Hufflepuff, Carlos is Gryffindor. I could go on...
Bobby/Trevor is a good person who made a bad choice because of grief and deserves redemption
Luke secretly loves Reggie’s country stuff, and ‘Home is Where My Horse Is’ is a go-to shower sing-along
Reggie’s favourite movie is Moana
Alex’s parents felt so guilty after he passed away that they decided to change for the better: they started a foundation in their son’s name to help young LGBTQ+ kids across the states: funding GR surgeries for trans kids, setting up and housing dozens of kids in safe houses, petitioning for gay and trans rights. At some point, Alex stumbles across the foundation by mistake, and he gets the chance to see how his parents have grown into better people.
After Julie’s visit, Emily framed Luke’s song and it sits on their mantlepiece. Whenever guests come around, they remark on just how talented Luke was, and his parents can now respond with ‘we know’.
Alex likes the Twilight series. He knows they’re bad, but he likes them.
Following that, Alex’s list of nicknames for Willie includes werewolf, after watching the movies and finding one of the actors looked a lot like his boyfriend
Julie and Flynn have a Hamilton themed party for 4th of July, and everyone sings the entire musical (Ray included) to bring in the fireworks.
the first date Juke really go on is to the Orpheum to see one of her mom’s old band mates play
Alex can’t actually swim
Everyone in the show is some sort of gay (but that’s a given honestly)
Reggie and Flynn have a secret handshake
I might add more, but yeah.
Edit: bonus headcanon!
Trevor demanded that his daughter be named Carrie: a tribute to Carrie Fisher, and Reggie’s love of the Star Wars franchise. Had Carrie been a boy, her name would have been Reggie.

2021 Annual Writing Evaluation
1. Number of stories posted to AO3: 19
2. Word count posted for the year: 200,473 (slightly lower in reality because I’ve updated a WIP this year that I started in 2021)
3. Fandoms I wrote for: A lot of random ones; I actually find it pretty funny. It basically shows where my hyper-fixations laid at different points in the year. Harry Potter / Gossip Girl / Doctor Who / General Hospital / Queer As Folk / High School Musical / Blue Bloods.
4. Pairings: Sirius Black/Remus Lupin, Chuck Bass/Eric van der Woodsen, Eric van der Woodsen/Jonathan Whitney, Tenth Doctor/Rose Tyler, Brian Kinney/Justin Taylor, Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter, Chad Danforth/Ryan Evans
5. Story with the most:
Kudos: But you once told me, “Don’t give up. You can do it day by day.”
Bookmarks: And if you, you want me too, let’s make a move - This was pretty surprising to me since I didn’t think the HSM fandom was so active.
Comments: But you once told me, “Don’t give up. You can do it day by day.”
6. Work I’m most proud of (and why): I would say it’s probably “If the truth tell, darling, you fell, like there ain’t enough dying stars in your sky.” The reason I’m proud of it is because I started writing an abridged version of it in 2017 on my Twitter QAF fan page. Then I didn’t touch it for four years until finally sitting down to flush it out further. Completing it after all that time felt really good, especially seeing how my writing had developed over the years.
7. Work I’m least proud of (and why): “I know you think there’s no way out, like you’ve been living in the dark, but you don’t have to feel alone” is the one I’d choose. I wouldn’t say I’m not proud of it, but it wasn’t a real bells-and-whistles type of story. It just felt like something that I needed to write. Mostly because the show’s writers abandoned Michael and Kristina’s closeness years ago and that felt wrong.
8. Share or describe a favorite review you received: This meant the world to me, especially because I wrote the story “What hurts you is gonna pass, and you’ll have learnt from it when it comes back” based on (loose) personal experience. The fact that it resonated with someone else meant the world. The comment was: I loved this. You really described both my college experience and struggling to fit in, and my coming out to my mom. I feel like people tend to focus on both extreme ends of the coming out experience (going swimmingly well or disastrously wrong) but the whole 'well meaning but not fully accepting' can be it's own particular type of gut wrenching too, except that you feel like you aren't allowed to feel in any way negatively about it because it's not 'bad' enough, especially if you're still insecure about it yourself. In my case, my mom accepted me but told me I shouldn't come out to everyone because it could cause me struggles with my job in the future (I wasn't old enough to work at the time). It doesn't seem like much but a decade later it's still one of the few dark clouds of my relationship with my mom. Coming out (especially for the first few times when you're not owning it yet) is already hard enough and it takes all your courage, the last thing you need is to be reminded of all the things that can go wrong. Anyway, sorry for the personal unloading, I just wanted to let you know that your story really resonated with me. I got a bit teary eyed because that's the most seen I've ever felt. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story!!! (And any continuation would be accepted with open arms!)
9. A time when writing was really, really hard: From a content POV, I found it harder than I expected to write my GH fic “I know you think there’s no way out, like you’ve been living in the dark, but you don’t have to feel alone” and my HP fic “These bruises make for better conversation, loses the vibe that separates.” They were both stories that I really wanted to write, but when I finished them, I didn’t get the satisfaction that I expected. Generally speaking, I took breaks from certain stories throughout the year when I had blocks. But largely, writing helped me cope most of the time.
10. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you: I would say the scene that showed the current situation/flashback with Brian and Daphne from Daphne’s POV in “If the truth tell, darling, you fell, like there ain’t enough dying stars in your sky.” Her POV was never planned, but when it occurred to me, it felt right to include it. I never expected that I would like it the most, but their camaraderie is something that I always wanted to see more of in the actual show.
11. A favorite excerpt of your writing: The excerpt is from Chapter 4 of “If you need, you can call on me, I’ll be the friend you need.”
“Mister Black.” He turned to see Professor McGonagall beside their bench. She looked as weary as he felt, though he was doing a better job of hiding it. “Must we hear from your mother again? If you would … take her message elsewhere.”
Sirius arched an eyebrow.
“Forgive me, Minnie.” Her vein twitched at the nickname. “Is my mother’s intended public, and typically unprovoked, dressing down making you uncomfortable?”
“Mister Black, her language —”
“Is no fault of Sirius’,” interrupted James, standing up and crossing his arms. Sirius looked up at his best mate with gratitude. Even Evans looked mildly moved. “Surely you’re not blaming him for his mother’s bigotry when the simple solution would be writing to inform her that she can no longer send verbal accosts through the post.”
“That’s not within my —”
But she was cut off by the Howler, which was left unattended. It let out a shrill shriek due to its initial abandonment. Then, the voice of Walburga Black filled the hall yet again:
YOU FILTHY EXCUSE FOR A SON!
“Well, that could be either one of us, really,” said Sirius, loudly, looking at his brother from across the hall. Regulus merely rolled his eyes and averted his gaze, and a couple of Gryffindors let out nervous laughs.
HOW DARE YOU HANG THOSE VILE MUGGLE POSTERS ON YOUR BEDROOM WALL.
“Brilliant — I was wondering when she’d find those,” said Sirius, airily. “Thanks again for posting them last summer, Moony.”
“Yeah, don’t mention it,” said Remus, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
IF YOU EVEN THINK OF ENGAGING IN ANY LEWD BEHAVIOR WITH THOSE OF A LESSER SPECIES, YOU WILL BE OUT OF THIS FAMILY BEFORE YOU CAN SAY TRAITOR!
For once, the Howler ended almost as quickly as it began. At that point, McGonagall was already on the other side of the hall with the other staff. Not one of them was making eye contact in their general direction. Sirius merely laughed.
“What’s so funny?” asked Peter, baffled.
“Honestly,” said Sirius, lifting his goblet, “I think she’s losing her touch. No slurs? Such mild epithets? I ought to give her actual material because she’s grasping at straws at this point.”
“Why feed into it?” asked Macdonald, having arrived at the tail end of the Howler.
Sirius fixed her with a piercing gaze.
“And let her think I’m okay with anything she and her family stand for?” said Sirius. “In case you haven’t noticed over the past three years, I’m not one to sit back and accept things.”
12. How did you grow as a writer this year: I would say simply leaning into writing what I want to write and letting it happen when it does. Forcing it never works, so when I felt a spark of inspiration, I let it take me from there.
13. How do you hope to grow next year: I hope that I can focus less on receiving kudos and comments (or the lack thereof). At my core, I know that’s all arbitrary, but it does feel good to know that I’m writing for more than just myself or my own self-indulgence.
14. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc): I can’t determine anyone in particular, but that’s because I keep to myself on here and AO3.
15. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year: Tremendous amounts. If I’m writing about sexuality, I put a lot of that inner turmoil into whichever character is the most appropriate to carry it. Just in general, I’ve had a lot of angst over the past year also, which undoubtedly spilled into my more intense story plots.
16. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers: Write for yourself. Allow yourself to be self-indulgent. Rather than spending time waiting around hoping for someone else to write it, do it yourself and love every minute of it.
17. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: I’ve got a few things in progress. My Marauders fic of one-shots is ongoing and I’m looking forward to writing more of it. I’ve also got a Nolan-centered fic for Revenge that I’m proof-reading. Another unfinished fic that I started, stopped, started, and then paused on again is for 1D + Queer Eye. Hopefully I’ll finish that one of these days.
18. Tag some writers whose answers you’d like to read: I don’t know any writers, so take this as an open invitation to fill out the evaluation. It was great fun!

hang all the mistletoe (i’m gonna get to know you better)
Sharpay has never hated Christmas before. In fact, she has always loved it. She has always loved the glitters and the lights, the festive music, the extravagant family gatherings.
However, right now, she hates the holiday. And it’s all Ryan’s fault.
What was he thinking, throwing a Christmas bash at their house, when she’s home? Where all the Wildcats are present?
She can’t deny that she still feels betrayed that Ryan befriended all of her enemies and that she still holds grudge against every single one of her classmates who stole her precious musical and talent show. So, Ryan inadvertently forcing her to be chummy with them is her worst nightmare.
The thing she wants most this Christmas is to be holed up in her own room watching It’s A Wonderful Life, but she also can’t not show her face. She can’t let them win.
As such, she finds herself sulking in a corner of the living room, staring at her brother, who is dancing surrounded by a throng of basketball boys.
At least he’s having a good Christmas, she thinks with a scoff.
“Sharpay!”
Sharpay blinks out the daze she didn’t realize she was in and turns to her right, feeling her heart do a little jump, probably out of pure hatred, when her light brown eyes meet Gabriella Montez’s dark ones.
Gabriella’s eyes are alight with excitement and Sharpay can’t help but feel that dread that she always feels when the girl is around. With what she hopes is a look of disdain, Sharpay glances her over. She’s wearing a green dress, adorned by a long golden necklace, and her lips are shimmering with a hint of lipgloss. There’s also a bow in her long, flowing locks, which makes Sharpay rolls her eyes inwardly.
Why does she always have to be so damn cutesy?
Putting on the fakest smile she can muster, Sharpay curtly states, “Gabriella.”
Gabriella puts her arms forward, her beverage almost spilling over the rim of her red cup, before quickly putting them down again and smiling awkwardly.
Sharpay’s eyes widen in response. Was Gabriella about to hug her? The nerve.
“I’m glad you’re here,” Gabriella states and Sharpay rolls her eyes as she crosses her arms over her chest.
“In case you hadn’t noticed, I live here.”
Gabriella’s smile falls in response to Sharpay’s rude tone, and a voice in the back of her head tells Sharpay that her response was unnecessary, that Gabriella was just trying to be civil, but she pushes those thoughts away.
She doesn’t get it. Gabriella is always so keen on being near her, trying to become her friend, even despite their tumultuous history, and it annoys Sharpay. Why can’t she just stay away, so that Sharpay doesn’t have to feel that annoying flip of her stomach every time she’s near?
“Well, it’s great to see you anyway,” Gabriella says, a lot more softly now, with a polite nod, before turning around, obviously getting the message that Sharpay isn’t interested in a further conversation. However, before she can walk away and Sharpay can let out a breath of relief, Chad Danforth has suddenly appeared before her, a curious Ryan and Troy trailing behind him.
“Oh no, you’re not walking away, Gabs,” he says, before pointing to the ceiling and both Gabriella’s and Sharpay’s eyes widen immeasurably as they look at the small green plant hanging over them.
Mistletoe.
“Well, let’s not break tradition, shall we? What are you waiting for?” Chad says impatiently as two different shades of brown meet in panic and a mutual understanding that neither wants to do this.
“I didn’t know you were so traditional, Danforth,” Sharpay snaps in an attempt to keep her cool.
Her words make Chad scoff in amusement as he crosses his arms over his chest. “Evans, must I remind you that my love for traditions and norms almost saved your ass in the winter musical? Now kiss Gabriella.”
Kiss Gabriella.
Somehow, that thought makes Sharpay’s heart thump loudly in her chest, likely due to disgust. She’s absolutely not going to do this.
However, when she refocuses her attention on Gabriella, she sees the brunette sneaking a glance at Troy, who is looking at her with those forsaken puppy dog eyes, and Sharpay’s resolution not to let this happen at any cost flies out of the metaphorical window.
If she’s going to be miserable, she might as well take Gabriella and Troy down with her, she reasons.
However, that’s not why she actually does it. It’s not her desire to make her foes miserable that pushes her to go through with it, but it’s the moment when Gabriella glances back at her, the hesitation in her eyes slowly morphing into something curious and determined, as if she… wants this.
Does Sharpay want this too? She doesn’t know, but she’s tired of waiting, tired of thinking. Thus, she doesn’t think twice, closing her eyes as she leans down slightly and agonizingly slowly, their faces inches apart. Just before she closes the distance between their lips, Sharpay’s eyes open again, nearly gasping as she sees the light shining in Gabriella’s wide eyes.
There’s something ethereal about the girl, but there’s also something dangerous, something that tells Sharpay that this is a mistake, that she’s going to regret this.
So, instead of kissing Gabriella’s lips, she quickly moves and presses her lips to her cheek quickly, before pulling away.
“There, Danforth. Happy now?”
Chad purses his lips in contemplation, before nodding. “It’s technically a kiss.”
“Glad to have your approval,” she says sarcastically. “Now, it’s been fun, but I need the restroom. Toodles.”
With that, she flees the scene, her head held high.
And while she walks away, she tries to ignore the even louder drumming of the organ in her chest, and the way her lips tingle, and the memory of how soft Gabriella’s cheek was, and how she can feel Gabriella’s thoughtful gaze follow her every move.
It’s been hours, and Sharpay hasn’t been able to push away the memory of Gabriella and that kiss.
And her eyes, oh god, her eyes.
Does she… like Gabriella? There’s no way
Still, that kiss has planted a seed of doubt and it’s a thought that she can’t handle, so instead, she decides to entertain herself with the attention that Zeke Baylor thrusts upon her.
It’s wrong to lead him on like this, she knows that, but she finds that she doesn’t care. She’d do anything not to be constantly reminded of Gabriella.
However, she finds that she can’t avoid Gabriella. She feels her eyes on her all night, and she spends the entire evening in dread of the eventual moment when Gabriella will confront her and she’ll have to face the feelings that the kiss evoked in her.
The dreaded encounter happens when Zeke removes his arms from her waist to get her a drink.
He’s only been gone two seconds when the smell of Gabriella’s sweet perfume evades her senses.
“Hi.”
Sharpay raises an eyebrow as she lets out a sigh, crossing her arms over her chest as she looks at Gabriella in what she hopes is a casually disdainful manner. “Are you stalking me now?”
Gabriella laughs nervously as she fiddles with her hands. “No, I just… I don’t know. I guess I wanted to talk about what happened earlier.”
“It was a kiss on the cheek. It’s fine. Who cares?”
Of course, Sharpay cares. But Gabriella doesn’t have to know that.
Gabriella blinks, as if startled at Sharpay’s curt reply, before biting her lip and nodding. “Yeah, fine.”
There’s something in her eyes, though. Something akin to… disappointment?
That thought makes Sharpay’s heart flutter for some reason.
“So… Is that it?” Sharpay asks, and that thoughtful look appears on Gabriella’s features again as she narrows her eyes slightly.
They stand there for a moment, silently staring at another, and Sharpay feels that flutter again as she sees that sparkle from earlier reappears in Gabriella’s gaze, something unspoken hanging between them.
It’s like Gabriella is calling to her, seducing her with those glimmering eyes, and this time, Sharpay is unable to refuse.
It happens in a daze, as if in slow motion. Just like before, they both start leaning in slowly, and Sharpay’s hands fall to Gabriella’s hips as Gabriella grabs Sharpay’s shoulders. As their lips are about to meet, they look into each other’s eyes again, and this time, a look of understanding passes between them.
It’s okay. They feel the same way. They don’t have to fight this.
Slowly, Gabriella captures Sharpay’s lips with her own, both of them letting out a sigh as they melt into the kiss. Gabriella’s lips are even sweeter and smoother than her cheek, and Sharpay’s entire body is alive with butterflies and sparks, her heart beating faster than ever before.
This shouldn’t feel this right. But it does. Oh, it does.
The kiss feels like it lasts an eternity, and it’s still over way too soon.
As they pull away, both of their faces are flushed and the look in Gabriella’s eyes is brighter and softer than ever before.
And as Gabriella’s lips curl up into a soft, tender smile, Sharpay can’t help but return it and allow herself to fall in love a little.
“Merry Christmas, Sharpay.”
Suddenly, this is the best Christmas she’s ever had.

High School Musical Theory:
Chad’s basketball has its own consciousness and Chad is simply a vessel for its will. Chad doesn’t go ANYWHERE without his ball; rather, the ball doesn’t go anywhere without its Chad. Whoever lays hands on the basketball forges a bond with the entity and grows progressively more in tune with the basketball’s goals. This begs the question: what is the basketball’s agenda?
to answer this, let’s look at some of Chad’s traits. Extremely loyal to his friends and team, sometimes to a fault (placing the team above his best friend in the first half of HSM 1). He is often forthwith and direct, openly addressing his concerns or beliefs about certain people or events. Sometimes the aforementioned traits waver between movies, and these aren’t exactly unusual for high school students, but there’s something we’ve all gotten to know and love about Chad Danforth: his Wildcat spirit.
Chad is arguably, out of any other student at East High, the most devoted to the Wildcats. He is almost always (save for that one time in HSM 2) the one to start the “WHAT TEAM” chant among his peers. Even when separated from the ball for days or even weeks at a time during the events of HSM 2, he still retains this high spirit. I argue that the ball is the incarnation of the Wildcat spirit, passed on from basketball player to basketball player in a legacy stretching back to East High’s first class. This may explain why Chad places an emphasis on making Troy into the next Wildcat legend in HSM 1, citing previous Wildcat basketball legends as inspiration. I may also argue that Chad may have thought himself as the next incarnation of the Wildcat Champion, but upon knowing Troy’s aptitude for basketball he may pressure Troy to take the mantle instead. But why would the basketball spirit forge such a strong bond with Chad, even though Troy seems to be the next Wildcat champion? The answer: Troy is not 100% committed to the Wildcats. Troy is conflicted, his dedication split between basketball and theater. He can’t even decide when going to college, deciding to leave Albuquerque and study in California so he can pursue both basketball and musicals. Troy’s own future, both with Gabriella and with his interests, play a larger part in his life than his team and the Wildcats of East High. Therefore, I argue that the basketball only forms bonds with those that are loyal to the Wildcats and to East High.
So who else has the basketball forged a bond with besides Chad in the series? Well, although Chad is clearly the most connected to the Wildcat Spirit, I believe that the events of HSM2 concerning Ryan’s relationship with his peers are a result of his contact with the Wildcat basketball. If you watch HSM2, in the opening song “Summertime”, you will notice that Chad throws the basketball back, his excitement for summer momentarily overpowering his attachment to the ball, thus rendering it free to bond to whoever next contacts it. And who is that?
Tumblr media
Ryan Evans.
Although his contact with the ball only lasts for a second or two, the bond has already been set in place. In the first HSM film, Ryan was completely dedicated to his sister and to his art, feeling vengeful and betrayed when Troy and Gabriella dared to infringe upon his territory. Of course, he was never quite as hell-bent as Sharpay, but nonetheless Ryan was dedicated to his art. This changed, however, during HSM2.
Throughout the film, Ryan and his sister become more and more distant as Sharpay wishes to perform with Troy rather than her brother. This is, of course, not due to the influence of the ball, but rather a natural human reaction to being scorned by your own family. What is unusual, however, is how he is so quick to reconcile his differences with the other Wildcats and, despite his status as a member of the country club rather than an employee, become a part of their squad (that’s what kids use nowadays to describe their friend group, yeah?). In the baseball game in HSM2, meant only for employees to play, Ryan nevertheless is permitted to join in and become part of the Wildcat crew. This is also where Chad and Ryan have the most direct contact, to the point where I would argue that Chad realizes that Ryan has been influenced by the ball. It is where Chad claims that he doesn’t dance (he does not pursue his own interests over his loyalty to the Wildcats) whereas Ryan argues that both dance and sport are valid activities. And you know what?
He’s right.
Ryan’s dedication to theatre is not out of self-righteous glory (Sharpay) or a desire to fulfill his own fleeting interests (Troy), but rather to uphold a legacy. Ryan’s argument for why he and Sharpay deserve to be the leads in HSM1 and for them to perform together in HSM2 is because it’s what they’ve done for years and years. It’s upholding a tradition. In Ryan’s own way, he is serving the Wildcats not through upholding a sporting spirit, but through preserving the greatness and glory of the East High theater department. Why else would he be so passionate about keeping the most talented theater actors in the lead roles (whom he believes are himself and his sister), and yet so easily supportive of overthrowing his sister once he forges a bond with the other Wildcats in HSM2? It is because Ryan realizes that Sharpay is not serving the Wildcat legacy, only her own. It is for this reason that Ryan is considered a valid vessel for the ball, and possibly why he and Chad have so much chemistry.
tl;dr Chad’s basketball is a sentient incarnation of the Wildcat spirit that is using him as a vessel and is able to have an influence on true Wildcats through physical contact.

This is not a love story

High School Musical” Gives an Outstanding Message About Acceptance by Teenagers
Excessive Faculty Musical – three Stars (Proper)
The Disney Channel had to be beside itself with the most useful broadcast in January 2006 of “High College Musical” which became its maximum a hit made-for-television movie as much as that time with 7.7 million viewers.
Further to its business success, Excessive Faculty Musical is a good larger artistic success with an extraordinary message about acceptance via teenagers in the trendy world.
This film represents the whole lot that is right about state-of-the-art teens. We see great athletes, first-rate instructional college students, first-class relationships and private increase which ends up in proper questioning, right motives and right actions at the best time.
All of this takes place in a movie this is rated G, not PG, PG-13, R or NC-17. Are you able to recognize how rare it’s far to see a G-rated movie that is not an animated film?
Hundreds of thousands of dad and mom and adults are so unwell and tired of seeing teenagers concerned with filthy language, sexual gymnastics, drug use, homicide, rape, mayhem, and evil doing.
Hollywood says they only make these movies due to the fact it’s far what moviegoers need to see; it truly offers you a perception of just how permissive, warped and out of touch they are with mainstream The use.
Having said that permit me to gush about High College Musical and the pleasant path by way of Kenny Ortega and satisfactory writing by using Peter Barsocchini, who sends a terrific message approximately popularity that every youngster struggles with growing up.
A brand new Year’s Eve party brings Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) together. Even as they’re making a song karaoke collectively they discover their love fortune and hobby in every other.
Gabriella, a totally brilliant student, comes to A new School and rediscovers Troy, a jock, and superstar of the basketball crew. When Troy and Gabriella grow to be fast pals they win a callback during the Faculty musical auditions. youngster drama queen Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) and her brother Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) are upset as they have been the lead within the past 17 Faculty performs.
When Troy’s basketball teammates recognize he has auditioned for the musical and is neglecting his responsibilities as the group captain, and Gabriella’s teammates on the educational group comprehend she has become pals with Troy, individuals of each team conspire to break up their friendship.
While each Troy and Gabriella’s performances slip dramatically and are glaringly distraught because they’re simplest attempting to break out in their expected roles, their teammates confess to the conspiracy to interrupt up their friendship.
The conspiracy is led with the aid of Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu), Troy’s best buddy and basketball teammate, and Taylor McKessie (Monique Coleman), Gabriella’s pal and leader of the School’s Science Club that competes inside the scholastic decathlon. Monique Coleman went directly to compete in the popular series Dancing With the stars.
Sharpay and brother Ryan recognize that Troy and Gabriella are actual competition for his or her normal position on stage and set approximately to disrupt the callback by means of getting their drama instructor Alyson Reed, an even larger drama queen, to alternate the time of the callback to intervene with Troy’s championship basketball recreation and Gabriella’s scholastic decathlon.
Troy enables his group to win the championship, and Gabriella facilitates her crew wins the scholastic decathlon. each of them makes the callback and get the lead role in the play despite the fact that all 3 occasions occur at the identical time. You’ll see the movie to apprehend how their basketball and scholastic teammates devise a plan to make it take place.
by being themselves and having the courage to try something new, both Troy and Gabriella motivate their classmates to strive new pastimes.
Excessive College Musical is ready a numerous College populace that takes variety to a better vicinity. Instead of focusing solely on the problem of variety writer Peter Barsocchini ignores the trite, obvious troubles of coloration of the skin, the length of our bodies and Excellent seems and builds round an excellent more essential point: popularity While being distinctive.
Perhaps we can now circulate directly to no longer being so worried that African American coaches had been opponents inside the maximum latest Exceptional Bowl, and simply deal with the game and gamers. Maybe we can pass on past the whole thing being considered from a racial angle.
Perhaps we are able to sincerely look at the difficulty of acceptance and different critical troubles in the lives of our teenage children instead of focusing on the fact that where reputation does now not exist that it must be race related.
High Faculty Musical indicates teens being devious, screwing up, fessing up to messing up, feeling regret, doing something positive to make it proper, and everybody one being a better man or woman, in the long run, even our drama queen Sharpay and brother Ryan.
more than 600 auditioned for the film and Vanessa Anne Hudgens had to compete with 12 others for the role of Gabriella; she and the alternative girls danced and sang all day to win the position.
Excessive Faculty Musical become the operating identify for the movie and become used When post-production got here due to the fact a better name had no longer surfaced. Andrew Seeley’s voice became dubbed in for Zac Efron.
Seeley composed and sang “Get’cha Head in the sport” which became nominated for an Emmy. Composer Jamie Houston’s “Breaking Loose” was nominated for an Emmy. Ortega becomes additionally nominated for an Emmy as turned into Jason L. A. Padua for amazing Casting.
Excessive College Musical did win one Emmy for terrific Kid’s Software and another for amazing Choreography. In all, the film had nine wins and 10 nominations for diverse awards.
I highly propose this movie for mother and father, teenagers and children of all ages who might have the staying power to sit down thru this movie. Excessive School Musical sends an exceptional message about kids nowadays and desires endured strong support to unfold its effective message
Outdoor Ceiling Fans
If you are making plans on putting in a ceiling fan in an out of doors vicinity, it is essential to buy a fan that is designed especially for that cause. In case your installation an indoor fan in an outdoor area it is in all likelihood to quick out (which can be hazardous) or surely spoil down in advance. Outside ceiling fanatics are designed otherwise than indoor ceiling fanatics due to the fact they need on the way to the forces of mom nature.
Right here are a number of the methods that Outdoor ceiling enthusiasts vary from those made for the interior:
The ornamental motor casing is either sealed or designed to prevent water or moisture from coming in contact with the actual motor inner. The wiring is a higher grade with extra protective. Screws and other additives are normally fabricated from stainless steel. The finish on the motor casing and hardware is usually a weather resistant powder coat, stainless steel, or has some extra protecting coating which could deal with exposure to the elements. The blades are in all likelihood made of ABS plastic rather than plywood. ABS is a completely sturdy durable fabric that resists warping and discoloration from moisture or UV publicity. Light fixtures are sealed on pinnacle and designed for outdoors The mounting hardware is both water tight or designed to prevent water from getting into from above. There are 2 forms of Outside ceiling lovers, the ones rated for DAMP locations and people rated for Wet locations. There’s a great distinction between the two and it’s miles vital which you select the right type of your utility. In both case, ensure the fan you purchase is UL Indexed for the application you want so you recognize it can be properly installed without creating a potential electric danger. Right here are the differences among the 2 sorts of Outdoor fanatics:
Damp rated Outdoor fans are designed to deal with moisture but now not direct touch with rain or walking water. Consequently, a moist rated Outdoor ceiling fan may be mounted in a covered vicinity which includes a patio or screened in porch or other areas which might be blanketed from rain or dripping water.
Wet rated Outside fans are designed to deal with direct publicity to rain. They may be established indefinitely any indoor or Outside vicinity, covered or exposed. So you can deploy a Moist rated Outdoor ceiling fan in an open gazebo, lattice covered lanai or other comparable color structure in addition to underneath a included porch or patio. due to the fact Moist rated Outside fanatics are pretty lots water tight, you may, in reality, clean them through hosting them off…that’s an incredible cause to buy a Wet rated fan even if all you want is a humid rated version.
Usually asked questions about Outside enthusiasts:
Can an outdoor ceiling fan be mounted indoors?
Sure, you could installation an out of doors fan to your residing room or every other room in your property where you want a fan. Many humans will try this sincerely due to the fact they like the look of a specific Out of doors fan. Additionally, Out of doors fanatics are distinctly encouraged for laundry rooms and bathrooms or another room interior your private home that has a tendency to have excessive moisture. In more humid climates, Outdoor enthusiasts are an amazing preference for each room inside the domestic.
I stay in a completely windy vicinity and have had troubles with blades breaking off…Are there any Out of doors enthusiasts that are made to deal with high winds?
high winds can, in fact, sheer the blades of a ceiling fan, in particular, cheaper fashions that use lightweight substances. Normally it’s far the metal blade holders that attach the blades to the fan that damage as opposed to the blades themselves. So If you are in a place liable to high winds, Outdoor fans that do not have blade holders are your great choice. If the fan is to be hooked up in an area that is nine feet high or much less, a hugger style Out of doors fan is even higher. A really perfect instance of this kind of fan is the Minka Aire Concept II Wet, that’s one of the very few Out of doors fanatics that meet this standard.
Are there any Outside fanatics which are designed to be taken down effortlessly or which have blades which are clean to take off while a typhoon is coming?
This is a completely common question. Unluckily the answer isn’t any. There are not any ceiling fans designed with a “Short Disconnect” mechanism or with blades that snap on and stale. However, I think that if any fan manufacturer got here up with such a fan it might be a big seller.
walking wires and putting in a junction box may be difficult in many Out of doors programs. Are there any Out of doors ceiling lovers which might be battery operated?
Despite the fact that DC powered ceiling lovers are actually, in reality, to be had, they’re not but effective sufficient to deal with the needs of outdoor packages, nor are they being designed to paintings from batteries. Currently, maximum DC powered ceiling lovers use an AC/DC converter, so they still require electric wiring. However, I might look for this to exchange in the close to destiny…maximum probably in the next 12 months or two.
Can a far-flung control be introduced to an outdoor ceiling fan?
maximum add-on remotes or wall controls are not rated to be used outdoors, so unless the manipulate is specially designed for the fan you’re thinking about and is rated for the perfect software (Damp or Wet), then you definitely have to now not use it. If a far off manage or wall control is vital to you, search for Out of doors fans which have one of these manipulate covered with the fan.
Prioritizing Making a Difference in Someone’s Life
Deciding on well nowadays is critical, isn’t it? That’s what that word “prioritizing” that humans shy from are all about! I have found which you alternate your life by changing your thinking.
thinking in approaches that get me doing – taking movement! – is what Selecting properly these days way for me.
I can handiest perform a little bit. However, I can do some bit!
I am healing. I’m facing big challenges. Yet I am doing matters.
The manner I do message is by Fans way of figuring Life out that giving up isn’t an alternative.
When I am thinking, k, I’m going to do something? I’m Deciding on from possibilities which can be before me proper now. From what’s in front of me, as Mother Teresa used to say!
It’s no longer that we will do what others are doing. It’s that we are able to do what is before us right now. what’s in the front of us.
That is what Deciding on properly nowadays is set. That is what prioritizing gives you. It offers you the capacity to see what is in front of you right now.
By using noticing what is in front of me right now, I will exchange my wondering and change my lifestyles.
I’ve been a hit. I’ve even been a hit after main disabilities I’ve discovered to control; now I have got greater. But It is the same component: It is a matter of looking out at what’s earlier than me and of spotting what’s within me.
I’ve succeeded towards dramatic odds within the past. I’ve helped humans and made a distinction in this world. I like doing that.
I’m finding approaches to doing that now. Using who I am and my stories, as well as with the aid of The use of the capability to pick out nicely these days.
One of the matters I do is analyzing. It allows inform me and gives me suggestions of other methods of questioning and statistics that is useful.
Any other thing I do is I write. I blog! Slowly. I am sluggish, here and now. But what? I’m doing it!
I’m doing and I am being and I’m creating a distinction in this world. And if I can, you can too!
This week I looked at Every other PayPal sale! It is interesting to sell. But it’s also thrilling to suppose that I will make a difference in a person’s existence.
Choosing nicely nowadays has to do with constructing a foundation for me. constructing a basis by using taking as.

anyways this part is found family but make it christmas <3 and maybe if you like it you could rb or somethin idk <3
“When is Reggie coming over?”
“Not until later.” Nick spared a glance over at his sister, who was sitting with her legs crossed on his bed.
“What’s the point of you having a cool boyfriend if he never comes over?”
“He was literally here yesterday, Leenie.”
“But I didn’t see him because you guys were watching a big people movie,” she whined, before scooting to the edge of the bed and peering over his shoulder. “What are you doing?”
Nick tapped his keypad and hit the “order” button on a sports store webpage. “Buying a Christmas gift for Pops.”
“I already made presents for Pops and Daddy.” Alina bragged, puffing her chest out.
“Your macaroni necklaces were wonderful, Leen.”
Downstairs, a ring sounded, and Chad shouted from the living room, “Nick, Alina, could one of you get the door?”
Alina sprinted out, nearly tripping over a stray basket of clothes in her haste, screaming “REGGIE!” as she went.
The ringing stopped, and Alina’s footsteps patted away as she raced down the staircase.
Silence.
“Well, you’re not Reggie.”
Nick cricked an eyebrow and shut his laptop, trudging over to the stairs. He was pretty sure he told the gang to come over at five to exchange gifts, and it wasn’t even four thirty yet.
It was probably Carrie. She had an obsessive need to be early for everything.
“Care, I told you not to come over until at least four fourty five,” His feet hit the bottom landing, “Why do you have to be so punctual?”
He lifted his head, staring right into the eyes of Sharpay Evans, a rolling pink suitcase and matching duffle bag (that clearly belonged to her) resting by the door.
“If it isn’t my favorite nephew!” His aunt smacked a kiss on his cheek, leaning in for a hug.
Nick gratefully accepted. Aunt Sharpay’s hugs were much better than his other relatives’. Even better than Uncle Troy’s. Not that he would ever say that.
“Where are your dads?” She asked once she let go, hooking her duffel over her arm. “I’ve missed my brother.”
“In the living room, setting up the tree.”
She strutted out, her heels clicking on the wooden floor behind her.
Nick sighed. Pops was definitely going to complain about the scuff marks left on the floor later, just like he did every year.
As if on cue, Chad walked by, a box of ornaments in his grasp, stopping to stare at the hardwood before continuing on. “Ah, scuff marks. Wonderful.” He called over his shoulder, “Stop wearing those heels in my house, Evans!”
Sharpay, fetching herself a glass of water in the kitchen, scoffed. “Says the man who tracked mud into my childhood home with his dirty sneakers every time he came over.”
“Touché.”
The doorbell rang again.
Alina, who was crouched next to a window, bolted up to greet the guest.
Or rather, guests.
Willie Covington kicked off his shoes, a nod at Chad, who was emptying the box of ornaments nearby, “‘Know how much you hate the floor marks, Mr. D,” with Alex Mercer, notably wearing a Christmas tree sweater, by his side.
Not unlike Willie, Alex removed his tennis shoes, this time shooting a polite smile to Nick’s family.
Willie clapped Nick’s shoulder. “Copernicus.”
“Wilbur.”
Julie walked through the doorway, a plate of Christmas cookies in her hands (“From Tía Victoria,”), Reggie trailing behind her.
Alina let out a squeal, rushing past Julie and throwing herself into Reggie’s arms. “Nick, your cool boyfriend is here,” She giggled as the bassist tickled her stomach, squirming about.
“Nick, you didn’t tell me your aunt was in town!” Julie exclaimed, heading into the kitchen.
“Merry Christmas, my angel,” Reggie, now free of Alina’s death grip, pressed a soft kiss to Nick’s hair, making his boyfriend avert his gaze, a flush coloring his cheeks.
“Awe, is someone embarrassed?” A voice teased.
Nick lifted his head and stared over Reggie’s shoulder, narrowing his eyes at Luke Patterson, who was loaded down with an armful of wrapped gifts. “Shut up.”
Reggie kissed Nick’s forehead again, chuckling.
“Say, Luke, why are you carrying all those packages anyway?” Nick asked.
He huffed. “I drew the short straw.”
“Julie drew the short straw,” Reggie corrected. “Luke offered to carry them for her.”
Alex picked a couple of the presents off of Luke’s haul. “Don’t drop any.”
His friend picked up a small gift and threw it at his head in response.
“Hey, where’s Carrie and Flynn?” Julie wandered back into the room, taking the stray package off of the floor as well as a couple others out of Luke’s hands.
“Oh, that.” Willie’s smile was wide as he gathered the last of the gifts. “They’re coming at five.”
“Five?” Julie dumped all the presents into Alex’s arms, ignoring his protests and pulling her phone from her jeans pocket. “It’s four forty-five.”
“Yeah, we told them to come at five fifteen. We figured Carrie would show up early, and we wanted to get everything set up before she went into party-planning mode, so…”
“When did this happen?” Her arms crossed.
“Yesterday. In the group chat without you in it. Or Nick, we wanted to surprise him. Reggie’s not in there either. He has a big mouth.” Willie sped out of the room before Julie could bombard him with any more questions, Alex close behind.
“I do not have a big mouth!” Reggie protested, his hands falling to his sides.
Nick kissed his cheek. “Yes you, dear.”
“Nicky!” Alina appeared next to them, tugging on Nick’s hand. “Come look!”
“At what, Leen-” Nick was pulled away before he could get an answer.
The family Christmas tree, lit up in glimmering rainbow lights, dozens of presents piled underneath its branches, a stark contrast from the twig Chad had brought home earlier that morning.
“Me an’ Daddy did it.” Alina smiled a smile that was nearly as bright as the tree itself, tapping her heels together.
Chad, who was helping Willie with the gifts, frowned. “What about me?”
Alina patted his shoulder. “I guess you helped a lil’, Pops.”
Ryan smirked to himself from the kitchen, where he was filling mugs with steaming hot chocolate. “Alright, kids, gather round.”
He and Sharpay passed the cups around as everyone gathered in a circle around the tree, snuggling close to their respective partners (or in Alina’s case, brother’s boyfriend,) before starting to hand out gifts.
Nick was about to unwrap one that seemed an awful lot like a scarf (it was from Luke) when the door slammed open.
“I’m so sorry we’re late!” Carrie fluttered in, dozens of plastic shopping bags in her hands. “Flynn wanted to stop at this store, to get some purple socks for Julie? I’m not quite sure-”
Flynn, decked from head to toe in Christmas attire, made herself comfortable next to Julie and threw a pair of socks into her lap. “Happy Holidays, Jules.”
Julie held them to her chest. “They’re beautiful, Flynn. Thank you.”
“See? Told you she would love them!” Flynn said with a pointed glance at her girlfriend, who just rolled her eyes in response.
Reggie scooted closer to Nick, maneuvering around a quietly snoring Alina before twining their fingers together.
Nick leaned into the touch, leaning back on his other palm, accidentally hitting his full hot chocolate mug in the process.
The cup trembled but didn’t spill, and he let out a sigh of relief, knowing the rage his dad would’ve gone into if the brown liquid got all over his pristine carpet.
Reggie moved the cup out of the way, patting Alina’s hair with a kind smile.
Nick squeezed his palm gently, pulling him in for a light kiss, drawing back and staring into Reggie’s kind green eyes.
His boyfriend kissed his forehead with a concerned gaze. “Is everything alright?”
Nick just grinned back at him. “Everything is perfect. Merry Christmas, rockstar.”

For @benignbitch19 - happy birthday, darling!!! I hope you like this little fic of the first gen responding to Anthony and Sabrina’s budding romance. Sorry for any possible errors; I’ve proofread it, but I feel like I have missed stuff regardless.
--
Troy finds out the moment Sabrina first walks into his classroom.
After he gets over the shock that Sharpay Evans’ daughter is now his student and the discomfort that the look in her eyes, which resembles her mother’s fiery, menacing stare a little bit too much, instils in him, he can’t help but notice his son’s response to the new student.
Anthony watches the scene before him with curiosity that morphs into confusion as his father starts fumbling through his words embarrassedly as the girl stares him down.
Troy, in turn, can’t help but notice the way Anthony is fixating on Sabrina as she moves to take the seat right next to him. Anthony stays quiet as Sabrina snaps at Brad Danforth when he points out that she’s in his seat. He smiles at her affably as her eyes land on him.
Troy knows that glint in his son’s eyes; it’s a spark that reveals an attraction and curiosity that he recognizes from a long forgone past, from a New Year’s Eve nearly thirty years ago when he had been forced to participate in karaoke and had been immediately captivated by the gorgeous girl with the pretty voice he had been partnered with.
It’s a look of love at first sight, and on the chance that it’s not that serious, Anthony is definitely interested and while this should worry Troy, he tries not to let it bother him, because he doesn’t know this girl and he remembers how much it broke his heart when Jack didn’t approve of Gabriella.
That doesn’t stop him from narrowing his eyes as Sabrina rolls her eyes at Anthony’s smile and turns away from him.
However, he also notices that Sabrina keeps sneaking glances and smiling coyly at Anthony while Troy rattles off the morning announcements.
And something tells him that this obviously mutual crush is not going to dissipate any time soon.
--
Gabriella finds out because she senses that something has changed in both her children after the arrival of Sabrina.
Anthony has been particularly perky recently, always in a peculiarly good mood. He’s brought her more bouquets of flowers than she can count and she’s caught him singing in the shower a few times too many.
Meanwhile, Isabela has been quiet and desolate, isolating herself from her family and Gabriella’s quite certain she’s heard Isabela screaming in her room on more than one occasion.
Gabriella suspects Anthony is in love. She suspects Isabela is on the verge of a mental breakdown.
She doesn’t realize that both these changes in her children’s behaviour – one that makes her want to squeal with excitement and one that fills her stomach with dread and concern – are due to the same person and situation until Troy casually mentions Sharpay’s daughter who has causing him headaches all semester during dinner one evening.
From the corner of her eye, Gabriella sees Troy gaze at Anthony sharply, but what really perks her interest is that Anthony and Isabela both respond to Troy’s comment.
Anthony’s face completely lights up and he grins widely yet awkwardly under his father’s gaze, while Isabela slumps in her chair, sulking.
It doesn’t take long for Gabriella to put two and two together with regard to Anthony; he has a crush on Sabrina.
Isabela’s reaction is more difficult to figure out. She suspects that Sabrina might be harassing Isabela and the thought brings back terrible memories of the rivalry she had had with Sabrina’s mother.
However, she also notices the soft blush that settles on her daughter’s face, matching the blush on her brother’s face and while she is still wary of Sabrina due to Troy’s stories and the fact that she’s Sharpay Evans’ daughter, Gabriella can’t help but smile.
Her children both have feelings for the same girl.
Then the tragedy of it all settles in and her smile turns sad as she grabs both Anthony and Isabela’s hands and squeezes tightly.
She just hopes it won’t lead to too much heartbreak.
--
Sharpay and Peyton find out the first time they meet Anthony.
Anthony and Sabrina aren’t dating yet, but both Sharpay and Peyton are more than suspicious when they find a boy residing in Sabrina’s room.
To be fair, it’s broad daylight and they’re genuinely doing homework, but Sharpay is more shocked by who it is.
The minute she walks in, Anthony gets up from his position on the floor by Sabrina’s bed, sticking his hand out and nervously introducing himself as he scratches his neck.
He’s the spitting image of both his parents, Sharpay thinks, seeing that same goofiness in his smile that had drawn her to his father, the object of her former affections, while his eyes are innocent and sickeningly sweet like his mother’s.
Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez’s son is in her daughter’s room. Her daughter is friends with her former rivals’ son.
It’s the way that Sabrina is leering at Anthony, not unlike the way she herself used to leer at Troy, that raises her suspicions that they may be more than friends.
She should be happy that her daughter is showing emotion, she knows that, but Sharpay is bitterly angry that she’s showing that emotion towards him of all people.
So, her body trembles with rage and her face turns red as she opens her mouth to scream at Anthony Bolton to get out of her home, but it’s Peyton’s comforting hand on her shoulder that calms her down enough to ask Anthony to leave nicely.
Sabrina springs up from her bed defensively as she exclaims that nothing is going on between her and Anthony and Peyton almost believes her, until she sees Anthony’s hand land on her shoulder and Sabrina relax, the gesture perfectly mirroring Peyton’s own way of calming down Sharpay.
Peyton knows the stories about Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, but he can’t help but feel a rush of relief at seeing his daughter express emotion, so he just smiles and apologizes for Sharpay as he shakes Anthony’s hand, before the boy grabs his things and rushes out of the house, Sharpay watching his every movement with a menacing glare.
Sharpay hopes that she’ll never have to see Anthony Bolton again.
Peyton hopes that Anthony will return as soon as possible.
--
Ryan and Kelsi find out through Rory.
Rory mentions it in passing during dinner one day and Ryan almost chokes on his drink, Ben quickly patting his husband’s back to avoid any Sabrina-related deaths, while Kelsi’s eyes widen in horror.
Then, they share an amused yet pained look as they realize what an utter disaster this is going to be and after dinner, they make a pact to talk to both parties to stop this from reaching levels of catastrophe. To gauge the situation and to provide any necessary advice.
They expect their advice to be about ending the relationship, but it’s not.
Ryan talks to Sabrina first. When he brings it up, less subtly than he hopes, she launches into a tantrum that makes him wince with the recollection of far too many memories of his sister subjecting him to similar tirades.
If it were his sister, he’d probably roll eyes and make a few snarky comments, but now he sits through it and smiles and holds his niece’s hand until she’s finished.
She turns to him and tells him, shakily, that she really likes Anthony and Ryan feels something tug at his heart, for he doesn’t often see her so vulnerable.
He tells her that Anthony’s a great guy and that he’s sure they’ll make a great couple and that she won’t screw it up.
He’s known Anthony for years, so he knows the first part is true, but he’s not quite sure whether he believes the second part.
He hopes he’s right, though.
After Ryan tells Kelsi what happened with Sabrina, Kelsi invites Anthony over for a nice cup of tea to catch up and discuss the recent developments of the East High drama department – she already knows all of that through Troy, though, but Anthony doesn’t need to know that.
When she mentions Sabrina, he goes bright red and when she probes a little further, he spills his whole heart out to her. He tells her about how much he likes Sabrina and how much it scares him and she finds it adorable, the whole situation bringing up fond memories for Kelsi of watching the early days of Troy and Gabriella’s relationship.
She hugs him at the end and tells him to go for it, that he has nothing to fear – she doesn’t tell him that she knows about Sabrina’s feelings through Ryan – and that she’d be a fool if she rejected him.
He laughs and tells her he’s not sure that’s true, but he promises her that he’ll go for it.
Ryan and Kelsi share a small victory dance when they find out that Anthony and Sabrina are dating.
--
Chad and Taylor find out through Troy and Gabriella.
When Troy and Gabriella first bring it up on their bimonthly double date, Chad bursts into a fit of hysterical laughter as he claims it’s bullshit, while Taylor goes off on a tangent about how Sabrina is probably not good enough for Anthony and how she already has to deal with Sabrina as Brad and Paige’s new best friend and she can’t handle her as Anthony’s girlfriend, too.
However, Chad does start to notice that Anthony and Sabrina’s energy in gym class is… odd. He notices small, lingering touches, flirty teasing, blushes.
After a week of watching them carefully, he reluctantly admits to Troy that he was right and after that, he resolves to make the most of it by constantly teasing Anthony about it and making his godson’s life a living hell.
Taylor doesn’t get it until she sees Anthony and Sabrina interact at the Bolton’s annual end-of-summer barbeque, to which Sabrina and her parents are invited this year in a new attempt of Gabriella’s to bury the hatchet.
Taylor takes great pleasure in Sharpay’s bitter scowl that doesn’t leave her face all through the night, but she also takes pleasure in seeing how Sabrina snuggles into Anthony’s side hesitantly and how he stares at her like she’s hung the moon.
It embarrasses Taylor as she realizes she’s given Sabrina the same treatment she gave Troy back in the day, her distrust born out of unfounded prejudice.
She vows to be more considerate of Sabrina from now on and to tell Anthony later that she’s truly happy for him.
She also vows to stop her husband from making more unsubtle innuendos towards the lovebirds and to stop him from drinking too much and doing something embarrassing in general.
She secretly enjoys the innuendos, though, and the next time she locks eyes with Anthony, she winks and wiggles her eyebrows at him, laughing as she watches him squirm.
