Thanks to the post-credit scene, director Ryan Coogler wanted to close his farewell to Chadwick Boseman and the legacy that Black Panther left not only in the Marvel universe. It is a touching scene, which gives hope for the future and casts a sweeter light on the past. The worthy conclusion of a film that wants to be able to sew the void left by the premature death of the American actor, without replacing it.
Thank you Chad, thank you so much for making us witness your immense skill. ♥️♥️♥️
I’m so happy the writers , Ryan Coogler and co-writer Joe Robert Cole didn’t hide from the truth of how death and grief affects everyone differently and gave her safe space to allow Shuri to be vulnerable, and allowed Shuri to take her time to grieve in her own way. I lost someone who’s basically my mother a few months ago to the same type of illness that was rare and no cure for it so i completely understand the heartbreak, her pain, the guilt, her frustration and anger of not being able to save the person you love so damn much. I’m still grieving and processing Chadwick Boseman’s death, it hurt my loved one’s heart when she found out about him passing, she enjoyed Black Panther and it was even more touching and meaningful for me to watch Wakanda Forever for her since the next day was her funeral. “All the Stars” was her favorite song from the soundtrack and now she’s with the ancestors 🤍🌸🌹
This is the first time that my post is being pictured on the header of any tag. So thanks to Tumblr and if you haven't checked out my new post then go and check it out.
Watching Black Panther today and Andy Serkis just fought Chadwick Boseman and is so proud of himself and I’m over here like bro you gotta go learn to swim ☹️😭
the black panther franchise is proof that female characters, superheroes no less, can have cool, attractive costumes, while still being fully covered and not completely sexualized and that the female body can exist outside of sexualization; that female characters can be fully developed and have emotions and struggles just as male characters do; that female emotions are equally as important and valid as men’s; and that men will still eat that shit UP everytime!!
