CHOT Two Truths And a Lie 💀
MY GOD YALL CC DID A TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE ON INSTAGRAMMMM
1) a head of an institute is going to be killed
2) belial is going to fly around on a talking bird
3) a main character is going to die and be reborn as a vampire
- shes so good at fucking with us bc shes 100% seen the theories of matthew turning into a vampire AND IF HE DOES TURN WOULD SHE SPOIL ITTT... to throw us off? now these theories dont seem as far fetched, but that's such a confusing and open ended ending bc then hes immortal?? 😩 ig he’ll might show up in TWP
- i literally do not care about any of the institute heads (except wessa ofc), but its specific enough to make you question it 🤷 its probably the Paris head or another English head, maybe as a plot scheme to get the adults out of town (bc they would have to go take care of it)
- and its kinda reasonable that belial is flying around on a bird?? she’s probably overexaggerating so it seems ridiculous and more like a lie?? to throw us off 😔 but its also rly odd-
HELP IM LITERALLY GOING IN CIRCLES WHY DID SHE DO THIS TO US

Aside from a touch and affection-starved Jesse that I clearly like and I'm sure will enjoy, this situation feels precisely like what happened with Jordelia. COG and COI James had the gracelet, which inhibited his real feelings for Cordelia, and which made Cordelia very frustrated because she didn't know whether James was being truthful with her or not, until she run away to Paris. It seemed as if the gracelet would never break and Jordelia would never be able to declare their feelings, until it breaks. Whenever Jordelia made out, surprisingly, they weakened the power of the gracelet until the gracelet broke down for good. It didn't break because of magic. It broke because of the power of love and passion and desire that James and Cordelia felt for each other. True love broke an enchantment of fake love. I believe that Blackdale are in a same situation. Lucie's love for Jesse kept him more here than there and helped him back into this world. Her love saved his soul, in a way, but in return, she had to give something back. From the snippets released so far, we know that Lucie and Jesse can't touch but they seem to want to try to kiss and make out anyway. And it seems as if it might be working. I think perhaps Lucie was bound by an enchantment like the one in the gracelet, just in reverse. James was manipulated into thinking he liked somebody else and to give the person he loved mixed signals, which made her (Cordelia), decide to run away to cure her broken heart. Lucie, on the contrary, is even more in love with Jesse after brining him back (and so is he), but they can't actively live that love because they can't do the physical/touching part of love. So they might break this curse (because that's what it is) by daring to get physical (as in, to make out et similar). Just like Jordelia did. In return, Jordelia will instead have to work on the building trust and declaring their feelings part, so the not physical part of love, which Blackdale already started building in COI.

Grace and kit— COI re read
Just read the Grace and Kit chapters again in Chain of Iron- am I the only one who didn’t feel any ‘romantic’ chemistry with these two?
All Kit can think about is having a partner to do experiments with, his thought process doesn’t extend any further than that.
I think I would love it more if they only developed a deep friendship and partnership. So much of Grace’s life has been dependent of getting men to fall in love with her, she she probably has little interest in romantic love either at this point.

Cassandra find another trope for God's sake
The whole "I am in love with my best friend boyfriend or girlfriend" drama only worked out with Herongraystairs bc it's Herongraystairs 😣😣
But since it was so successful, Cassandra thinks she can try the same cake recipe EVERY book
Cassandra needs a longtime reader of her books to give a critical review of her plotlines 😑
I am so sad for Matthew, this is a missed chance of development for him

things about michael kaiser.
kaiser is genuinely interesting and i really want to see more of him really. despite the vendetta i have against him for touching isagi's chin. so im rotating him in my head for a bit here for reasons. this is more of me observing and putting down what i perceive so far, especially with his personality. some are hcs and assumptions. manga spoiler up to uber match ending btw.
this guy is teasing isagi a lot and does not shy away from touching isagi when doing so. their literal first meeting, that one headpat—like is it more of a display of power? very likely.
but then look at how his face was at his teammates during vs barcha, then vs manshine, and in that screening room with ness. this guy is cold, like his expression change between cold, expressionless, or pissed. with sheeting and smug as an extra.
then come the vs uber + fragile ego theory (his volume cover that use glass chain instead of iron as usual, a pretty popular theory)—and yeah if his confrontation with chris and lorenzo is any indication. yeah, this guy got something going on there
which is where after this, as there is no backstory for him yet let's start headcanoning and/or analyzing his behaviour and lil bits of info. first thing first noa.
in barcha, part of this guy's strategy is staying away from the masters' 1v1. which is smart, very cool and understandable. shows that kaiser is not all smug and drive the point even more that he is talented and smart too. is in line with isagi's perception of him, a very good player—paraphrased btw.
but then vs mc came and stuffs gets interesting. after nagi's miracle goal, chris and noa enter the field. if you look at his face around here, he is clearly not happy.
and i think this is where kaiser's fragile ego really starts to show. nagi—the 'shitty baby chick'—pretty much 'win' against him and isagi and scored what pretty much is a super goal. a flashy one.
and now chris and noa, the #2 & #1 is in the field.
remember kaiser's goal? the one where he want to get out of bm via auction. and if anything so far, NEL shows us that you have to stand out to win higher bidding.
put it simply, probably the reason he is not happy at that point is that his chance to shine more is pretty much getting heavily hindered already.
and this is more headcanonny, but this guy definitely has a complex and a tendency. the said tendency is pretty much spelled out by chris—"going against the weaker one, but escape the stronger one". and even tho kaiser get pissed and go head to head with chris—probably due to a bruised ego, which would be a point that would came up again later—this tendency seems to be in line with him wanting to go out from bm.
"he can't shine with noa there"—if this was isagi or barou or rin, i highly doubt this sentence would appear at all. which is interesting because undoubtedly, so far, kaiser is shown as someone who is as strong if not stronger than isagi. but this, along with the line that kaiser said about him only feeling happy when putting people down, only shows his reluctance in 'fighting' noa. opting to just be in another club to reach the top.
i think this has potential to be read as "kaiser's ego is all about destroying other people" (aka the already corrupted mean girl esque guy get even worse and corrupted) or "kaiser will get schooled by the plot and isagi" (aka character development baby, in 'true? ego awakening' kind of way that might or might not be similar to various bluelockers). but as of now, uber is just ending and rin just appeared again. pxg and backstory not out yet so who knows
back to topic, calling kaiser's ego 'weak' right now is not wrong tho. it is easily bruised—it has been repeatedly so far, by chris and isagi during vs mc as the two most in the face examples.
but on another side, kaiser really is not an all talk guy. he is effective, definitely put himself on a high standard, and is not a lazy player (quite harsh on himself, if that uber goal of his was anything to go by). (personal bias and opinion, but i really hope his character will grow even after NEL. this guy is entertaining as hell to watch and he is like an onion. writing wise, i really like him.)
then there is his vendetta (?) with noa. while how and what their bond truly is hasn't been explicitly shown or talked about, there is definitely an odd, pretty antagonistic relationship as a mentor and a pupil there. noa seems to held a certain expectations for kaiser while kaiser seems to not like when noa meddles or comment on him. (and tbh, while isagi is the one 'chosen' by noa so far, i would be 0 percent surprised if noa in a way 'use' isagi to shape kaiser too. rationality, something something, rivalry, something. i will go back to this after i sleep maybe)
idk how far it goes but this guy sounds like a theater kid and he is dramatic. idk what to do with this.
so far we dont even know his age and height. and it's uber match ending......i will update this list one day. hopefully.
kaiser also has two popular theory going on about his back story. 'really poor like noa (and that's why in that one cover the ball under his feet is dirty)' or 'really rich because he seems pretty spoiled and unknowning of the harsh world (hence his weak ego)'. personally, i think both theories have their strength and weakness. so i will just shut up about this.
but back to kaiser's ego—which seems to be the biggest peek into his personality as a whole so far—i really wonder how will the theme of 'fragile ego' will eventually intertwine with his theme of 'doing the impossible'. like, blue rose, the sheer concept of kaiser impact being that OP, his overall capability in changing the flow of a match—this guy is just a reasonable and believable deus ex machina sometimes, for the lack of better wording.
but, truly, the fact that his friendliness and teasing persona is more of a facade. while the 'truer' part is more angry and cold is just chef's kiss.
it makes one really wonder about his speech about envy to yukimiya and his attitude. like this guy is disgustingly cocky towards those he saw as below him, is bothered when someone goes against him, and really dislike it when someone is better or manage to put him down.
and then there is still his comment about isagi—who still keep going even though kaiser repeatedly prove to him that kaiser is superior. like, again, this guy is so interesting in the way while there are conflicting aspects of him, i genuinely think they make sense. this is the guy who keeps looking up and put a high and harsh standard on himself, all while actively choosing to face people he knows are inferior to him instead of actively going up and clashing against stronger opponent. all while being very very skillful and talented.
while honestly there is a very sad undertone here, if my gut is right, this approach of his is really... cowardly? pathetic? in blue lock setting. like, the fact that he is not the main character aside, with this sort of personality and mindset? yeah no way he is becoming the best in the world.
all in all, a very interesting bastard that is more than what meets the eye. isagi being surprised of his play being so good feels relatable now.
very hc territory, but the classic trope of 'flirty confident guy with issues' being twisted this much is so fun. the issue genuinely makes me squint my eyes.
yeah okay, this guy have issues. i smell insecurities. with high self standard that must be hell. (hc, unconfirmed. still no kaiser backstory or height info or bday in sight so far.)

"DIO's Heaven" A jjba world building theory no one asked for that has been TORTURING me for years.
❗❗ SPOILERS FOR PARTS 1-6❗❗
Tumblr media
OK LET'S GO "The Heaven pertaining the soul, WHERE it'll go." Tl;dr: Heaven is a place. Here's how:
We know that in the Jojo universe Hell and Heaven are equally talked about as a religious belief. In part 1 young Dio was sure his Father was going to end up in Hell for the atrocities he committed his whole life.
Tumblr media
And again, in part 6 Dio specifies that the Heaven he talks about is where the human spirit will go after death. With the introduction of stands, the visual personification of souls, we clearly see this happen multiple times, especially the ascension to Heaven, where they'll finally find peace.
In part 5 we'll also see how, ironically, dying is the only way to escape the chains of Fate. The same Fate that has been object of both oppression AND obsession for Dio since his young age. He believed it was in his Destiny to accomplish his early goals, being Jojo also part of this bigger plan. Of course he was wrong.
Failing to realize how Jojo was the closest person to him (and how attached he was), this dumb man ends up killing him and then regretting the act. I don't wanna go too much in detail about it because we all have read the manga and perfectly know what happens, so, Dio just lost the most important person in his life and had 100 years to overthink about it at the bottom of the sea. Perhaps, taking jojo's body wasn't what Destiny meant for them as "being two that make one" and this dumb dumb can't go back in time. ...or can he? Let's proceed in order
All Dio wants is happiness (relatable, i know) that can only be found in Heaven. Why? We'll see this later, i wanna focus first on how to get there. Because as we said, Heaven is an actual place. But reaching it isn't very easy, especially if you're not dead. Also there's another MAIN issue: Dio isn't human. By rejecting his humanity through the stone mask he basically lost any little chance to ascend to Heaven, because believe it or not: vampires may have a soul, but they're damned. After death there's absolute nothing, no Hell either. Just this:
Tumblr media
But Dio knew this well. His death was a temporary but necessary phase, he'll write about it in his journal (he simply wasn't expecting it to happen like THAT, sigh) and his plan is safe also thanks to an unexpected gift, a little trinket, that carries his consciousness and dna.
Let's recap Dio's instructions to get to Heaven:
-A trustworthy friend. “He must be someone who is not interested in political power, fame, wealth, or sexual desire, and who chooses the will of God before the law of humans.” I will talk about God a lot as ideal, but even if we have a tangible proof of saints existing in JJBA I still don’t wanna claim God’s existence as certain. We have Dio doubting it himself (“If God exists”) and sure there is a force ruling the events, but I have a quite different view on what this force actually is. Let’s continue;
-His stand, The World, and “courage”. “I must have the courage to destroy my Stand momentarily. As it disintegrates, my Stand will absorb the souls of the 36 sinners and will give birth to something utterly new.” -The souls of 36 humans who have sinned, “because those who havesinned harbor a strong power within.” It is said that we, humankind as a whole, are “sinners who need God’s grace” and that the true distinction between a bad person, worthy of going to Hell, and a good person, worthy of Heaven while being forgiven for their sins, resides in the ability to feel “regret” for their own actions. I believe the sinners being from the Green Dolphin street Prison’s lowest circle was providential: they’re all criminals who voluntarily rejected God, their soul already belongs to Hell. So why? There’s a deep symbolism in this.
The sinners are a reference to Dio’s past identity, the man who rejected humanity in favor of world domination (Actually not just that, but now it’s not the time for an in-depth analysis of Dio’s psyche). Such a person would never reach Heaven, right? Well, the key is in “regret”.
Exactly because Dio regretted his actions attaining Heaven it’s not impossible, just very difficult. We said he was gonna use the souls of sinners, but sinners go in the opposite direction, to Hell. So how is it possible? The trick is in the number: 36 has a double meaning. If we look at it mathematically, the sum of the integers from 1 to 36 is 666, the number of the Beast (and Dio was referred to as the Evil in opposition to the Good, with a name so contrasting to make everything even more interesting). On the other hand, 36 has also very positive meanings: the actual number of texts in Holy Scriptures is 36, it’s said that in every generation there are exactly 36 perfectly righteous people alive (we could easily also call them saints) and the world only continues to exist in their merit as they contain a spark of the Divine Light within them, that same light that first shone for 36 hours after its creation and before being replaced by the Sun… But most importantly, 36 has a meaning of rebirth. It’s two times 18, which carries the meaning of “life” (from the Hebrew letters that spell “chai”, meaning "living") so 36 translates into “two lives”. Thinking about it, it’s exactly what happens through the Green baby: Dio reincarnating as someone new, a new pure lifeform free from his sins, no more damned.
Tumblr media
-The cryptic 14 phrases, engraved into The World, so that he couldn’t forget them. I believe these phrases carry Dio’s past but also his Future. Something that after his rebirth would let him not forget where he came from, but also remember where he’s going. Which is why they’re so important and spark a reaction in the Green Baby:
“Whatever is born will "awaken". It will show interest in the 14 words that my trusted friend will utter... My friend will trust me and I will become his "friend".” We’ll witness the first Gravity-induced fusion in the entire series, something that will become more familiar later in Jojolion.
-”Lastly, I need an appropriate location. North latitude, 28 degrees, 24 minutes, West longitude 80 degrees, 36 minutes. Go there and wait for the New Moon. That's when Heaven will come.” AND THIS, RIGHT HERE, IS WHERE WE START. The foundation of how Heaven, Gravity and Fate, Souls and Stands work in the Jojoverse. And also where things start being complicated. The best way to explain everything is starting from Pucci and his role in Dio's plan, then moving back to the first manifestation of Stands. As i said before, in PB the existence of God is in doubt because we don’t have any tangible proof, it's simply an idea sustained by faith. What if i tell you that God, as an actual figure, is actually a product of human actions and everything is governed by Gravity/Fate instead? We know that Dio and Pucci encounter was a product of Gravity, and so was their fusion: there's a reason why he tripped on him, of all people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's exact after this moment, when all left to do is "waiting for Heaven to come" that we get the first actual manifestation of the Divine: the recurrence of number 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Biblically, the number 3 represents Divine wholeness, completeness and perfection. If there ever was a desire to highlight an idea, thought, event or noteworthy figure for their prominence, the number 3 was used to put a Divine stamp of completion or fullfilment on the subject.
Now i'm not saying that Dio is God or became one (THAT would be interesting and i already valued the possibility some years ago), but seems like in the Jojoverse there's no room for coincidences and everything happens as planned by Destiny, so these 3 people being the sons of Dio and drawn to Pucci are exactly where they were meant to be. If God doesn't exist, this is still the proof of how Dio is getting closer to the ruling force of the Universe: Gravity. And through it, finally find happiness. So, we're waiting for Heaven and we have a very specific place where to go for make it happen. Cape Canaveral: the most optimal place to launch a rocket. But what does this have to do with Heaven? OH, MORE THAN YOU IMAGINE. Because it is a place. But i never said it was on Earth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To understand our destination better, i wanna make a step back. Ecclesiastes 12:7 says “and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” We said we don’t have real evidence of God, but spirits DO go somewhere. Foo will say it clearly: the spirit/soul can’t stay on Earth for long, with the only exception of a sudden or tragic death, tying them to a specific place. In most cases, they have unfinished business as the deceased person does not accept the way in which they died (like Riemi or Kira and his father). But once this soul is freed, and if they're worthy, they all go in the same direction: up in the sky, welcomed by a very bright light.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heaven is often described as the "highest place" and in the Scriptures, in both Hebrew (shamayim) and Greek (ouranos), it can be translated as "sky".
The first line of the Bible also states that Heaven is created along with the creation of the Earth (Genesis 1). SO. We're looking for a VERY bright something in the sky, created post Big Bang and as old as the entire Universe, which is also deeply subject to Gravity. I already have a very clear idea in mind, but let's also drag in the mix what Pucci knows: the World, a stand involved with the manipulation of TIME, was NECESSARY for reaching of the conditions to attain Heaven. Who's that pokemon? It's a Quasar!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An astronomical object of VERY high luminosity found in the centres of some galaxies and powered by gas spiraling at high velocity into an extremely large black hole. SO IS HEAVEN A QUASAR?!? Ahah no, but there, at its core, that's where our bus ticket is.
Quasars are some of the brightest objects known, able to outshine all the other stars and can be trillions of times brighter than the Sun. They were much more common when the universe was young, must have been able to form after the universe began to expand. But any simple one won't do, no. To find Heaven we must identify the first, oldest quasar in the Universe, which hosts a very peculiar and unique, primordial, supermassive black hole: the gate for true, unfettered happiness. I'll try to make this as simple as possible leaving out every superflous notion or math about general theory of relativity or we'll NEVER be able to get to the point. At the start i hinted to the possibility of going back in time. Yes and no, it's a bit more complicated than just press rewind but Pucci was right, it IS involved with attaining Heaven.
In astronomy, a black hole is a physical location of no return because Gravity is so strong that nothing -not even light- can escape. As you get closer to it, the flow of time slows down progressively to the extreme. From an outside viewpoint it's like time stops.
Tumblr media
At its center, a black hole is thought to have a singularity point: a location where matter is compressed down to infinity and all conceptions of time and space completely break down. Some even call it "Reverse creation". But as we said, to reach Heaven we seek something way more specific.
As far as we know distant objects are seen as they existed in the past and quasars are the most distant and oldest that astronomers have been able to detect. The most distant quasars are seen at a time when the universe was one tenth its present age, roughly a billion years after the Big Bang. So we're not fully able to find our special primordial black hole, unless we have a way to get closer in a matter of time: Made in Heaven's ability to accelerate time to infinity through gravitational power manipulation will be providential in this. By moving back in time we get to reach and go over the Cosmic Microwave Background, a remnant from an early hot, opaque plasma stage post Big Bang and an evidence of it being the origin of the Universe, the beginning of time. We have zero knowledge of what's behind it as we can't observe it.
Tumblr media
Assuming that Made in Heaven brings us there, what now? In the designed location, moving at infinite speed towards the singularity point of a black hole as old as the Universe itself, and with time SLOWING down once we meet the Singularity point, WHERE are we going? Incredibly, our answer can be found in the Book of the dead. In Ancient Egypt it was believed that the afterlife was a mirror image of life on Earth. Death was only a transition, not a completion, and opened the way to the possibility of eternal happiness. So let's consider this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
An entire universe behind a black hole, exactly like the one we know, but unaffected by the laws of Gravity as the Fate we know that keeps everyone in chains. Where a soul lives like any their normal life on Earth, but free to act outside any binary AND with the lack of the "Evil" that messed with their previous life, with the promise of a happy otherworldly existence. A chance of rebirth, staying true to yourself, but aware of mistakes you won't commit again. Now if this isn't Heaven i don't know what it is... It makes sense that through Made in Heaven only living organisms could reach such place, as the dead are already subject to the laws of Gravity in their predestined travel to either Hell or Heaven. But things got messed up by Pucci's intentions, as his stand ability is subject to his own belief, desires and psyche.
It is possible that "knowing your future in advace resulting in peace of mind and happiness" belief caused Pucci and Emporio to travel back in the course of Time jumping in a new world where destiny will repeat itself, hence the ability to see the nearest future as vision. And this is anywhere near to what truly Heaven is supposed to be. Happiness won't come from reviving your life exactly like it was (in fact the sole differences we spot are due the people that were already dead being replaced by their own version belonging to that world) but as we said it's the act of being FREE from the laws of Gravity. I believe this shift of intention is what caused Pucci's demise and Emporio's travel to a secondary parallel universe, hinting the existence of a multiverse where every world is connected to the others through the numerous black holes that reside in them. But neither of them would lead to the afterlife except for one. How much does this complicate things? Very.
Tumblr media
Probably if Dio and Pucci were able to spend more time together, with Dio explaining better his view and belief, nothing of the canon timeline since before Pucci's death (his death included) would ever happen and everyone would be living their best life in Heaven. Or even better, if Dio were able to realize his plan before the events of part 3... (all the pain of SDC... gone, never existed. Sigh.)
Identifying Heaven as an Universe (including space and time, planets, stars, galaxies, all the forms of matter, energy, the souls of every creature and humanity) makes everything extremely interesting when we look at how the Jojoverse works.
Given that the gate for Heaven is a Quasar, it's known that sometimes they shoot out pairs of straight jets, containing matter moving close to the speed of light in a tight beam, to distances far beyond the galaxies they live in: how does this affect the worlds these beams reach?
Tumblr media
For a start, we can assume that with Creation every living creature is born with a soul, that is shaped after the individual's choices, experience and psyche. In various religions it's attribuited to the Divine spark gifted by Gods. The references to light are so many that is difficult to call them a coincidence in a setting where "coincidence" isn't really something possible with Gravity's laws. Back to our matter escaped from Heaven, if it were to get in touch with a normal soul, we'd probably have an evolution reaction: natural born stand users.
I believe that the particles coming from Heaven, engaging with the soul that originated there, would trigger a violent reaction shaping the original soul into something more complex (and i would say dormant) that always belonged to the user. We'll learn with part 3 that not everyone has the spiritual strenght to bear this evolution, like when stands are induced later on. So are stand arrows involved too? The answer might surprise you.
Let's take a step back and move to the Poles, approximately 50k years ago, when a meteorite crash-landed on Earth around Cape York, Greenland and later on, in that same site, a misterious disease was found, leading to the creation of stand arrows 2to acquire the powers of Gods".
The fact everything happened at the poles is very relevant to this theory, especially a certain discovery. Let me introduce you to Neutrinos: a subatomic particle that is very similar to an electron, but has no electrical charge and a very small mass, it was almost believed they didn't have any at all. There are different types of neutrinos and they're the most abundant particles in the Universe, although very difficult to detect too. It is possible that a large fraction of the dark matter of the universe consists of primordial, Big Bang neutrinos.
The type that is relevant to us is high-energy cosmic neutrinos that are born in the CENTER of quasars, expulsed by jets and able to cross the Universe without interacting with matter and without any delays on their way. But at the Pole was found a particle that "shouldn't exist" shooting straight up out of the ice and seems to move straight back in direction of the quasar that originated it. Some scientists dared to call it "a ghost particle". Let's add this up to the evolution of the soul, the rules of Gravity and the guys that wanted to gain the power of a God: if the metallic material of the meteorite, infused with the ghost particle, were to come in contact with the organism where the souls resides... Did i already mention that they interact through Gravity?
Tumblr media
Lastly, this whole system would give us a reasonable explanation for certain stand abilities, like Vanilla Ice's and Okuyasu's (being possibly connected to a black hole's singularity point, allowing them to destroy the matter they absorb with no turning back) or others, seen afterwards, capable to move objects or people through different dimensions and/or parallel worlds. Lastly, i wanna spend two words regarding Dio's resolve and why i firmly believe that he regretted his actions. Dio's a person who tends to live a lot in the past and lets it influence his future. I don't think though that his search for Happiness was meant for the whole humanity, like Pucci tried to achieve. Dio's wish was more selfish and limited to himself, perhaps to his trustworthy friend too, but nothing more. He sacrificed himself for something once, that didn't lead him to happyness as he might have thought at the start of Phantom Blood, but is ready to give up on everything a second time with no hesitation. No feelings of grandiosity or power, he recognized his mistakes and wanted to restart everything once again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And maybe living a normal life for once. Who knows, maybe letting people be close to him without paranoid tendencies too... True, unfettered happines probably lies in the simplicity of conducting your life following your own decisions, and not Fate's. Or your abusive father's.
So this is Heaven. I know it's long, delirious at some traits and all, but i thought these corrispondences were neat and worth of being shared. So if you got till here and enjoyed it, thank you for your time!

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros - Theories, Spoilers and Headcannons
This post will serve as my way of making order in my own mind, in a way. I finished Fourth Wing three days ago and I feel like my mind is exploding. I have read lots of theories and I have my own to add to the list, so... maybe if I put them in one place and start a discussion with you all, we might find some answers - considering November does not seem to come any soon.
Before I forget -
This post will be like an analogy of theories, spoilers, headcannons. If you did not finish the book yet, I suggest scrolling over it. See you when you join our little club of desperate broken hearts post-reading.
And now... let`s begin.
1. Returning to Basgiath
Who will return to Basgiath is the most important question I have. You can read the synopsis for Iron Flame here.
From the synopsis for the second book, we know that Violet will return to the war college and I can think of a few reasons for her to return: she wants to keep her promise to Liam (ouch, my aching heart) to keep an eye on his younger sister (Sloane?), but at the same time I have the feeling that Violet will act as a spy for the rebellion throughout Iron Flame.
And it is not a bad idea. I mean, Violet did not raise any suspicions in the first book. Sure, her connection with Xaden was frowned upon, but most of the people in command (her mother, the king, Dain`s father and some teachers) saw her as a victim in the situation.
“Their dragons are mated,” Mom offers, her smile chilling. “So she’s grown quite close to him out of necessity.” “That’s excellent.” King Tauri beams. “It’s good to have a Sorrengail on lookout for us. You’ll let us know if he decides to, oh, I don’t know.” He laughs. “Start another war?” (Chapter 31)
Bonus - Violet is a Sorrengail. There are few others with better access to information and our little Violence has a talent to stumble over secrets.
The problem is... who will return with her?
I have seen people saying Xaden might remain behind in Aretia, considering the attack was a plan to kill him and the others. Perhaps a plan orchestrated by Violet`s mom - and because Violet was added to Xaden`s squad afterwards and considering Dain`s objections, it seems that her presence was not part of the initial plan. But can Xaden remain behind? I will highlight the main reasons I don`t think so:
The most obvious reason - Tairn and Sgaeyl. They can not be separated for a long period of time and Xaden cant just come by (even in secret) every few days without being noticed. From the synopsis, we know that Violet will be directly watched by that new vice commandant - he will not turn a blind eye to a certain blue dragon (from a rare breed) coming and going as she pleases.
I read a fanfic where Violet choses to leave Tairn behind and return with Andarna, which might be a possibility in theory - let me explain it briefly: this theory suggests that Violet will pretend Tairn died in the attack along with his mate and the other riders and dragons and her bond with Andarna saved her from a fate similar to Liam`s. It is a plausible lie, but... have we met Tairn? He is the ultimate protective dad figure, he would rather die than let Violet on her own where he can not be. He had a saddle and a baby carrier made for Violet and Andarna, so I doubt he will be okay with it. And before someone comes to suggest he can hide somewhere nearby - he is freaking huge, guys.
Another reason I think Violet will not come alone is the threat Dain poses. Sure, she will not let him get near her again, but it might be beyond her control. What if he is ordered to interrogate her by someone higher in the food chain? That is why I think Imogen must be returning with her, but I will get into a deeper discussion about Imogen later (I absolutely adore her). Her signet might be the only way to avoid Dain`s prying hands.
Besides, Xaden will die of longing and worry if Violet leaves without him.
What I think will happen?
They will all return. Or at least Xaden and Imogen will return with her. Xaden will be appointed to a position somewhere far away or somewhere he can be closely watched by someone the command trusts - maybe with Mira?
It might be a good occasion to gain Mira`s trust and get her to join the rebellion (let`s be honest, she will join it at some point).
OR!
Only Imogen will return with Violet. Considering her signet lets her wipe recent memories, she can facilitate meetings with Xaden and Sgaeyl.
However, I am fairly certain that Xaden will return. There would be no reason for the new vice commander to pressure Violet to spill out our shadow boy`s secrets if they would think him dead.
2. Professor Carr
The second matter on the list... I don`t know if anyone else noticed, but there is a paragraph in the book, during Violet`s training sessions with him, when he says something like this:
“And the fact that you bonded Tairn makes you and Riorson the most coveted pair of riders this kingdom has seen in far too long. If I could offer a piece of advice?” His eyes narrow. “Please do.” At least he’s brutally honest, so I know where I stand with him. “Keep your loyalties clear. You and Riorson both have exceptional, lethal power that any rider would be envious of. But together?” His bushy brows furrow. “You would be a formidable enemy who command could simply not afford to let exist. Do you understand what I’m saying?” His voice softens.
Why am I interested in this passage? Because it sounds like a warning and not the make-sure-you-are-loyal-to-Navarre sort of warning. I fail to see any kind of loyalty or admiration for the command on Carr`s part - the opposite, really. I would go so far as to say he might be in on the rebellion.
Why does he train Violet privately? Why not on school grounds? I have the feeling he knows that her ability might be the only weapon against wyverns and venins.
Am I crazy?
3. Imogen
By far the most interesting theory I have come across. Here is a link to a Reddit theory about it, which I absolutely agree with. If the person who wrote it comes across this post - I fucking love you, mate.
To sum it all up...
Imogen has the power to wipe memories and there are some moments that seem suspicious.
How does Violet know about Imogen`s signet? I doubt the pink haired raider would just tell her during training. And how come Violent doesn`t go into detail about it? Perhaps because Imogen wiped out this memory.
The author of this theory also goes into detail about how it is possible for Imogen to wipe out memories, but not knowledge, about how it is probably a secret few are in on. They also give a plausible explanation as to why Imogen seems to be absent during the Montserrat trip and as to why Xaden has a lighter backpack when they leave. Absolutely brilliant.
But I can`t help but notice... did Xaden come to Montserrat only for that weapon transport, thus lying about Sgaeyl not resisting to be far from Tairn for more than 3 days? Because this changes... a hell of a lot of things.
We can all agree that Imogen will have a central role in the next books - you can probably tell by now that I am excited.
Seriously, take a look at that post.
4. Brennan Sorregail
The piece of resistance!
He is alive and part of the rebellion. Okay, we all get that. But... how? And how much of what has been happening is he in on?
Did he correspond with Xaden? Did he know about Violet and made Xaden protect her? Shadow boy here was clearly in on the secret of Brennan being alive. I want answers, Yarros!
Is Brennan in a leading position in the rebellion?
Where will he stand on Violet returning to Basgiath?
I feel like he will be the wild card of the series. It will be like a bomb when he starts spilling all the information he has, I can tell. And I love it already.
I feel like Violet`s dad knew about it all - about the real reason behind the rebellion, about the wyverns and venins and about his son faking his death. I want to know more about the Sorrengail men, please and thank you.
Anyhow, this is all for today. I will probably continue to collect theories and post them separately. Please feel free to comment your own thoughts - I am open to discussions as long as we keep it civil, guys!
And as a side note - does anyone know a group chat or something for Fourth Wing? I desperately need people to talk to about this amazing book. Or role-playing groups? Message me if you are on the same boat.
Kisses!

I think they'd be friends
Tumblr media
For context: Metunn is the unique variant of Unown in the ROMhack Pokémon Blazing Emerald. You find it in the Ancient Alcove, along with a strange journal by a researcher who explores the cavern and finds Metunn. Unfortunately for that researcher, Metunn had been taking over his mind. The researcher sealed Metunn away in the Ancient Alcove so that no one would share his fate. (Didn't work, as we are able to capture it and use it on our team lmao)
(Also Metunn has a BST of 1000 but only knows the move Vol, which is Metronome on steroids.)
Pecharunt is the Gen 9 mythical for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If you're like me and know of/enjoy the Toxic Chain Kieran theory, you can see why I decided to draw these two together.
(SPOILERS FOR THE DLC AND MOCHI MAYHEM BELOW)
To summarize, Pecharunt/Dokutaro is the leader of the Loyal 3 and has been implied to be the one responsible for giving them their desires, but also the Loyal 3 are chained to their will. A lot of people, myself included, thought that Kieran would be controlled/influenced by Pecharunt, mirroring the Loyal 3's story. Which is VERY ironic considering that in Mochi Mayhem, literally everyone EXCEPT Kieran gets controlled.
Also both Metunn and Pecharunt are Poison and Ghost type so that's fun :)
I might make an AU where these two and their "friends" (Kieran and the researcher) meet or something. I dunno for sure though.
Lemme know what yall think

One Piece Chapter 1096 - Initial Thoughts
Tumblr media
And we are back
Had a feeling this one would come early though. The Kuma flashback is in swing and we are in a very historically point of intrigue
However it is also 8 weeks since we last saw Nico Robin and it'll likely end up being double digits at this rate
Still, let's not rush this flashback, let's see what it has to offer
Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release Also
The trend of monkeys on the cover is ended by Chihuahuas beating Zoro at musical chairs XD Still though top 3
We're back into hunger games as the Celestial Dragons explain how all the inhabitants are 'rabbits' all worth points; 1 hit kills get you a bonus but there are also 150 rare kills worth more, and 13 super rare worth 10,000 points, the same amount Garling was deducted
There's also prizes apparently, sickening stuff
Garling looked a bit like Zoro and Shanks there as he talks big game
Mannmeyer family woman might be interesting, face is obscured, same for gas mask dude
The last one looks kinda like that Whitebeard Commander too
Of course, the natives of God Valley are confused and panicked by the situation, and are offered no mercy by the dragons who simply tell them to give them a good chase
At the Navy, Garp is being called for support, but he's not biting
Rare appearance from Fleet Admiral Kong too
Young Garp is lapping it up by the pool, but he thinks he's being called because of what the Navy did to the Rocks pirates
Seems they stole something, a 'crown jewel' they say
Ironic though that Garp is all 'you can't shake the hive' and then over 30 years later showing up to shake the hive
Seems like the intel was supposed to be kept on the down low though
Garp won't protect the Dragons from Rocks, but he's leapt out of his deck chair for Roger
So much Luffy energy when he's relaxing too, though I guess God Valley was when he started getting more serious
The Rocks pirates are already on the move too, having left Fullalead without the rest of their inhabitants
Ivankov narrates something more true than they realise, this will be a big moment made forgotten history
10,000 civilians hunted for sport, and Oda's not holding back despite current events
Urgh and the slaves all have target marks on their back
Ivankov has to drill home that nobody is going to survive, the idea that they'll be let go if they survive 3 weeks is just a way to satisfy the dragons
Garling has been chasing the bigger prizes and has thus broke even already
All in front of an audience in Marejois via Den Den Mushi too
Ivankov's chains are bitten off by a Shark Fishman, who Ivankov praises, I wonder if that was Arlong and Shyarly's father?
Ginny (they're sticking with the G) is a bit of a thief and an wiretapper it seems, leaking information to the world 2 weeks prior to create chaos while they escape
The plan requires the prizes; Devil Fruits, the Paw-Paw Fruit and the Fish Fish Fruit: Model Azure Dragon, which are at the center of the island
She makes a point in saying that Kaido's is classed among the strongest of Devil Fruits, and that the Paw-Paw Fruit is a secondary plan because it can blast things away
Kuma also volunteers to be a decoy, his strength and bulkiness being cited as increasing his chances to survive
His resolve does impress Ivankov and Ginny too
Rocks are heeeeeere!
Alas we don't see Rocks D. Xebec, but we do see all the youthful members of the crew
Whitebeard reprimands Rocks for running ahead, with Buckingham Stussy hanging off his shoulder
Seemed Stussy had competition from a Kuja, so the big surprise here: Elder Nyon (Gloriosa) was a Rocks Pirate member, not Shakky like the theories
Canon Manga Debut for Shiki as well, as Big Mom and Kaido argue with the group, also Captain John is there drinking much like he did as a Zombie
No sign of who Ochoku was though, could be the guy to Whitebeard's left (our right)
Seems Rocks wasn't here for the Celestial Dragons though, the pirates were looking for something, and they're all gonna fight even each other to get it
Ochoku could also be the 2 people underneath Gloriosa in the 3 way panel, helmet dude or the very shaded hat man
But from the other side: the Roger Pirates!
Tacheless Roger with the Straw Hat, and prime Rayleigh and Gaban, but there's also a big dude, a Viking Dude and someone in a snug coat
God look how much Roger looks like Ace, and he's been itching for a fight all year
We see a couple more God's Knights too, there's a woman and a tall dude? I dunno every time I look it looks like he's beheaded, he doesn't have the armour, but we have the woman
The chaos has earned a reprieve for the inhabitants, the farmers look a tiny bit like the Milk girl Moda from Lulusia
The younger marines don't like their chances
Until Garp arrives!
Gotta have a good reputation if Garp reassures you against Rocks AND Roger
Bogard my man is still there, the others I don't recognize though
Even more carnage leads to Kuma and Ivankov getting the fruits they want
But alas, Child Abuse, Big Mom getting that in early to knock away Ivankov and get the Fish Fruit which she will use on Kaido
Through Ivankov's encouragement, Kuma eats the fruit before Linlin can get to him
But as Ivankov rallies that saving at least 1 person will be a victory, more child abuse! This time Saturn comes to deck Kuma
Man headshots marines, Bonney and Sanji but he went for ol' fashioned fisticuffs with Kuma
There has been a lot of touching tha child here, DON'T TOUCHA THA CHILD!
"I don't understand how someone can be born to be more or less important" god what a line that is
Stood before Saturn, Kuma notes that now that he has power, he's gonna save as many as he can, just like Nika
And Saturn doesn't like that, seems that the idolization of Nika is what led to the genocide of the Buccaneers
ACOC lightning hums around God Valley as Roger and Rocks fight, it seems Rocks was trying to get to something while Roger was trying to interact
But Oda, brilliant but awful as he is, decides that's it, no more God Valley content...
Sir we needed more, we didn't even see Rocks, or why Kaido needed the fruit to survive, or Ochoku, or why it's made out that Garp and Roger were teaming up to protect the Celestial Dragons because clearly they were not
But alas, back at the Sorbet kingdom we have the aftermath
Ivankov laments that Morgans only lapped up Garp's heroics, and that he's a WG kissass
Kuma however is praying in a church, lamenting that he could've saved more
Turns out he saved 500 people though, which is a lot given how many big names were there, and that last we saw he was staring down a Gorosei
Ginny has now nicknamed Kuma the chapter's title, Kumachi, which could be written the same way as Perona's bear Kumacy not entirely sure
But Ivankov adds praise to Kuma's efforts, calling his paws the Hands of Liberation
Ivankov doesn't stick around though, heading off to sea to enjoy their freedom
"I'll never forget your face for as long as I live" oof right in the Marineford
Ginny however opts to stay in Sorbet living in a church with Kuma
Make no mistake though, Ginny's the boss, despite being a third his size she has the age factor
Chopping wood like the SBS artwork of young Kuma as they seek to feed themselves on hard work
Ginny also beats up bullies that throw stones at Kuma thinking he's lying about being 9
But Kuma as a gentle soul uses his fruit to remove the pain
Ginny is a glutton, much like her potential children/clone maybe? As Kuma offers her more of his food
They've both spent at least 5 years as a slave (since both became slaves at 4, and Kuma is 9 while Ginny is somehow 13)
But the sensation of finally feeling full makes Ginny tear up with joy, which of course makes Kuma cry too
So sweet, it's all gonna go to shit ain't it?
Well it was definitely an inviting chapter
Though I am a bit sore that we got blueballed a lot with God Valley, so many questions still left unanswered as Oda teases us. The Devil Fruits as prizes make sense though, wonder if there were more, Rocks was after something after all. Wonder if the Ope Ope no Mi was considered a prize? I doubt the Gomu Gomu no Mi was a prize though think the Gorosei would've wanted that under lock and key, maybe Doffy's fruit? or the Yami Yami no Mi? or Marco's fruit? or that Egg on Roger's Ship during the Oden flashback? Did Garling throw his son up as a prize? Answers Oda you're supposed to give Answers! We got a lot of teases though; God's Knights, other Rocks crewmates, Stussy potentially indeed being a thing with Whitebeard but atm it seems more like she was dangling off him (she was listed as a 'freeloader' in MADS, wonder if clone Stussy will have a larger role too in present because she did get sidelined quickly), also seems like Gloriosa was interested was Whitebeard the man she had love sickness for? Also got potential ancestors who were God Valley slaves. Kuma saving 500 is still super impressive too, how did he get away from Saturn? How many generations of that 500 still exist today?
But we do seem to have the blooming of Kuma and maybe a relationship with him and Ginny. It's unclear but I think the Luffy's mom bit is even lower a possibility now, still thinking that Bonney is a clone of Ginny though, wouldn't mind if she was a biological daughter it'd just make the wording of Kuma being the last Buccaneer a bit weird.
It does further fuel the idea that Kuma is gonna show up in Egghead too, but the flashback only further fuels the layer of tragedy that has befell Kuma, man has suffered so much and he continues to lose so much, this flashback has the capacity to break us.
At the least there's no break, but the wait will be long and painful regardless.

Chain of Gold, Ch. 3 - Cordelia taking care of James while he has a fever and brings him back from the shadow realm. Don't forget that when James travelled to the shadow realm where Belial was, Cordelia was his anchor and was able to bring him back to the surface. Perhaps it was their love for each other, even if they didn't know about their feelings for each other, that helped them stay strong against their enemies.
Chain of Thorns, Ch. 1 - Jesse taking care of Lucie while she's unconscious after bringing him back. Supposedly takes Lucie back from whenever she is? The chapter is titled "Twilight", so I'm assuming Lucie is in a void where lost souls are... between the living and the dead. She fell there when she tried to bring Jesse back in Chain of Iron Ch. 13. In this occasion, it was Lucie who brought Jesse back from the world of shadows (ghosts) he had been for seven years. Maybe, Jesse's love will be able to bring Lucie back?

Am I Miraculous?
Aug 23, 2023
Major character death, death/murder implied, implied abuse, angst, implied character death, hurt no comfort kinda. HUGE SPOILERS FOR MERLIN (2008) and it is a theory that Adrien is a centimonster. I am NOT up-to-date with the show. Ambiguous ending (hopeful).
You see, even tailors make mistakes. Their measurements the first times being an estimate based upon perception. They continuously sweep through their reference- again and again if needed. But Adrien was not a mannequin and she never would have that same reference to look at no matter how many times she tried to stitch him back together again. It was simply impossible-too late for her to try and cultivate the same soul back into this universe and the sacrifice too large for the weight to be upheld.
Her view of Cat Noir? Was not him himself and never would be. And he would never be himself to her again.
So, as she was honored with the role of the guardian of the miraculous and stepped up to instill peace once again, no matter the void so little knew of-the grief that consumed her every waking moment-she wouldn’t leave the vows she left behind; break her promise to her partner and the one she loved all those years.
“I hope he lives a peaceful life in his next, wherever he may be.” She sadly smiled, resting flowers on a memorial to him.
Her parents were concerned at her “sudden” change.. what could have prompted such grief? They knew they could never understand it-fathom what their daughter was going through or fix it- protect her no matter how much they wished. But, they didn’t need to understand to support her; to listen if she ever decided to make that step, and even if not; would continue to be present there for her.. to remind her of how she’ll never be alone.
Adrien’s second life was most ironic in that he was yet again conceived by means unnatural and like his past life, lost his mother. This time, never knowing the woman that brought him into this new world. For a time, he was hated by his father. Witnessed a grief-stricken man who abused his power to the point of deaths and torturous means. It’s not like they knew he understood his own doom. But, he had cultivated survival mechanisms in his past life that he knew would allow him freedoms more than if he were to be without them. Nothing was ever free- especially in a household- *his kingdom* where if he wanted to have independence and autonomy, to be an individual, he had to “earn it.”
He fell into escapism via reading books about the new world. He’d secretly rummaged through the court healer’s books and found a hidden book on magic. Magic. He couldn’t believe his eyes. How come he’d never witnessed such a wondrous thing?
The answer was made clear in his father’s cruel rule.. the way he wiped out sorcerers in a genocide of his own rage. Adrien despised him. Despised the man who called himself his father. A man who left servants to tend to him and had extremely high (for a child his age) expectations of a young child. He couldn’t help but think that the only reason the man desired a child was not for love, but *an heir*. He hated the way he sought his new father’s praise over time, got recognized for even when he lowered his skills to seem inconspicuous. He never did know.. a “normal” standard considering his young upbringing in his other life.
One day, there came a day he first held a sword. He couldn’t help but recall his days of sport.. and relish in the feel of it. Although the sore muscles certainly strained and the weapon was very different in weight and purpose.. it was familiar and that was all it took for him to love it… until the day he was expected to kill a man. Or rather a being. How could he escape? How could he do something so terrible? He may have known how to destroy things, but he wouldn’t ever wish a cataclysmic chain upon another from him.
Uther stood behind him and just as his father once called, “no,” the strings of fate pushed him into a cruel act. He had no choice. No choice. He knew Uther wouldn’t be merciful. And yet.. he waited a moment. Spoke that he needed the restroom and wandered astray, pulling as he placed his hands in the stream of a river. He could never wash away the red stains.. even today he saw them, although they remained invisible to all else. He swore that one day he’d be king. That he’d never lose sight of his morality.. but as time went on his sanity lost it’s grip bit by bit and he feared the worst if change did not come soon.
Change came one day in the form of a scrawny, but tall kid about his age. He was younger than him it seemed, but by this time, Arthur was a young adult. Never a man, but still him. He’d grown into keeping some of his same traits.. letting out the part of himself that teased and joked. Gave himself the freedom to be bratty at times, whilst attempting to show kindness even when he needed to act as he’d been taught. He immediately saw something in the young man.. it took a long time to see it, but, he was enraptured by him. Merlin was his name. And although he could be a blundering idiot, who was be to judge? Merlin didn’t have a whole other lifetime of memories to to keep him afloat, not to mention the state of technology and level of possible education outside of Author’s royal life.
He put upon the man the “honor” of being his manservant.. he liked the freedom of finally having someone who treated him *normally.* Not afraid to speak their mind or criticize or hide ulterior motives.. Merlin was so genuine in that he showed. He didn’t care for status so much as he was forced to and Arthur had to admit, even if Merlin didn’t do well with his job, he was still someone he could see becoming quite the good friend.. a cherished one.
He escorted him on journeys- escapades he had quickly learned to bend to. ‘It’s just the way this society is.’ He’d try to tell himself as he’d cry over those red red and so wrongfully young bloody hands, but he lost the will or ability to express himself long ago. Even in his past life, more so now.
Merlin brought it back to him.. a part of him that he missed.. companionship. A comrade. A partner.. *friend*. God, a fucking friend for once in his god damn life.
When Arthur saw Merlins eyes glow yellow and observed the way he called up his magic to save him.. he kept his mouth quiet. He silently marveled at his skill. He was in awe of his power and touched at Merlin’s abilities. How could he be so dedicated to someone without anything in return? ‘He once knew what that was like. What it was like to be so dedicated to someone he’d give up anything for them, even the world itself.’
When the time came Merlin finally told him, years and years of trust and bonds. Complicated relations and situations passed.. He finally uttered what he’d wished to thousands of times before.
“Oh Merlin, I knew, you prat.” Merlin was taken aback, thinking he’d be stabbed through the heart, yelled at, anything but accepted.. nor even thinking that to be a possible answer.
“I.. what? Sorry, I must of misheard you.”
Arthur placed his hand on the other’s shoulder.
“You are far more than you’d ever think, Merlin. And make me awestruck at how such a dedicated and loyal man asks for nothing in return. The least I can do is say.. thank you. You are a dear friend. I feel I can be myself around you, not be held back by status or class when we speak.. and I always knew you were someone destined to be special.”
If only fate allowed his life to be more than a short miracle. One where the flame slowly was doused. And yet, one day the coin would be flipped once again. Merlin hjust needed to hold on to it until that time came.

OHG BOY!!! Warning for spoilers
Denji's, ironically, the one I've thought about godtiering the least! Which is pretty funny bc hes def my favorite character by now, but boy, he's a little difficult. When I begin to godtier, I look at key themes and aesthetics of a character. Denji has quite a lot! Here are the themes I deem important about Denji.
Relationships, friendships, control, money, connection, obedience, obsession, loneliness, growth, empathy, manipulation, intelligence, and violence.
So theres a few I'm already leaning towards. Blood, space, doom, and life. On the inverse, I always keep my eyes open for inverse classes, just in case the character may be a destructive class, and rhat can be very likely for Denji due to his role in the manga.
While I think Denji adopting Nayuta definetly adds to the space theory, Denji for the most part foes not have any maternal or creative outlets, he’s not creative nor a creator. for that i really really doubt he’s a space player since you need to be something along those lines. I also think that Doom isn’t likely, because while Denji does have a lot of focus on empathy and what that means to someone, or others around him, and a lot of discussion about what makes a good person, I don’t think that’s so much of a Denji trait as it is an important theme of chainsaw man as a whole. Godtiers, unless you are going for a John Egbert approach (Johns built around his classpect, not the other way around, since he’s the protagonist of homestuck) it’s better to focus on characters INDIVIDUAL themes.
That leaves Blood, and Life. Extremely different aspects! But, honestly? I think the answers pretty easy. Life is all about control, influence, growth, change. But, honestly, that sounds like someone else right? Makima? Denji only has those themes in his life and character due to Makima and his direct response to control. Blood on the other hand? Well. That’s exactly what bloods about.
Blood is about relationships, emotional ties, sentimentality, LITERAL blood (Denji’s anemia), sacrifice, obligation, responsibility. Blood is the chain that keeps us all linked to each other, blood keeps us moving as a unit, blood is the oil that greases the gears. And that sounds A LOT like Denji, Makima’s puppy. Denji’s entire thing is relationships, his obsession with Makima, his attachment to Pochita, his whole LEARNING FRIENDSHIP thing with Power! The way that Makima cemented his loyalty to her, breaking him, was by killing his best friend, breaking his ties. His father. His repression. His obedience. It’s all very him.
Now onto classes
Classes are much easier! Once you have your aspect decided, you can essentially just figure it out from there. Denji’s entire arc is about growth, from nothing to something. But something else that’s important is that Denji does not get relationships, by the end. Power, Aki, Angel, Makima, and Matsuba are all dead by the end. In SBURB terms, Denji is a failed Prince of Blood. That, in my mind, cancels out the idea of him being a destructive class. Denji never sought out to break, change, manipulate, or control any of his relationships. In fact, he mostly controlled himself in hopes relationships would grow. You can see it with how he interacts with people, his default face is twisted up in confusion, he watches people, how they react to him and his responses and works around them to give them what the want. He does this CONSTANTLY. All of his relationships are ended by others, typically by Makima herself.
He is constantly throwing shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks, he’s going into relationships completely blind, playing by ear. It’s all trial and error for him, and while he has a solid identity and personality, he knows who he is and what he likes, he KNOWS he likes people and being around them, and he has NO IDEA how to make that happen.
Can you see where I’m going with this?
Official Diagnosis:
DENJI CHAINSAW MAN IS A PAGE OF BLOOD!
