hi! u probably already know the effect in the chairlift video is called datamoshing. afaik the easiest way to achieve the effect in ae is thru the use of a paid plugin :/ plus it never looks as good imo. however! the guy who moshed the evident utensil video also made a tutorial that explains exactly how he did it using some free macOS programs (avidemux and ffmpegx). ive used them myself and it's kind of a long janky laborious process but the end result is so much more satisfying than ae or premiere shortcuts. the tutorial is on a youtube channel called "datamosher." happy moshing!
