Somewhere along the way, he had lost it though- the power of Ares, his favorite, all scorn and blood. Because even through the bloodshed, Ares was celebrated, worshipped. Someone so bloody, cruel could have temples built in their name, Neil loved it. But he wasn’t that boy anymore, obsessed with the gods and their problems, because now he had his own problems. And boy did he have a lot of them.

He's never been good with clubs or societies, with things that require you to formally spend time with others. Sucking the marrow out of life sounds like the sort of thing they've been doing already, even if Mr. Keating is probably referring to something more dramatic (better) than what they've been doing in class. But words dripped from our tongues like honey sounds kind of intimidating, and Gods were created sounds like the kind of thing Todd ought to just avoid entirely.

ok first of all. anderperry my beloved. but im notorious 4 being a multishipper and after thinking abt this rarepair that crossed my mind as a joke for like half an hour ive decided i want to share it with u all here. maybe one (1) other person will appreciate it idk

Listen hear me out ok listen ok here;

it follows the events of canon and my broad post canon hcs a bit; sometime in early 1960 when its second semester of their junior(senior??) year, todd and cameron are made roommates. (if its junior year they are all of senior too). they kinda slowly become friends, and sometimes they'll start to chat abt really serious/personal stuff in the middle of the night (as u do). todd talks abt neil and they both come out to each other. (may or may not feature chameron. u decide). there is No romantic tension in high school in fact i dont imagine todd would date around much if at all through at least the first couple years of college; but then maybe he meets someone (keeping it vague bc ive decided in this world hes bisexual bc i make the rules) and realizes smth about how he doesnt want to never give love a chance again and so. yeah. him and that person go out a while but eventually go their separate ways idk at some point him and cameron are both done w/ college and move in together bc its convenient for whatever reason (plus they already know they work well as roommates<3). after a while they realize not only do they like this type of domesticity, but they like it with each other specifically. so. they r in love now. its nothing like w/ neil in a lot of ways, for better and for worse. (but mostly for better, bc instead of so so much so many emotions and self discovery, not only in falling in love but also in general at 17ish all happening in four months then coming to an abrupt and tragic end, they've had years to get to know each other, and just. you know. figure themselves and life and everything out!) :-)

Closing note ! as i worked on this post i realized it could totally be left as platonic. any way u wanna take it just kno that a todd & cameron relationship is a very important concept 2 me. i care them. fall in love w/ ur best friend ! build a life with them ! do it
