{➹} – THERE WAS NO ESCAPING them. Patrols were everywhere; in every zone, every city and every village. Their technology was advanced. Consisting of anywhere from three to five of the best of Robotnik's new machines, and a Zone Leader who was devoted to the madman and only the madman, the patrols were hard to avoid.

But not impossible.

One cloaked figure was proving that as they slunk through what remained of Great Turquoise. The once lust paradise had been reduced to a blackened wasteland with scarce little remaining upright. The waters no longer ran clear and the plantlife had been obliterated years ago. Yet the rubble and destruction gave ample places to hide as the figure advanced further along the zone. Slung along their back was a beaten but still functional pack, and it looked heavy.

They were nearing the edge of the village, if one could even still call it that, when they heard something behind them and ducked behind a fallen building. Out of sight of the robots, but not whoever was concealed in the rubble.

The cloaked figure growled, fists raised as they glared at the spot beneath their hood. Robots didn't hide, and they knew that. And they weren't going to be caught unaware. "Come out or else."

he's only one to show how he's really feeling around either amy or tails, or one on one with knuckles and sticks in some cases. for some reason, in the group, he refuses to show an excess of emotions until he's just plain angry. part of him still finds them to be a weakness.

she believes more in expressing oneself in the moment and is never afraid to show it. she tries to be the calm one in most situations but, her temper is a little reknown, and she tries not to openly cry in front of the others unless a moment calls for it.

ironically, their roles in this respect have almost been reversed after the event. amy's the one hiding and sonic's the one expressing concern.

❀;; -- Yumi readied her stance, studying her opponent. Really there was no reason. Ulrich was just as predictable as Yumi herself anymore. They took a few moments to stare one another down, watching for the briefest flicker of a muscle, a slight shift of weight, something, anything to give the other any idea of what the next move was going to be.

So when Ulrich suddenly launched himself at her, it seemed like it was coming from out of nowhere. Yumi hadn't noticed a single muscle twitch or even a slight motion of his head. She had barely no time to react to him before she felt his arms encircle her shoulders, attempting to flip her over him and onto the ground.

Ulrich knew that Yumi's strength was acrobatics - moves that she needed to be on her feet for. That didn't mean Yumi couldn't engage in more ground combat, in fact to most anyone else she could kick ass. Ulrich was better though and they both knew it, even if they never wanted to admit it.

Somehow she managed to avoid being completely grabbed by the shoulders, Yumi managed to twist one of her shoulders away. Perhaps the unexpected nature of fighting XANA and his monsters gave her that quick reaction. Whatever the case, one of his hands landed on her shoulders.

Why she suddenly lost her balance, Yumi was not sure. It was rare that it would happened, unless she tripped over something. That didn't appear to be the case.

Ulrich apparently had also not been anticipating it as he stumbled with her.

Instead of falling flat on her ass, she bumped into the wall behind her. Her sparring partner barely had time to catch himself before he completely smashed into her. Still that made for an incredibly awkward moment.

Immediately she felt the heat rising to her cheeks, a flush that she wished would go away just got worse.

"Um...I uh...are you ok?"

She mentally cursed herself that even after all this time, he could still easily cause this reaction in her.

'I'm psychic.' A joke, though maybe not completely. Kimiko just pays attention, and she can anticipate. Kimiko and Raimundo have been friends for a long time. So long, in fact, that she forgets when they first met sometimes. It just feels like something that she's always been used to and accustomed to, his support and continued presence in her life. She hopes that it stays that way. The thought of her losing Raimundo and any of the other dragons is unthinkable and makes her heart sink to her chest every single time she so much as ponders that idea or reality.

Right now, she's just thankful they're here, and that they're together. 'You look like you needed a blanket.' So she handed him the one in her bag. She doesn't blame him for needing one, by any means. Winter's chill is deep and all-encompassing, even for her. She can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for someone with her magical abilities. For good measure, she also takes out her thermos of hot tea. This is a common occurrence for her when they're traveling to dark or cold places to find Shen Gong Wu. Pouring it into the plastic cup substitute, she hands it to Raimundo to drink from. 'Take small sips of that, okay? Let me know if you need anything else.'

-------- I would have to say. It was more than likely the time of when he met Eclipse. His deep hatred for the BLACK ARMS was always so strong after he learned Doom had a hand in warping Gerald's mind.

It was through Eclipse that he begun to understand. Not all flowers grow in the same bind.

And it wasn't even anything Eclipse SAID. But rather SHOWN. Seeing the Black Arms desire death , but then Eclipse was over here. Smiling at a small dog on the street. Giving it a piece of a hamburger.

Yes , Eclipse once wanted him dead. But that was only because of what BLACK DOOM told him.
