"I spoke with Abby and got the okay." Nicky says coming and sitting himself down next to Aaron at the cafeteria table.
"Nicky, you're going to have to be more specific about what you're talking about." Aaron says poking at the peas on his plate.
"Those won't get eaten unless you actually put then in your mouth." Kevin points out to Aaron who flips him the bird in response.
"My mom and dad are going to come to the team dinner." Nicky answers with a bright smile.
"Uncle Luther and Auntie Maria?" Aaron asks in surprise.
"No his other parents." Andrew rolls his eyes mixing his mashed potatoes and his corn.

The winners of the second annual BFI and CHANEL Filmmaker Awards were announced (Thursday), celebrating the creative audacity of three emerging UK filmmakers:
writer/director Ella Glendinning (director and cast of Is There Anybody Out There?)
writer/director/producer Savanah Leaf (writer/director of Earth Mama)
producer Nadira Murray (Winners)
Since 2022, CHANEL has partnered with the BFI and together they have created the Filmmaker Awards. The awards build on the House’s century of cultural patronage to inspire creativity, advance the new and the next, activate history to define the future, and supports the BFI’s mission to back the next generation of UK independent filmmaking talent.
These awards celebrate creative audacity and provide winning filmmakers with financial support of £20,000 each, allowing them to expand their practice and explore new ideas, cultivate co-creation and knowledge exchange, and widen the representation of voices in today’s cultural community.
The winners of the 2023 awards were selected by this year’s jury: Tilda Swinton, Academy Award winner, BFI Fellow and Global CHANEL Ambassador, Edward Enninful OBE, Editor-in-Chief, British Vogue and European Editorial Director, Vogue; Marie-Louise Khondji, producer and founder of Le Cinéma Club and Ben Roberts, BFI Chief Executive.

R U NEXT **R U RIGGED**
okay so the finale lineup is..interesting..Jiwoo isnt in it so its a immediate no, but what's so annoying are the people HATING on Wonhee ''she doesnt deserve to debut'' ''shes talentless'' ''flop'' and all that other bullshit, the ppl saying that are people that never actually watched the show and only watched random clips on tiktok. Wonhee is talented for her age and improved allot during the show. And before the favorism was showing up EVERYONE was praising her vocals, if you gon talk ab facial expressions then where was the same reaction for Ruka (still lowk mad ab her being eliminated but oh well) And what annoys me the most is that these ppl saying those rude ass stuff are also the people that comment that ''minors shouldnt debut cs of the hateful community'' like YOU are the hateful community, YOU make it a hateful community putting the blame on her for something YOU should blame the JUDGES on (whom i got beef with) Same with Ena, girl is 12 and got hated on on tiktok (literally one of the best vocalists in the show but okayy...)OBV to young too debut but you know what my point is. And then the same ppl that hated on a 12 year old CHILD be saying its a hateful community..bitch you the hateful community itself, if you jealous js say so...

i am:
disappointed upset disgusted robbed dismayed angry furious irritated
because JIHYUN and CHANELLE were eliminated from R U NEXT. Like, bffr rn. Chanelle is a rapper, singer, and dancer, a literal ALL ROUNDER. she was one of the most stable for most of the performances and they decided to ELIMINATE HER. LIKE WFTFTTFTF???? and jihyun is an amazing dancer with great stage presence and improving vocals. how were these two eliminated before wonhee? no hate - just saying that those two have way more potential than wonhee. R U NEXT's bias towards her is so obvious and i will be EXTREMELY disappointed in hybe if she debuts instead of jiwoo, minju, jeemin, yunah, youngseo, and moka. dont get me wrong, i love himena and iroha and jeongeun, but i think the six i just said rn is the lineup with most potential for debut.
ugh this is why i should stop watching survival shows 😭 i get way too emotionally attached to it even tho its rigged af. fuck you hybe + jtbc
