D-Day (06/08/23) with special guest Kim Namjoon

I have been travelling all day with crappy internet in the airport and now at the hotel. So I have a vague idea what happened at the concert today but this post is my way of catching up and enjoying what now to everyone else is very old news.

An emotional day for Yoongi, one of the first photos I saw on my timeline was this..

...followed by this one. How did you survive that?

Guesting today Mr Kim Namjoon! J-Hope (more of that later) put this epic photo on Instagram. It says it all right! The first two members of BTS, together since 2010 sharing another legendary stage.

So good to see Namjoon's smiling face again, reassuring us yet again that he isn't enlisting anytime soon but also saying this is probably the last time he'll be on a stage before enlistment.

They performed Strange together and then RM sang a new, as yet untitled song which he said meant a lot to him lately. Full RM performance here.

It was in fact a whole hyung line reunion. We caught Jin and Hobi in the crowd earlier on and then again on Hobi's Instagram.

So good to see them all together and all looking so healthy and happy. D-Day Tour is now really over.

The South Korean airline industry is witnessing a remarkable transformation. Air Premia

Amidst this trend, an ambitious newcomer, Air Premia, has entered the arena. That's the bold ambition of Changhyun Geum, head of Air Premia's passenger business. “Jung Hoseok.” He introduced himself with a tight smile, and the familiarity of the name made you internally curse as he shook hands with your coworker. His name was on all of the pain meds in Jungkook’s medicine cabinet. You had only seen it from the times you had to seriously patch him up, and now you regretted committing the name to memory.

“Kang Changhyun, I’m a teacher here.” He smiled.

Hoseok nodded, “I’m y/n’s… friend.” He said the title in a way that made Changhyun bristle and you scrunch your brows, “I was coming to pick her up for lunch, but–”

“I told you I had planned to eat lunch with a coworker.” Changhyun flinched at the title, which Hoseok noticed when you failed to, “Did you get the day wrong?” The lie was awkward and stiff, but it matched the vibe just fine. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that you had little to no undercover training, and it was kind of endearing to the pharmacist to watch you flounder around for a lie. If you were putting up an act in doing that, he was beyond impressed. However, your eyes were too sincere to even consider that a viable possibility. You utterly fascinated him in all of the ways you should’ve bored him to tears.

He laughed, giving you a moment to study him in his casual streetwear and beanie. His smile was surprisingly genuine as he regarded you, which was a welcome contrast to the other bosses you had encountered. Neither Namjoon nor Yoongi were all that horrible to you, but you couldn’t really place how much they disliked you. However, Hoseok was either a great actor or just genuinely kind toward you as he playfully smacked his forehead, “Ah, it’s Tuesday, isn’t it?” You nodded, swallowing hard, feeling like you were at that improv class Jungkook dragged you to years ago all over again, “I thought it was Wednesday.” He chuckled, shaking his head.

Changhyun laughed along with him before a subtle glare silenced hime. You looked between the two, perplexed, “Uh-huh…” You trailed off, unsure what the hell to say at this point.

Hoseok could’ve taken this lull as the opportunity to take his leave, but something about the way that teacher studied you made his skin crawl. Either you were extremely shy about your affections or you had no idea this guy was into you, “I almost thought I interrupted a date.” He said, looking at Changhyun before laughing.

You balked at this, giving him his answer. You were clueless, and why wouldn’t you be? The other guys, including him, didn’t want to believe him when Jungkook said it, but you were woefully inexperienced in the modern world, “A date?!” You’d gone on a few dates before in college, but nothing beyond that.
