New month, new life goal, new icon, new URL! But not a new me so sorry not sorry to disappoint lololol.

Well, it’s not exactly a new life goal, but it’s certainly a renewed sentiment. Nothing else will change much about my blog content — I’m still going to bombard you with fanfic, bellarke, Jason insults, random sass, etc. You’ll likely start to see some other fandoms slip into the mix (Queen of the South, Chicago PD, etc), too. 

My AO3 isn’t changing. It will remain changingthefairy_tale!

What's your absolute favorite scene from The 100 so far, all seasons included?

Okay I am cheating and I’m going to go by season because that is just TOO MANY SCENES!!!

Season 1: I will agree with you and say the “Brave princess” exchange, but then a runner-up for me is the scene between Murphy and Bellamy when Murphy comes back for revenge for hanging him. It’s just gripping and even though it’s stressful I can’t look away.

Season 2: I love all the scenes with Murphy and Jaha in the desert. Murphy’s sass really shines in s2, especially in his Jaha interactions. But I will pick specifically when they meet Emori in the desert (this should surprise no one lmao). I just loved that it showed Murphy in a slightly less antagonistic light, and it was very on brand for him to be charmed by a con artist, tbh.

Season 3: The hug that Bellamy and Clarke share before going to meet Luna! It is my favorite Bellarke hug and that scene is such a soft moment between the two of them.

Season 4: Gimme Shelter (4x07) is my favorite episode because Emori and Bellamy are my faves and it is a great ep for both of them! But my favorite scene might be when Emori admits to Murphy that the man they just put in the radiation chamber was not in fact Baylis but a stranger and Murphy looks at her and goes, “Now that’s a survivor’s move.” 

Season 5: I do not remember much of season 5, but all my favorite moments involve Murphy. I love how chaotic it is when he throws that rock into the crowd of Eligius prisoners citing that he always has to do everything himself, which gives off the same energy of him in this week’s episode haha.

Season 6: I thought I was gonna say the Memori proposal? But my fave scene is in 6x10 when Clarke and Josephine are looking through Josephine’s memories and they stumble into that one of Josephine and Gabriel dancing and Gabriel says “We can’t do this forever” and then she says, “But why not? That’s how long I’ll love you for?” That made me cry on my rewatch it was very soft.

Season 7: Murphy has been the delight of season 7 for me so far! I was always a little bit of a Murphy stan, but it’s popped out for real now, which I’m sure is quite obvious to everyone who follows me. I think my favorite scene so far is the scene between Murphy and Hatch in 7x03!

this can change depending on my mood, but I’m gonna go with three because I’m a cheater: Lost in the Supermarket by The Clash, Life on Mars? by David Bowie, and I Wanna Be Sedated by Ramones. these three...there’s something different about each one and why it matters and what kind of person I was/place I was in when I began to love them them. the memories connected to them are just as important as the feelings they evoke. there’s just something about these ones that I don’t get with almost any others. they are all very different but speak to the different parts of myself, which honestly, I usually don’t think go to together all that well.

Hi love! I know you're editing rn, but when you're finished: How long have you been fic writing, and what's your favorite thing about it??

Hello! The editing is finished and thanks for the ask! 

I have been writing fic since the summer of 2014! I was about to start college and didn’t have any original character ideas, so decided to try some stories out with the next-gen HP kids. I’ve been writing fic for a few fandoms on and off since then, but I’ve written and published the most for t100 fandom.

My favorite thing about fic writing is that I can be super indulgent about feelings. I mainly do screenwriting and playwriting, and since those are visual mediums, it’s harder to just have moments where characters are just sitting and talking without it feeling boring. I enjoy not having to worry about those moments. Also the validation is more instant lol.

Honestly, even new viewers are going to end up dying off quickly. I was too young for the OG VM (I was 10 when it aired), but I consumed it like crazy this past year. I ADORE Logan. His character, his wit, his overall story, his relationship with other cast members. And as much as I adore Kristen Bell, I can’t watch that show without Logan in it. They made him too important of a character.

And it’s one thing to kill off a fan fav on large shows with HUGE casts and multiple fan favs (Game of Thrones, Greys, etc), or killing them off out of necessity (the actor leaving, etc). But VM is a show with only 5 central characters (V, L, Wallace, Keith, Weevil). You can’t go and kill the fan favorite of a cast that small; it wrecks the entire show.

Also, apparently (from what I have read) Wallace and Weevil would have played even less of a role in the future? This truly feels like one giant joke that simply won’t end. lmao

At this point I would not be shocked if they would shove Veronica to Piz again and I mean we all know how much that worked and was loved in season 3. Or with Duncan.

Imagine being this dumb to not realize that LoVe gave you 2 more seasons before they cancelled it since you fucked it up for good, got you that movie, hell even got you now back with a season 4 and you are so delusional to not see that and slap your whole fandom right in the face.

Happy finale night, fam!

We've been through a lot together, you and I. I never in my wildest dreams expected that we'd end up here, like this, but it is what it is. I wish I could say that I hate this show but I don't, I can't. For over six years, it, the characters, the fanfiction had seen me through the worst, most difficult moments of my life and you, the fandom, the wonderful people I've met thanks to the show, are a great reason why I managed to get through it. You and our ship have given me a place where I could open up and enjoy myself, surrounded by people who understood me. Regardless of what happened this season, whatever might still happen in the finale, they can't take that away. 

Just as they can't take away the six beautiful seasons and the relationship between Clarke and Bellamy. In a few hours, we'll all be free and so will they. And they'll be ours forever. 

I worried about this show ending, over the last few months. I have a tendency to overreact and to get a little too attached, so I worried that this end would be hard for me. I thought I would want to just leave it all behind, that I'd lose the inspiration to write. In a way, I guess it's not such a bad thing that I've given up on canon weeks ago. And in a way, by destroying his own story like this, Jason helped me to realise that this simply will not be the case. I'm nowhere near done.

I'm so grateful for this fandom, for all the wonderful years we've had together and for all the things coming for us still. This isn't a goodbye, this is a new chapter.

Oh! And thank you for voting for my fics in @bellarkeficawards! I'm absolutely floored and amazed that you like my stories so much.
