THE SILENA POST THE WORLD HAS BEEN WAITNG FOR !!
(VERYYY LONG LORE DUMP UNDER IMG CUT)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Silena is a semi main character and if she was in an official comic run, she would be the main character for a good stack of volumes.
At the start of her story, Silena is 14. A sophomore in Highschool and has a decent group of friends including Gwen, MJ, (Melis Jane) , Percy (Percy Parker), and Hazel Osborne .
She gets her mysterio powers while on a history class field trip where both her and Percy get their powers, Percy is blessed by a spider god while Silena basically has a whole magic necklace (later revealed to be a fragment of a reality stone) (this is also canon btw it’s canon every verse has its own set of stones)
Silena being the over imaginative , artsy,
fantasy and magical girl obsessed nerd she is , decides to use her powers for good and becomes “Mysteria”
It’s rather rocky at first , navigating how to use the stone, not getting flattened by villains, etc. her and Percy reveal their identities to another and grow closer as friends.
Percy has a few things happen to him as well such as MJ (his gf) being completely replaced by a chameleon from another universe .
While Percy is busy, he ignores a mugging (which happens to be Silenas dad , Quentin Beck) thinking the police can deal with it.
Silena finds her dad and thinks he’s dead. (dw he is not)
Silena , being immature and this being a “with great power comes great responsibility “ moment for Percy and Silena, Both see it in different ways .
Silena sees it as a way of revenge
Percy sees it as a way to do better.
A fight breaks out between the two (and by fight I mean fist fight.) and the two reconcile . Which is shortly interrupted by Swarm. (Also no. He is not a Nazi. I’m Jew/Romani. Why tf would I make that apart of his character) and Percy gets the “NO NOT THE BEES” treatment. (Sorry Perc, at least you and MJ can chill together in the after life)
Silena now alone , SMITES SWARM. Or tries to but it flees . Later he is defeated. This catches the eye of silvermane who “takes silena under her wing” aka. Straight up
manipulates her and makes her life straight up hell.
Brief interlude of Villains like Shocker, Rhino, Chamelon (the real one not the other universe one Dr strange killed that one) Black cat, and Wolfmann
Also a breif romance between Molten girl (liz Allen) but it ends up in a Peter and Gwen situation.
Also around this time there’s a romance between Silena and her Electra.
Between basically being under silvermanes thumb and getting magical help from Dr Stange , Silenas Life is very busy. Silena also gets other friends like Marcos (hydro man) , Lottie (White rabbit), and some minor villains like Lizard (Kris Connors ) , and Morbius (Dr.Maeve Morbius)
Silverman gets defeated via suit technicality . (Water + technology isn’t good.) also big reveal, Silenas dad is in one piece , Silvermane basically used him as a bargaining chip
Short clone saga arc + Jackal being the worst human being possible. (Dmitri, Both Scopions , and Willow the wisp respectfully experience the horrors )
2 clones introduced
Bianca Riley (Ben Riley with Kaines personality)
And Krystal Riley (Kaine with Ben Riley’s personality.)
Silena gets along great with the two at first but it is quickly shown that Bianca is the evil evil twin. Aka. No morals Spider-Man who is feral. She’s also just cruel to everyone .meanwhile Quentin tries to be a hero like Silena (and gets utterly embarrassed but it’s ok. Can you blame him?? He is just a normal guy?)
And Bianca is the first to get the venom symbiote and genuinely has to be put down after mutating into a spider creature . Honestly very cathartic for Silena and Krystal. (Bianca is a toxic friend.)
———
Personality wise ; Silenas personality is very fluctuating. In video game terms she would have a changling soul from fear and hunger. In normal terms she has a little bit of an identity crisis , and depending on the person her personality changes. She can either be very optimistic or very pessimistic. Very caring or very crude. Etc etc . But she is very imaginative and a problem solver. Starting out very anxious and having her small handful of friends she grows as a character and branches out more and is more confident. That’s not to say though what she’s experienced hasn’t had an affect on her. She is still a major people pleaser most of the time because of the constant beratment from Silvermane and Bianca . And even then , as a sort of defense mechanism , she’s used the stone to seal away memories she never wants to remember again. Ever. While also being a people pleaser she can be chaotic. Often poking fun (out of endearment) at her friends or others. Though that’s not to say she’s very receptive to sarcasm or cruel jokes.she’s a very fluctuating character personality wise like I said . There is no TRUE way to describe her. She bullies and is also the bullied if that makes sense.
Also another key part is she down plays her trauma. She will always believe that what happened or happens to her is no big deal. That it’s fine and that you shouldn’t worry and that no, the glove on her arm is just for decoration and style! And no you shouldn’t tell her dad because he has so much on his shoulder’s already! Why stress him out with something that he shouldn’t worry about!
Also my voice claim for her !

(konata <the Blue haired one is my vc for her btw!!)

Continuing a nightmare war au family tree trend. I introduce you to Melissa Khepri daughter of Sandy shores and Talith. Thusly chryssi and Dirge’s grand daughter. Melissa is a fierce full offense fighter with a bit of a short temper. She aims to become a hive queen like her mother and grandmother but her short shortsightedness tend to get in the way of her ambitions. Melissa is a fierce fighter in up close combat, she ducks and weaves through her enemies own attacks then capitalizes with a flurry of kicks and punches. The stinger on the end of her tail is venomous enough to fell most opponets with a single stab though hardier opponets have proven to be resiliant but the immense pain it causes tends to lower there capabilities. Welcome Melissa Fury of the swarm. Commisioned by @minion-of-the-east drawn by @jonfawkes

Meet The Writer
1. What’s your oldest WIP, and how old is it? What inspired you to start it?
My oldest WIP that’s still currently in motion is my main one, The Academy. It turned two years old September 22 (ahh!!)
I got the idea when my dad (also a writer) suggested a school with a bunch of magical creatures living in tandem, instead of a magic school specifically for like wizards or whatever. I thought it sounded very interesting, so I took a couple of character’s I’d made before and started writing!
(Fun fact, a few of the main characters in the Academy were originally from a Percy Jackson fanfiction about demigods with fears that greatly contradicted their powers! Paris was a son of Aphrodite who was terrified of falling in love, and Kieran was a son of Hecate who despised magic! Early drafts of the Academy had very heavy influence from Greek Mythology as well, up until I decided that I really didn’t want it to be so similar to Percy Jackson and created my own mythos instead.)
2. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to writing?
I tend to overanalyze, well, everything in my writing. One of the worst feelings is when I think of something really clever and then I discover that it opens up a plot hole in an earlier portion. Oh well, that’s what revisions are for, right? *gross sobbing*
3. What scene did you enjoy writing the most out of all your WIPs? What scene did you enjoy writing the least?
Ooohhh, that’s a good question. Frankly, I’m not entirely sure. I definitely really like the quiet, romantic scenes, because I’m a total sap and I don’t get to write many of those.
As for the one I liked the least, well… One of my main characters has been through some pretty traumatic shit in their past, and partway through the book they have a nightmare and completely break down, and gods I hated writing that. It hurts me so much to put them through that.
4. What’s your favorite trope?
Well, I have a lot of them. I really like characters who are done with everything and everyone and only go along with the crazy shit that happens to them because they have to. Like, they’ll let the plot drag them around but by the gods they’re kicking and dragging their heels along the way. I also really like casual fourth-wall breaking, Gilligan cuts, and the *thing happens and two characters in the background exchange money* tropes.
5. Which of your protagonists do you relate to the most?
Well, I have a character that’s very heavily based off of me―and who also shares my name. Although, while they were written with the intention of being somewhat of a self-insert, they’ve grown and changed as a character so much now that we really aren’t alike anymore. Frankly, I’m not entirely sure. I’d probably say Nick just for simplicity’s sake, but I don’t really know.
6. What is the worst writing experience you’ve ever had with another writer, anywhere, since you’ve started writing?
I don’t really talk to people in general. I don’t think I can recall a negative experience with another writer, actually.
7. What character from a famous story, book/movie/comic/game, or otherwise, do you despise the most? Why?
Severus motherfucking Snape. I have so many reasons for hating him.
He was an abusive, racist prick who got pissed when his female friend wasn’t romantically interested in him, called her a racist name when she tried to help him, and fucked off to join the wizard Nazis.
He only defected over to the good side because he was still obsessed with Lily and was afraid of her being murdered.
He literally asked Voldemort to spare Lily so he could be with her―sure, kill the year-old infant and the man she actually loves, but no, keep her alive so I can force my love on her.
Despite being a supposedly “good” guy, he mentally abused his students for years, so much so that he even became Neville Longbottom’s worst fear.
Neville Longbottom, who frequently goes to see his essentially braindead parents and is alluded to being able to remember when they were tortured so badly that they became that way, was tormented so badly by Snape that he became Neville’s worst fear.
Upon finding the Potter house after the were killed, he completely breezes past James’ body, ignored the wailing and bleeding child in the crib, just to hold Lily’s body and weep over how he never got to sleep with her.
He has an unreasonable hatred for Harry just because Harry looks like James.
He was so salty about something that happened when they were children (that wasn’t even Lupin’s fault, by the way) that he outed Lupin as a werewolf and forced him to resign, depriving Hogwarts of the only good DADA teacher it ever had.
And yet, despite all of this, he is given a redemption arc. He is considered a redeemable character, when Draco Malfoy, a literal child who was tortured and abused for a good portion of his life and had very little of a say in most of his awful choices, “doesn’t have a heart of gold.”
Snape is seen as a romantic, selfless guy by a good portion of the fandom because…he was obsessed with a girl who wanted nothing to do with him? Because of a throwaway line where he proclaimed he would always be obsessed with a girl who wanted nothing to do with him?
It’s bad enough that the fans think this, but the books treat it like this as well!! SNAPE, of all people, gets a redemption arc―if you can even call those bullshit excuses that. I, for one, am thoroughly sick of abusive characters getting redeemed.
(Sorry for ranting, I have a lot of feelings about this.)
8. What’s your favorite line of dialogue you’ve ever written?
Most of my characters are sarcastic little shits, so that’s really hard to say.
9. Who’s the worst character you’ve ever written, in terms of morality?
Well….hm….  The thing about my characters, particularly my antagonists, is that I do my very best to make them something other than just evil. In their eyes, their bad actions are justified. So, it’s really hard to choose.
My main villain is a very self-righteous, ambitious sort of guy. He’s kinda racist (a lot of older magi in my story just….really don’t like the fae), and thinks that the magi (magical folk) are superior. BUT, instead of wanting to take over the world or anything, he just wants to leave. Long story short, the magi are originally from another dimension, and it’s there that he wants to return them. Unfortunately, this other dimension is presumed to have been destroyed, and even if it is there, opening a rift to go there could potentially completely destroy our world. He doesn’t care about that, though―after all, it’s only humans and dirty fae that would die.
The only other character I can think of is the one I just really hate. Like, she just oozes evil and I kind of love to write her, because I don’t really have any other characters that have that slick evil personality. But she’s a pretty terrible person too. Her twin brother was taken by the fae as an infant, a changling left in his place. The changeling doesn’t know that yet―but she does.
Their entire life, she’s blamed him for why she doesn’t have her actual brother. She pretends like she loves him, but the entire time she’s been emotionally abusing him and making him constantly feel like crap about himself. She’s even physically abused him, by taking iron and burning him whenever she can get away with it.
I think she’d probably be the worst.
10. Do you prefer happy endings or bad endings? Or do you prefer the middle ground?
Definitely good endings. I can appreciate well-written bad endings, but only after I get over my initial emotional response to it. Sometimes, that takes me a while―like Swarm by Scott Westerfeld. I read that almost a year ago and I’m still fucking pissed. I’m just not really a fan of endings that leave a bad taste in my mouth. (One of the reasons I chose to reread Huck Finn for English instead of doing Of Mice And Men, despite the fact that I kind of loath Huck Finn.)
I’m also aware that not all stories can have feel-good endings, and in many of them, those types of endings just don’t make sense. *squints at the end of Mockingjay*
But, in general, I greatly prefer good endings.

On the Lam
Two hours after Shadow, Captain Cattitude, Bouldelaire, and Phoebe left Shadow and Thom's apartment, a throng of FBI agents swarmed the home of Shadow and Thom. "FBI, let us in," said Karl, the rotund sweating FBI agent as he pounded on the door. "Coming," said Thom as he nervously opened the door. "How may I help you said Thom to the now four agents standing outside the open door. "We know Captain Cattitude is here. Let us in on your own terms or we will force our way in," said Karl. "Please come in and have a look around. He's not here nor has he ever been here. But please, look around," said Thom motioning for the agents to come in... Meanwhile, Captain Cattitude breaks the silence in the getaway car driven by a very tense agent Baudelaire. "We need to get my ship," said Captain Cattitude. "I can't leave it behind. In fact, perhaps I should leave your planet," he said. "You can't leave while Shadow is going through the Changling," said a concerned Phoebe. "Yes, you're right. I should stay until the Changling is completed," said Captain Cattitude. "What about your ship?," said Bouldelaire unware Captain Cattitude had his ship hidden. "Shadow can take us to it. Perhaps it would be best if we used my ship to get to your safe house. They won't be looking for a ship, plus their radars can't pick us up using our stealth technology," concluded Captain Cattitude. "Sounds like a solid plan. Shadow where do I need to head?" said Baudelaire. "Head to Lake Merced. Luckily we have been driving in that direction. It should be two hours away," said an exhausted Shadow. The Changling was taking a toll on her body. "Wake me up when we get close. I need to show you the exact location..." said Shadow as she started to curl up in a ball to sleep...

glimmerwicz liked this post for a starter
Everyone had to flee. There was no other choice.
Equestria was falling, and all Gale could do was watch it crumble away. Even if he did fight against the changelings back there, would ponies even recognize he was trying to help? If he could only get close to Chrysalis... then maybe something could have been done. For when a leader falls, so does their warriors like the toppling of dominos. However, the mobs of running ponies and swarms of changelings ensured he wasn’t going to get close to her. There was nothing he could have done then.
However... maybe he could do something now.
He had heard rumors of rebellion against the evil queen in Griffonstone. It was because of this, that he was there now. However, upon his arrival he was met with apprehension. He had come alone, without any escort. He was suspicious.
“You have to let me in! I can help!” He had pleaded to the deaf ears of the guards. “You don’t understand! I’m not a changling--” His voice was cut short, as one of the guards lunged forward. Rubbing some kind of... solution on him. What happened next, caused him to backpedal faster than a spooked rabbit. A large apparition had formed above and around Gale, it was distorted and unable to manifest properly. It’s body was a Chaotic mess, stabilizing and destabilizing all over the place. Whatever it was, snarled down at the guards. “-- What did you put on me???” He hadn’t quite noticed the apparition yet, “Just let me through!”

Name: Sissy (Pony) Species: Changeling (currently an Earth pony) Sexuality: Asexual Personality: Reserved, curious, cautious Character background: Sissy was originally a General for the Changling army, given that rank for being of higher intelligence compared to the other Changlings. During the attack of Canterlot, the General (Sissy) was raiding a home when they saw a blast that was throwing back all the Changlings, but leaving the ponies safe. The General quickly looked for a pony to copy their form when they saw a poster of Princess Luna (season one form) and changed into it. It had worked, and the General had remained safe, but when they went outside, they were swarmed by ponies asking questions. Panicked, the General flew far into an empty ally way. Knowing that they couldn’t stay in their current form, General searched the garbage for a piece of paper and coloring materials. They made a pony near identical to the form they were in now, but an Earth pony to decrease suspicion, and chose the color badges they had been honored with before this. White for outstanding IQ (for a Changling), red for the execution of a high profile enemy, and grey for torturing an enemy. General changed into this new form and continued to rummage through the trash for something that could be used as shelter, when Shela found them, asked for their name (in which General made up “Sissy”), and offered to take them in untill they could get onto their hooves. Sissy currently resides with Shela were they are learning how to function in pony civilization. Random fact: Sissy can’t solve math problems unless they are looking at the equation physically.
