Take your time, I know I am not the only one with asks.
Desmond Miles, Malik Al-Sayf, Kadar Al-Sayf, Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad, Leonardo Da Vinci and Ezio Auditore all playing Dungeons and Dragons pre canon (pre AC.) Desmond has no idea who his friends are cause he didn't pay attention to history lessons and drowned out his father after awhile of his bloodline importance speeches. Kadar is the Dungeon Master/Storyteller. Malik and Altaïr play Paladin and Cleric respectively. Ezio pretty much plays himself, charming flirt. Leonardo, plays powerful characters since he feels powerless often. His friends enjoy Desmond's company that when he goes missing they step up to find him. And Desmond's mind is blown after viewing Altaïr's memories that he figures out who the other two are.
Once again take your time.
Okay.
What if Altaïr is in a forced sabbatical?
Maybe it’s similar to what happened in 1191 where Altaïr’s actions led to the death of someone. Maybe it’s because he deliberately got between their team and the Brotherhood under William Miles.
If you want to keep Clay alive, maybe he saved Clay and that led the Templars and the Assassins into almost recognizing him so they’re all lying low.
Altaïr being not allowed to leave the house is his punishment XD
Malik is an inch away from actually strangling the man with the lan cable for his computer because a bored Altaïr is an annoying one and Kadar took a part time job because he’s that bored.
Kadar met Desmond because his part time job is a delivery man for a specific brand of alcohol that Bad Weather keeps on stock.
Kadar recognized him immediately as William miles’ runaway son and befriended him because he’s curious.
Their friendship leads to Desmond admitting he’s curious about DnD but doesn’t have friends to play with. Kadar invites him because he has online friends that he actually plays DnD with (one of those friends being Rebecca and, if you want a watch_dog reference, Wrench) so he gets the others to play DnD as well because they’re all varying degrees of noobs.
Also, this way, Altaïr would actually have something to do XD
Before Desmond gets there, Kadar makes them promise not to talk about anything Assassin related because Desmond is the first actual offline friend Kadar has made that wasn’t part of the whole ‘we sorta got reincarnated/transmigrated into the future but we’re not gonna talk about that I guess’ thing.
(I’m using http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/ for character info and I am absolutely not sure if they’re already available by 4e XD)
Unorganized Notes:
Kadar uses 4e rules but is fast and loose with them (because I wish to give them 5e but 5e was relased in 2014 TTATT). Leonardo makes the minis but Kadar makes the maps (he does check online for references). It’s his own campaign but his online DnD group helps him (he actually plays a Rogue online named ‘Altair’ without the ‘ï’ because he’s still a fanboy)
Everyone agreed Rogue is off-limits because they might all choose Rogue and also to not tip Desmond off so no one is a Rogue. Desmond screws this up by actually picking Rogue. Desmond actually goes for Assassin Rogue because he loves irony XD His backstory is that he left a cult of assassins as a child and is trying the adventurer life. Everyone just feels a bit awkward when he told them that backstory but Desmond just breezed through that so it was just for a moment XD
Malik is an Oath of Vengeance Paladin who share the same deity as Altaïr. In-game, this is because Altaïr is a Cleric on a mission to appease their god and Malik is there to keep him in check. Out of game, Malik wants to be the one to finally annoy Altaïr this time around and this backstory gives him an excuse to do it.
Altaïr is an Arcana Domain Cleric who is on a mission of redemption as ordered by his deity. The reason why he’s in a road of redemption is unclear and it’s clear that Altaïr has no respect for his deity. In-game, everyone who worship the same deity call him their god’s ‘Chosen’ and he hates it (Kadar absolutely loves to ham out the worshipping of the 'Chosen' XD). Out of everyone, he’s the player who is absolutely min-maxing his character.
Let’s be honest, we’re all expecting Ezio to be the Bard and he is. He even plays the guitar because, according to him, it’s better than a minstrel's lute, whatever that means. Absolutely a School of Swords Bard that has the highest Charisma stat among all of them. He’s the designated leader and the one who pulled everyone together into this weird group of adventurers. He may or may not be a noble who ran away from home.
Leonardo is an Artificer. While Artificers are already available as a class in 4e, their specialties were officially created for 5e but fuck it, let’s say it’s a modified Artificer class because Leonardo should be an Artillerist Artificer. If you don’t want the Artificer class because of how questionable it is possible for 4e, my alternate suggestion is Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer for pure magic destruction or Great Old One Warlock (unli Eldritch Blast). He plays Ezio’s character’s long suffering childhood best friend who joined the group because Ezio ‘begged’.
The campaign may or may not be a chosen one absolutely not wanting to do his mission as said chosen one and being dragged along by his god approved babysitter and a misfit company (the twist is Altaïr's mission is to actually find their god's child that is supposed to save the world... it's Desmond. Desmond's the god's child. The cult he's from is worshipping the same god as Altaïr but Desmond, Altaïr and Malik don't know it. Kadar thinks he's made such a good plot twist XD)
(I left their races ambiguous for you to play with. I personally would suggest making Altaïr a kenku for the lols XD)

I thought it was time I shared this with the world:
Ven’s (Mostly Chaotic) DnD Character Ideas
A Haunted One who literally will not stop being dramatic about their dark past
A an edgy, teenage, punk rock bard
A tired sage professor supervising a field trip gone wrong
Atheist clerics who get their magic purely from spiting higher powers
A warlock with religious trauma who only became a warlock to side with the enemy of the deity they once followed
A whole party of unsocialized members who all think the others know about normal society and follow what they do (Aasimar with no mortal experience, a tiefling from hell, a dwarf who’s been underground their whole life, etc.)
A noble tiefling child, everyone is convinced they’re Satan’s child
A barbarian who’s never actually been in a fight and apologizes constantly when fighting people and/or asks before attacking someone
A dragonborn who hoards dice. Both the character and the player. Just steals everyone’s dice.
Extremely religious/traditional acolyte, but to the beliefs of Greek mythology. So absolutely nothing like the conservative Christians of today. Lots of homosexuality and immodesty.
Druid with about a million severe allergies
A Cleric/Paladin who this EVERYTHING is a sign. A brown leaf blows across the path? Oh, we have to have apple pie tonight or we die. Meets someone named Daniel? Someone’s getting struck my lightning tomorrow, sorry.
Bards with autism or aromantic/asexual bards. Just generally not stereotypically charismatic or flirty bards.
Desert circle druid who just really likes throwing sand at people
A paladin with a god that just doesn’t exist. They’re either making it up or hearing something that’s not there. Either way, they’ve basically devoted their entire life to just whatever god exists in their mind.
On that note, a paladin or cleric whose god is the DM/their player

This is the girlfriend of Marie Gatita, whose ref sheet I posted earlier.
They met while Marie was in her panther form (the brown-ish one cuddling) and have never had a real conversation, but they love each other and make it work anyway.

Dnd campaign idea where every player is using a character from a different game set up. You got a character that plays the usual dnd D20 set up, while someone else is using d6s to make decisions because that’s their character.
This would probably be a good idea for a game where the story is that dimensions are crossing, and that leads true down to the characters the players are playing.

DND MERRIN ????
So apparently I now have another DND character ready and no tea no shade, it started as a joke when I said Merrin from Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor would make a great complex DND character and now I have a homebrew species, a class + subclass, new powers, 2 new languages and some spell casting formulas ???? Something complex and a complete background ?????? And a playlist ????
Tumblr media Tumblr media

Skills: Athletics, Survival, Nature, Perception
Equipment: Quarterstaff, Dagger, Leather Armor, Explorer's Pack
1st Level: Entangle, Faerie Fire, Cure Wounds, Thunderwave 2nd Level: Moonbeam, Pass without Trace, Barkskin, Darkvision 3rd Level: Call Lightning, Plant Growth, Speak with Dead, Vampiric Touch ?????
Wild Shape: As a member of the Circle of the Moon, Merrin can transform into different animals. This allows her to scout, fight, and solve problems in new ways. At level 2, she can turn into a Dire Wolf or a tall white werewolf. Nightsister Magic: Merrin can use her Nightsister heritage to cast spells that other druids cannot. These spells include Vampiric Touch, Speak with Dead, and Bestow Curse. Outlander: Merrin has experience living off the land and surviving in harsh environments. She gains proficiency in Survival and one language of her choice.
Language: Merrin speaks a unique language that combines elements of Latin, Italian, and an ancient Nightsister tongue. The language is filled with flowing, melodic sounds, and often employs long, complex words that convey layers of meaning. Some possible words and phrases in Merrin's language are:
Valquira: (n.): a place of strength and power, often used to describe the Nightsister home planet of Dathomir. Umbralux: (adj.): dark and mysterious, often used to describe Nightsister magic. Velenosa: (n.): poison, often used to describe the corrupting influence of the Dark Side of the Force. Silvena: (n.): moon, often used in spells and invocations.

For Speak with Dead: "Ombre del passato, sollevatevi e parlate con noi. Che la vostra saggezza ci guidi."
Translation:
For Entangle: "Take root, grow, multiply, bind our enemies. Let your vines wrap around their souls." For Moonbeam: "Shine, moon, with your purifying light. Banish the darkness of death and despair." For Bestow Curse: "May the burden of past sins oppress our enemies. May their weight be a constant reminder of their mistakes." For Vampiric Touch: "Draw the life force from their flesh. Let their blood nourish our magic." For Speak with Dead: "Shadows of the past, rise up and speak to us. Let your wisdom guide us."
Tumblr media
Background:
"Merrin was born into a small community of witches deep in a forest shrouded in mystery and legend. From a young age, she displayed a natural aptitude for the arcane arts, and her Nightsister sisters recognized her as a prodigy.
However, when Merrin was still a teenager, tragedy struck. A powerful curse befell her community, decimating its members and leaving Merrin as the sole survivor. Devastated and traumatized by the loss of her sisters and the destruction of her home, Merrin retreated into the forest, vowing never to use her powers again.
For years, Merrin lived as a hermit, surviving off the land and avoiding contact with outsiders. She became skilled in the art of herbalism and developed a deep connection with the forest and its creatures. However, despite her attempts to distance herself from her past, the memory of the curse and the loss of her community haunted her every waking moment.
Merrin had been meditating in the forest, seeking solace in the stillness of the trees. As she sat with her eyes closed, she heard the distant sound of voices, muffled by the leaves and branches. Curiosity piqued, she opened her eyes and focused her senses, honing in on the direction of the noise.
What she heard chilled her to the bone.
" Did you hear about those girls we found ?"; A gruff voice spoke, filled with malice. "They put up a hell of a fight, but we took 'em down. Three of 'em, all with these crazy tattoos and pale skin."
Merrin's heart skipped a beat.
She knew those tattoos all too well.
The Nightsisters.
Her mind raced with questions. Who were these travelers ? What had the Nightsisters done to provoke them ? But her thoughts were quickly overtaken by a powerful wave of grief and rage. The memory of her community's destruction flooded her mind, and she felt a searing pain in her chest.
Without thinking, Merrin leapt from the tree branch she had been perched on and landed on the forest floor with a thud. Her eyes glowed with a fierce intensity, and her hands shook with barely-contained energy.
"_ You killed them."; Her voice was low and trembling with anger. " You killed my sisters."
The travelers looked up, startled by the sudden appearance of the pale-skinned, tattooed woman before them. They raised their weapons defensively, eyeing her warily.
"_ Who are you ?"; The leader of the group demanded. " What do you want?"
Merrin didn't answer. Instead, she raised her hands and began to channel her anger into a blast of dark energy. The air around her crackled with power, and the leaves on the trees rustled violently.
The travelers had no chance. They were caught off-guard by Merrin's sudden attack, and they fell one by one under the force of her magic. Merrin's eyes were filled with tears as she unleashed her fury, and she felt a sense of satisfaction with every strike.
When it was over, Merrin collapsed to the ground, spent and shaking. The bodies of the travelers lay scattered around her, their weapons and armor strewn haphazardly in the dirt.
Merrin wept openly, mourning the loss of the Nightsisters and the pain that had been inflicted upon her. But in the midst of her grief, she felt a sense of purpose growing within her. She knew that she could not bring back her community, but she could protect others from suffering a similar fate. And with that thought, she picked herself up and began to walk forward, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Merrin's eyes blazed with a fierce green fire as she stood over the bodies of the fallen travelers. Her chest heaved with the exertion of her magic, and her hands shook with the residual energy.
She surveyed the carnage around her, her heart heavy with grief and rage. The travelers had paid the price for their crimes, but it was not enough. Merrin knew that there were more out there, more who had taken her sisters from her.
And she would not rest until they were all destroyed.
With a snarl, Merrin picked up one of the fallen traveler's swords, feeling its weight in her hand. It was a crude weapon, but it would do. She strapped it to her back and began to gather the rest of the travelers' belongings, stuffing them into a small pack.
As she walked towards the city visible on the horizon, her steps were heavy with purpose. She knew that she would face many challenges along the way, but she did not care. She was fueled by a burning anger and a fierce determination to avenge her sisters..."
Some quotes:
"My grief has hardened into a blade, and I will use it to cut down my enemies."
"The night is a cloak that hides my wrath, but soon it will be revealed to all."
"I am the last of the Nightsisters, and I will show them the true meaning of fear."
AND I DON'T THINK THAT'S A JOKE ANYMORE ????????

D&D character idea. A chaotic neutral tiefling artificer.
His backstory:
Showing promise as an artificer from a young age he joined forces with his friend to create a tavern where customers would come from the food and drink and stay for the automaton entertainers.
He felt the automatons where not entertaining enough so one night he kidnapped a bunch of orphans and fused there spirit with the entertainers in an attempt to make the more intelligent and thus more entertaining. However once his friend found out they went separate ways and the automatons were supposedly scrapped and the tavern closed as it’s gimmick was gone and the food was sub par.
Now our tiefling is on a quest to get revenge and get back at his so-called friend. However danger lurks in the shadows as someone or should I say someones also are in search of revenge.

For my first DnD campaign I have an oath of glory Paladin who is Not Smart and I’m essentially just combining Ricky Matsui and Amethar
But she’s a Flamingo Aarakocra who wears plate in the shape of a crop top and mini skirt. Her main weapon is a flail covered in pink feathers so it looks like a pom pom
Her name is Rebrecka Rebrochovitch and I have never been so excited for anything
