Chapter 331: Hemingford (Pt. 1)

“I’m glad to see you both,” Phillip said, greeting his brothers-in-law in the library at Edgemoor.

“It’s been pretty quiet around here with Stephanie gone, so I’m happy for the distraction," Phillip continued, "although I’ve been helping Tony with the baby as much as I can.”

“That must be fun,” Michael said, sarcastically.

“Actually, it is,” Phillip said. “I mean, Steph and I have been trying for a baby for a while now, so I guess it’s good practice. But since I’m pretty sure you’re not here to help with little Emily, I have to ask, why are you here?”

“Well, I just felt like we should ….” Michael started, awkwardly.

“He’s here because of a woman,” Ted said.

“A woman?” Phillip said. “Who?”

“The Baroness Wexton,” Michael said, timidly. “I understand she lives not far from here.”

“Indeed,” Phillip said, motioning for them to sit.

“In fact, her estate borders this one," he continued. "It had been empty for years until recently. I only recently learned that Lady Wexton had opened it back up again.”

“Do you know her well?” Michael asked.

“Helena?” Phillip asked. “Not really. We’ve met, of course, but she was only a child then, and she lived in Paris for years after her parents passed away. I’ve been meaning to invite her for dinner to get reacquainted.”

“Really?” Michael asked eagerly.

“Easy, tiger,” Ted laughed.

Phillip smiled.

“Yes,” he said. “I was waiting until Stephanie got back, but I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to have a little dinner party while you’re here. We can ask my sister, Alicia, and her husband, Miles. And Tony, of course. I’m sure he’d love some adult conversation.”

“Good, then it’s settled,” Michael said. “Oh, if you don’t mind, I’d like to be the one who extends the invitation. I’m quite looking forward to seeing Lady Wexton again.”

Ted grinned, but held his tongue as Michael left.

Phillip looked at Ted curiously.

“This is new, isn’t it?” he asked.

“Yes, it is,” Ted said, grinning. “I’ve never seen him like this before. I mean, he’s been in several relationships, but I don’t think I ever remember him being this … obsessed?”

Phillip laughed.

“Then I suppose we should be supportive,” he said. “We’ll definitely hear about it from Stephanie if we’re anything but.”

Black Clover Ch 331

So yeah, I will finally talk about the most recent chapter… I know I’m pretty late but I was sick and wasn’t really feeling like posting anything.

Spoilers under the cut!

First of all he is a cutie and I have nothing else to add to this. Just look at him I wanna give him a hug so badly <3

Wow, I don’t really know what to say…

I mean I wasn’t expecting this but somehow I was expecting it if that makes any sense at all XD

What I’m trying to say is that at the very beginning of the anime/manga I suspected Julius to be the traitor because he just gave of those vibes.

(Yes I looked up one of my very first posts just to check what I wrote about Julius back then XD also I’m cringing myself over how often I used the word “like”. But to be fair I wrote this around the time where I first started using English outside of school)

I think this is also the reason why this revelation is sooo amazing because you somehow subconsciously knew this would happen the entire time but you still didn’t expect it as it finally did happen.

Though, I do believe that Julius was in some kind of way possessed and didn’t really know what happened himself. At least his surprise in the chapter seemed genuin and it really looked like he was trying to warn Damnatio.

And besides I just refuse to believe that he didn’t actually care about the people close to him.

You could argue that he might have felt a connection with Yami and William because they are like the key to the underworld but that still wouldn’t explain why he cared about his other friends like Marx.

Speaking about my poor baby… he is gonna be soo devastated when he finds out about all of this and I’m so not ready for it. Seeing him sad during the elf-arc already broke me so this is probably gonna shatter my heart into pieces… :(

And I swear, Tabata if you kill him off I will never forgive you.

The worst thing is it isn’t even that unlikely that Marx will die while trying to confront Julius/Lucius/Astaroth or whatever he is called know. (honestly, all of this is really starting to confuse me a bit XD)

Anyway I really hope Marx will survive this because I will cry if he doesn’t.

I’m also really sad that the manga is going to end…

I get it everything must come to an end at some point but it still makes me really sad. Black Clover is my favorite anime/manga and also my comfort one. And while my hero academia introduced me to anime Black Clover made me love it.

Black Clover is also what brought me to tumblr and through what I met a lot of amazing people and I’m just soo grateful for all of this. And of course just because the series is ending, doesn’t mean that I will suddenly stop creating content for it (or other people as well) but it’s still weird to think that we won’t be getting new official content after this last arc ends.

But I’m also really excited to see what Tabata is going to do with this last arc and how he is planning on ending this series!

I hope any of this made sense cause my head is still a little bit fuzzy and I can’t really think clearly yet… XD

Anyway I just realized I talked way more about Marx and the end of the Manga than about Julius (which I originally intended) but I feel like everyone else has already said everything that is there to say about him. Maybe I will add some things to their takes in the future but for now I don’t think it is necessary for me to write my own paragraph on his character.

It went so according to plan that Waylan actually felt a little afraid. Just how amazing was that kid's foresight? Does he even know how good he is?

He's grown tremendously from the beginning.

Can't believe this is the same person that realized after a good while that... he didn't Actually write an ending to his book. It's hilarious, when you think about it. He's so Incredible now
