As I mentioned in Episode #21 of our Dangerous Romance podcast I love this song so much. The melody is so pretty and catching in a way that is both uplifting but also strangely melancholic.

When listening to it, for me it invokes images of dappled sunshine and a warm summer breeze, it has such a vibe that I feel like I'm not doing it justice.

Positioned in the first episode around the five-minute mark, only the instrumental was used, and yet the lyrics work so beautifully for them also.

I found an AI-written article about the meaning of the lyrics and I was just going 'YES, YES, YES!!!' the whole time I was reading it. (I love it when my obsessive insanity is backed up by things more intelligent than me.)

This AI-written article makes me wonder if this particular AI has somehow become sentient and is a fan of Dangerous Romance and has devoured our podcast, because when I was reading the article it was like it was inteligently speaking on why I loved this song and why it couldn't have been more perfect both for that moment in the show and Kang and Sailom's relationship.

The fact that this song was chosen by someone involved in this show and they chose to only include the instrument piece at the start of the song both impresses and kind of angers me.

It's such a good fit - Did they not realize it? Or is this just one more way the Dangerous Romance crew made it known that they are far superior to other productions by encouraging its viewers to engage and really dig into this show?

The song ends much like the show with love and freedom to be themselves together, which will last an infinity.

The way the show ends with Kang coming back to Sailom who has become his home, and in return, Sailom coming to Kang in the hotel room to embrace past fears and hurts lends itself very well to the ideas of home and strength we see mentioned at the end of the song.

A line I somehow missed with my many screenshots "Now we're ready to be whole." Oh, my poor Kanghan Sailom heart.

I love this idea of them feeling equal to each other in the end because they make up each other's missing pieces and now when they're together they're whole.

Bluma reminds me of a character from Mary poppins of Caroline in the dearest of ways. Or like Norman. You get the picture. She is so precious popping her head around corners like a meerkat I can’t. tbh I think I prefer db goku to z goku cause a lot of the decisions he makes in z (ie going against king kai by wanting to fight frieza, not taking care of the androids when bluma said they should, letting buu live when he coulda taken him out and that whole deal with old kai) just feel like toriyama pushing his own weird reasonings for the storyline onto the guy. I dunno tho maybe Im just looking too much into db again which is never a good thing lol

Looking too much into db isnt a good thing for your health youre right yet here i am 😔 its cause as much as i have my grievances with the series im so passionate bout it cause i love it and i know it could be better

But thats definitely a reason- like i usually favor most of the cast during DB since that was their prime and they were still growing and discovering themselves, so it was just Peak Investment. Plus db was more fun and less Life Or Death- a kid just wanted to win a tournament and it just so happened a buncha bullshit was flung his way lmao

DBZ certainly feels more fight focussed Which I Wouldnt Mind if the fights didnt seem to bank on the ki blasts being the show stopper, hence the weird decisions the characters make at times to start fights and keep them going. I wouldnt mind goku being a bit merciful during dbz if he was still young and didnt know better, but at this point goku’s seen the worst of the worst- he should know not to let antagonists go so easily, especially when his friends and family could be in danger

Which you could argue is just an intrinsic flaw where he’s too good for his own good but i feel like that kind of thinking just cannibalizes itself; by goku being good In The Moment he inadvertedly causes problems later on- an issue he realizes by the cell saga Which Is Great By The Way and would have been perfect if the series just stopped there. I dont like the fanon that goku’s stupid- he’s been shown to be pretty smart, while not in the traditional sense sometimes he’s still very much so in combat and common sense, so it just feels weird he seems to overlook issues that could come back to bite him and his loved ones

I dont hate DBZ goku he surely has his moments- both entertainment wise and character wise. But- just like the rest of the DB cast, he was at his best in the original series because we got to see him go through that growth and things werent as crazy as they are now. DBZ is exactly what it appears to be: a continuation of dragon ball where the cast has gone through the majority of their arcs and are now just figuring out how to deal with the threat of the year. I dont expect the db’s characteristics to be highlights- that kind of focus goes towards dbz’s new characters who need time and attention to demonstrate their own growth and trials

    OH LORD let’s see, I’ve had two female oc’s and two female canons that lasted a long while - Winry and Bluma, and Sally ( a fandomless/Greek demigod ) and Chrissy here. Winry and Bluma were poppin. Everybody loves Winry. She’s best girl, top tier female protag, and Bulma is well, BULMA, badass scientist, snatched up Vegeta as a husband and is just all in all one of the most recognizable female characters in all of manga. So those two blogs had a lot of interest, a lot of interactions, it was super hard to keep up with all the threads and requests and of course I had all the canon content to sift through and make headcanons from ( Winry especially, I loved writing her ).

Then, there comes my female oc’s. Sally was a very old DC themed oc back when young justice was still airing! So that fandom was alive and very OC friendly ( super easy to make an oc for that world too, Sally was a Human, non-meta superhero photographer and?? i loved her haha ANYWAY ) Sally was accepted pretty well by most yj-themed blogs, but outside of those? Not many people showed interest in her. It wasn’t until I switched from a yj only blog to a Greek-myth blog that I started getting more interactions.

As for Chrissy, only the people in the fma-rpc ever stuck around her ( at least, back then when I started ). But I will say I find it difficult to actually try following people first that I didn’t know before I left. I don’t like the idea of people seeing my Villain and thinking she’s going to just be automatically overpowered or super sexual or just after your Muse or a ship - Even now, I don’t really get followed first and I never have, not like when I’ve written for my canon muses. 

On one hand I understand that the ones I wrote are very popular so they’re going to get followed faster and shown much more interest than an oc you have to read up on to KNOW, but on the other hand I always feel like I’m doing something wrong when I got a few weeks without anyone following haha

turned out that I didn’t have to spend the week in the other house so I stressed myself out a few days ago for nothing. but at least I spent some time to come back to blender.

Anyway this is Bluma Everhold who belongs to @trashasaurusrex. it is still difficult for me to make heads and faces, and there’s a reason of why I haven’t made the body. But in less than a month I will start learning in a school of animation 3d, plus a few sessions of 2d, and I hope to get much better at all of this. The only thing is that I’m going to have to learn from maya, Zbrush, unity and others, instead of keeping myself in my comfort zone in blender.

Before you start to wonder why I would critique a movie that sounds girly, it’s not often you see Michelle Trachtenberg play a role in which her character goes from a brainy girl to a graceful young woman.

Finally, the main lesson of the story is that as long as you put your mind and heart on whatever you dare to achieve, anything is possible. Without a doubt, I recommend this film wholeheartedly to every devoted fan of Michelle Trachtenberg.
