Raph being easily the hardest turtle for me to draw, I decided to do a study so that I can draw him better. I'll share a few of my observations and such here.

Raph's head is basically a circle with extra steps. Straight lines connect the edges of the circle, his chin a single line directly across the bottom. His eye line is set on the center line of the circle. His snout also starts at the center of the circle.

Raph's arms and legs are built out of angular tube like shapes. The palms of his hands and base of his feet are made with polygons. It also looks like where the top of the plastron curves is also the same point as when the shell curves. I've noticed that with all the turtles.

His torso is also heart shaped. These more simplified drawing things show the shell curving and the plastron line connecting a bit better. His shell also follows the angle trend, curving on the sides. Overall, Raph's shape is bulky and angular.
