NICKNAME: Techically speaking Alika is a nickname! My full name is Alexander! But only my γιαγιά calls me that. Or the police.

GENDER: Cis man

STAR SIGN: I'm a Sagittarius, more specifically a December one! Which means I'm ruled by Mars & The Sun

HEIGHT: 6'0 (1.82 cm)

ORIENTATION: As for now I see myself as a gay man but I don't like orientation labels when it comes to myself.

NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: If you couldn't tell already, I'm Greek! Me and my family are from Ródos. We moved to the United Kingdom when i was 10, that's where my accent is from.

FAVORITE FRUIT: Peach! I can't eat as much as I'd want to cause I'm not a sweet tooth.

FAVORITE SEASON: Are you kidding me? Summer above everything else. The sun, the beach, nothing can compare.

FAVORITE FLOWER: Mayweed, it brings back so many memories. Roses are worth an honorable mention.

FAVORITE SCENT: Sea salt and fig, it reminds me of home

COFFEE, TEA, or HOT CHOCOLATE: I do enjoy a good tea but coffee is the only thing that can kick the sleep off me in the morning.

AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: Oh my sleep schedule is a mess don't ask me anything about that.

DOGS or CATS: Neither- I love Aodh's cat but that's it! I prefer other types of pet like rats and turtles

DREAM TRIP: Japan! I've been to Tokyo once but it's gonna be my dream trip forever.

NUMBER OF BLANKETS: I like to feel warm and soft when I sleep so... As much as the cold let me have!

RANDOM FACT: The scar on my eyebrow makes it kind of wiggly when I raise it, see? It's from a skateboard incident I had when I was eleven. My mom confiscated it for two months saying I would never skate again so I started rollerblading! That's how i got the scar on my knee.

Remember the splatoons? Yeah. Some are repeats but I don’t care. Some of the drawings are kinda rough because the paper’s texture is worse on one side for whatever reason. Also, AU stuff below, no way. I spoke of Rifftide once, this is pre-Rifftide-Rifftide.

Did you know Rifftide is the only universe in which Hachikō gets any form of memory back? He gets a full-on identity crisis about it, as I’m sure anyone in his situation would. The comic thing is kinda over-the top and cringe but oh well. Dude’s unsure who he is anymore, and no matter what he goes with it’s never gonna be quite right, there’s still the memories that try and guide. (this is not intended to be any sort of offensive thing, I apologize if it comes across that way)

I also drew more scugs because I have a problem. At first I drew a spearmaster-hunter-fusion-thing, but then that spiraled into making a prototype scugsona who just seems to be saintmaster with hidden hunter bits.

This blog has focused a lot on character names in the past, but have you ever wondered about how the most important name in the series came to be?

In 1985, brothers Dene and Simon Carter had an idea for a game.

After the brothers (Big Blue Box) joined forces with Peter Molyneux (Bullfrog Productions) "The Game" started being referred jokingly to as "Thingy", and even as "Jesus 2000".

With the founding of Lionhead Studios, the ideas of the player changing the world around them with their choices solidified into a project called "Wishworld", a strategy game set into an Academy for wizards. The same project's name was later changed in 1999 to "Godslayer" and later simply referred to as "Heroes".

In 2000, Peter Molyneux suggested the project focused on one single wizard, affecting and changing the world through his choices, and renamed it "Merlin".

In 2001, the team ideas and concept of morality and choice based story progression had solidified in "Project EGO".

Finally, in 2004, the "Fable" we now know and love was released!

I was just randomly hanging out on tumblr and an even more random question popped into my head for the Changeling boys + Nora, Spencer, and Ally if you can- (Because I have yet to play Gilded Shadows) I'm curious- Do they have a favorite type of flower? If so, do they prefer a specific type of color over the others?

I don't really have favourite flowers for them (realistically most of them probably know nothing about flowers and would awkwardly say they like daisies.)

I always have mixed feelings about how to approach asks about random trivia (such as favourites like this).

Sometimes I have obscure trivia about characters (like favourite ice cream or flowers) but if I'm being realistic - a lot of times I just don't. It's not relevant to the story and most of my character development focus is in regards to what I need to develop for story purposes. With certain characters - like Ewan - I can surmise that he probably has an innate love for some kind of Faerie flower - like bluebells.

And Nora probably likes something like snowdrops. Marc seems like a 'rose' kind of guy.

But for characters like Elliot or Danny, anything you come up with is just as valid as whatever I come up with (and even if I made up an answer on the spot right now I wouldn't remember it later ha ha). I mean, Elliot probably would awkwardly say 'daisies' because it's the only flower he can think of on the spot. 🤣🤣 I don't think it's really his favourite though.

It's probably not a satisfactory answer but at some point I realised it's more honest of me to encourage people to head canon these things for themselves rather than make something up on the spot and randomly declare it as canon. 💖💖

Another fear Katya has are needles, doctors and medical treatments in general due to all the experiments and tests done on her. For this reason, she refuses to go to the doctor no matter how badly injured or sick she is and prefers to deal with it alone. Steve always has to drag her to her doctor's appointment whenever she needs to go, making sure she doesn't put up a fight with the doctor or that she runs away.

Silverfall actually has three siblings - Dropdash, Flamewire, and Goldrake. He lost contact with them a very long time ago, but he certainly missed them a lot. It's why he loved lavender so much. Lavender was always Goldrake's favorite smell, and he had very fond memories of them bickering over their favorite smells (though Dropdash would always argue that all flowers smell awful).

It’s been quite a while since I, the admin, last posted on this blog... but ever since I heard Shroob laughter in one of my sound file folders while randomly listening to it recently, BOOM! I suddenly started hyperfixating on Shroobs again, which led to the following. ;)

Last week, I published a new fanfic that features Shroobs! One con about it is that it’s not at all related to Successfully Shroobified, but it does, however, feature some of its characters (such as the Sakamoto twins) as extras or small roles! You can click here to read the fanfic, but be wary as it contains spoilers for both Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story. Said fic describes how the remaining Shroobs ended up in the cryogenic chamber in Bowser’s Castle in Bowser’s Inside Story.

And with that, I’d also like to introduce you to three new characters, who are also the protagonist and deuteragonists of said fanfic! :)

(Todd has yet to know us better, but he doesn’t mind me interpreting his sign language now. Even if it’s Shroob sign language, I still understand it quite well.

Todd is Nita’s best friend, and he has known them ever since they were both aged 2. Back then at the playgroup, the majority of the other toddlers considered Todd an oddball, except for Nita, who felt bad for nobody choosing to play with him, gradually resulting in the two of them becoming (and still remaining) best friends to this day and protecting one another from even the worst of harm.

As soon as Todd graduated from high school, he did not bother to enroll college or the university and immediately joined the cooking team in Shroob Castle, where he was quickly proven to be a very skilled self-taught cook, judging from the fact that the other cooks and (pastry) chefs and even the two Shroob princesses immediately praised him for his artisan dishes, which they still continue to do nowadays. Todd is still in training, but he has a very good focus once he knows what to do in the kitchen.

Did you know that Pit, the youngest servant in Shroob Castle, is Todd’s youngest paternal cousin? On the contrary, he is also their oldest cousin. In fact, the entire Benningwater family (Todd’s father, Kevyn, has 9 younger siblings, of whom his youngest, Olimarina, is Pit’s mother) has been born and raised in Shroob Castle, where the vast majority of them now works under the Shroob princesses’ wings as several occupations. It surely does run in the family, huh?)

what is the town that Mochi and Slick are from like?

Whilst I never decided on an exact, precise location of where it would be, but I imagined the size and climate of it. Just for a vague idea, I’m assuming they’d be somewhere on this bit of peninsula.

Arrecife (arr-ah-see-fay) is a small suburban town plopped somewhere in the desert scrubs. It’s small enough for basically anyone to know each other but large enough to have people traveling stop by for a short bit of time. It’s not super exciting, but people pass through it while on long trips to the larger cities dotted around it. Lots is mom-and-pop shops, but also larger franchises sprinkled everywhere.

Weather is quite unpleasant, but that’s probably why the housing is cheap. It’s hot, humid, and devoid of rain, however that doesn’t stop the children from playing outside. Everyone from the area has some form of tan, just because of the sheer amount of sun. Winter brings more pleasant weather, sometimes rain. Slick and Mochi were surprised by how much cooler Inkadia was in comparison, let alone how it actually rained and snowed. Sometimes the two joke about people from outside Arrecife would think it’s a fire pit, but it just means the two are comfortable while everyone else is dying from the heat. Old, sloppy art:
