Sometimes making fun of your oppressors is a much cheaper alternative to therapy ;)

As punishment the nuns at the orphanage would make Chase and Connor clean and organize the attic. When really half of the time they would just fuck off and be themselves and Chase would dress up as one of the nuns to make fun of them to make Connor laugh.

The spider in the corner is named Samuel and he is their look out.

I do! I have so much to say about them! But people don't really ask about my ocs or the universe that they're in. And I don't have a lot of exposure for my ocs as most people do. 😔

Tabby Anderson HCs

-the middle child of two brothers

-tomboy

-she used to be ambidextrous before she got her paralyzed left hand

-had a complicated frenemies with benefits relationship with Horatio Galloway after their little thing after the 7th grade

-because Tabby talks fast naturally she can do the fast parts of rap songs

-its her proudest achievement

-shes a jack of many but an ace of none

-she absolutely adores children because of her little brother

-she remembers what it was like being a kid being not wanted anywhere pawned off from one adult to another being used and abused because the adults could and there was nothing she could do about it.

-she refuses to be like her stepdad. So she has the compassion masked as spite for the kids. She will do everything in her power to protect, defend and stand up for them.

-i love her so much I'm actually obsessed with her and making her an original character for a dark cirque book that I'm currently writing

-adhd ridden and autistic

-always wanted to be a doctor since she was 8

-favorite shows are doctor who and the good doctor

-went to the same college as EJ, Smiley and locklear

-they became known as the college gang

-amelia and Smiley never officially dated but it was clear that they were a thing to the rest of the college

-EJ was her adopted son

-she joined a medical cult many years later after college

-in hopes to get her own practice and medical license back

What was the most meaningful relationship (platonic or romantic) your character has had with another person? Why was it so meaningful? Ultimately, what happens to this relationship?

Tabby

Michael: her step-dad. The man who raised her when no one else would. Her first real friend and the only one she came to respect on her own without being forced too. Set up her core foundation of who she was today and raised to become what she is now. The main source of her trauma. Very estranged now.

Adam: Her baby brother her pride and joy. She was forced to raise him at 9 since he was born. He is her living proof that she is not a monster and a bad person contrary to her step dad's belief. For how can someone so bad raise someone so good? Eventually they come back into each other's lives.

Horatio: The first person she ever met at Rosewood. became rivals and became each others equals. Also a main source of trauma and the bane of her existence. Taught her heart break and betrayal and that there is more than meets the eye. How to humanize people. That you can't save everyone if they don't want to be saved. They become sworn enemies again.

Autumn: Her best friend. Her second in command. her big sister. her human diary. Her other half. Pick one and go with it. The person who taught her what love, home, understanding and acceptance was. She balanced out Tabby's darker tendencies from her step dad. Would become the basis for what moral compass she has. Unfortunately death has kept them apart.

Toby: The boy who unknowingly saved her in more ways than one.Her savior and they one she grew to fall l in love with. Taught her that a second chance comes with everything, There is more to life than being a proxy and that you have relatively good people around you if you look hard enough. I can't give spoilers for ERHIT but it's becoming something worth while.

Chase:

Connor: the boy who was by his side since day 1 in the orphanage. His best friend and soul mate. He showed him that he wasn't a monster and not to fear him. He never had that before in his life. For once he had something to fight for. Unfortunately due to trauma and tragic events they're both dead and become very estranged.

Sister Mary-Angela: the nun that took care of him and Connor. The seemingly only good one in that place. She gave them a mother figure that they both could trust and rely on. Unfortunately she dies for them and they both mourn her greatly.

Connor:

Chase: his first real friend at the orphanage and his first real love. He never strayed too far from his side and fought for him. They're unfortunately very estranged now.

Sister Mary-Angela: same as chase up above

Juliet:

Louisa Monroe: her mother and one of the few family members she was close to. Definitely a mommy's girl. Gave her the doll that looks just like her and the only thing that she has left of her mom. One day she walked out on them and never came back. Needless to say I think they would be very estranged.

Evan Monroe: her older brother by 4 years. The second one she was closest to after their mother left. Only for a bit of course. Until their step mother came into the picture and began to turn on her. Needless to say they hate each other.

Fallax: a friend. A demon who haunts the abandoned carnival grounds that Evan forces juliet to explore every night. Her first true friend and savior from her broken home. They're relationship is very good very much a guardian/mentor/apprentice type of relationship.

Robbecca:

Tbh I haven't done enough development for her to answer that question.

Amelia:

The college gangTM (Smiley, EJ, and Locklear): her friend group all throughout college and med school. EJ was the baby of the group. Locklear was an honorary member, and Smiley was her first love, although they were never officially together. They helped each other grow and develop. Until the death of EJ and then the group became distant and disolved. They were very estranged for a while after getting the group together in nearly 20+ years, but they're currently working on mending their relationship with each other. It's not perfect buy its a work in progress.

Anna: her lifeboat and savior after the group. Was there when she lost her medical license and got her in the medical cult to get it back. She turned out to be a back stabbing bitch so amelia killed her.

The cult: her one hope to getting her medical license back. She never truly belonged there but it was all she got left. Eventually she got out by killing all of them.

25: How do they handle being complimented?

Tabby: she would be a blushing mess and giggling like a school girl and looking down all bashful like. Please compliment her she needs it

Chase: he would be beet red but will just wave your compliment away and brush it off. But he would still think about it.

Connor: he would be all Smiley and bubbly and say thank you and you just made his entire month

Juliet: she would nod her head and say thank you I know and walk away while smiling.

Robbecca: she would be confused as to why you're giving her compliments as she doesn't see them herself but she'll give you a confused thank you because it's the polite thing to say.

Amelia: and even more confused thank you. Or infodump you on the thing she's being complimented on. It's a lottery with her.

Is trust something that comes easily for your character? What’s required to break their trust? Has there been a time when their trust was broken? What were the repercussions of this event?

*deep inhale*

Tabby: This girl has severe trust issues due to her gift of intuition and being constantly being betrayed by every adult in her life especially Adult males. It took her best friend Autumn 5 years to gain her full trust. Very little is required to break it. One lie is all that it takes for her. There has been plenty of times where her trust was broken but the repercussions are that she’ll never ever trust another adult male again. or adults in general.

Chase: Trust doesn’t come easily to him either. He’s naturally suspicious and cynical of everything around him. An act of betrayal like when Connor told the nun that they both trusted about what Chase truly was and about his powers at the home and then the nun killed him. That was the first and last time their trust has been broken. The repercussions of that are that he’s never trusting nor forgiving Connor or anyone ever again.

Connor: He’s very trusting and friendly. It doesn’t take much to gain his trust. Like with Chase an act of betrayal will cause them to lose their trust. There was a time where their trust was broken and the repercussions of that are that he’ll never get his best friend back ever again.

Juliet: She’s slightly skeptical and wary due to her stepmother. But she’s still a child so she’s impressionable. Her trust can be gained with a little bit of work. Abandonment will cause them to lose their trust. There has been a time when their trust was broken when her real mother left and her family sucked up to her stepmother instead of protecting her. The repercussions of that were that she was left utterly confused, hateful, fearful, and alone.

Amelia: This woman is naive and friendly her trust is easily gained and it takes a lot to break her trust. When she realizes that people are against her is when she loses her trust. There has been a time where her trust was lost when she realized that she was led to about getting her license back, her name restored and cleared, and her own practice and she was being used as a humiliation for the cult that she was in. The repercussions of that were her dying.

Hello again!

Tabby: Adam, small children, cats, and her friends that kept her grounded is what makes her soft. She has such a strong mother/older sibling instinct and she just sees the untainted humanity in the children. It shows her that humanity is not an entire lost cause. Cats are cuter and better than real people. Their purring mends her broken soul. And her friends balanced out her shitty home life and made her more human. They brought out the best in her.

Chase: connor makes him go soft. He doesn't know anything else.

Connor: Chase. He will always forgive and stay by chase. They are each other's kryptonite.

Robbeca: her robots and dogs

Juliet: dolls. Specifically her baby doll lulu.

Amelia: just about anything. Shes not a bad person she doesn't have a rough exterior

Hi again!

Tabby: despite her gruff exterior shes a person who enjoys the simple things in life. Give her food or a book to read and shes more likely to be pleasant and befriend you. She also enjoys a deep honest conversation.

Chase: nothing pleases him. Hes very hard to please. Hes too grumpy that. Other than being left alone

Connor: the complete opposite of chase. Seriously all you have to do is look his way with a kind smile and hes all smiles and giggles for the week. Hell say hi or wave to him and make his whole month. It doesn't take much to make him happy

Juliet: if you give her the time of day to play tea party or dress up with her shes very happy. Or compliment her on her style or her doll lulu and shes also very happy too.

Robbecca: if you start a conversation about robots and how amazing hers are you have a chance of being spared and possibly gaining a weird crazy friend. It's not often that someone comes along and shares the same interests as her. She's lonely and won't let that opportunity to go to waste.

Amelia: let her info dump you as her brain goes a mile a minute with her ADHD. And shes happy. She'll consider you a friend.

(Thank you for this I need this today because I'm sick

Tabby: because Tabby doesn't go outside much since shes been locked in an apartment for 10 years of her life. She occasionally gets allergies. But its not a normal occurrence. All she has to do is take some medicine.

Chase: hes a demon he doesn't get sick

Connor: hes a ghost so mortal allergies don't effect him

Robbecca: shes immuno compromised so allergies are really bad for her. She gets really sick so she's out of commission for a week at least

Juliet: she just gets the sniffles and runny nose. All she has to do is take some medicine and she's back out playing outside

Amelia: none.

Hello its always good to hear from you!

Tabby: it all depends on who you ask. She had a colorful reputation at Rosewood Prep so half of the school hated her and so did her stepdad. But I can definitely say who hates her the most is Horatio Galloway. Tabby is more than aware that he hates her with the continous attempted murders and the fact that he killed all of her friends. The feeling is very mutual.

Chase: Connor. That lying betraying bastard. Chase made damn sure that hes fully aware that he hates him. But he knows how connor works and he knows damn well that connor doesn't hate him back

Connor: this ray of sunshine doesn't have a hateful bone in his body.

Juliet: her stepmother. Her brother comes a close second but she can never truly hate him. It's truly that vixen of a women's fault. Oh they have definitely made it known to each other that neither of them are welcomed there. The feelings are mutual

Robbecca: her abusive alcoholic father. He wanted nothing to do with her when she was born and was expecting her to die at 6 (muscular dystrophy but she's managing to live 10 years so far past her life expectancy). But when she didn't die it just made him resentful even more. Well let's just say that when she butchered him up and turned him into one of her robots I'd say that the feeling is pretty mutual.

Amelia: shes like connor. She doesn't have a hateful bone in her body. Even for the cult members that tortured her. Shes grown to forgive them.

Tabby: out of her biological family. Her little brother is the only one she considers family now since her found friend family is dead and she refuses to accept any of the proxies in her group if she could even call it that as friends let alone family in fear of replacing and forgetting about her friends. She loves Adam, her little brother the most because she raised him. And hes a good nice boy with a bright future and normal life ahead of him. That means she did a good job. She wouldn't know what she would do if Adam was drawn into the proxy lifestyle...

Chase: Connor. Even though he betrayed him he still considers connor family despite everything. They grew up together in the home for wayward children so all they had was each other. It's hard to let go of something like that.

Connor: Chase. Same reasons as above. He refuses to move on and let go.

Robbecca: no one from her past and present life that she could recall of.

Juliet: oddly enough. Her brother Evan. Despite all the shit hes put her through just to get on their stepmothers good side. That's still her brother. The one that she was closest too. And like always she'll swoop in to save him time and time again. She still loves him because she misses him and misses how things used to be.

Amelia: it used to be the cult members and Anna. Because they accepted her and gave her a sense of belonging even if it was fake. That's why she stayed there for the longest time.

Are there any people in your character's life that aren't a good influence? Do they have any unhealthy relationships, either currently or in the past? How have these destructive relationships affected them?

Tabby: her stepdad is the main bad influence on her life and they had a hella toxic relationship. Her stepdad is also the one who's raised her. He set up the core foundation of her entire being. She struggles with her self worth and relationships with adult males. She struggles with the philosophies that were beaten into her that would make her rotten to the core. Yet despite all that she can never truly hate him fully.

Chase: Connor and his cruel way of treating him. Yes he knows its cruel but he just can't forgive him. It makes him feel guilty but he doesn't know how to forgive.

Connor: Chase and his co dependency on him. Hes afraid to let go because he doesn't know anything else. They grew up with each other. And he so desperately wants his forgiveness. Thus leading him to still stay with him and inability to move on.

Robbecca: her father. But that was in the past and she doesn't really think that he effected her in any way.

Juliet: her stepmother. Shes not associated with her now. But at the time it made her hateful, angry and lonely and constantly searching for a mother figure.

Amelia: her friend Anna and in the cult members. Cults are very toxic and Anna was just bossy and controlling and abusive. This led to Amelia being more flaky than what she already is.

Tabby: she used to play the clarinet back in the 5th grade before she gave it up after a month

Chase: he sneezes like a bunny.

Connor: he's been jokingly called a vampire because his skin and hair sparkle in the sun for some reason

Juliet: has the nickname skittles because of how colorful she dresses. Although its not something that she likes to go by

Robbecca: has attempted to make the animatronics from fnaf but failed miserably

Amelia: can quote all of modern and the majority of doctor who episodes by heart

What skill comes easiest to your character? Why is this skill so easy? Did they have to work to become good at this skill, or is it an intrinsic talent?

I love this question!

Tabby: surviving and doing what she thinks is right are a few skills that comes the easiest to Tabby. Tabby has always had a vicious spiteful streak so she'll spite anything that gets in her way including the odds of death at Rosewood, home and her proxy life. Not necessarily Tabby has always been ready to throw herself into the line fire hence when she knew that her babysitter and their friends were in danger she did not hesitate to sneak down there and see if she could do something about it. Shes a natural born leader. Although finding an efficient way to fight to survive took a while to develop.

Chase: lying. It comes easy to him because as long as you make somewhat believable and have confidence and conviction in what you're saying then no one will really question you. He's had to work at this talent but it was only to protect himself and Connor

Connor: hes good at sneaking around and stealing stuff. It comes easy to him because he can charm his way out of just about anything. He'll rob you blind and you'll never even know. He had to work at it but he did it so he could provide for Chase growing up and feed him to help him out with his growth spurt due to his demonic side.

Robbecca: robotics. This girl as a knack for those. Her brain is just wired differently so no she didn't really have to work hard on that skill and its more of an intrinsic talent.

Juliet: sewing and mending stuff. It comes easy to her because if something is broken then it should be fixed to put the wrong things back to right. Shes had to work at it because shes young and still learning. Its something that her mother used to do all the time for her and it makes her feel closer to her and the closest thing shes come to mending her own broken heart

Amelia: the ability to help others. It doesn't have to be taught to her like it does with some people. To her if someone needs help and you're in the position to do so why wouldn't you? Its just logic to her. Its just an intrinsic talent to her

What is the funniest/most light-hearted memory your character has? How do they feel about this memory now (still funny, bittersweet, etc.)?

Ah some good old fluff.

Tabby: Tabby's absolute favorite memory is when she was 4 and her stepdad was babysitting her. This before he left and then came back. Back when they were best friends. It was during the night where a meteor shower was taking place and he was upset to say the least that he had to miss it. Tabby has always had a hard time sleeping so she was up and got out of bed and walked over to her stepdad and said that she couldn't sleep. So he had an idea and he brought her to the meteor shower with him. Since Tabby couldn't sleep anyways and that way he could still watch the meteor shower and babysit Tabby. He explained to her how meteors are formed and where they come from and he said her favorite thing ever to her. "The universe was made to be seen by her eyes". And then she remembers counting how many she saw before drifting off to sleep safe and sound in his arms. It brings a sense of nostalgia and sadness to her everytime she thinks about it knowing that she can never go back to what it once was but shes happy that it happened.

Chase: when he and connor were growing up in the orphanage there used to be a clearing in the woods surrounding the place not too far in. They would spend their entire time there in the summers and fall. They would play pretend and go on adventures or they'd just talk about what they thought of life at the time or they'd talk about their hopes and dreams for the future. It brings a slight smile to his usually stoic face everytime he thinks about it. It reminds him of a time where he could forget his demonic qualities and be a normal boy. Where they could just be Chase and Connor. Talking about their plans and dreaming about the future

Connor: they had an attic in the orphanage where he and Chase used to get sent up to clean and organize there as punishment after a few whippings. And you can guess they got sent there a lot. There were lots of neat antiques up there and dress up clothes from other kids before them. Connor was not shy about dressing up and doing bad impressions of the nuns and other kids there making fun of them. It never failed to make Chase smile and laugh. He smiles sadly everytime he thinks about it because it reminds him of a much more simpler time where not everything was bad for very long and if he got chase to laugh after that was good enough for him. Now he'd do anything to make Chase smile and laugh again

Robbecca: she would skip school constantly because she was way too smart for the school work there and she go to the mechanic shop where they fixed cars. Robbecca has always had a knack for robotics so she figured that a car was close enough to a robot. She would hide up in the loft out of sight where they didn't know she was there and she just watch them work in fascination. When she got older she learned to hack into their systems and pulled harmless pranks on them. She chuckles fondly everytime she thinks of it. It goes to show she was much to clever for her own good even back then.

Juliet: her favorite memory is when shortly her mother left her for good and she started to wait outside all day every day for her to return. Her older brother, Evan, at the time used to sit out and wait for their mother to come home with her. They used to sing songs together to pass the time. Evan was hitting his emo phase so of course he taught her the classic bands and songs. And they would sing together at the top of their lungs with lots of water by their sides. Juliet always smiles at the memory because it reminded her of a time of hope and when she thought for certain that her big brother would stick by her side no matter what.

Amelia: her favorite memory is when she was in college and it was a day before winter break. They already called it a snow day so no classes that day at all. She and her small group of friends got the brilliant idea to start a snowball fight and pretty soon the entire student body that was there were involved. There were forts and everything. Kids that normally didn't hang or even hated each other banded together to take the other team down. Amelia laughs wholeheartedly at the memory. It reminds her that its possible for everyone to all come together.
