Little do people know college libraries are quieter the higher up you go in floors, not because of a need for different ambient sounds, but because the more powerful of a wizard you are the higher you’re permitted. Ground floor, you’re shouting whatever spell you can. Top floor, it’s silent, every spell is psychic. The roof is limited to those who can pass the alarm system without managing to trip it.

It angers me that salt doesn’t just “dissolve” into water to become an aqueous solution but literally breaks apart into its ions. And it has the audacity to go through the reverse reaction and form as cute little crystals once the water evaporates away.
