I really love how some double life people decide that soulbound pairs share injuries, not just damage, because it means that scar really went ‘wow my eye hurts and is bleeding ig’ and then looked over at grian and went this guy can’t possibly be my soulbound while acknowledging that they had the exact same injury.
Like, it’s not that he only glanced at grian, he CANONICALLY NOTICES AND COMMENTS ON GRIAN HAVING AN ARROW IN HIS EYE.
and with this headcanon he’s looking at the most obvious sign ever, LITERALLY THE UNIVERSE POINTING A BIG BLINKING BILBOARD SAYING ‘THIS GUY IS YOUR SOULMATE’ AND HE GOES ‘hmm. that’s a weird coincidence. really fun idea to build over the outpost tho...’

My biggest takeaway from ff16 is that this writer should never be allowed to touch a woman ever again.
Important female characters are all either over the top ridiculously stupid evil, or basically a sad sexy lamp - and both are ultimately just a means to including rape in the story. Because you know. This is dangerous medieval magic Europe, where every girl got raped all the time!
The M rating on this game is actively hurting it.

a lot of implausible, off-the-wall shit goes down in AA6 (not all of which is the good flavor of AA ridiculousness but like yes ok, that’s why we’re here) but one thing you absolutely cannot convince me of is that any of these motherfuckers understand anything about civil property disputes
phoenix wright telling the foreign courtroom he just broke into that he has “more than 10 years of experience” (as if he did not spend 7 of those years not practicing because he was, in fact, disbarred for fraud, the exact thing Khura’in’s laws purport to prevent), and expecting that to convince the judge of the trial he is interrupting to let him practice in a country he is not licensed in, has been present in for like an hour and a half, and knows exactly 0 laws of— fine.
phoenix wright reading and executing a contract? no. leave. that man knows one (1) law, and it’s that you’re not allowed to kill people. let go and move on.
