It was her brother that had found the bakery, and her brother who had first spotted the shy young girl kneading bread behind the counter.

“She’s watching you again.” Lyon grinned, nudging Chelia suggestively, and even through her blush she managed to roll her eyes at her brother.

Since being introduced to the bakery, Chelia had visited on her own many times to read, eat cake, and hopefully catch a glimpse of the blue-haired girl who worked there, but every time Chelia tried to instigate a conversation the other girl ran away. It hurt, and yet she kept coming back, could not even pretend to stay away.

“Leave her alone.” Her brother’s boyfriend rested his hand on her arm from across the table. Jellal was a serious man of few words, which helped since Chelia knew that her brother always had plenty to say. “You have to trust the process, Chelia. Believe in beginnings.”

Before Chelia could reply, a girl of around her age approached their table. She had wavy white hair and wore an adorable headband decorated with cat ears, but her eyes were pulled down in a scowl.

“This is for you.” She threw a plate down in front of Chelia before turning to point at the blue-haired girl peering from behind the counter. “Wendy made them especially. Enjoy.”

At the mere mention of her name, Wendy helped and scuttled away into the back of the shop. With a sigh the other girl followed, and Chelia was left stunned and confused, staring at a plate of food which she had not ordered. There were pancakes cut into the shape of hearts, smothered in butter and syrup and sprinkles. With there only being enough for one portion, the intent was clear. As Lyon began to rant about the blossoming of first love, Chelia tuned him out and focused on Jellal’s advice instead. She would trust the process, follow this road until the end, and hoped that Wendy’s kisses were as sweet as the pancakes she had made.

Chendy Appreciation

Okay, so I have FINALLY decided to read the rest of the Fairy Tail manga now that the anime’s return has been announced. And OMG the Lamia Scale Arc with NaLu looking for Wendy is sooo good!

I’m really beginning to ship Chendy after reading it, because, seriously...

They are so freaking cute! 😍😍

Even as just friends, they have something so beautiful and sweet going on. I am in love with both these characters after reading this arc.

Also, can I point out that Lyon just got super hotter here? I thought he was handsome before, but after reading these chapters, I was just fangirling everytime he showed up.

1. Why is Greige in heaven ? He isn’t dead ? Does that mean he’s in heaven waiting to be born ? If so does that mean they only have 1 baby ?

We created the @fairytailevents blog to be a neutral space to promote fandom events. Our goal was to help the fandom thrive by creating a place where fans could easily see what was going on at any given time. We encourage ship weeks, gen events, exchanges, big bangs, zines, interest checks or any other type of event to get in touch with us so that we can help get the word out to those who are interested and hopefully get as many eyes on your event as possible. This has worked fairly well for the past three years.

However, given some interactions that have been going around as of late on both Tumblr and Twitter, we'd like to remind everyone that we will not promote any event that encourages the shipping of blood relatives (incest) or inappropriate shipping of minors (pedophilia).

So what do we mean by pedophilia and incest?

Ships that would fall under the pedophilia umbrella: Any ship depicting a romantic or sexual relationship between [Wendy, Romeo, Chelia, Asuka, Zera, Nashi, Greige or any other minor] and an adult. Pretty much any ship that would have to age one character up for it to be considered legal.

As far as incestuous relationships go, only those characters that are related by blood fall under this umbrella: Simon x Kagura, Natsu x Zeref, any combination of the Strauss siblings, or any other siblings I might have forgotten, would be considered incest.

Sting x Rogue or Lyon x Gray, for example, would not, regardless of your personal preferences.

The names listed are only examples. Any other character relationships that fall under this description count as well.

We understand people are free to ship whatever they want and that's fine, but it is our policy that both this blog and our event blog @ftguildevents will not include this type of content.
