Okay so about MatPats Theory,

-Spoiler warning-

I think he got most details correct. After all most of us did get the hint that Ms. Whitacare has a striking similarity to Celine.

I believe he did get a few tiny things wrong that I will point out here:

It isn't just the old Mark that is Actor Mark. (After all there is an ending that shows Actor "behind the scenes") Which seems to show us that he really is every Mark... he is an actor after all.

In Who killed Markiplier at the very end when Darkiplier looks in the mirror there is still the key detail that... when he walks away... we are still there. We dont move. He does. Which yes could suggest that we are playing as him, but it gets pointed out again and again not just in universe but also on Mark's explanation streams, that we are a character. "Y/N" is a character in universe.

So while I think the Hero-Villain dynamic he pointed out is interesting, And that the "We were Dark all along" could be a possible plot twist, I dont think this is the only way this could go...

After all ISWM is a direct continuation to Adwm and Ahwm. Where Dark and Will show up SEPERATE from us.

But considering the code MatPat did read out (with the 7 Gods) I think this does mean we are straight on the ramp to a showdown of sorts.

Personally I'd love to see Actor have to face the consequences of his actions and come to terms with the fact that he DID hurt people... I do wonder if the regret he shows is just an act tho.

That does lead me to wonder what Celine's Ms. Whitacare's line was about then...

"Do you even know who you are?"

Could it be... are we possessed by the evil house entity?! Is that why Mark thinks we're the villain? IS THAT WHY DARK WANTS OUR SOUL?!

but then where does Damien fit into all of this. Especially since Mark has been teasing his phrase of "Life is ours to choose" from "Hunie Pop" to "Try not to crash simulator"

.....Aaaargh we will have to wait and see I guess.....

The animatic not that great but it took me two days to complete it!

I tried to make it like Y/N point of view when she finds out the truth of Mark’s intentions and the truth about him and the past.

I called this animatic “Y/N.exe has been deleted” Y/N basically removed herself from Mark’s story and become her true self again.

The Hamilton idea is from @chelseareferenced it is so accurate and I wanted to animate Y/N singing this.

The name Ruthanne or Ruth means “Compassionate friend” it is Y/N true identity and I like that name :)

She’s not an OC or a persona, this is just how I see Y/N outside of Actor Mark’s game.

Ruth is an reincarnation of Damien’s lover name Ruthanne ( the seven deadly sins anime inspired me) they are both the same but not really.

Headcanon: I see y/n role is the force love interest of markiplier and wears a mask covering her true self and is “sleeping” she needs to wake up.

Also, this is fanmade not canon to Markiplier story and this animatic is for the fan fiction series “Yandere! Actor Mark x reader X Darkiplier” I’m hoping someone will write and the story and Ruthanne is my own Interpretation of Y/N.

Response to the post about why I fell for Seteth: I think it was because we had to actually earn a friendship with him. He didn't look at us a say "oh hey I love this rando off the streets" we had to earn his trust and seeing him open up to us and actually try to help us made me love him. That’s a really good point tbh. Earning a friendship (with an emphasis on earning... you can’t spell yearning without it) and having to actually build a relationship off of the ground with someone is really rare in romantic media.

In this I did an animatic of First Burn of Y/n in the Markiplier TV with my story in it.

This is another animatic that I did for the Hamilton AU idea from @chelseareferenced

This is Ruth (Y/n) singing to Mark confronting him, this took awhile to get to animating 👀👀

I feel like in general Y/n would feel this way if they found out the Dark truth behind all of this that Mark has put them through and the poor souls that are trapped in the mansion.

I tried to put a lot of anger emotion into the animation as best as possible, I put a little idea into the animation.

The idea of “Y/n” being the predecessor of the other viewers while we or the viewers are the successors and this would include us and my OC Alice who plays a role into the Markiplier TV universe.

By “Predecessor” and “Successors” in this way at least, that what Y/n was and us as to being Mark companion and love interest.

Only Alice and Y/n know the Dark truth while the viewers are kept in the dark never knowing Mark is the true monster in the series.

Mark wants to keep the viewers to himself and make them think everything is okay and Dark and the other Egos are the Bad versions of “himself”.

“The alter Egos are trying to “take them away” and “take over the channel”. this is clearly far from, the truth ( Dark just wants to make Mark suffer and kill him)

I hope once I get the Markiplier TV comic in works, the comic will explain more on the story I want to do with Alice and Ruth (Y/n) with their relationships as individuals.

Alice and Ruth are the only characters for now, without being “Y/n” unlike the viewers are called that since Alice and Ruth woke up and realized the Dark truth.
