Restless Rewatch: The Untamed, Episode 35 part two
(Masterpost) (Pinboard) (whole thing on AO3)
Tumblr media
Warning! Spoilers for All 50 Episodes!
Perfect Date, Continued
Lan Wangji begins his day pondering an ancient philosophical question: If your crush happens to sleep over on your first date, whether in your bed or just crashing on the couch, and he doesn’t leave in the morning, are you still on your first date? Or is it your second date? He would ask Lan Xichen but the one time he asked Lan Xichen “is there a Lan rule book for dating,” Lan Xichen said “there are no set rules in this world” and wandered off to go fuck his ex’s ex.
Either way, Lan Wangji is pretty sure it’s important to show an in interest in your date’s hobbies. Wei Wuxian’s favorite hobby is desecrating burial places, so Lan Wangji takes him back to the Nie tomb to see what sort of fun they can have there.
Tumblr media
This time their stroll through the woods isn’t spoiled by any irritating dogs or nephews.
Dig
When they arrive, they find Nie Huaisang directing a team of dudes to close up the wall where they previously rescued Jin Ling.
Tumblr media
It’s good that these guys aren’t using any mortar, since Lan Wangji wants to fuck up this wall with his sword.
Tumblr media
He strikes the wall and it collapses towards him, not away, because he’s been watching Three-Body and has decided physics isn’t real.
(More after the cut!)
Tumblr media
Inside the wall are these three objects, put there by a props crew that has decided anatomy isn’t real. Nie Huaisang isn’t too happy about the digging, and Wei Wuxian puts an arm around him in a friendly manner to console him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lan Wangji notices this and immediately summons Wei Wuxian to his side, handing him Bichen and telling him to dig, in a totally hot unnecessary display of possessive dominance.
Tumblr media
Velociraptor mode unlocked
Wei Wuxian’s not complaining, mind you.

Wise Production Decisions
While Wei Wuxian examines these ostensibly human skeletons to determine how their bones are able to stay assembled without any connective tissue, let’s take a moment to contemplate one of the major changes between Mo Dao Zu Shi, the book, and Chen Qing Ling, the show.
Tumblr media
In the novel, donghua, and manga, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian road-trip together not in pursuit of a sword spirit, but to collect chunks of Nie Mingjue’s dismembered corpse. Eventually it’s all put together again for the big showdown in the temple.
Tumblr media
I read an interview a while back--sorry, can’t source it at the moment--where the producer of CQL said that the reason for the change wasn’t because of censorship or the difficulty of painting swirly stuff to hide NMJ’s junk, it was because they tried various ways to do the body-part thing and “we couldn’t find a way to make it beautiful.” Considering these skeletons, and the demon hand from episode one, and the animatronic dog, let’s all thank our lucky stars that the Department of Questionable Practical Effects was not tasked with creating a walking-dead Nie Mingjue.
Sabermetrics
Having sufficiently fondled the skeletons, Wei Wuxian wants to move on to fondling the Nie sabers, and so he asks Nie Huaisang to let them open all the sarcophagi. Nie Huaisang wants to say no, but Lan Wangji, who is in charge of this date, bows at him until he has to say yes.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji’s status and reputation are so strong that Nie Huaisang can’t make a saving throw against this request, even though he’s a clan leader and Lan Wangji isn’t.
Tumblr media
This is why it’s extra-romantic that Lan Wangji later risks his reputation in front of everybody for Wei Wuxian’s sake.
Tumblr media
After opening all of the coffins up they determine that there is one saber missing. Gosh, which saber might that be? It doesn’t come to Nie Huaisang or Wei Wuxian’s mind, but Lan Wangji intones “Baxia,” and Wei Wuxian helpfully reminds us that Baxia was Nie Mingjue’s sword.
Tumblr media
Lan Wangji might not be a people person, but he remembers every sword he’s ever met, much in the way I imagine Wang Yibo remembers every dog he’s ever met.
Tumblr media
Qi Deviation
Nie Huaisang tells them about Nie Mingjue’s literally explosive qi deviation, in which he bled from his face and from several squibs stuck to his chest, followed by more exploding squibs that just produced smoke without any extra bleeding.
Tumblr media
To explain a bit, in the most lay of layperson’s terms, your qi is the energy in your body, which circulates through your meridians and, through cultivation and/or traditional medicine practices, can be directed and improved. Qi that is out of balance is bad, and can cause illness and squib explosions.
Tumblr media
Or possibly he’s just gassy
As Nie Huaisang tells it, this just up and happened, but he actually knows why and how it happened, and who did it.
Tumblr media
Second Date
After that cheery little outing, Lan Wangji figures that by now they’re definitely on their second date, so he takes Wei Wuxian into town for dinner.
Tumblr media
As they enter downtown Qinghe, Wei Wuxian briefly touches his arm, causing Lan Wangji to immediately clock that he’s hiding an injury/curse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So busted.
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian attempts to distract Lan Wangji  from his questions by making provocative curse-measuring gestures, and then offering to strip so Lan Wangji can check him it out.
Tumblr media
This is where Wei Wuxian discovers that he can’t beat Lan Wangji at gay chicken any more.
Tumblr media
Next, Wei Wuxian does this adorable walking-backwards thing, which is impractical but lets him look at Lan Wangji while he’s talking. He is just as smitten as Lan Wangji is, although he’s clearly got no idea what to do about it.
Tumblr media
They talk over some of the details of their detective work, and then Wei Wuxian tries, once again, to get Lan Wangji to tell him how he recognized him. Once again, he’s unsuccessful, as Lan Wangji tells him it’s “getting late” and heads to an inn, despite the clear daylight all over the place.
Memory Care
He’s chosen a place for dinner that they went to together, way back when they were young, because he’s heard that going to familiar places is is a good way to help your loved one who is struggling with memory impairment.
Tumblr media
They ignore their food in favor of pounding liquor (WWX) and tea (LWJ), while they openly eavesdrop on the conversation at the next table.
Tumblr media
The conversation at the next table is all about the exact thing that happened the last time they were at this inn, which leads to Lan Wangji filling Wei Wuxian in on the (apparent) fates of Xue Yang, Song Lan, and Xiao Xingchen.
By the time he remembers that trauma-dumping is best saved for a third or fourth date, he’s already telling Wei Wuxian about how the last survivor of the Chang Clan was found dead of lingchi, and that the cuts were made by Xiao Xingchen’s sword.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Realizing he’s made a tactical error in eviscerating Wei Wuxian’s happy memory of his sect uncle, Lan Wangji has to find a way to rescue this date from the cliff it’s heading over kind of like the cliff Wei Wuxian previously headed over. So he grabs Wei Wuxian’s drink and knocks it back all in one go.
Tumblr media
This delights Wei Wuxian, so the evening is back on track.

What are your top 5 television shows of all time?
I was tagged by @tragediegh, thank you! 💖
1 Hannibal (NBC)
This show is ART and POETRY™, imho one of the best shows ever made
Tumblr media
2 Interview with the Vampire (AMC)
May I just repeat the previous statement? Because that's it, the same + my favorite Ricean vampires
Tumblr media
3 Black Sails (Starz)
Acting, storytelling, drama—this show excels in all of it; it's also the perfect opposite of queerbaiting :) but let's be completely honest here, all I need is a gay captain to get obsessed with a piece of media
Tumblr media
4 The Exorcist (Fox)
Yet another brillant series cancelled mid-show, starring Ben Daniels and Alfonso Herrera, they had such chemistry 🥲
Tumblr media
5 The Untamed / Chen Qing Ling
A visually stunning, cute & heartbreaking (at the same time) Chinese BL show that somehow survived the censoring before it aired, hurray!
Tumblr media
6 Honorary mention: Torchwood (BBC)
I’m watching it right now so it has yet to pass the test of time for an all-time favorite, but it‘s certainly very entertaining, also—yet again, there's a gay captain (albeit without a ship) and that's apparently all I need
Tumblr media
Tagging @ralphlanyon, @mademoiselle-red, @argyleheir, @eclare1000 and everyone else who wants to play :) no pressure!!

The Untamed locations: The Jingshi  静室
A digital redraft of my original love-letter to Chen Qing Ling. The Quiet Room (静室/Jingshi) is Lan Wangji’s private residence in the Cloud Recesses. It is a secluded place dedicated to study and meditation, located somewhere in the Back Mountains of the Lan Sect’s domain.
The complete diagram:
Tumblr media
(Full sketch details/scene meta below.)
Part 2: The Hanshi Part 3: Lotus Pier
Prints now available at ✨ INPRNT! ✨ You can also support me on Ko-fi ☕
When I started my original sketch of the Jingshi last year, I was caught up in my feelings for episode 43, and how this home - once a place of confinement and isolation - became a place of sanctuary and shelter for Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.
The scene felt climactic in many ways for both LWJ and WWX’s personal arcs as well as their relationship, and I was moved by how such a moment of emotional clarity was ultimately so quiet, enhanced by the domestic intimacy the setting gave them.
It also felt symbolically satisfying that - as Lan Xichen had just previously explained to WWX, setting this scene in motion  - this house once belonged to LXC and LWJ’s mother. So, the echo of her character in both LWJ and WWX individually, and the parallel of her relationship with Qingheng Jun to theirs, also added a feeling of transformation and healing to the scene.
Some may find adrenaline-charged moments, like the confession at Guanyin Temple, to be more emotionally satisfying, but for me it was the evening in the Jingshi that was the emotional climax of the narrative. So I wanted to try and capture that set, to immortalise the moment and allow myself to imagine their domestic life post-canon.
Its function and design:
The Quiet Room is Lan Wangji’s private residence. Located in the Back Mountains, its thatched roof, simple latticework and singular building give the Jingshi a rustic feeling that removes it from the rest of the Cloud Recesses.
Although it takes on the role of the Gentian House and Cold Room (寒室/Hanshi)  as needed, the interior is adorned with crane imagery that fits Lan Wangji’s character.
Tumblr media
The contrast of dark wood against white gravel nonetheless carries over from the main compound as a core design element - these same elements were clearly used in the designing of the Hanshi/Yashi also.
(An interview with the chief producer reveals that the dark wood was used for the Cloud Recesses to reflect the upright manner of the Lan, tempered by the elegance of the cool blues and greens used in the set dressing - an interview used to inform this brief section on sect design in Wikipedia.)
However, unlike the Hanshi which receives official guests from other sects, the Jingshi is clearly a private residence. It is partitioned into three separate spaces.
The central space acts as a receiving area and formal study, behind which a viewing window opens out onto a small, “enclosed” garden. A scholar rock acts as the main focal point, which is very appropriate for a place of study and contemplation. (Either side of the rear window, you can see LWJ follows the Lan’s penchant for balancing tiny vases of flowers on logs.)
Tumblr media
The sleeping area is to the right of the entrance. The circular window in this Eastern wall acts as a focal point for the bed, which is where many of the camera angles focus.
Tumblr media
As such, we don’t see much of the front of the sleeping area, even though the architectural bump-out its dimensions create is a key feature of the Jingshi’s external appearance. The shot above is one of the only glimpses we get of the beautiful shelves to the right of the bed, and the scene below in which LWJ meditates over his guqin is the only clip we get of the front of this room:
Tumblr media
Special mention to the tiny vase mounted to the doorframe, and the shot of WWX’s outer robe and bracers on the stand behind LWJ in episode 42:
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, the western side of the Jingshi acts as a sitting area, complete with sunken hearth and exits to the porch and pavilion. This seems to be where LWJ relaxes the most.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He doesn’t receive any formal visitors, which aligns with the novel’s assertion that no one enters the Jingshi without LWJ’s express permission. As such, the only time we see someone received “formally” in the Jingshi is during episode 8, when Wen Chao visits Lan Xichen:
Tumblr media
As it is night-time at this point, and Lan Wangji is conveniently absent from the Cloud Recesses, we can assume the Jingshi is taking on the role of the Hanshi in this moment.
(You can read more about the dual role of the Hanshi/Yashi in part two of this series - but please note that it was actually completed before this digital redraft of the Jingshi, and so the analysis may be less nuanced.)
Special mention to the continued crane motif on the curtains that we see in this scene:
Tumblr media
A technical note on the yard layout:
Thanks to the set’s subsequent appearance in Shan He Ling episodes 20 and 21, the West elevation - and the alcove/shelf details in the bedroom - are much more accurate than my first sketch. Although the set dressing is very different in SHL, the core structure of the building stays the same:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can also see more clearly how the landscape rises to curve around the back of the structure in the background of these last shots.
(If you want to go wild with landscape analysis, this is perhaps meant to mimic the east and west ‘dragon and tiger hills’ that mark an ideal auspicious landscape in fengshui design principles. They were thought to symbolise a mother’s protection.)
Below, you can see the beautiful shelves to the right of the circular window, mostly hidden in Chen Qing Ling:
Tumblr media
Additionally, in the below .gif from SHL episode 21 you can see how the pavilion, pond and general layout of the garden match up to what we manage to glimpse of these structural elements in CQL:
Tumblr media
There shots were therefore a primary resource when it came to planning the birdseye view.
However, there was still guesswork involved when it came to sketching the pond detail beneath the moon bridge - which is perhaps a very minor landscaping detail that only I will be bothered by.
Funfact! An identical bridge and pavilion are seen at the Cold Pond in CQL episodes 6 and 33:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because of the repetition of some of these props across the sets of CQL, including things such as the Lan-style table and chairs (which I affectionately dubbed chonky pants), I felt confident in assuming they were the seating used in the Jingshi pavilion:
Tumblr media
The only thing I truly took creative liberty with (apart from adding an extra seat in the pavilion for reasons) is the path towards the pavilion in the birdseye view:
Tumblr media
In the wide shot of the pavilion and the bridge above, there seems to be a simple dirt path in the short space between the pavilion and bridge. But this felt too simplistic for the other half of the pathway, which appears grassier, and did not match the paths visible in this shot from SHL:
Tumblr media
So I used the rough stone pathways we see in the less formal areas of the Cloud Recesses as inspiration.
Tumblr media
I also did not include the rear rock garden, seen through the viewing window behind LWJ’s desk, as I haven’t really included landforms separate to the the main terrain outline.
However, there is a white wall, staggered in height, just behind the Jingshi. Its purpose is to provide a clean backdrop for the small rock garden. I have no idea of its dimensions, so I omitted it from the floorplan, but did include it in the birdseye thumbnail.
A special note on the gate:
A final detail that I absolutely need to mention is the gate. We don’t see much of it, but I think it might be one of my favourite features:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To my best but very uneducated guess, it says “堂竹影”, which roughly translates to “bamboo shadow hall”. It’s very appropriate, considering both its surroundings and the repeated bamboo motif within the Jingshi itself.
You can also see this gate in the background of this shot, in episode 33:
Tumblr media
This actually reveals a little more about where the Jingshi may be located within the Back Mountains (relative, at least, to the webseries and its sets). At this moment, Wei Wuxian is returning from a nostalgic wander around the Cloud Recesses main compound, and is about to spot some of Lan Wangji’s rabbits on his way to the Cold Pond.
Until this moment, I hadn’t realised how close the rabbits were to the Jingshi, even though it makes perfect sense considering they just roam the hillside freely. It makes me smile to think that at this moment WWX is probably echoing LWJ’s morning routine - walking through the forest, checking on his bunnies on his way to the Cold Pond.
Anyway, thank you for reading!
Please consider checking out part 2: The Hanshi, to see how LWJ’s home compares to that of his brother. The window lattices and courtyard plan were particularly fun to puzzle out, and I discovered a tiny deer ornament that (still) has my entire heart.

cpn: assorted candies 🍭🍬
Tumblr media
I had to take a sunday “rest” ( lol not really ) with the cpn post but now i’m back. for bxgs only. here’s your monday treat. let’s all work hard together this week! 💪🏻
• Hotpot - This is just clowning okay, but in one of the fan-taken shots of GG during OOL, a hotpot restaurant was there. The same place has a branch in Changsha which Web visited. CPN is that GG might have told Web about seeing hotpot place so Web tried it as well with TTXS crew.
Tumblr media
BXGs are connecting this to the well-known fake rumor of a 2019 Double 11 Hotpot Dinner. Fans are saying they ate at this same place together. I also saw comments that the both of them stayed at a different hotel from all the other participants. They seem to like doing that huh— staying in their own place.
source.
• Some clues from GG’s OOL Tencent interview.
I. The part where the Q was about Gu Wei being naughty, in reference to trying to get LZX’s attention, GG said :
There are a lot of times he will tease Lin Zhixiao. He will say something to make her angry at first, and then make her happy. Is it a childish way of chasing girls? Okay, you can see for yourself.
Does this remind you of all the teasing GG/Web did during the Untamed promo in 2019? Obviously, it worked for the two of them because look at where we are now. Not even then, the play fights and endless teasing during the 2018 filming is evidence too.
II. When the question was about how to separate yourself from an emotional scene, and by extension— a role you’re playing.
For me, how can you adjust yourself after filming? I went to sleep and finished work when the director called out to stop work, and I unloaded it.
It’s interesting to see him speak about it so plainly. It’s like him saying that when the director yells cut, he is no longer Gu Wei. However, we are all familiar with how this did not apply to Untamed. The infamous character bleed he fell into. WWX was just too close to him and I guess it’s fair to speculate that his developing relationship with his LWJ did not help.
In this interview, Q: Immediately after the filming of "Chen Qing Ling", I filmed "Zhu Xian", How did you switch roles?
Answer: In fact, it took about a month to get out of the role.
Tumblr media
even in his Elle cover back then when he was talking about his school-like ‘routine’ in Untamed set the write up said:
Everyday life is quite simple, a bit like going to school. After Xiao Zhan finished speaking, there was still a bit of nostalgia in his tone.It sounded rather sad
In this interview, towards the end too, he says the summer belongs to Untamed and WWX had such a big impact on him. 🤍 I mean, anyone who calls themselves a “fan” and keeps on implying that GG somehow wants to distance himself to being WWX clearly does not understand GG. It’s his titular role and I know the chaos that came with it but it doesn’t change the fact that GG is is no way, shape or form ashamed of having played WWX.
youtube
III. This exchange right here : 🎨
Q: Do you any special way of expressing longing?
XZ: Drawing
Q: Have you drawn anything lately?
XZ: I’ve been constantly drawing
Following the timeline of this interview, August 2020, we can see what type of “artworks” GG posted at that time. Most of them with CPN ties and others are much more emotional. This shows that he expresses himself in his art and it’s really not unreasonable to think that he hides clues in it too.
Tumblr media
This also reminds me of a fake rumor that goes:
Mr. Xiao gave Mr. Wang a small notebook. I don't know what's inside, but Mr. Xiao said it's very convenient to carry.
Popular speculation is that it has GG’s drawings in it that he gave Web. or something they can write/draw things in and exchange with each other.
IV. The bit about wanting to go skydiving. It’s not the first time they both said they wanted to do it. I hope they get to someday 🙏🏼 well actually there was a fake rumor back in 12/2019 that talked about them already planning a skydiving trip.
Tumblr media
• Yibo Official and XZS is at it again with similar things in their post. They truly are dating. They have my blessing. 😌
Tumblr media
• Also some people went 👀 with the three dots. cpn interpretation is it means i miss you. feel free to not believe this one. Hahahahahaha!
Tumblr media
• There is a scene in OOL where GW and LZX go to a convenience store. This brings backs a repo shared before about a fan who worked on the OOL crew. They shared about GG shooting that location and even included a photo.
Tumblr media
Here is an excerpt of the candy. Treat this as fake. OP started by saying GG looked sad or maybe tired because of filming.
I saw gg took a bag of potato chips, I thought he wanted to buy it directly. after taking it, you can see him smiling at the potato chips. he took a photo of it. After finishing, put it back to the original place, take the mobile phone and send WeChat (because it is just to watch typing posture). He was laughing and typing ten. There seems to be no reply from the other side. I looked at the snack area for about 5 minutes. (...) There is a voice over the chair, I think it must be the person you are waiting for. GG had a smile. Then after the play, GG immediately asked the assistant to look at the phone. GG was smiling after Listening to the voice.
That’s all for now clowns. 🍭

Dear Sparrow, You have really amazing analytical skills and your detailed knowledge about the Naturoverse is just as impressive! It's always so interesting to read your posts and I value your opinion a lot. Now to my question... How would a realistic romantic relationship between Naruto and Sasuke look like in our eyes?
I'm not really interested in knowing who is seme and who is uke, but what their couple dynamic would look like? What would be their struggles? What would they talk about?
For example, what if Naruto wanted a family and Sasuke didn't. Would Naruto -as a Hokage- be hesitating on sending Sasuke on dangerous missions? What are their plans for the future?
Or how would they search for/react to/display/intimacy? Would they stay closeted (like they kinda are in Boruto XD)? Or would they be openly gay and live with each other? How would each of them react to homophobia towards them? I'm curious about your head canon! ♥️
Thank you so much for your compliments @itsmischiefsblog 😍😍😍
But you asked the wrong person!!!! LOLOL.... I’ve never read any SNS fanfiction so far  to even base my headcanon upon (except for 1 which had just 3 chapters and I just started 1 very recently)
But,
I can say you one thing.
As you know very well that I treasure SNS ship a lot, A LOTTTTTT..... So I won’t just compare this ship with anything so easily. And if I do, which means it’s really worthy. I came to ship SNS only because Naruto and Sasuke’s interaction always reminded me of this other Ship I loved a lot before watching Naruto.
And after finishing Naruto, I came to this conclusion that If Naruto and Sasuke were allowed to be together, then probably they will display their love very similar to the other Couple I loved. Because culturally they share the same value and the world is Ancient. Just like Naruto series has Chakra, they also have Spiritual Energy in their abdomen.
And also, the Couple shares the same dynamics with SNS... That is, One is a  Bright, Cheerful, Messy, Prank loving Bubble and the Other is an Unexpressive, Stern, Elegant, Intense loving Heart-throb....
Oh by the way, in this Dynamics everything is similar to SNS except for One.... What happens if Sasuke stayed in the Light Path and Naruto went to the Dark Path??? What will Sasuke do for Naruto??
If that interest you, then this series will be for you.
I suggested this series to another SNS Blogger Friend of mine @seraphina-herondale ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Now she is Brainrotting and Gushing over this couple so badly.... Because they are very similar to SNS and has more Fluffs, many subtle Intimate moments and extremely good chemistry....
If you want to know my Head Canon.... You have to watch this series and I am sure you will never regret it!!!
Not to mention, Just like SNS has SNS toys, pens, mugs, perfumes and many other merchandise.... That couple also has a lot of merchandise and is extremely popular. It was based on a BL Novel and got adapted into Anime as well as Live Action Series... Live Action is what I am talking about.... It also has a Chibi Version of Anime as well....
Novel has all the ‘Hot’ contents towards the very end.... But Live Action has passed that couple off as Soulmates because of Censorship... But still the Show Creators had found a round-about way to make the couples Marry on-screen indirectly in our plain-sight.... LOLOLOL...  Just like how Rikkudou Sennin made an unofficial Marriage for SNS....
If you ever decided to give this amazing series a try.... I suggest you to start with the Live Action, then Novel, Anime, Chibi-Anime.... In this particular order... Because Live Action has no Adult Contents and so Pure just like in Naruto Manga.... It will really make you gush over them a lot and then if you want to really know how they ‘Get together’, you can read the Novel linked here..[Link]
That series Name is The Untamed (Chen Qing Ling),based on the Novel named Mo Dao Zu Shi, available in Netflix, Viki Rakuten or in WeTV app. Please don’t google or Youtube to spoil yourself.... Just Go straight to Netflix and Watch it....
Anyways, I would like to provide you some Teaser in order to show you the similarities they share with SNS .... Just only few.... there are a lot actually...
BONDED UNDER THE MOONLIGHT
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both couples Bonded under the Moonlight... Actually The Untamed Showrunners mentioned in their interview that they decided to capture that scene under moonlight to provide a ‘Romantic Effect’..... LOL... Am sure Kishi must have thought that way way back in 1999..... 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
GOOD MATCH
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both the characters are so happy over the fact that they found their ‘Match’....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
WHO AM I TO YOU?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The situation is mindbogglingly similar... Naruto asked that Question when Sasuke is trying to avoid him and going towards that dark path.... This person also asks this same question when the other person was avoiding him and going towards Darkness....😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
OUTSIDERS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both the respective characters, after getting into the Darkness, actively trying to push their Light.... By using the same term.... ‘Outsiders’..... Ooooof!!!!! 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
I AM TAKING YOU BACK TO...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both these characters represents Light... They want to take their Bae into the place where they live.... In Naruto, it’s Konoha (Leaf Village).... In The Untamed, it’s Gusu (Cloud Recesses)
CRADLING MY BAE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aren’t they adorable, warm and tender?????

Just like how Sasuke represents Yin in Naruto.... The Person who is very similar to Naruto represents Yin in The Untamed.
Aren't they all similar????
So, Please don't google about this and try to watch it without any spoilers because the plot is equally captivating as our Main Characters’ chemistry.... Lots of Angst, Tears, Brotherly sentiment, Brother-Sister Bond, no annoying Female Characters.... And Don't just watch it for the fluff stuffs because the story and romance is like Yin and Yang... You really have to pay attention to the story to understand their Bond.
First 2 episodes might be hazy... because the story is Non-Linear... But don’t drop it.. Starting from Episode 3 you will really get into the Flashback and then later you will understand what First 2 episodes are all about...

So, Yeah!!!! The Tagline itself touts them as Soul Mates...
This is my Head Canon about the Adult version of SNS... And the Actors are really handsome and talented enough to portray our Naruto and Sasuke in a Soulful Manner with such Tenderness.
After watching this series, even if you have a shred of doubt that Naruto and Sasuke may be Brothers.... it will all fly off to the trash Can because, the show clearly distinguished how Brothers would Act around each other and how Soulmates act in a subtly Romantic Way. I wish those Antis watch this series and understand the meaning of Soulmates & SNS... That’s only my wishful thinking...
[[I am not saying one ship is better than the other ship.... All I am saying is One Couple resembles the Other and I love them in my own way, equally]]
The Main Couple in The Untamed are Officially Gay (in Novel) and Soulmates (in The Live Action Series). If they are Gay and Soulmates, then so is SNS.
