You know what I don't get?? How do nh and ss look at Boruto/Gaiden and think SS and NH works?? I get it's denial but how much can you deny? Isn't it a burden to lie to yourself that much? I mean nh and ss are non existent throughout both parts. But the canon ending probably gave them some defence. I mean if I shipped nh or ss, no matter how delusional i was, i would definitely have left those ships after Gaiden, Naruto thinks of Sasuke looking at bento when clearly his son thought of his mum. Such a clear parallel. And ss.....well, Kishi bashed ss like hell in Gaiden. Like with a vengeance. Naruto talks about Sasuke like ooh he is so handsome and attractive and hot and talented and amazing Sarada, you don't know how cool your dad is. When have we ever heard him talk about Hinata like that? He calls her plain looking weirdo 😭. Isn't it obvious? Like okay, Sasuke and Naruto aren't married but they literally behave like each other's spouses. Sasuke won't even kiss Sakura, he looks like he would rather be in an alternate dimension without oxygen in the atmosphere, instead of being with Sakura. I mean....i can't imagine the amount of lying to themselves ss and nh have to do. The last literally stole SNS tropes to make nh work and even then they couldn't look believable...😭. One lie leads to twenty others, and everytime i hear ss and nh metas, that's all I get. Lying lying and lying to oneself. It must be so hard. Why would you put yourself through thaaat much trouble to ship someone??? Like it must be so painful. I feel kinda sorry and sad for them. To want something that bad but not able to have it, while constantly running after it like crazy people in the hope they will get a crumb somewhere, it's just so pathetic and sad.....

Hello Anon :) Well there are 2 kind of shippers i think.

You have the type who just ships for the sake of shipping, because they like how both character look together and that's it. They didnt read any meta post, or they dont go that deep on looking about information of that ship, and only have seen the anime and saw a scene where this 2 characters interacted and that's it. A ship can born with just only one interaction of 2 characters and that's it. I think there is no much problem with these shippers cause they know they do not know that much about the ship, of course they will go crazy if they see canon content...But they can actually think and reflex if you give information about how non-canon is their ship.

I have 2 friends who belong to this type of shipper: They ship SasuSaku but they started shipping them because of a picture and then they saw the anime. Of course they were influenced already, they thought both looked good together and thats it. But they know well, very well how stupid is for SS to be together in the end and they recognize that they dont know each other. Unreal for a SS huh? xD And they say that SNS is of course the most strongest ship. But they prefer SS for their looks and that's fine.

THen you have the other kind of shipper who lives in a nube de pedos as they say in my country (a fart cloud) who live in extremely delusion. I dont know why, maybe some colective hysteria? I dont know, but its interesting how a looooot of them believe something they have not seen in the anime/manga. And they make mental gymnastics to make SS fits in moments that are not meant to be with them. I think, is precisaly the lack of canon content (and content at all lol) they had, that they have to imagine moments and conversations between sasuke and sakura, that never happened. And they think about them that much, that somehow they end up believing they are real, or they can be real off-screen.¿¿¿

But i think they reflect perfectly the person they fanatisize first with, which is Sakura. Most of SS fans are first of all Sakura fans. And they reflect very well their cherry blosom princess, living in a fart cloud, feelings. She , as her fans, deluded till the point of believing she had the enough power on Sasuke emotions to make him stop twice from his objectives¿ And i dont know where this thought come from cause he never showed hesitanting doing something because of thinking about sakura idk ajslkdfj But as I said, they feed themselves enough with fics and headcanons that they delude the reality and canon content, with their fictional material.

For example. I was a SS shipper back in the day, also NH, yeah i know...dark times. And well i cannot speak that much about NH because i shipped them bc of yolo. But for SS, there was this fact STATED AS CANON that Sasuke went with itachi telling him that he liked some girl with pink hair¿¿¿¿¿ and this was stated as canon in all freaky fan bases. Of course i was !!!!! but when looking for the content, i found any because it wasnt canon of course not xDD And another thing is that they believe SS have this enemies to lovers dynamic. They believe they are some Leon /Ada (from Resident evil) dynamic, she a powerful woman and he a powerful man ¿ but their ways are not meant to be together. And you can see this dynamic in a lot of SS fics. I also believes this dyanamic as well, which is fascinating but then realized they are not like that...That there...there is nothing at all. About NH is the same, well with them is worse xD They are non existent. What i can conclude, is that meanwhile they belong to these kind of shippers, they will always live in denial while they have their headcanon and theories about their ship. The only thing they could use as shield is that they are canon and they will defend "that title" till the end. They, as their queens, wont care about the marriage cause in the end they got what they wanted and thats where the story ends.
