i feel like this isn’t as good as i could’ve made it, so i’m sorry anon, but i am fresh out of ideas for this, i hope u don’t mind that i added scenarios i just couldn’t help myself

was obviously intimidated when he and his family arrived at your village

both were absolutely starstruck when you you locked eyes as you rose out of the water alongside tsireya

when he said hey to u you could not find the words to speak so u just bowed your head and smiled

both were overjoyed when your father announced that you would be showing them around and giving them lessons

the way you made sure to keep close to him and sent looks in his direction didn’t go unnoticed by tsireya

he could not take his eyes off of you, his stomach would flip every time u looked back at him

when she asked you about it when you got back to the marui you tried shrugging it off, in reality your mind was in a turmoil

it didn’t go unnoticed by neteyam either, he was teasing him about it allll night long

the next day, when it was time to give them lessons you made it a point to keep rotxo and aonung in check when they made fun of them

when everyone got out of the water and got situated on the rock, you chose the closest spot next to him

you both noticed that neteyam knowingly grinned at lo’ak and started sweating bullets

“You want to breathe from here,” you explained, moving your hands to your upper stomach for reference. Everyone followed along, but the only ones who failed to understand was lo’ak and tuk.

Without thinking, you reached over and placed your hands in the exact same spot, only this time, onto lo’ak.

Your hands were searing from the contact and you felt him stiffen under you.

“Your heartbeat is fast,” you mumbled, meeting his eyes.

“Sorry.”

“Breathe in slowly,” you continued to explain, laughing nervously when you felt his heart beating even faster than before.

knowing glances were wordlessly tossed among the group

everyone except for tuk, who groaned and crossed her arms in exasperation

eventually the lesson was done and everyone was going back to their marui’s as the sundown was approaching

right as u were about to enter yours, you were pulled back by the wrist

it was lo’ak, obvi

you called him a skxawng for scaring you but then you were all ears instantly

He looked hesitant before speaking, eyes darting around and looking at anything but you.

“Could you meet me on the shore?”

Your eyes widened a bit, pulse starting to race.

“I… When?”

“Tonight.”

“Tonight?!”

His eyes darted to yours at the sound of your voice. Mentally cursing himself, he lowered his head in embarrassment.

“If you can’t it’s— it’s fine. Sorry I asked.” he started to walk away, your stomach flipped and you lurched forward to grab him.

“No! No, lo’ak all I meant was that if we get caught we’ll be in a lot of trouble.”

His eyes searched yours, trying to decipher what the words meant.

“…Yes. Yes I’ll meet you on the shore. Tonight.”

A grin pulled at his lips, nodding firmly. As you pulled away, albeit hesitantly, from him and walked away, his skin tingled at the feeling of your touch.

when he arrived to the shore and didn’t see you there, his smile dropped and his chest deflated with disappointment

he’d gone through all the trouble of sneaking out only to find he’d been stood up

after nearly 10 minutes, he started to walk away with his head down

until he heard footsteps behind him

you really had shown up

you explained that you had nearly gotten caught and apologized profusely, but all he could focus on was that you had shown up

of course you did, he was the asshole for thinking you wouldn’t

you spent the night together, give him better lessons and watching the stars

he’d pointed out a specific star, the star that his father had come from

it was the most fun you’d had in a long while

so much so, that you found yourself sneaking out every night to meet him, never once caring about the consequences

every time, the two of you would grow closer and closer

yet neither of you wanted to fess up about the feelings you were having

the easily recognizable feeling of tension that sifted through the air when you locked eyes, or accidentally touched one another

EVERYBODY KNOWSSSS.

on one night in particular though

you and lo’ak were playing around, nearing your marui’s and saying goodbye

until you heard approaching voices and footsteps

they sounded extremely close

mouth going dry, when lo’ak cluelessly opened his mouth to speak, you hurriedly shushed him and shoved him into a dark crevice between the homes.

His golden eyes met yours with concern and confusion and you lifted a finger to your lips, cautiously poking your head around the corner to check.

Only to whip it right back inside.

‘They are coming’ you quickly signed to lo’ak, stilling instantly.

Two villagers walked past as soon as you did, your heart beating so loudly you were sure they would hear.

Thank Eywa they were too focused into conversing to notice the two Na’vi hidden between the marui’s.

Ushering lo’ak out and back onto shore, you both broke out into laughter.

After recovering, you turned to look at him, only to realize the close proximity between the two of you. His golden eyes were trained on yours and you inhaled sharply, gaze wondering all over his face.

“Lo’ak…” you whispered, bringing your hand up to his cheek. Searching his eyes deeply you began to reach up, almost connecting your lips with his.

“I’ve never done this before,” he said breathlessly, body pressed flush against yours. “I haven’t either..”

He released a breath he had no idea he was holding, drawing himself impossibly closer.

“Good.”

And with those words, he captured your lips in his, a hand resting on the small of your back while the other was tucked into your hair. Your other hand found it’s way to his cheek and you kissed back, trying to engrave the feeling into your mind forever.

Neither of you would pull back until you felt that air was an absolute necessity.

“I’ve wanted to do that since I met you,” lo’ak said, gaze pinned onto yours. You flushed and looked down, intertwining your fingers with his.

“I see you.” you smiled and pressed a quick peck to the corner of his lips. “We should probably get home before—”

“What are you guys doing out here?” Tsireya asked, eyes widening in realization when she caught a glimpse of your hands.

You quietly gasped, pulling your hand back. Lo’ak did the same and you shot him an uneasy expression.

“Sister, it was nothing—”

Tsireya simply smiled, stepping down from the rope. “Lo’ak you need to go. Your father is looking for you.”

He cursed, quickly moving in the direction of his marui. He looked back to you and gave you a lopsided smile, you waved goodbye, knowing he would make it up to you.
