11.10.2023 (Pai XPai Guesthouse)

In der Stadt aß ich dann meinen Lieblingsburger und trank einen Pfirsichsoda. Danach ging es wieder ins Guesthouse und an den Pool. Als ich mich anständig gebräunt hatte, legte ich mich noch etwas in mein Bett und schaute ein bisschen "Fern", also Videos auf YouTube. Um 17:15 Uhr machte ich mich dann los zum Canyon, um mir dort den Sonnenuntergang anzuschauen. Es waren ca. 1,x Milliarden Menschen dort. Der Sonnenuntergang war schön, aber ich hatte ihn mir irgendwie noch schöner vorgestellt.

Ich fuhr dann vom Canyon aus direkt in die Stadt und holte mir an 2 verschiedenen Ständen Sushi und an einem anderen Stand einen Smoothie sowie eine Flasche Orangen- und Passionsfruchtsaft. Das habe ich dann allesamt mit in die Unterkunft genommen und auch dort gegessen und getrunken. Nachdem mein Bauch dann so voll war, wie er nur hätte voll sein können, ging ich auf mein Bett und arbeitete etwas am PC. Es kamen dann noch 2 Deutsche auf mein Zimmer. Habe das Gefühl, diese Stadt gehört mittlerweile zu Deutschland... Aber gut! Morgen geht es ja wieder weiter, nach Chiang Dao, 130 km von meinem jetzigen Aufenthalt. Ich denke, für die Strecke brauche ich ca. 3,5 bis 4 Stunden. Dort bleibe ich dann wieder 2 Nächte, bevor es von dort aus nach Chiang Rai geht und dann, gute Nacht.

15.11.2023 (Chiang Rai Baan Mai Karden Hostel)

Zum Frühstück gab es echt leckere Sandwiches, da waren Würstchen drin und Ketchup und etwas Salat. Ich machte mich danach los zum blauen Tempel, das Licht war definitiv besser als gestern. Er ist nicht riesig, aber kostenfrei und, so wie ich finde, sehenswert. Ich bin nach dem blauen Tempel nochmal aufs Zimmer und habe ganz langsam meine Sachen gepackt. Ich entspannte noch etwas in der Lobby und bin dann nochmal ins Café gefahren, das liegt nur einen halben Kilometer weit entfernt. Dort gab es dann einen Melonen-Smoothie und einen Schokoladen-Frappé.

Ich fühle mich heute etwas antriebslos, irgendwie ausgelaugt. Aber ich denke, das wird vergehen, wenn ich wieder für einige Tage eine feste Bleibe habe, oder es ist das Wetter. Es ist nicht wirklich heiß hier, aber irgendwie ist die Luft so schwer. Nach dem Leckerli machte ich mich auf zu meinem Simkarten-Betreiber. Ich wusste nicht mehr, welcher es war, aber zufälligerweise landete ich beim Richtigen.

Und auch hier muss ich wieder sagen, SERVICE. Ich kam gerade zur Tür rein, es war ziemlich viel los, machte sich ein Mitarbeiter direkt auf den Weg zu mir und fragte mich, wie er helfen kann. Ich sagte, ich bräuchte eine neue Simkarte, da meine am 17. ablaufen würde. Ich wies mich einem Mitarbeiter zu, der sehr gut Englisch sprach. Er fragte mich, ob ich mein Telefon entsperren könnte, was ich dann tat. Daraufhin tippte er in das Tastenfeld irgendeine Nummer ein, und er hatte die Daten direkt auf dem PC. Keine Ahnung, wie das geht, aber gut. Er sagte mir, dass sie mein Simkarten-Betreiber sind und lud mir eine hauseigene App runter, auf der ich mein Guthaben auffüllen kann und immer sehen kann, in welcher Geschwindigkeit ich verbunden bin, wie viel GB ich frei hab (bei meiner Auswahl unendlich). Er erklärte hier und da noch etwas, und ich ging lächelnd und zufrieden wieder raus. Das war sehr angenehm. Klar, in Deutschland im Geschäft kommt auch jemand auf einen zu, aber irgendwie fühlt sich das hier alles anders an.

Angekommen im Hostel begrüßte mich eine unvorstellbar nette junge Frau. Sie zeigte mir mein Zimmer und erklärte mir, wo das Badezimmer ist, wie die Türen funktionieren, etc., also das gleiche Spiel wie in jedem Hostel. Ich legte meine Sachen nieder und machte mich wieder direkt auf den Weg, denn wer aufgepasst hat, weiß ja, dass ich jetzt eine Lizenz zum Drohne fliegen habe, und das muss natürlich direkt genutzt werden. Ich fuhr also los, doch bevor ich das kleine Ding in die Luft geschmissen hatte, besuchte ich noch den weißen Tempel.

Und Leute, den MUSS man mal gesehen haben. Das ist ein reines Kunstwerk, gut, soweit ich weiß, wurde er auch deswegen gebaut, bzw. wird noch gebaut, aber echt HEFTIG. Ich verbrachte einige Zeit dort, schoss viele Fotos und nahm einiges an Videomaterial auf, das wird ein Porno für den Tempel, das ist klar. Ich habe heute sogar noch ein Schreiben für die Behörden verfasst, wenn das akzeptiert wird, dann, naja, lasst euch mal überraschen :). Aber gut, ich mache mir erstmal keine großen Hoffnungen.

Nach dem Tempel bin ich raus in die Felder und habe die Drohne 3 mal in die Luft gelassen. Die Sonne ging langsam unter, und das Licht war echt schön. Ich nahm etwas Wald auf und ein paar Reisfelder. Nach dem Fliegen bekam ich Hunger, und Maps hatte mir einen Nachtmarkt vorgestellt, und auch der war echt nice. Man stelle sich einen großen Platz vor bzw. ein großes „U“. Das Unterteil ist eine Bühne, der rechte und linke Schenkel besteht aus Buden, und in der Mitte mega viele Sitzplätze. Man kann sich da schön hier und da was bestellen und sich hinsetzen und in Ruhe essen, dabei Live-Musik, also das hat was. Ein Deutscher hatte mich angelächelt, weil er mich mit jemandem aus einem Bus verwechselte. Ich fragte ihn, ob wir uns kennen, und er sagte, naja, aus dem Bus. Daraufhin sagte ich, dass ich mit dem Motorrad hier sei, aber egal, Ende der Geschichte. Wir aßen viel zusammen und redeten, nach 1 bis 2 Stunden gingen wir dann wieder unsere Wege.

Ich machte mich zurück zum Hostel, welches nur 1,4 Kilometer weit weg war, und bin duschen gegangen. Dann setzte ich mich in eine schöne Lobby, war etwas am Rechner, und dann, gute Nacht.
