Frank's owner ended up hatching her remaining eggs. I think how wheaten and melanizers interact will always be fascinating to me. Frank was one of Princess Cream's chicks and she was solid black. In the presence of melanizers Wheaten acts like a recessive gene but here in her chicks you can see the evidence of her hiding wheaten
This was Frank. She was solid black and now we know she carried mottling.
And this is Frank's father Nugget he is black and carries mottling.
This is Frank's Mother Princess Cream she is wheaten based
Despite Frank being paired with a black mottled rooster she still threw 2 little wheatens. I'm very interested in how these chicks feather in. I think the father should improve the coloring of his chicks for my friend but how the wheatens will look as kind of mystery, will they be Buff? Brownish? Black? Who knows.
Here's the father. He isn't from my line at all but I am very familiar with this parentage lol
Rules: Put your top 100 songs on shuffle and assign the first ten random songs you get to a specific BL couple, doesn’t have to make complete sense to anyone but you. This is harder than it sounds, trust me.

Clearly this was meant for the end of the year but I've never seen it before today and I wasn't tagged but I want to do it lol. I'm just going to put my favorite playlist on shuffle.

Frank has matured into a very pretty pullet. I really like how big her tail is and I like her facial structure a lot. She is Princess Creams daughter out of Nugget and she has some of Creams spiciness towards other birds but is much more docile. Since she has been raised by a broody then also raised with very large meat birds she is extremely bird confident and will likely want to be a head/boss hen in her new home.
Unfortunately my gals were dustbathing before their photoshoot so they are a bit dusty.
